What would Krueger do if Nikto hypothetically died?

I answered a very similar ask here.

I assume that you mean Nikto dies in active service… The long and short of it is basically that Krueger would just… vanish. Stashing some things that remind him of Nikto with Blaustein, who would be understanding and keep them safe for him. He would stay with Blaustein for a bit and then just leave and live his nomadic life again. Visits, longer ones when he is feeling particularly attached. In my hc, he used to go to church with Nikto on the 6th of January (Orthodox Christmas), so he makes sure to be in Poloski/Nikto’s bunker around that time of the year, going to service. Not because either of them were religious towards the end but because it makes him think of Nikto. If he has a new lover at that point, he will not tell them where he is going or why.

The bunker is his now, but even though Nikto was attached to it, Krueger isn’t really. It still hurts him to see it fall into disrepair whenever he is there, but it is also his way of grieving. Each year, there is more mould, the air is worse and bit by bit, all the systems keeping the thing up and “running” start failing.

When it is bad enough that he can not step foot in there anymore, he quietly abandons the idea of sleeping there and brings a tent. He doesn’t sleep on top of it, but he migrates into the surrounding forests where they used to camp and hunt sometimes. The first year he does this is a hard one. I could see this event putting stress on whatever relationship(-s) he had built at that point, tbh.

But for the rest of the year… he just doesn’t show it. He thinks of Nikto plenty. When he wakes up in the middle of the night and takes an evening smoke. When he is in some far away part of the world and hears random bits of Russian. When he checks in with Nikodim once or twice a year. When he thinks of a joke Nikto would have loved but now there is no one sharing that particular brand of humor.

Between niktos partners, Nikodim is more emotional at first, but in the long run, he adjusts better, leaving it behind. Realistically, him and Nikto were never meant to last. It becomes this weird thing he did in his 20s, something that ended violently and abruptly and left him to stand on his own feet all of a sudden.

To sum it up, Krueger still functions and moves on. But he is way more lonely. He misses something that made him whole and I think it takes a long time until he ceases to compare everyone to Nikto and their relationship. Until he realizes (and internalizes) that “different” doesn’t necessarily mean “worse”.

All of this would be a tad different when Nikto dies of old age and Krueger survives him. There will be a lot more peace and acceptance, especially if Nikto dies at night and he wakes up next to him and can easily get in another snuggle and some peaceful goodbye. In this case, I see him actually maintaining the bunker. Nikto would probably get buried near it, illegally that is. He would pay a pastor to do the honors and keep it hush hush. Nikto would have thought of it as funny, so its fine with Krueger. If Nikto dies of old age, Krueger wouldn’t search for anyone new. What happens happens, but out there, chances are slim. He is unused to living alone since he never had his own place but it still feels like Nikto’s. Like he is just on a trip and soon to come back home.

Its kind of sad to think that if Krueger dies in that scenario, no one would find him. For a long time. He desnt have friends nearby and it would be some time until someone notices that he is missing since he sometimes just stops texting for a few weeks. Maybe no one finds him because he never told anyone about the location of the bunker. I think, it wouldn’t even bother him that much. What does it matter is he is buried?

Nikto is close anyways.

And that’s pretty much all that matters.

I've been resource gathering for YEARS so now I am going to share my dragons hoard

Floorplanner. Design and furnish a house for you to use for having a consistent background in your comic or anything! Free, you need an account, easy to use, and you can save multiple houses.

Comparing Heights. Input the heights of characters to see what the different is between them. Great for keeping consistency. Free.

Magma. Draw online with friends in real time. Great for practice or hanging out. Free, paid plan available, account preferred.

Smithsonian Open Access. Loads of free images. Free.

SketchDaily. Lots of pose references, massive library, is set on a timer so you can practice quick figure drawing. Free.

SculptGL. A sculpting tool which I am yet to master, but you should be able to make whatever 3d object you like with it. free.

Pexels. Free stock images. And the search engine is actually pretty good at pulling up what you want.

Figurosity. Great pose references, diverse body types, lots of "how to draw" videos directly on the site, the models are 3d and you can rotate the angle, but you can't make custom poses or edit body proportions. Free, account option, paid plans available.

Line of Action. More drawing references, this one also has a focus on expressions, hands/feet, animals, landscapes. Free.

Animal Photo. You pose a 3d skull model and select an animal species, and they give you a bunch of photo references for that animal at that angle. Super handy. Free.

Height Weight Chart. You ever see an OC listed as having a certain weight but then they look Wildly different than the number suggests? Well here's a site to avoid that! It shows real people at different weights and heights to give you a better idea of what these abstract numbers all look like. Free to use.

They are at the bases gym, still in that passive aggressive “we will, but there will be bodies in the street” phase of their courting process. Krueger goes around the corner to do some rowing and once he comes back and leaves the gym, Nikto goes there as well, intend on doing his latissimus a favor. Just to find this.

So he stands there and stares, torn between licking off the bench and marching after Krueger, licking him clean because for fucks sake, this man is brazen and Nikto has always been hungry and nasty.

But in the end, he just leaves the gym to take care of his hot blood.

Rest assured that Nikto precisely matches his workout times to Krueger’s from then on out…

Do you have any headcanons on the Bale twins :3?

Ohhh I am so sorry, but not really, tbh.

I can only say that I believe that both of them are majorly weirded out by Krueger. They look at him just like others look at a diseased rat that just crawled out of their toilet and is now slowly dying on the bathroom rug. “This is not a problem to me, but whoever gets to close has a major health emergency coming up”. BUT they don’t really like Nikto either, so… they let him handle the rat. Taking one for the team, so to speak.

They both REALLY like Nikodim tho. Dimitry has a fatherly role with him while Maxim has a more “hands off” approach. Both don’t approve of Nikodim’s relationship with Nikto (and by extension Krueger) but what are they supposed to do? They try to let him be an adult and do his thing.

What else… hm, Maxim skips leg days. He likes to train arms. You find him doing free-weight bicep curls, all day, every day. That’s his thing. (Also brachialis and tricep. But just to make his bicep pop, lol.)

I like that in the cod game, they reuse tattoo designs and I don’t put any weight on it, but… he shares a tattoo with both Krueger (pretty sure) and Nikodim (uncertain). From left to right: Maxims Tattoos, Nikodim’s snake tattoo, the art book depiction of Krueger’s belly tattoo (loving it).

If Nikodim is already crumbling under Nikto's overpowering and considering that he is already a bit old, what would happen if Nikto were younger? I'm sure they're destroying all his holes, poor thing 😔

Tbh, Nikto in his twenties was a disaster to be around, especially in the interrim between his capture/torture and his decision to go private in his career. Violent, often high, probably acts as if he is not fully aware of the need for condoms. NOT able to give up control in any way. So… Nikodim can lie down, shut his mouth and pull down his pants and that is. I don’t think Nikto will talk or share anything, its only quick sex. But deep down, he craves connection and someone to hold onto. Someone to take care of him because he himself can’t.

So. Poor Nikodim would probably feel incredibly bad after sex because he would be tossed aside like trash. That is despite the physical act being great (man can have multiple orgasms… Nikto is jealous) but he has to touch himself because that idiot is sure as hell not gonna do it.

So… getting fucked like a beast is in, but emotional intimacy? No way.

Personally, I think that its good that they met later in Nikto’s life, after Nikto has Krueger, who does a lot of “caretaker duties” for Nikto. It enables him to concentrate all the normal “kindness” he is capable of onto Nikodim, who needs it.
