i spent an unusual amount of time transforming oasis springs into strangetown - or TRYING TO - and went as far as to do the entire (complicated as heck) family tree for the curious/smith fam. and right now i just hope i can move them all to strangerville because im just. really really happy and excited. im ready to solve those alien mysteries
so its to my understanding that the new gamepack is inspired by strangetown and that. makes me SO HAPPY!! as someone thats pretty much infamous for loving strangetown to pieces. so im excited and i hope it doesnt disappoint. ...ok even if it does i dont care ill love it anyway. i doubt it has enough room for me to move my strangetown sims out of oasis springs but hey
Fun Fact: The Lochness Monster was supposed to be in The Sims 2. It was in original Sims and if you stayed on the neighborhood screen or downtown long enough it would show up at the bottom left of the screen. However, while it was planned to return, it never did. The mesh for the object remains in The Sims 2 though.
Better fact: Someone extracted the mesh and turned it into a buyable pet for The Sims Unleashed. The game considers it a cat.
I know townie life must be hard. But come on, these outfits maxis generates make me wanna cry and scoop my eyeballs out.
So basically what this does is prevent maxis from using certain accesories/clothing that are awful on basically every townie.
This doesn’t delete these items obviously, you will still find them in CAS. But the townies generated after installing it won’t wear any of these items. Remember this only affects newly spawned townies, not already existing ones.
There are three packages: one for accesories (including fedora hats, space helmets, tall hats, some glasses, and more) one for basegame clothing (certain items that are uhhh and townies wear all the time) and one for city living clothing (same as basegame, mostly weird dresses and stuff).

I can’t stop making new drinks… And I improved a bit my skills. :)
Sims can drink those hot drinks standing or sitting, and it takes as much time as a regular coffee. They have an impact on your Sims mood (but not on their needs: a coffee will make feel them energized but it won’t boost their energy level) for a limited amount of time.
Most of these drinks are functional versions of drinks I had made decorative first, so this time, you won’t have to ask me the deco versions! ;)

This time, you’ll find smoothies (that make happy!), sodas (that make your Sims energized), water, beers, syrups…
I think I’m now done with drinks for a while… ;)
