Stretch Goals!

We have two stretch goals in place for the Until Dawn 10th Anniversary Zine! If a certain number of physical orders (orders with physical goods) are sold, then we will be able to provide these additional merch items!

Note: Only orders with physical merch are eligible to receive these merch items, these are noted the the shop's product descriptions.

At 30 physical orders we will add a 2.5 x 2.5" (6.35 x 6.35 cm) Brushed Aluminum Sticker!

At 60 physical orders we will upgrade the double sided bookmark into a Lenticular Bookmark!

We will keep you updated as we unlock these stretch goals!

This is a non-profit charity zine made to celebrate Until Dawn's 10th Anniversary on August 25th! Featuring art and fanfiction from 30 different fans. All profits for the zine will be going to NiGiNan Housing Ventures, an Alberta-based and Indigenized charity who provide housing and healthcare to individuals with complex needs, focused on building community, reconnecting to culture, and healing.

out of curiosity (roughly) how many people are participating?

As of right now, the number of sign-ups is sitting in the mid-thirties! :)

This number may fluctuate a bit after sign-ups close, but in the past, we typically hit around 30ish, so this is pretty consistent with that!

I myself headcannon Jess being a bleached blonde….. maybe Sam is one of the only ones in the group that knows and keeps her secret, mostly from the boys (maybe even helps her dye it??)

She reached for the latch as the trapdoor continued to bang against its hinge. Her fingers shook so badly they missed the first time, but the sound of Jess’s weeping—her weak, desperate pleading—goaded her on to keep trying. Dumb. Dumb, dumb, dumb, her awful inner voice jeered, sounding suddenly like Mike now that the others had been pushed to the side. How many times do you need to hear a guy say someone’s dead before you listen? Here, I’ll say it again, just in case the millionth time’s the charm, okay? Ahem. Jessica is FUCKING DEAD! She couldn’t believe that. She wouldn’t. Not when she so clearly heard her calling for help. Besides, since when had she ever put any faith in what Mike had to say? Maybe Hannah had been the one to make the mistake of trusting him, but Ashley had been the one to take the lesson to heart. She’d lived long enough to, anyway. Swallowing hard, she grabbed the lock. Unlatched it. Shut her eyes tight to gather what little courage she had left. Slid her fingers into the seam to pry it open.

...so...hi there, Med. Surprise! I wanted to thank you for putting this wonderful @untildawn-secretsanta exchange together and fostering such a feeling of togetherness and warmth during the holidays. I hope you don't mind that I took it upon myself to write a little something-something for the hc you shared about Jessica and Ashley's complicated relationship, and, even more than that, I hope I've done it justice!!! Thank you again, mwah mwah mwah!

I wrote ya a lovely little Sam character study in which she can be a little gross nasty, as a treat <3

When Samantha Giddings first befriended Hannah and, subsequently, Beth, she did not think she would be up at a podium giving a eulogy at their funeral when they all had just barely graduated high school.

As promised, here's my finished fic for @barrel-of-merry-aloe-vera for the @untildawn-secretsanta event!!! I ended up working with a mixture of platonic and romantic dynamics-- with emphasis on mike/jess and matt+jess post-canon, and the way these two dynamics interact! (there's also some snuck in Chris content!)

“Sounds like you’re in love.” Ashley decides over tea. “No,” Says Jess automatically, “It’s not like that.” Then, she thinks about it, and realizes quietly it really isn’t like that. Which is good, because she already has a boyfriend, but maybe the in-love theory would be easier to explain. “I just miss him all the time.” (Or: After the whirlwind events and losses of their night at Blackwood Lodge, Matt, Jess and Mike try and figure out where they stand with each other.)

Merry (belated) Christmas, @blitztheinkling! Here is your much anticipated gift in its entirety! This was a blast to work on, so I hope you enjoy it as well. :) Here's a little snippet of the fic, but you can read the rest on AO3 through the link below:

The ordeal started with no fanfare whatsoever. They were maybe ten minutes into the second leg of the hike. Chris was beginning to huff and puff again, but Sam barely noticed this time. Last night’s rain had made the moss as slippery as ice on the smooth rocks peppering this part of the trail, and footing was more treacherous than usual. Her visual check-ups on Chris grew more frequent, as she trusted his ability not to fall on his ass considerably less than she trusted her own. But by liberally stabbing the ground with his walking stick and putting all of his weight on it, he was actually managing fairly well. Until they got to a part of the trail that sloped steeply downward. Sam was focused on finding the next trustworthy rock to step on, when she heard an unassuming squeak followed by Chris’ breathless voice softly going, “Whoop!” That was it. That was Sam's only indication that something had gone wrong, but her spidey-sense was going off hard enough to make her turn around and see what happened.  The last thing she expected to find was nothing.  Literally nothing.  Chris was gone.

Merry Christmas, @blitztheinkling! I'm your Secret Santa. I'm one of the slackers who needed an extention, mostly because your gift has ended up running approximately double the minimum word count. Sorry!

Far be it from me to leave you empty-handed on posting day, though! Your gift is a fic containing some budding Chris/Sam, inspired by your headcanon, which I love, that Sam often takes Chris hiking in order to get him outside. This is their first time hiking together, and it goes... interestingly. Here's a sneak preview of what's to come.
