"Extra Buttery"

When impatient Kai watches the anime he was supposed to watch with his girlfriend without her. TW: nothing just fluff (this is my first oneshot it was a little rushed but its not too bad. sorry in advance about how many times i used y/n i didn't know what else to put. ) word count:826

Kai sat in the living room eating his "dinner" which consisted of some kind of instant ramen and a cold can of orange Fanta™. His  eyes set and focused as he watched some  anime him and Y/n was binge watching. Impatient he was so he was watching without her like he promised not to. Y/n walked in after getting off work and followed the noise of the loud intro into the living room. Kai's chopsticks were halfway to his mouth as the noodles fell off back into the bowl, yet Kai continued to bring the chopsticks to his mouth. Y/n set her work bag on the coffee table across from Kai's steaming ramen getting his attention. The boy briefly looked at his girlfriend with a warm smile "Hey, babe" he said as he looked back to the TV.  Y/n faked coughed to get his attention back on her. "what ya watching,Kai Kamal Heuning?" she said giving him a look he knew too well "I-I'm sorry i just needed to know what happened next-" Kai quickly sputtered out. "You couldn't wait one day? It wasn't even one day it was eight hours,Kai" She said, the disappointed not leaving her face. Kai momentarily went silent as he looked to his lap. "Can I make it up to you?..." the boy muttered.   "In what way?" she said her tone a little softer. "I can rewind it, and cuddles. A bunch of cuddles. I can make you popcorn too..." Kai said as he looked up at her with puppy dog eyes. "Extra butter?" she said with a small smile. The boy's face lit up as he sprung from the couch. "Extra butter coming right up!" he said with a large grin across his face. He speed walked to the kitchen turning on the the popcorn maker and began making popcorn. Y/n leaned back on the couch closing her eyes. She had a long day at work. Nothing bad happened she just missed her lovely boyfriend and was tired.

Kai's girlfriend was already half asleep when she felt a pair of soft lips against her cheek. "One bowl of popcorn. Extra buttery" Kai whispered his breath hitting her face. Her eyes fluttered open and she smiled warmly as she pulled her boyfriend's arm making him sit beside her. Kai rewinded the show as he wrapped his arm around his girlfriend's waist letting her lay her head in his chest. He pressed unpause as they began munching on the buttery popcorn. "i missed you today,Lovey. A lot." Y/n whispered. Kai smiled softly at his girlfriend whisper. "i missed you too. A lot." he whispered back. Y/n smiled and nuzzled into Kai's warm neck. Kai kissed the top of her head. " "I love you,sweetheart" he whispered into her hair as he took in her scent of warm vanilla and cherries. "I love you,more" she murmured sleepily. "Ah,Impossible to love more than me" Kai teased softly. Y/n made a slight chuckle as she whispered "we love each other equally... when you round". Kai chuckled warmly and looked back to the TV. "look they're about to fight" he whispered. "hey! no spoiling." she said gently hitting his thigh. "you were too busy looking at your handsome boyfriend to even be watching." Kai said with a smile. "oh shut up" she fake complained. "make me" Kai taunted with a cocky grin. Y/n quickly grabbed a handful of popcorn and shoved it in his mouth with a chuckle. Kai leaned his head back laughing. "hm, made you." she said as she laid her head back on kai's chest. The couple went back to watching the anime as they sat closely intertwined with each other.  Y/n eyes began to get heavy yet she tried to keep them open so they could keep watching the show. Kai noticed his girlfriend's attempts to stay awake and he paused the TV. "you tired,honey?" he whispered softly. She just gave a weak nod and nuzzled closer.

Kai turned off the TV and gently picked her up her legs wrapping around his waist. With his free arm he picked up his empty ramen bowl and the empty popcorn bowl his other arm was under her holding her up like she weighed nothing. he walked to the kitchen and set the dishes in the sink before carrying her to their bedroom. Kai laid the tired girl on the bed in the dimly lit bedroom moving some of his stuffies off the bed so the two of them had room. He climbed under the blankets beside her and pulled her on top of him so she was between his legs and her head rested on his chest. "goodnight,honey" Kai whispered as he rubbed her back luring her to sleep. He got a small hum in response before her breath evened out and she fell asleep.

INTERDUCTION

Hai i'm Katy I write headcanons, oneshots, and possibly some series. if i can get myself to commit to them. Im 19. Im a little newer to the k-pop scene. I began stanning BIGBANG around December 2024 then that lead to Stray Kids, and Tomorrow by Together. I write for mainly any k-pop and Weak Hero class one and two. I need ideas so REQUEST, please I'm begging you. (i will literally anything. kinky, tooth rotting fluff cry yourself to sleep angst ect. Im Hyuka, Lee know, and Daesung biased.
