I think the thing about gen z, is that we are going to be nothing like our parents. So many of us cry ourselves to sleep and wish we have someone to talk to. And that sticks. It leaves a mark. So we are the generation that care to much and feel nothing at all. I think we are going to be the parents we wish we had for ourselves so our children never have to go through what we did. How many of us wear scars, cut by our own hands? How many of us cry silently because our voices aren't being heard? What dreams do we have, but are afraid to speak of, because we will be shut down? I can't be the only one who thinks this way. Then again, many of us don't even want kids because we all hate the world we live in, but it's our turn to make a difference.
This is our time to speak up. Don't let them shut you down. It seems we are on our own so let's make our own families because a family is more than blood. You have a voice, right? Then use it.
I know no one will see this, but my thoughts needed somewhere to go because, I'm a gen z, right?
So yea. We are going to be the parents for our kids that we wish we had for ourselves. That's all I wanted to say.
