My Senior Thesis Project. It is over 10,000 still photographs I took using my DSLR (nikonD300) and pieced them together to create a short narrative film.

Can't sleep, so I shoot.
As the saying goes...don't cry over spilt, wine?
Its a take on my 'work in progress' with religion/spirituality.

Slipping from one mold into another is and never will be how I live my life.
Its seems like I am finaly coming to terms with the idea that I have to let Italy be in the past and live in the present. Recently I have been given alot of time to myself and although I struggle with feeling lonely, I don't struggle with being alone anymore.
This message is for my girls. You know who you are (Kat, Rebecca, Elizabeth, Emily). As time slips between the days and months we spent together, nearly everyday in eachothers lives, I am constantly reminded of you. This song I am posting, imparticular.
I want to again thank you girls for teaching me that is okay to be vulnerable, that its okay to feel hurt by someone and let then know how it felt, to want more, to become more, to love, to hug, to express, to forgive but not forget and to sing whatever it is that is stuck in your head, however loud, for however long.
As I listen to this song, each time, it is like a fast action film reel of all we have been through and experienced is projected into my vision. It catches my breath and I am frozen into some kind of numb, subconscious state of dreaming. I can feel ones energy, smell the scent of sweat and fog, become dry in the mouth, hear someones laughter and see silhouettes of movement and ancient cobblestone beneath my feet.
Can we promise to never stop...
dreaming
learning
opening
wanting
listening
loving
experiencing
tropmping
laughing
wondering
eating
understanding
creating
touching
breathing
-until our last breath
So much fucking love for you all,
Sonja
