Greetings!
The group has descended to Hell. A place of madness, blood and gore. They’re here to rescue a wayward soul that was wrongfully bound to this plane.
Indescribable beings hound them from all around, trying to make their mortal souls stay down here forever.
Yet the adventurers press on, unfazed by the horrors that surround them.
The pathways of hell are confusing and labyrinth-like, there’s frequent need to use portals to get around.
The heroes reach a place where three giant skulls speak directly to their minds. They speak of the beast that lurks within each one of them. They want them to betray their companions in exchange for power. Can the heroes resist the temptation? Will they survive the encounter once they reject the fiends?

Greetings!
The group has been traveling the Depths for the past few days. Their supplies are low and in dire need of buying a few potions, food, and perhaps a nice meal.
Lucky them, they happen to find just what they need. A market, only available the second day of the week, sets up in this corner of the Depths for all bartering needs.
Not only will you find the aforementioned items, but there are artifacts a plenty. Stranger creatures sell stranger items of unknown origin.
What will the adventures find while perusing the market’s wares? And will a battle ensue because the prices are deemed too high?

Greetings!
The strange cult had been gaining power for a while. Everything was going according to plan and the faithful acolytes were getting ready for the endgame.
But then tragedy struck, an impure sacrifice, the god was not amused. The god raged and punished their followers, cursing them to forever roam the temple as undead.
The party of heroes is ready to purify everything, and get rid of the undead menace. Can they succeed or will they fall prey to the ancient blood magic at work?

This map's been a long time coming, ever since I made the Cursed City megamap last year, I've wanted to do another very large map that can capture some of the unbroken exploration and discovery opportunities from games like Baldur's Gate 3, Breath of the Wild, or Elden Ring. In that effort, I've been doing larger maps every month instead of lots of "little" 30x30 maps, and by joining those together with some careful stitching and editing, I can make stuff like this. I hope you enjoy peopling it with monsters, treasure, and creepy encounters for players to discover together.

As always, hi res, ungridded, lineart, psd files, and variant maps are available to patrons! Downloads at patreon.com/dungeonmapster
The creaky piers and ramshackle huts built over this murky, lily-padded, aquamarine swamp are just as much a reflection of their inhabitants as the foreign locale they’ve chosen to spend their lives, creating a town based around a towering, ancient willow.
The other map I’ve been working on over the last week, a late bloomer in the poll I posted in December about upcoming projects, and my first “town map” style, as compared to my more closer, intimate scene maps.
I like it a lot, and I hope you all find this little map a convenient resource for your campaigns.

Coming soon to a shadowy alleyway near you, it’s Maisie’s Slightly-Cursed Item Shop.
If you’ve been following my personal posts over the last couple days you’ll know I’ve been working on revamping the magic shop that shows up in the D&D campaign I run. It’s a pseudo pop-up shop that is (literally) run out of the coat pockets of a skeevy but earnest merchant named Maisie. The purpose of the store is to make magic items readily purchasable, but force the players to have to think of clever ways to get the items to work in their favour. No pain, no gain.
While some of the language is pretty specific to my campaign setting, I wrote these pages with the intention of having Maisie and her store be usable in other people’s games, so feel free to tweak her how you want if you decide to use her!

Weatherbeaten steps rise in a winding, bending path up the steep cliffside, hewn into the rock in ancient times. Simply looking at the scores of stairs is exhausting, and any travelling packrats are sure to groan at the prospect of making the climb, but for those that wish to reach the frosty summit, there is no better way.
The mountain barrow tomb juts from the rugged terrain of the mountain's peak, its weathered stones blending with the natural rock formations. Massive stone arches, intricately carved with ancient symbols and motifs, adorned the entrance, creating an imposing yet eerily beautiful facade. The arches loomed overhead, casting long shadows that danced in the flickering light. At the barrow's entrance, a large and ancient door still stands, rusted in place by an age of neglect, guarding the final resting place of the inhabitants of a bygone age.

Cultist's Lair and Tomb of the Secret Boss, a couple throwback dungeon maps!
This crypt was once a place of rest for the dead, but in the hundreds of years since its abandonment, collapse and disrepair have obscured its deeper purpose, and the true duty of the order once charged with its keeping. Now, it is fertile ground for aspiring cultists, necromancers, graverobbers, and bandits, but its greatest bounty and most dangerous secrets have yet to be discovered.
The stairs so long concealed in the lair above lead down, deep into the earth. The stale air and utter silence of the place are disturbed only by the torches burning on either side, lighting your way to a large stone door. A small socket lies waiting for its key, the golden staff hidden away in the dilapidated passage above. An instrument of the last warden of this pale mausoleum, and the terrible power imprisoned within, both long forgotten. However one manages to breach the door, silent stone sentries stand guard over six sarcophagi. The seventh, and most terrible, depicts a shrouded figure carved in stone, the lid chained to the stone floor. But are the chains to keep robbers from getting in, or to keep what's inside from getting out?

Random Tricks for D&D
In D&D, tricks are like traps only weirder and less lethal. They're placed on objects by dungeon inhabitants and ambient magic. A tricked object is triggered when creatures interact with it. Roll d100 on this table for a random Trick Effect (text table under the cut).

City Depths Map Combo
This XL battlemap is a combination of 6 of my battlemaps.
Below the city's streets, the sewers lead into the hidden and well-guarded Thieves' Guild, and long-abandoned passages wend through caverns into forgotten ruins where cultists still sacrifice to their dark deity.
