Everyone should check out Doctor4t and everyone on Content SMP!!!! Content SMP is an absolutely incredible modded smp where the creators make their own mods. In the current arc, Rat built an entire dimension called Neverend to trap a few other members of the server in, and it's AMAZING. Absolutely incredible vibes, and it caused so much genuine terror for the other members of the SMP. They've done so so much more, too, and all of their mods are incredible!! Go check them out :)

On the topic of life series inspired SMP's, there's a group known as the WRACKS who do those! They've had 2 main series so far and there's been content for both of them! There's Ampersandthewiz who made videos out of the double life they did and SerotoninRat, who made videos out of the one after that, 4th Life! Both of them start a lil low quality but it's really charming how you can watch them improve at things like editing over the course of the videos. I know Amp and Serotonin are on tumblr too so that's fun.

Double life series are always a fun watch! I love seeing how others take the concept and run with it. Every group brings something new to it, and this one is no different! being able to see how this friend group’s dynamic changes the experience is exciting in its own way, even with how new to the community they are. Theres even little introduction cards during Ampers’s Double Life pov, so you get to learn more about each member even if he dosen’t interact with them much!

Alaskan Nymph makes great one block skyblock videos as well as other cool minecraft stuff, great editing :D (definitely not bias <- drew a thumbnail for them recently)

She dosen’t have many videos but she is very calming to watch! You can tell that the quality of her videos gets better as time goes on, which is a joy to see!! The editing of the videos ensures that even if you have her in the background, you will be able to know what is happening! Also, Gem and Skizz mention in the skyblock series. This was a needed mention we love them in this household.

I know people probably know a lot about Skizz because of the Life Series, but compared to other people from the Traffic series, he's really underappreciated for what he does outside the series!

Skizz is hilarious, straddling the line between PG and adult humor a bunch without ever coming off as crass. He's genuinely a nice guy who wants to make sure everyone is having a good time no matter what is going on. He also knows ImpulseSV the best, having known him irl since they were both in high school so he knows all the best ways to push Impulse's buttons without making him dislikable.

Outside of the Life Series, he has a solo series (though he hasn't played solo Minecraft in a hot minute ;n;), and he has done a bunch of collabs with other people, the most recent being that he and TangoTek were invited to build things in Jimmy's (SolidarityGaming's) private Christmas themed world!

THIS IS TRUE! Skizzleman appreciation forever!! Especially considering how little traction he gets outside of his collabs with the popular MCYTs, you should most definitely check out his Solo Skizz series - you'll find that he's just as silly and charming as he is in Secret Life, if not more! His episodes are humerous and entertaining, and you don't get bored for a second even without the crazy editing, just through his pure charisma!

Oh this guy is great! I& can definitely see why his stuff is good enough to come back and rewatch - the letsplay has chill vibes, he's chatty and I&'m excited to see what adventures he gets up to in it! :D He makes me& feel very nostalgic for some reason, despite not having watched him before - maybe it's the older modpack he's playing, maybe it's his playstyle, but he's cozy!

The narration, video, and editing are simple, but GODS do they suck you in. SHADY CADENCE!! I LOOOOVED her x life unlimited series she's literally like a younger Ldshadowlady BUT SHE ONLY GETS LIKE 100 VIEWS PER VIDEO AND IT'S SO SAD?? I LOVE HER?? She makes me giggle so much and She's so quirky omg I NEED MORE FANS OF HER!! WHY DOES SHE BARELY HAVE ANY RECOGNITION!!!! She's such a good builder too like what ??

YOU'RE RIGHT!!! Her videos improve so much with every episode, and I& love that she's not afraid to use creative mode for building or make the game easier for herself! It's something you see very rarely so I& was very happy to see that :D She makes me& smile so much and there is so much genuine wonder and curiosity in her voice! She's trying her best and it shows!

Another youtuber that was on dominion smp - sneve! Absolute madman, absolute redditor (derogatory) (affectionate). He should definitely not be your only pov of anything he's in, as he's often just being a weirdo in the corner, but his shenanigans are very fun to watch. Also dominion was a family friendly server but that never stopped him god bless

he's currently part of scenario smp, a very fun series with a buncha small/ mid-sized mcyts in it that id reccomend if you like longer and very new-mcyt videos

I&'ve seen him in a bunch of videos in the background already, as you mentioned! :D Thanks to all the Dominion SMP submissions! I&, however, cannot support the messaging denouncing his POV, as I& greatly enjoyed his humour and I& think he deserves a watch! On that note, you're right that at this point people should just watch the whole entire server!

Since this blog was partially inspired by @doyouknowthismcyt, I& have this idea - the first poll there is going to end in a day, and I&'m curious if it would be a good idea to do a "Who is this Minecraft Youtuber?" where I&'d reblog the youtubers that the majority voted that they never heard of before, and give a similar short propaganda like the type I& already post here?

also, for older MCYTers that focus on more informative modded playthroughs, there's nobody quite like ToAsgaard -- no, seriously, his ability to make mods work alongside each other and building prowess in general is downright insane. this is the type of guy who will intentionally make things more difficult for himself by refusing to do things the easy way when it comes to storage systems/automation/etc, and he makes it look good, and he does it all with the world's most casual delivery like it's no big deal to have broken three mods and found a way to farm the Wither overnight.

also, his builds are incredibly stunning and usually highly detailed to boot, often right down to places (mob grinders, storage, resource farms) that'd otherwise be left alone because they're only used to gather more stuff. that's probably what's coolest other than all the other cool stuff about him -- his bases are gigantic, but almost every single corner of them will have some amount of detail work and even some casual discussion of the lore of the place!

our personal favorite series from him are ATM: Spellbound, Celestial Journey, Sevtech Ages, and also his Betweenlands tutorial series (which is outdated due to further updates to the mod, but has a lot of useful information and know-how on Swamp Hell That We Are Very Very Biased Towards) -- but pretty much all of his stuff is equally impressive and worth a watch once he gets into a modpack!

Man oh man! This guy had me& stuck watching his videos for like an hour or two - his stuff is really thorough. The mods that are so technical I& couldn't even get the basics of are ones he's an expert in. I& think you put it better than I& possibly could have described. No background music was honestly a welcome touch, as his accent makes his voice very pleasant to listen to! I& do get the feeling that for this guy it's best to watch the series from the very beginning to the end rather than just jump in from the latest episode like I& did. An enjoyable experience nonetheless!

we've recently gotten really into lemonskyryan's stuff -- he recently stopped doing the shorts series he was known for, Mini Mod Reviews, but his short video essays and mod(pack) playthroughs are where it's at for us! one thing we really enjoy about his stuff is how he not only entirely avoids but also outright decries the usual "modded is so much better than vanilla and Mojang are just lazy" sentiment that makes for easy ragebait; instead, he focuses on what makes mods special and interesting while also acknowledging the same for the base game!

(mind you, this can cause a lot of mood whiplash when about three minutes later into the playthrough, he's saying Fuck with his whole chest because of a difficult situation he's put himself in, but that's part of the charm.)

we've really been enjoying his playthrough of Alex's Caves and are really excited to see where his content goes, especially now that he's stated he's freed up a lot of time from no longer scripting the Mini Mod Reviews that can go to his other projects -- but making the leap from being a Shorts MCYTer to a longform MCYTer can be difficult, so it'd be cool to get a little bit of steam behind him!

Oh I&'m having an absolute blast watching this guy so far! He's really good at the longer videos and the pacing of them is perfect! Really high quality stuff, something about him just scratches my& brain in the right spot. Maybe it's the emotive voice (and, as you mentioned, colourful speech), maybe it's how easy it is to follow along with what he's doing even if you're unfamiliar with the mods, but this guy is just perfect. If you enjoy modded he's a definite must-watch. Knows what he's doing and his channel has some neat variety (hey, I& recognized him from the fan-made disc he made! Minecraft fan disks are a very interesting niche worth diving into)
