SAAAMEE OMG im more into the fandom scene than oc scene these days so i dont see the larger oc community. and all my friends all have fem ocs. but as soon as i started rolling the random user on artfight like OP did i was so flabbergasted because All i saw were men. i dont gett it 🥀

#i have so manyh thoughts about her but the main one is apologetic for keeping her with a malebest friend like ryunosuke naruhodo#also the game itself kinda does my work for me with 2-1 :sob: with its own commentary on being a woman in law at this time#but :p kazuma can make it through anyway because shes built different or whatever#but i wanted to draw the speech competition specifically because i think kazuma giving a gutsy controversial speech#just to lose to SOME GUY talking about a “safe” topic who happens to speak more clearly#i feel like that would be 10x more frustrating as a woman especially knowing you have the passion he doesnt#but yah <3#tgaa#kazuma asogi#dgs#wait im rambling more. because while i watched the video i also did the random user thing in artfight and didnt get one fem character for m#first SIX users rolled sooo#as someone whos probably invested actual tens of thousands of dollars into my main gal (i dont wanna think about it) but cant be fucked to#sit down and design her father (or any other man for that matter) when i was rolling random users i was SHOCKEDDDD#some ppl living entirely different lives out there#anyway

#its complicated cuz we can say right now- with the knowledge of misogyny we have Now-#that she would be justified in being mad at them#but i dont think susato herself would agree. and thats part of her character thats something that i do like#i like to imagine the fact susato expresses so little of her (justified) frustration on screen is a deliberate writing choice#which breaks my heart because SHES ONLY 16 FUCKKK#but in general a lot does happen off screen because its not in ryunosukes view. and putting them together from the pieces we do get is Fun#to me#so its complicated. getting frustrated at men around you for this is a complicated and frustrating feeling that she doesnt have an outlet f#sigh . heart. sorry i usually like to let my art speak for itself and love seeing the different ways different ppl read it#but i feel so strongly for susato mikotoba i couldnt resist the yapping EYAAHHHH
