What did I do while recovering from surgery for two weeks? Become obsessed with fictional gay Chinese men

Xie Lian is tripping because his underclothes are caught on a small flowering tree (bad luck and all ya'know)

Experimented with halftones for shading for the first time

I favor a more rugged and chiseled Hua Cheng, gave him a strong jaw and cheekbones

I blended several outfits for Hua Cheng, it's canon he had a huge wardrobe

Did I add too many details? Yes. Does it look good? Yes.

In just a little over two weeks my GoFundMe had over $1,000 donated to it!! ❤️ I am astounded by the kindness and generosity of everyone who donated, shared, and left me messages. I never expected this much help and support, so it’s so hard for me to believe I am receiving it. Thank you, thank you, thank you all so much!!!!

I will be having my pre-op appointment next week, and will hopefully getting a fully detailed list of expenses for the surgery (more-so than what I posted here, which was just an estimate).

I know $14,000 is a lot to ask for, but it would be overjoyed to get even just $2,500 minimum. This at the very least would cover the salary I would be missing during my two week recovery period. If you can, please share this around with friends and family that you know. Any donation or help is greatly appreciated!

What if Twilight Sparkle was like......a real horse?

Design details under the cut:

She's not based on any certain breed. I made her proportions similar to a weanling/young horse to make her seem young and unsure. The idea was to make her look like she's going through a growth spurt after getting her wings and becoming an alicorn.

She's got a roached mane bc I think it makes her look cute and nerdy :)

As a full grown and fledge alicorn and princess she would be much larger and have filled out proportions

Spike is cute and very pet-able. I went with a more traditional dragon design because I think it fits him better than cartoony and chibi

Supreme Ruler of Equestria Princess Celestia

Design notes under cut!!

Her face and body is based on the kladruber breed. I love their strong faces and bodies, I thought it would lend her a sense of elegance and power

Scrapped the pink color scheme for one that makes more sense for ruler of the sun! Blues and reds to match the color of flames

Curved horn bc it looks ethereal and different

Imagine the flame details in her hair is always slowly moving and undulating

Her 'crown' is points of magical flames that come off of her horn.

Overall I wanted her to look alien and ethereal, separated from the rest of the ponies and drastically different looking from them

Rarity, but as the prettiest real life pony you ever saw

Rarity is based on the lipizzaner breed, very beautiful and elegant white horses

Her background is some sort of victorian eastern inspired parlor design

I tried to color her to look iridescent and shimmering, which I felt was only fitting

She was my favorite to do uwu

Pinkie is supposed to be a cob! They're just fun, chunky pretty horses to me (plus the extra long hair felt fitting)

Yes she gets candy stuck in her hair all the time, no it does not always get removed

Made her curling her lip up since some horses do that when they're excited/happy

dont ask me how a horse wraps presents and throws a party with no hands

Gummy is a small baby alligator, one day to be as large as Pinkie Pie

Rainbow Dash goin fast!!!! But as a real horse

Rainbow Dash is based on a thoroughbred, obviously

Muscled and lean body, not the longest tail or mane to decrease drag

Smaller wings shaped like those of falcons, built for short bursts of speed (think dives from extreme heights)

Fluttershy as a real life horse (mule)

Made Fluttershy into a mule pegasus! I personally think mules are very elegant and refined, and thought it would be a unique take on her

Yes she got big head and small leggies, many mules do look like that

Gave her green primary feathers to compliment her pink mane/tail

I believe she would be a very sweet and soft mule pegasus uwu

THERE IS. a website. that takes 3D models with seams and pulls it apart to make a plushie pattern and informs you where things need to be edited or darts added for the best effect. and then it lets you scale it and print off your pattern. and I want to lose my MIND because I've lost steam halfway through so many plushie patterns in the mind numbing in betweens of unwrapping, copying all of the meshes down as pieces, transferring those, testing them, then finding obvious tweaks... like... this would eradicate 99% of my trial and error workflow for 3D models to plushies & MAYBE ILL FINALLY FINISH SCREAMTAIL...

Applejack is based on a halflinger! Smaller, but still stout, draft breeds that matched her color scheme very well!

She's pulling a big ol wagon of apples!

I referenced actual hauling draft horse harnesses for her. Don't ask my to explain how she would get it on with no fingers

Hylian Prince of the Zora's Domain, Sidon!

Design explanation below cut!

He has on a 'fantasy' wetsuit to better match the water centered zoras domain and to let him easily splash around!

The wetsuits is based on actual wetsuits i found, but with some liberties taken

No shoes because who wants to swim with shoes on?

He has a small skirt of chainmail poking out of the top of his top bc he still needs lightweight armor ya know?

All his arm, leg and other armor is pretty much the same as in game

Gave him a pretty pink cape to match his canon zora colors and for extra ~flair~

He has pretty locs because I can and he looks very handsome

Almost gave him a fishing pole type weapon, but went instead with the lightscale trident
