After several months of lies, Melania finally admitted she wore the “I Really Don’t Care, Do U?” jacket to send a self-centered message to the media on a day that was supposed to highlight the plight of people affected by her husband’s horrible policies. Hearing the news, I was reflecting on the craziness of the past few months and wanted to take the time to thank YOU. I’m so proud of everyone who purchased an “I Really Do Care” T-shirt, jacket, and tank top. We sold thousands, and you helped us raise $20,000 for RAICES! I am beyond grateful for the response we received. The whole process was total a whirlwind, and I thank everyone for bearing with me. After posting the “I Really Do Care” T-shirt, my shop went viral and in that one week we sold more T-shirts than would typically sell in an entire year. All of the sudden I had thousands of new customers, new orders, and new conversations to respond to, and my shop became instantly unmanageable. I normally work solo—but my husband, friends, and family really stepped up and donated their time to help us get everything out to you. Even after printing, it took us about two weeks just to pack and ship that many pieces, working day and night! That being said, our work is not done. Many children have still not been reunited with their families after the deadline passed, and even more separations are planned. Our work is not over!
