please. (LS2 x OP81)
logan finally has to confront his deepest want. part 3 of "changed" part 2 w/c: 968 day 33/34 of loscar posts until we get a loscar podium!!!(series masterlist) masterlist tw: swearing
You are a disappointment.
People don’t like you.
You’re an outcast.
Failure.
Logan suppresses everything he’s feeling right now: anger, rage, regret, sadness, guilt. Everything bottled up in his heart.
Pathetic.
His eyes shut tightly, but everything is clearer than crystal. All of it. Every lasting second of it feels like another shot in the heart. Every striking minute feels like salt poured into the wound. Every memory feels like a twisting dagger.
Logan starts sobbing more violently, bringing his knees up and burying his head in them. His sobs echo around the room, bouncing off the walls and back into his ears.
Worthless.
Logan whispers repeatedly, doing everything to get his thoughts away. Shut up. Shut up. Shut up.
His door opens.
Shit.
“Yo, Logs, I’m heading-” Alex’s voice is heard.
Logan keeps his head buried, he’s not going to let Alex see him like this.
As if this couldn’t get any worse, he hears Lando in the background. Some muffled voices but he’s with Alex.
“Mate, are you alright?” Alex’s voice softens.
Then he hears footsteps. Alex is walking closer to him, he keeps his head buried tightly, his knees press hard against his head.
Alex’s hand touches Logan’s back, which makes him flinch. He shuts his eyes tightly and breathes.
“You said this would take a few seco-” Lando’s voice can be heard, “Oh.”
Logan continues to keep his head down as Alex sits down next to him.
“Logan?”
Oscar? It’s Oscar’s voice.
Logan can feel more tears brimming, but he continues to silence his sobs.
More footsteps can be heard entering his room, the door closing afterward. Logan doesn’t react.
“You good?” Lando kneels down in front of Logan.
Logan remains stoned in his position. How’s he going to respond, what will he even say? A tear escapes his eye and drops onto the bench cushion, Logan feels a sting in his throat.
He doesn’t know where exactly Oscar is in the room right now, but he just hopes Oscar leaves soon. He cannot let Oscar see him like this, let alone let Oscar know that Logan has been crying about him.
He shuts his eyes and hopes they all leave soon.
“Logan.” Oscar says and Logan almost feels like breaking down into tears.
A few seconds of silence follows and he feels a weight lift off the cushion. Then footsteps, then the door opening, then the door closing.
“Logan.” Oscar’s repeats, “It’s just me now.”
That does not make Logan feel any better. Logan hates this. He wants to see Oscar but not like this.
Oscar clears his throat and slides Logan’s phone under his knees so he sees it. His fatal mistake.
“You’re crying about me.” Oscar deapans.
Straightforward as usual.
Now what? You’re pathetic Logan. You suck Logan.
More thoughts fog up his head. Possible outcomes, all of them are bad.
Oscar laughs at Logan and leaves.
Oscar makes fun of Logan and calls him a sad pathetic loser.
Oscar’s hand stroking Logan’s back almost makes him flinch violently but he resists doing so.
Oscar’s hand continues stroking up and down.
Maybe Oscar would tell everyone and embarrass him.
Oscar calls him pathetic.
“I won’t talk about it if you don’t want me to.” Oscar’s voice is soft, like when Oscar used to talk to Logan.
Is he mocking Logan?
This has got to be a joke, some sick joke. He’s probably being filmed right now.
Logan finally shakes his head. He hates his thoughts right now, they all press down on the back of his head, stopping him from lifting it up and just looking at Oscar.
“Logan, will you please… look at me.” Oscar pleads, his voice growing with concern, “I just want to see that you’re okay.”
No. NO. NO.
The voices resound louder in Logan’s head.
“Logan please.” Oscar’s voice pleads even more.
“Just for a while.” Oscar continues.
NO.
He wants to lift his head up, look at Oscar. Everything else doesn’t want him to. His mind fills up with every single bad outcome possible, all the dreaded thoughts pull him deeper into the abyss.
Logan shakes his head again.
“Just leave me alone.” Logan says, holding back his sobs.
Oscar’s hand leaves Logan’s back and it feels empty now.
Logan feels like slamming his head against a wall. What the hell is wrong with him?
“Logan, I just want to-”
And then, just as if some external force takes over his body, he shouts, “PLEASE. JUST LEAVE.”
A small gasp escapes Oscar’s mouth and he gets up, leaving the room.
FUCK FUCK FUCK
Logan breaks down. He doesn’t hide the sobs anymore, he cries. The tears flow down his cheeks.
What was he thinking?
Pathetic.
Failure.
Worthless.
Of course he fucked up, what was new? Logan Sargeant, the man of all mistakes, the mistake of all mistakes.
He punches the cushion again.
Logan just wishes he was better in everything he did. Then maybe he wouldn’t be such a disappointment. People would stop worrying so much about if he made it out alive. Everything would be so much easier.
You deserve every failure you have.
You were the problem.
You failed.
-------
A few minutes, maybe hours, pass and Logan can feel the dried up marks of tears on his face, staining his cheeks. His eyes are puffy red and his throat stings from sobbing.
He just imagines how Oscar is having fun with Lando and Alex right now, enjoying life and forgetting about Logan.
Nothing new. Mr Unmemorable. Mr Forgettable.
He wipes whatever tears can be wiped off and gets up, slotting his phone into his pocket. He straightens out his clothes and takes a deep breath, walking toward his door.
It’s late already, everyone’s probably left.
He opens the door and walks out.
“Logan-”

one sided love (OP81 x LS2)
Love isn’t supposed to be this complicated. Logan realises Oscar’s not looking for him. w/c: 586 day 31 of loscar posts until we get a LOSCAR PODIUM (series masterlist) masterlist
Love isn’t supposed to be this complicated.
Logan sits on the couch of the club, staring into the life of the party. He watches as Oscar sits with his groups of friends, chatting and laughing while Logan observes from across the room.
Oscar is mesmerising, and his laugh is just absolutely perfect. Oscar is, honestly, adorable.
Logan snaps himself out of his thoughts, slapping himself on the hand. He cannot be thinking of these thoughts, they’d ruin him and Oscar’s friendship, and that was the last thing he wanted.
Oscar walks over to him and waves.
Logan waves back but he feels the butterflies in his stomach flutter around.
“Hey Logs!” Oscar says.
“Hi…uuh… Osc.” Logan says and internally screams at his awkwardness.
Thankfully, Oscar chuckles.
“Great party, no?” He asks.
“Yea! No. Amazing party.” Logan stutters again.
“Then why’re you sitting here all alone?” Oscar asks, almost tauntingly.
“Uhm.” The question catches Logan so off guard, “Well… I don’t exactly have any friends here right now…”
Logan tries to divert his awkwardness with a slight laugh.
Oscar is absolutely perfect. The way he smiles and laughs, the way his head tilts when Logan does something stupid, the way Oscar’s hair is just so… flowy.
Logan can’t stop staring, and he realises a little too late that he’s been staring into Oscar’s eyes for a while.
“Helloooo.” Oscar says as he snaps in front of Logan’s face.
“Sorry! What… was it?” Logan asks.
“You could join me.” Oscar repeats.
“Uhm… yea… no thanks.” Logan says and he instantly regrets it. He just burned his one chance of getting a chance to talk to Oscar.
“Oh… alright then…I’ll be on the dance floor if you need me.” Oscar says.
Oscar proceeds to the dance floor as Logan stupidly stands there, expecting Oscar to turn around and drag him onto the dance floor.
But no. Oscar pulls someone else in and starts dancing with them to some upbeat hype music that the DJ is putting.
He feels a bitter feeling sting his heart. Jealousy.
Logan stares at Oscar as he looks into the person’s eyes, like the way Logan looks into Oscar’s. His hand placements are just… not platonic.
Oscar’s talked about him before, in a way no one who was just a friend would ever.
Oscar gets closer and closer, almost touching lips at this point and Logan can feel a clutch onto his heart as it beats ever so intensely.
He can’t believe it.
Oscar’s in love with someone else.
Logan feels it all break down. His one chance of something just disintegrates before his eyes. He really wishes he said yes to Oscar’s invitation.
Then as their lips get closer, Logan can’t watch anymore. He sprints out of the club, into the cold night, which offers a refreshing blast of cooling wind.
His mind replays the moment like a sick film on repeat.
He hears cheers from the club.
They must’ve kissed.
He almost breaks down on the side of the road. He feels his legs about to buckle but he resists the feeling of falling to his knees and instead, takes everything left in him and runs off in some random direction.
The night eventually comes to a close as Logan sits on his hotel bed, staring into the ceiling, wishing he could turn back time and just change everything. Maybe if he was more confident this would’ve worked. Maybe if he spoke up sooner this would’ve worked.
He hates it.
He regrets everything.

ice cream? (OP81 x LS2)
oscar takes logan out for a happy little day-out. Life is hard. That’s an understatement for Logan. Everything goes wrong for him, every turn is an unlucky one and every choice is the wrong one. Well every choice but one. w/c: 476 day 30 of loscar posts until we get a LOSCAR PODIUM (series masterlist) masterlist
Life is hard. That’s an understatement for Logan. Everything goes wrong for him, every turn is an unlucky one and every choice is the wrong one.
Well every choice but one.
-----
“Logan!” Oscar says as jogs over, giving Logan a solid smack on the back.
Logan almost falls over, stumbling forward a few steps.
“Hey Oscar.” Logan says as he regains his balance.
“What’s up!” Oscar swings his arm over Logan’s shoulder and tugs him closer. Oscar had always been reserved but his love for physical touch was something different.
Logan places his arm over Oscar’s shoulder too.
“It’s been a hectic week.” Logan sighs.
“Oh…” Oscar lowers his energy level slightly, “Well… it is what it is…?” Oscar hesitates finishing the sentence.
Obviously this comes out without a filter and Oscar almost regrets what he’s saying.
Logan lets out a soft chuckle. He could never be mad at Oscar.
“Hope your week went better.” Logan says. Oscar pouts slightly.
“Now I feel bad.” Oscar says.
“You don’t need-” Logan says but Oscar doesn’t give him a chance to finish his sentence.
“Let’s go for some ice cream!” Oscar excitedly says and he doesn’t really give Logan a choice before pulling him.
Logan doesn’t resist, letting Oscar pull him along.
------
Oscar eventually finds an ice cream stand and pulls Logan to his side.
“C’mon pick one. Any one. I’ll pay.” Oscar energetically says as he points to the choices.
“Uhm… I don’t-” Logan says.
“Nope! Pick one!” Oscar interrupts.
“Really?” Logan asks.
Oscar nods intensely.
“Okay alright…” Logan scans through the choices, “Mint chocolate chip?”
“Predictable.” Oscar says before blowing a raspberry.
Logan rolls his eyes and punches Oscar’s shoulder.
“One mint chocolate chip and… one vanilla.” Oscar says to the ice cream man.
They get their ice cream and Oscar gives Logan his cone.
“There we go!” Oscar says and starts licking his ice cream.
Logan does so too and both of them walk back to the paddock.
“So… feel better?” Oscar asks and Logan nods.
Oscar jumps for joy and wants to hug Logan before he realises that they’re still holding their ice creams.
“Lemme try some of yours!” Oscar says and licks a bit of Logan’s ice cream.
Logan returns the favour by licking Oscar’s one.
------
They make it back to the paddock and Oscar fake yawns, “Logieeeee can you finish your ice cream.”
“I am about to.” Logan says before eating the final biscuit of his cone.
The moment Logan chews the last biscuit, Oscar dives straight in for a hug. Logan gets taken aback but hugs back anyway.
“Feel better?” Oscar asks.
Logan nods and hugs Oscar tighter.
“Ice cream next week too?” Oscar says.
“Of course…” Logan replies
They continue hugging for about a few minutes before they both walk back to their respective garages. They won’t forget this, ever.

you’ll stay? (LS2 x OP81)
logan’s life is hard but he’s got oscar. w/c: 651 day 29 of loscar posts until we get a loscar podium (series masterlist) masterlist
Logan has never felt more alone. He sits on his bed, the cold embrace of his blanket enveloping him. His tears slowly flow out, tracing his cheekbones, clinging onto his chin before falling onto the bed. His head is tucked between his two knees, soft sobs echo in his hotel room.
He’s alone.
A knock on his door forces Logan to sit up and wipe his tears off. As he walks toward the door, he checks the mirror, cleaning off any trace of him crying from his face. Logan takes a deep breath and puts on a smile.
He opens the door and comes face to face with Oscar.
“Hi Logs.” Oscar waves, he’s holding a bag.
“Hi Oscar.” Logan says after clearing out his throat, his voice comes out more hoarse than expected.
“I didn’t see you at the party. Alex was there!” Oscar says.
The party. Logan forgot if he got invited but he wasn’t planning on going anyway.
“I crashed.” Logan deadpans, “I’m not gonna go to a party.”
“Yea… my bad.” Oscar says before he lifts up the bag, “I brought some pastries, my grandmother made them. Thought you might be hungry.”
Logan stares blankly before taking the bag from Oscar, “Thank you.”
“Mind if I come in?” Oscar asks.
Logan looks back into his room and hesitates.
“I mean if you don’t want me to then I won’t…” Oscar’s voice trails off.
“Come in.” Logan says.
“Oh. Cool!” Oscar walks into the room and takes a seat on one of the chairs.
Logan closes the door and places the bag on the table before sitting down opposite Oscar on the edge of the bed.
“How have you been?” Oscar asks, then instantly regrets it, “Sorry, stupid question.”
“It’s okay.” Logan says, he doesn’t exactly want to converse right now, he sort of just wants to cry.
“So… life’s rough?” Oscar says, “Sorry. Stupid again, I’m not very good at this whole… conversing thing.”
“It’s fine.” Logan says.
“Do you want me to help you with… anything? You could talk to me right now.” Oscar says.
Logan sighs, “I just need to cry right now.” He says before flopping back first onto his bed.
“Oh… are you okay if I stay?”
Logan nods, not sure if Oscar could see but Oscar stayed where he was, so Logan assumed he saw the nod.
“If you want me to leave anytime just tell me.” Oscar says before sitting next to where Logan was lying down.
Logan usually would never cry in the presence of someone else, he had a facade to keep up. However, right now, Logan couldn’t care less.
When he crashed, the only faces he saw were disappointed ones. They only got more disappointed in him when Alex scored points. All of them shot Logan with wary eyes. Alex was disappointed in him. James was disappointed in him. All of them were.
He tried his best, he really did everything he could to get better but nothing paid off. His dreams were like flashing before his very eyes.
Logan stares into the ceiling.
“Are you disappointed in me?” Logan asks.
Oscar shakes his head, “No. I would never be.”
Logan lets out a soft scoff, “Sure…”
“Hey! I would never be disappointed in you.” Oscar says, patting Logan’s thigh, “I’m always proud of you.”
“I literally crashed today.” Logan says.
“Everyone makes mistakes.” Oscar shrugs.
“Clearly I make more than others.” Logan scoffs, mostly at himself.
Well, I believe in you then, I believe that you’ll get better.” Oscar says.
Logan lets out another scoff disguised as a chuckle.
“Yea…right…” Logan says, as he feels his tears slowly filling his eyes.
“Shut up mate.” Oscar says, “You’re an amazing driver, you will get better.”
Logan smiles slightly but the tears continue to flow.
“I’ll stay with you, every step of the way. Okay.”
“Promise you’ll stay?”
“Promise.”

jealousy and regret (OP81 x LS2)
part 1 part 2: “eugh… alexander albon” oscar gets smacked in the face by his talk with logan and alex. w/c: 1576 day 28 of loscar posts until we get a loscar podium (series masterlist) masterlist
“I’m sorry. Do you know where… Logan is?” Oscar quietly asks one of the engineers.
“Oscar?”
Oscar hears the all-familiar voice and turns around.
He’s met face to face with the blonde-haired, blue-eyed American.
“Logan!”
And just like clockwork, here comes Alexander Albon. The British-Thai 2019 rookie who honestly, Oscar has nothing against, other than the fact that he pretty much stole Logan away from him.
Alex slides next to Logan, hand swung around Logan’s shoulder, leaning onto him.
“Morning Oscar.” Alex says.
Oscar purses his lips.
Shit. Oscar shouldn’t be like this, he should be glad that Logan has someone to support him better. Oscar should be happy for Logan…
He pushes the thoughts to the back of his head and does his best to suppress them as Alex starts invading Logan’s personal space.
He grits his teeth, clenching his jaw.
“What brings you here?” Logan says with that wide smile on his face.
That makes Oscar feel slightly better, at least Logan still smiles at him.
“Uhm… you.” Oscar blurts out, clearly something didn’t go through a filter.
The silence in the room suddenly becomes louder, the awkwardness is tangible and the tension grows thicker.
Alex’s arm slides away from Logan’s shoulder, he’s still standing within Logan’s personal bubble though.
Logan clearly doesn’t read the room well.
“Oh… what’s up then!” He says, the excitement in his voice sharply contrasting the clear tensions building up right now.
“We should…” Oscar finally puts his words through a filter, “Talk. We should talk.” Oscar clears his throat as he finishes.
Obviously Oscar sounded awkward because Logan cocks up an eyebrow, which is something Logan does when he’s unsure of what’s happening. Oscar silently bets Alex doesn’t know that.
“I mean…” Logan chooses his words carefully, “Yea. Of course, I think so too. We really haven’t talked in a while.”
Oscar’s uneasiness fades off and he smiles, a small chuckle escapes too.
“We’ll get to talk later, sometime soon yea?” Logan thinks before saying.
Oscar nods, “Yep. Yep!”
“Right, so see you then?” Logan says.
“Alright!” Oscar says, internally cheering.
It all disappears in an instant when Alex and Logan walk off, being unbearably close as usual. However, something ruins it all, Alex leans into Logan, whispering something into his ear and Logan chuckles loudly at it.
God Oscar absolutely hates it.
The delicate barrier between internal jealousy and external jealousy shatters.
He’s so gonna get Alex out of this story. He’s so gonna get Logan back. He’s so gonna become Logan’s number one again.
Who did Alex think he was?
A few (admittedly painful) hours pass and Oscar sits in his driver’s room. Suddenly Lando’s murder plan doesn’t seem too bad now.
Speak of the devil.
Lando swings open Oscar’s door.
“Osc. You’re acting strange.” Lando says.
Straightforward, as always.
“How so?” Oscar says, hiding his misery with a fake smile.
“Don’t try that on me.” Lando says as he walks into the room, slamming the door shut behind him, “Spill right now.”
“I already told you. Williams drivers. Me and Logan.” Oscar says, his voice with a tinge of annoyance.
“Yea well usually you don’t dwell on it for too long, and haven’t you already talked to Logan?” Lando shrugs.
“Yes but it’s not that simple, Lando.” Oscar says, eerily monotonously.
“So… there’s something more?” Lando inquires.
Oscar rolls his eyes. He’s gonna hate Lando for this.
“I hate how Alex is close to Logan.” Oscar admits.
“Woah.” Lando says, his hands raising up, “What?”
“Alex doesn’t deserve it.” Oscar, once again, feels the jealousy completely removing his filter.
“They’re teammates, they’re going to be close. Just like us!” Lando says.
“Yea well, he wasn’t there for Logan when Logan was crying on a hotel bed.” Oscar scoffs, “You know who was? Me.”
Lando’s taken aback. He processes Oscar’s words first before trying his best to phrase the next sentence nicely.
“That’s very pretentious of you.” Lando says.
And it’s like a slap in the face for Oscar, he finally realises what he just said. Shit. Then the past few hours of murder plotting hit him in the face as well. Double Shit. He’s really letting this jealousy take over him.
“Fuck.” Oscar whispers.
“What?” Lando asks, moving slightly closer to Oscar.
“I feel horrible. That was so horrible of me.” Oscar buries his face into his hands, “I don’t know what’s gotten into me. These past weeks, it’s just been jealousy, jealousy, jealousy.”
Lando nods a few times.
“Well…” Lando thinks, “You should talk to Logan about this. Maybe apologise for being possessive too.”
It’s obvious Lando means it as a joke but Oscar feels like it’s a punch into the gut. He’s been insanely possessive.
“But seriously, talk to Logan about this.” Lando shrugs.
“Okay.” Oscar says as he stands up, brushing past Lando and walking out the room.
“I didn’t mean now… but okay.”
------
Oscar sees Logan filming Williams' media in the garage, right next to Alex. He suppresses the thoughts, constantly reminding himself that Alex deserves it.
They end shortly after and Oscar makes his way over to Logan. He, rather rudely, inserts himself into the picture, standing next to Logan.
“Hi Oscar.” Alex says, which prompts Logan to greet Oscar.
“Hey Osc.” Logan says.
“Can we talk… like right now.” Oscar says.
“I mean, sure, with Alex or…” Logan replies.
Oscar hesitates. Would that help?
“Okay.” Oscar says on instinct.
“Alright, cool.” Logan says and pats the seat next to him for Oscar to sit.
Oscar sits down, in between the two Williams drivers. He takes a deep breath before starting.
“Is this about Lando?” Alex jokes which prompts a laugh from Logan. Oscar laughs too, but with slight bitterness.
“No… it’s about you two.” Oscar says.
“Oh.” Alex replies.
“You know what, this is getting out of hand, I’m just gonna get straight to the point.” Oscar rambles.
“Why the hell are you two so close?” Oscar says, directing the question to Logan.
This question takes both Williams drivers by surprise, and seeing as though this question came without a filter, it surprises Oscar too.
“Because we’re teammates…” Logan says.
“Yes I know that but you two are… close close.” Oscar exaggerates his hand movements.
“Uhm…” Logan hesitates, “I guess Alex has been pretty nice to me, being a great person and all that.”
Oscar can feel his jealousy rising again, even more when Alex smiles at Logan.
Logan proceeds to tell his entire story about Qatar and all the races, along with how Alex helped Logan.
“Alex sat next to me while I cried, because I had no one else.” Logan says and it feels like he’s on the brink of tears.
Oscar’s jealousy gets replaced by guilt. He had no one else.
“Everyone hated me. Well, exaggeration but that’s how I felt.” Logan says and Alex places one hand on Logan’s thigh, “But Alex was there. So it was better.”
Shit. Shit. Shit. Oscar can feel the guilt piling up.
And then it finally dawns on him. Alex deserves Logan, not Oscar. In fact, Oscar doesn’t deserve Logan.
He’s placed everything else above Logan in the past year. Logan and his friendship didn’t matter to him, he was blinded; and while he was gone, Alex was there, to sit next to Logan while he cried on the hotel bed.
God he’s been a horrible friend. Everyone there knows that. Alex knows that, Logan knows that too.
He let Logan go and now, like some brat, he expected Logan back again. He really was pretentious. He only cared about Logan once it got too late. He pretty much ignored Logan for the better part of the year, burying their friendship 6 feet deep.
Oscar can feel his regret building as Logan looks into Alex’s eyes. Usually it would be jealousy.
This was his second chance.
“Sorry.” Oscar manages, a sting in his throat preventing him from speaking.
“What?” Logan asks.
“Sorry Logan.” Oscar repeats.
“For what…?” Logan’s oblivious.
“Being a shit friend.” Oscar says as he stifles a sniff.
“No… definitely not.” Logan laughs, “You’ve been a great friend.”
“You don’t need to lie.” Oscar sobs slightly.
Alex pats Oscar on the shoulder.
“Sorry to you too.” Oscar says to Alex.
Confusion builds on Alex’s face but he doesn’t inquire further, which is to Oscar’s benefit.
“It’s alright mate.” Alex says.
Oscar falls into Logan’s embrace, they hug.
Alex winks at Logan and gets up, “I’ll see you two soon.”
“I’ve been nothing but horrible. Please… forgive me, please.” Oscar says, his voice muffled from burying his head into Logan’s chest.
“Mate… I really have no clue what you’re talking about.” Logan says, his voice laced with concern.
Oscar looks up into Logan’s eyes, sniffling. He takes another deep breath, cleaning away his tears.
“You will not believe the things I have been thinking about these days.” Oscar says, “I’ve been so… so horrible.”
Logan cocks his eyebrow up again.
“I’ve been jealous.”
There, he said it. Somehow it lifts a giant weight off Oscar’s chest.
“Of me and Alex?” Logan asks.
“Yes. Exactly that.” Oscar replies, “But I’ve realised. I’m a bitch.”
“Hey! Don’t say that about yourself.” Logan says, quickly hugging Oscar again.
Oscar struggles to get something out.
“I forgive you man. Let’s start again, yea?” Logan says while hugging Oscar.
Oscar nods, once again.
Logan pats Oscar’s head as they hug for a bit.
------ a/n: hope you like it lol. a little rushed but i tried to make it work.
EXTRA SCENE (Completely non-loscar related btw)
Lando have they talked? tell me they’ve talked Alex They have. Yes. Lando and they talked about their friendship right. Alex Yes Lan They did. Lando great! Alex I know. Who would’ve believed Oscar would be jealous. Lando me. i said it before Alex No one believes you anyway. Lando do you forgive oscah? Alex Yes. Because if I was him, I’d be jealous of me and Logie’s perfect relationship too Lando blah blah shut up. Alex Tell Oscar I forgive him And that Logan is all his again.  jealousy (OP81 x LS2)
part 2 part 1: oscar’s jealousy. lando tells him to talk to logan. w/c: 1119 day 26/27 of loscar posts until we get a loscar podium (series masterlist) masterlist
Fate was a confusing thing. Whether you were fated to be lovers or fated to meet once and never again, or even fated to be unable to love each other ever. Childhood friends to lasting lovers? Childhood friends to eternal enemies? Childhood friends to scathing strangers?
Who was Logan supposed to be? Well, the answer was obvious but who was Logan supposed to be to Oscar? A benchmark? A friend? Something more? A dread? Oscar hated thinking about this but it always somehow crept its way back into his mind all the time.
Oscar steals one more glance at Logan. He is playing the most dangerous game, people could possibly see him.
Logan is standing at a random position in the paddock, taking an interview for some F1 media video. In Oscar’s defence, he never really wanted to do this, he was just walking in one fine day and boom, Logan Sargeant was in his face. Something took over him and he stood at one discreet corner, taking occasional glances at Logan.
He doesn’t know why he wants to stare, probably something cliche but looking at Logan is mesmerising, breathtaking and stunning. He wants to stare forever.
Logan’s interview ends.
Oscar wants to walk over and say ‘hi’ or something but before he can Alex takes that opportunity right away. Right, Alexander Albon. Alex swoops right next to Logan as he ends and starts a conversation immediately, pulling him away.
Oscar licks his lips and walks toward his paddock.
Now he’s alone walking, with his thoughts again. Logan and Alex. They look wonderful as a pairing, they are a special driver pairing.
Jealousy sneaks its way up, intoxicating Oscar’s thoughts.
That should’ve been him. Oscar and Logan. The best pairing on the grid, the ultimate duo. No one else deserves the right to stand next to Logan. Absolutely no one.
He shakes his head, burying the thoughts deep. He shouldn’t be thinking of shit like that, he should be glad for Logan, that he found someone, even if it isn’t Oscar.
Oscar kicks a stone to the side of the pavement as he turns into the McLaren garage. He walks in, walking past a giant board displaying his photo and his name. He wishes he was with Logan.
He stares for a bit longer before a violent slap onto his back snaps him back to reality. It’s Lando.
“Admiring yourself huh?” Lando cheekily says.
Oscar simply smiles and nods.
The McLaren duo walk into the garage and do their own things for a while before they’re gathered together again.
Oscar is there slightly earlier, so he scrolls through his phone while waiting. He just downloaded TikTok so there he goes. The first video which pops up is Williams Racing’s video.
It’s some funny idea where Logan and Alex try to mimic the tyre gun sound. It’s really stupid if Oscar is being honest but it’s pretty enjoyable. The both of them engage in some friendly banter.
And just like a snake, jealousy slithers its way back into Oscar.
He clutches his phone tightly. He’s pissed that Alex somehow managed to get Logan as comfortable as Logan was around Alex. That should have never happened. The friendly banter, the laughing at each other’s stupid words.
He feels a sharp sting into his heart. He should be there. Oscar should be the one talking to Logan while he laughs.
The door swings open and Lando struts in. Oscar quickly shuts off his phone and looks up to see Lando’s little sassy walk in.
“Good morning Oscar Piastri!” Lando says before sliding across the table and landing in his chair next to Oscar’s.
“Morning Lan.” Oscar replies and he sounds more under the weather than he expects.
“Someone’s sad today. What happened? Who hurt you? I’ll find them and I’ll attack them.” Lando leans slightly closer in, “I’ll elbow their stomachs and jump onto them.”
Lando starts excessively describing how he’ll hurt the person which makes him forget about his original questions. Oscar’s thankful for this, he didn’t really have an answer ready for the first question anyway.
It takes Lando a few minutes and some dramatic hand actions to eventually calm down about his apparent murder plot which seems slightly too specific to be just “a thought”.
“So. You haven’t answered.” Lando says, “Why so sad?”
Oscar can feel himself stone up. He’s frozen.
What does he say to this? Oh, Alex is being too close to Logan. I hate it.
God he hates how pretentious he sounds. He absolutely despises how his jealousy makes him think of things he would never think about.
“Nothing. Just a little stressed.” Oscar shrugs.
“You’re such a bad liar.” Lando scoffs, “When you’re stressed, you make that face,” Lando does some weird imitation of the face, “But you’re not doing it right now.”
Oscar lets out a huge sigh.
“Oh… It’s a big thing.” Lando asks.
Oscar nods.
“Big big thing.” Lando adds on.
Oscar nods even more intensely.
“Wanna talk about it?” Lando asks.
Oscar nods his head slowly.
“Okay go ahead.”
“You know the Williams drivers?”
Lando nods.
“You know how Logan and I are… like childhood friends.”
Lando nods again.
“Well, that should be me. I think it should be me and Logan instead.”
“So you’re jealous?” Lando raises his eyebrow.
Oscar flinches, it’s that word again.
He nods intently, “I hate it but it’s taking over me.”
“I think you’re just… slightly pissed at the fact that you’re not friends with Logan.”
“Mhm.”
“So… go make friends with him.”
“Will he even remember me?”
“Dumb question.”
“Will he want to make friends with me? I left him on read for… basically a whole year.”
“Never know if you don’t try.”
Their conversation gets cut short when their meeting has to start.
It’s a pretty productive meeting but the moment it ends, Oscar and Lando look at each other and Lando signals toward the door. That gives Oscar some stupid rush of confidence and he sprints toward the door, running out.
“Someone is excited for the sprint.” Lando says as Oscar dashes out the room.
Oscar finds his way to the Williams garage, which takes him an embarrassing amount of time. He stands outside the garage, looking up at a wall plastered with Logan’s face. It’s definitely less well designed than McLaren’s one but Logan looks amazing anyway.
He slowly makes his way into the garage, walking past an engineer and getting a few weird stares.
“I’m sorry. Do you know where… Logan is?” Oscar quietly asks one of the engineers.
“Oscar?”
Oscar hears the all-familiar voice and turns around.
He’s met face to face with the blonde-haired, blue-eyed American.
“Logan!”

lost in your eyes (OP81 x LS2)
oscar stares into logan’s eyes (but in a cute fluffy way) w/c: 653 day 25 of loscar posts until we get a loscar podium !!!!! (series masterlist) masterlist
Oscar would never admit that he liked staring into people’s eyes, specifically Logan’s. That was mostly because it was embarrassing and made him look weird, and the last thing he wanted was to lose a friend because of his weird obsession with eyes.
He sat close to Logan. Logan was doing some random media video so he was focused on whatever he had to do. This gave Oscar a rare opportunity to stare.
He stared into Logan’s eyes. His stare was intense. That wasn’t Oscar’s fault, who asked Logan to have blue eyes, or green if he stared harder. Oscar loved it, he loved the blue-green eyes.
Oscar took a little too long to realise Logan had seen him staring blankly. By the time Oscar realised, Logan was pretty much 3 steps away from Oscar.
Oscar sat up straight, focusing up and clearing his throat as Logan approached him.
“Hi Osc.” Logan greets and Oscar waves.
“Hello.” Oscar says, “How’s your media going?”
“Alright, just finished up.” Logan smiles.
Oscar resists the urge to stare into Logan’s eyes, which look more blue when they’re in the sun. He doesn’t know why Logan wears caps so much, it casts a black shade onto his face and his eyes can’t be seen.
“Cool…” Oscar replies.
“I saw you staring.” Logan chuckles.
“Me? Staring? NAH. NO WAY.” Oscar laughs awkwardly. He knows he’s messed up but he’s not going to risk it.
“Sure?” Logan raises his eyebrow.
“Yea- YEA I was… uhm staring at your little game. That’s right, the silly little game.” Oscar lets out awkward huffs of laughter.
“Right… It was pretty stupid, huh?” Logan adjusts his shirt and looks up.
Oscar can feel his legs grow weak as the sun rays shoot directly into Logan’s eyes and make his eyes glow some gorgeous looking blue colour.
Almost instantly, Logan covers his face with his hand to block the sunlight.
Logan groans, “This sun is going to get the better of me, I swear.”
“Really? I mean yea.” Oscar clears his throat to buy more time for himself, “It’s hot… huh? But I mean the sun’s got its bright sides too…”
“Was that supposed to be a joke?” Logan says as he shifts himself to be standing next to Oscar so the sun doesn’t blast directly into his eyes.
“Yes- wait, no. Was it? I don’t know.” Oscar sputters out in chunks of clearly unthought-through words.
“You’re talking funny Osc.” Logan chuckles.
Oscar turns his head slightly and looks at Logan again, but this time from a like a 3/4 profile. It was more beautiful than ever. Oscar couldn’t stop staring, his eyes were quite literally shining.
Oscar feels like he’s on some ecstasy high.
“Osc. You’re staring… again.” Logan says.
Oscar doesn’t fully process Logan’s words and just nods, “Mhm…”
“That’s all you gotta say?” Logan chuckles slightly.
“Your eyes are pretty.” Oscar blurts out before slapping his mouth.
Shit. What did he just say?
Oscar panics, he isn’t supposed to tell anyone about this.
Logan raises an eyebrow.
“No- Not like in a weird way. It’s just- uhm… I don’t know, they’re glowing right? You get me!” Oscar rambles.
“No… not really.” Logan shakes his head, “But I get why you wanna stare.”
Logan shrugs, flashing a smirk toward Oscar.
Of course Logan had to make a sassy remark.
Oscar awkwardly laughs.
Logan turns his head to face Oscar. Their eyes meet.
For the first time, Oscar’s staring into Logan’s eyes without it being from afar with stolen glances or discreetly staring.
Logan smirks.
Oscar’s in heaven. He’s in paradise.
“Your eyes are gorgeous, you know?” Oscar says.
“I know. Yours are too.” Logan replies.
Oscar’s flattered, he looks down but doesn’t take long before he’s looking back into Logan’s eyes.
They stay like that for a while and honestly, Oscar doesn’t care.
Logan’s eyes are beautiful. They’re breath-taking, they’re stunning.

oscar’s laugh (OP81 x LS2)
logan misses oscar even more w/c: 405 day 24 of loscar posts until we get a loscar podium (series masterlist) masterlist
The cold winds brush against the soft skin of Logan Sargeant. The street lights are the only thing illuminating the pavement ahead, Logan’s walking back from the party on his own. Everyone else had gone back with their friends in cars but Logan didn’t really have anyone, so he walked back alone.
One of the lights flicker before completely popping, the light dying off slowly, leaving a dark hole in the illuminated path. Logan keeps walking, his hands stuffed deep into his pockets and his hoodie swung over his head.
It’s a sad sight.
He looks across the street and sees Oscar and Lando, because God forbid he have a good time. They’re having a really great time, sitting on a bench, laughing and chatting. Logan feels a sting in his heart.
He quickens his pace and walks past them, but all he hears in his ears are Oscar’s laugh. Oscar’s laugh… the laugh which at one point, only Logan was able to hear. The most genuine, gorgeous, golden laugh. A perfect laugh, if he dare say.
Those days were over.
Now that laugh was reserved for Lando Norris. Perfect little Lando.
He speeds up, almost quickening into a jog. He walks away, not looking back but the laugh of Oscar still ringing in his ears.
He can’t seem to shake it out of his ears, they keep repeating in his ears like a constant buzzing. It used to be like music but now it was more of an intense, haunting sound.
Logan hates it.
He hates every single part of it.
He hates how he used to be Oscar’s one and only.
He hates how he failed to hold them together.
He hates how he could barely keep up with Oscar once they were in F1.
He hates it all.
They were all like regrets piling up onto the everlasting guilt that Logan carries everywhere.
He wants to talk to Oscar again. He wants to laugh with Oscar again. He wants to be friends with Oscar again.
But he knows he can’t.
Because Oscar has someone else, someone far better.
Logan hates that.
He used to be the perfect one for Oscar and now he was a second choice. Hell, not even a second choice. The last choice, dead last, a final resort if Oscar had no one else.
Logan’s tears start trickling down. He wipes them off quickly. It’s too early to cry.

i’ll never forget you (LS2 x OP81)
the voices get stronger. w/c: 787 day 22 of LOSCAR POSTS until we get a LOSCAR PODIUM (series masterlist) masterlist part 2 of "changed"
It all came crashing down, falling apart at the seams. Thunder came rumbling and the dark days settled in.
Logan can’t believe it, everything doesn’t make sense. He wants to convince himself he’s in a nightmare and he’d wake up for everything to be okay again. He wants to go back to where everything was alright and it all made sense for him.
How did him and Oscar go from deep late night talks to one-sided stolen glances? Logan can’t believe how much things have changed and he doesn’t want to believe things have changed this much.
He wants it all to go back to normal and for Oscar to smile at him again.
-----
Logan sits down in his driver’s room, leaning against the hard walls. It’s just him and his thoughts. They’re haunting, to say the least.
He racks his brain trying to figure out where it all went wrong and what he did wrong for Oscar to not even acknowledge him.
“Hi.” Logan says, raising his hand slightly to wave.
“Hello Logan.” Oscar says as he pats Logan on the shoulder, “How have you been?”
“Alright. I saw your lap time, was pretty good, huh.” Logan says, trying to sound less awkward.
“Yea,” Oscar says as he chuckles slightly, “I saw your driving style today, I see you tried something different yea?”
“Mhm…”
Logan is about to continue before Lando slots himself into their conversation.
“Hi fellas!” Lando says energetically.
“Hey Lando.” Oscar says as Lando sets himself in between Logan and Oscar.
Oscar eventually turns his focus to Lando which effectively cuts Logan off from the conversation.
Logan subtly excuses himself and slides back to Alex’s side since it’s pretty much the only way he won’t be excluded at this point.
Right…
He hates remembering that moment. The crystal clear, shiny, diamond-like memory that resurfaces every single time he feels left out.
Because he isn’t the first choice when it comes to Oscar, he isn’t anymore. Sure he used to be the first choice but not anymore, he got replaced quickly with someone even better, with someone Logan couldn’t even be half of.
Lando Norris.
He doesn’t hate Lando, he can’t but it stings hard every single time he remembers Oscar choosing Lando over him.
Logan: are you free tomorrow night or something? for our monthly meetup :) Oscar: mate i’m sorry lando and i have something up Logan: oh it’s okay Oscar: we can schedule something next month alright Logan: okay
It strikes like a dagger to the chest, twisting with every second moving forward.
Logan sits on the bench in his drivers room, fiddling with his shirt before picking up his phone and opening Instagram.
And as if he couldn’t have any good moments, the first video that pops up is a McLaren video. Specifically the McLaren video he saw Oscar and Lando filming.
He reloads the page instantly and closes the app.
His hands clutch tightly onto his phone as he feels his stomach tie itself into a knot.
He doesn’t know what consumes him but something makes him open his messages and scroll down to Oscar’s contact. He glances at it for a few seconds before clicking onto it.
The last message was aeons ago. He doesn’t know what he intends to do with this but he stares at it blankly.
His fingers hover over the keyboard, but he doesn’t type anything.
He scrolls up, all the way up to their old messages. Their happier days.
His phone lags slightly from loading all the messages but he eventually gets to those days where they messages hourly, updating each other on the most irrelevant things that happened to them.
He never thought it would end.
But here he was, crying in his driver’s room reminiscing about those days.
A tear drops onto his phone screen and he wipes it off quickly but it leaves a stain. A stain on the phone screen, a stain over the words “never” in the text message “I’ll never forget you”
I’ll forget you.
It’s like the universe’s largest sign thrown onto Logan’s face.
He can’t do this any longer. He breaks out into sobs. He hates his life right now.
He sends a punch into the bench’s cushions and cries even more.
The voices in his head repeat how he’s a failure, an outcast, a disappointment. They replay flashbacks of Logan and Oscar’s relationship falling apart, like a sick horror film on repeat. They shout endlessly into Logan’s ears about how he messed up and it’s his fault.
There’s a reason Oscar doesn’t talk to you anymore.
Everyone hates you to their guts, everyone.
You are a disappointment.
People don’t like you.
You’re an outcast.
Failure.

sunset (LN4 x Reader)
looking at the sunset Lando Norris x Reader w/c: 412 also reader is taller than lando masterlist
The view is breathtaking, and the sunset glows a gentle orange. Crowds lean against the railings, taking photos of the sunset or kissing in the evening rays.
Lando held your hand tightly as he admired the sunset. He was mesmerised, to say the least, almost hypnotised at this point.
He clutched onto your hand as he looked into the sun.
“Penny for your thoughts?” You ask him, shaking his hand a little.
“Just thinking of you.” Lando replies as he looks you in the eyes and smiles.
“Aww. When I see the sun, I think of you too.” You say.
He chuckles softly and swings his arm around your waist, pulling you closer in.
“Because you glow just as bright as the sun.” You continue, letting Lando soak it all in.
“It reminds me of you because I love the sunset.” Lando says.
“But like… you love me more right…” You cheekily ask.
Lando nods subtly and runs his hand through your hair.
“You look gorgeous.” Lando says before tiptoeing to planting a kiss on your forehead.
“You too Lan.” You say, returning the favour by planting a kiss on the top of his head.
“Let’s take a photo!” Lando says as he pulls out his camera, “Stand there!”
You chuckle and walk over the railing, leaning on it and looking into the sunset.
You hear a few clicks of the camera.
You turn around and Lando’s looking through the photos, he jogs toward you and stands next to you, showing you the photos.
“You look good, as always.” Lando says before he flashes another smile at you. The smile looks absolutely beautiful and you almost forget to respond.
“Yea… I should take one of you.” You suggest and Lando passes his camera to you.
You take a few steps back and snap a few photos of Lando before showing it to him.
“You’re amazing at this!” Lando cheers and pats your back.
“Thank you, but you’re better… as always.” You say which earns you another soft chuckle.
“One more. Both of us.” Lando says.
You agree and Lando hands his camera over to Max, who takes a few photos of you two.
They look breathtaking. Not just the scenery, Lando too. His smile and his hand placements, swinging over your waist and pulling you in closer. Everything about him made you giggle and kick your feet.
He kisses you again but this time on the lips and you return the kiss.

comfort. (LS2 x OP81)
logan knows something is up with oscar. w/c: 470 day 20/21 of loscar posts until we get a LOSCAR PODIUM(series masterlist) masterlist
“I’m fine.” Oscar says.
“Clearly not.” Logan replies.
Oscar tries to close the door but Logan stops it before inviting himself in. Oscar sighs but doesn’t fight back.
“You’re clearly not doing okay.” Logan paces around Oscar’s room.
“What are you even doing here?” Oscar subtly rolls his eyes, “Don’t you have… data to analyse or anything?”
“Already did.” Logan says.
“And? Still doesn’t answer why you’re here.” Oscar says, his tone comes out harsher than expected and the sarcasm striking ever so sharply but he’s too tired to care.
“I wanted to check up on you.” Logan says.
“And I told you I was fine… perfectly fine.” Oscar feels the words get trapped at his throat.
“Sure?” Logan asks.
“Yes. One… one hundred percent.” The words choke up even more.
“Because Lando told me you’ve been acting weird.” Logan pushes further.
“Oh… so this is what it is?” Oscar can feel a scoff escape as he smirks, “It’s all just about McLaren wanting the best from me.”
“First off, no, I’m here because I am concerned. Second, how did you even come to that conclusion?” Logan rambles, doing his best to extend this conversation.
“Maybe it’s because you aren’t exposed yet, but it’s clear McLaren prompted Lando to tell you that and then for you to check up on me to see if there was a problem.” Oscar rants, the words just spilling out, “And if there was, if they couldn’t fix it I would be gone within an instant. There, boom, snap of a finger I’m gone.”
Logan hesitates to respond.
An awkward few seconds of silence follows.
“I’m tired.” Oscar says, running his hands through his hair.
Logan nods, “Okay…”
Oscar can feel his legs grow numb so he sits down on the edge of his bed, his hands cupping his face and his elbows resting on his legs.
Logan quickly sits himself down next to Oscar.
“This is really tiring.” Oscar reiterates as he lifts his head up, “I don’t even know anymore.”
“I get it.” Logan shrugs before turning to look Oscar in his eyes.
Oscar looked back at Logan, he looked directly into his blue-green-grey eyes, he didn’t really care what colour it was, it gave him comfort and that’s all that mattered.
“You do?” Oscar asks, his voice shaking slightly.
“Well… duh.” Logan replies, placing his hand on Oscar’s shoulder.
Oscar feels his head slowly falling onto Logan’s shoulder and Logan just lets it fall, no resistance whatsoever.
It’s comforting. Oscar shifts closer to Logan. He can’t remember the last time he felt this level of safety with someone.
“Please don’t tell.” Oscar says, almost pleading.
“I won’t, swear on my heart.” Logan says as he pat’s Oscar’s back.
“Stay for the night. Just for tonight.” Oscar asks, his voice soft.
“Of course.”

much needed hug (LS2 x OP81)
logan seriously needs a hug, guess who gives him one? w/c: 304 day 19 of loscar posts until we get a loscar podium!! (series masterlist) masterlist
Logan stuck his hands into the pockets of his jacket, brisk walking away from the restaurant. His head was down and he took quick steps. He tries his best to contain the tears that threaten to spill.
“Logan!” A voice calls from behind and Logan already knows who it was.
Logan ignores him and quickens his pace, but he can hear the voice getting closer before a hand lays on Logan’s shoulder. Logan spins around and stands face to face with Oscar.
“Logan! I was looking everywhere for you man-” Oscar says as he catches his breath.
Logan doesn’t respond, staring blankly into Oscar’s eyes.
“You didn’t tell me you were leaving.” Oscar holds onto Logan’s shoulder.
Logan feels guilty for storming off with no explanation, he really does but he’s unable to say anything to Oscar, so all he does is lower his head.
“I thought we were gonna go back together-” Oscar says before cutting himself off, he sighs, “What happened Logan?”
Logan simply shakes his head and looks up into the sky, hoping somehow that will contain the tears.
All of a sudden, Oscar’s arms wrap around Logan. The cold disappears, the freezing winds fade away and all Logan feels is warmth. It’s like sitting next to the fireplace on a winter morning.
Logan hugs back, leaning his head on Oscar’s shoulder. Oscar doesn’t let go and continues holding on.
“Sorry…” Logan whispers and Oscar pats Logan’s back.
“Don’t apologise mate. I should be apologising, seriously.” Oscar assures as he hugs Logan just slightly tighter.
They both take a step back and exchange a glance before Oscar swings his arms over Logan, leading him to his car.
“C’mon, let’s go. Don’t want you walking in this cold weather.” Oscar says.
Logan nods before moving just a little bit closer to Oscar.

oscar jack piastri (LS2 x OP81)
maybe everything is not gone w/c: 569 day 18 of loscar posts until we get a loscar podium!! (series masterlist) masterlist
Someone walks into Logan’s driver room while he’s deep in thought, which abruptly interrupts him
Logan doesn’t want to, he wants to continue his list but the look on the man’s face means it really isn’t a choice. He nods and follows the man out.
He follows the man out to join the rest of the drivers, who to no one's surprise, are interacting. The atmosphere is loud and bustling, in sharp contrast to what Logan is feeling right now.
The man leaves Logan and walks off. He doesn’t know if that’s good or bad, since he’s standing alone in a crowded room full of drivers who would rather eat dead mice than initiate a conversation with him.
He shuffles his feet awkwardly, and fiddles with his shirt to make himself busy. It’s killing him internally. He takes a few steps forward to join the crowd of drivers, hoping that they’d somehow include him in.
He feels a gentle tap on his shoulder and he turns around.
Oscar Jack Piastri.
“Hi.” Oscar says, keeping his polite smile.
“Hello. ‘scar.” He replies, unintentionally chewing up the ‘O’ somewhere.
It makes Oscar chuckle slightly, who placed his arm on Logan’s shoulder. He leans in to talk to Logan, also pulling Logan into his personal space.
The body language, the words, the smile, everything just didn’t feel real. The last time they did this was 2 years ago, and then now, all of a sudden, it’s happening again.
“We saw your straight speed and we were like holy fuck-” Oscar says as he dramatises his words, using an unreal amount of gestures to get his point across.
Logan can’t help but laugh, not the kind of laugh he gives an interviewer or the kind of laugh he fakes when he needs to, the actual kind of laugh. The one he usually only does in private.
Logan did not expect that laugh from him, and clearly neither does Oscar. There’s an awkward moment of tension between the two former friends before Oscar breaks the silence and continues talking about something completely unrelated.
It’s nostalgic, these were the kinds of conversations they used to have and now, out of the blue, Oscar was doing it again.
“I heard your interview.” Oscar says, turning to face Logan. They lock eyes before Oscar continues, “I think we should talk more often.”
It takes Logan a hot minute to remember which interview it was. The one where he talked about him and Oscar for 7 straight minutes.
“Uhm… I mean, yea, sure.” Logan says, shrugging slightly. He regrets it instantly.
“Right, so talk more often yea?” Oscar nods.
Logan replies with a nod, “Deal.”
Oscar pats Logan on the back, “So! What have you been up to? Little bit of everything, no?”
Logan feels another natural chuckle escape. This time he doesn’t think it’s weird or awkward, he lets it out just fine.
Something about this just felt so right, he couldn’t exactly pinpoint it. In fact, he could probably never pinpoint what made talking to Oscar feel so good but it did and that’s all that mattered.
He missed Oscar. He missed Oscar a lot.
It was a first step, albeit, a weird first step. Better than nothing, if Logan was being honest.
It’s been a while since they last talked but surely things can change. They talk again. They laugh again. They’ll be friends again.
