Oh, I didn't even realize how much time had passed! At the moment I've kind of lost motivation to keep the comic going, so it's on hiatus. There may be updates in the future, but not for now.

I just had the idea of Shadow and Maria in Classic Style, they look so adorable like having the moment they meet and Shadow being a shy baby who doesn’t to much.

I've ended up very busy lately doing loads of fledgling-adult things (such as moving out and pinning down a stable job), so I'll be putting this comic on hiatus for a few weeks. Thank you all for bearing with me!

Had a bit of fun with the lighting and effects on this one as well! I tried to use Flowey's thorn vines as a panel edge, but I'm not sure how well that turned out.

This page is a bit lower-effort than the others, especially since I wasn't sure what to do with the blocking, but I wanted to get this week's page out on time. There'll be little deviations like this one here and there as we work our way through the Ruins!

A twist of fate and of the knife. Oh well, looks like that flower wasn't so friendly.

For this page I did a bit of experimentation with effects! I'm pretty happy with how they turned out, though it's definitely limiting to use only grayscale and red. Oh yeah, did I mention that blood is colored here?

Since the next page might be late (I have gotten sick again :( ), I figured I'd post some of the little Frisk doodles I've made via request of my gf to tide you over!

See, it's not all black and white. This part was a bit hard to figure out the blocking for, especially since this introduces the battle palette and I hadn't had it figured out previously beyond the last page. Things may be tweaked about the way the encounters are styled, but this is the general feel we'll be sticking with!

Kids are gonna be kids, and this is no exception. Magical talking flower? Must investigate!! I sure hope that lively curiosity sticks around; they ought to know what they’re dealing with.

This is the first animated-ish thing I’ve done for a comic! I may do more of these in the future, though they’ll definitely be rare. This one was a bit of a hassle for multiple reasons :,)

I love flowers! This one looks incredibly friendly. And it has a face, but we can all gloss over that, right?

Turns out I recovered faster than I thought I would and whipped this up as soon as I could! I'm excited to be back on my feet.

Almost forgot to do this one! Oops! But it's officially here. We are quickly coming up on the current update, and I'm excited to catch y'all up to speed.

Oh! you've fallen down, haven't you... This page took SO LONG to get right, but I'd say I'm proud of it! The cave walls here are the work of Toby and Temmie, and everything else was done by myself! This is pretty much the only place you'll be seeing that. On another note, I'm currently working on an Undertale AU called Keeper's Heart that's being hosted on Tumblr! It's an askblog-style format that has no posts yet, but I'm working on it alongside this comic. I may post a separate thing about it later!
