Soooooo here’s the deal. I’m really love writing , I’m quite good at it and really detailed but I just completely stump when it comes to inspiration and concepts and such. I write for Harry Potter and what I’m just basically saying is if people have any requests for anything Harry Potter I’ll write it????

Getting inspiration and the motivation to write is immensely (at least for me and most of the writers I know) but hey, if anyone has any requests, check this person's blog out! I personally am going through some intense writer's block and taking a break from writing for a while. To the user that was asking me for advice on Writing

Sorry to whoever you are, I accidentally deleted my answer oof and I dunno your username. But anyways....

Here’s what I wish someone told me when I first started out writing here on tumblr, what people think don’t really matter. You have to write for you and yes, there are those requests given by other users but everything is your choice to make. Your formation of words. If you think it’s a good written work, then it’s a good written work.

However, if you do feel that your lacking–that is totally fine. All writers go through a rough time when writing. You could always ask for advice or practical opinions and help from different writers. Don’t ever pressure yourself into making everything perfect because happy accidents are the best. I’ve had a handleful of Tumblr accounts sending me their work and asking for tips and it’s a great experience for both parties.

Your questions are what I kept asking myself before I began posting my stuff on tumblr. This isn’t going to be the best advice but I say just go for it because it’s what I did and it hasn’t failed me yet. Just write and post. You’ll get better and progress as the time goes on. You just have to trust yourself and your abilities.

Concerning people finding you from irl, I've never had anyone fine my account or know anyone who did since I've never revealed my face and more than my nickname here. So if you're worried about exposing yourself and wish to hide who you are to people you know, just seperate your personal life from your tumblr life. Stick to nicknames or make a new one (it's how I survive my stan twitter) and not post anything obvious that would lead them to you like photos of yourself.

A/N: I took the challenge to do both because I can’t choose between the loves of my life. ALSO JAMES NOR LILY WILL NOT MAKE AN APPEARANCE BECAUSE I’M A STUPID.

Word Count: 1.5k

“You’re supposed to add another bean.” Your words garnered a jump from the tall, lanky boy that had been assigned to be your potions partner. Remus glance between you and the instructions his potions book, confused by your statement. “What?”

“The Sopophorous beans.” Your head jerked towards the cauldron. “You should put thirteen in there.” 

“But the book says to only put twelve.” Remus argued, his finger highlighting the wrong instruction it was giving. He was one of the smartest student’s in your year and you knew that very well having been partners for a while, but Potions was your forte.

“I know. The book also told you to cut the bean and I’m very certain you were struggling to do so until I advised you to crush it instead.”  From behind you, Sirius and Peter were simultaneously listening to your conversation with their friend as they brewed their potion. Sirius swore he'd never seen Moony comply so quickly with not following instructions. He wanted to see for himself how you managed to rile his friend up.

The boy's gray irises watched you slide from the other side of Remus to the front of the couldron. You gave a small smile, pouring the thirteenth bean's juice into the concoction.

"I-I don't really think we should disregard the directions. I mean, that's why we have the book." Remus stammered.

"Trust me." You looked up at Remus with doe eyes, glinting in a mixture of confidence and amusement. It was funny how he was staring at you with his mouth agape and eyes wide.

"Did you really just do that?" He looked between you and the potion you were brewing, still in a state of shock.

"You'll thank me later." You said simply, placing the ladle onto his hand to let him stir.

"Or regret ever listening to you." Sirius quipped, gaining your attention. You turned your head towards his beaming smile, giving out a scoff at his boyish flamboyant attitude.

"If I were you, Black, I'd focus on my own business before mendling with others'-" Your eyes bore into his before landing on the couldron that was filling up with massive bubbles. "-You might want to fix that before you kill us all."

In a swift second, Sirius and Peter went to cover the cauldron and flailing their wands, attempting to fix the mess. Sirius yelled at Peter for not paying attention only for the shorter boy to protest that it was entirely Sirius’ fault for not brewing the potion correctly. This made you laugh, shaking your head at the two before turning back to your own table.

"Let’s see what we have here....” At the sound of Professor Slughorn’s voice, a shuffling of feet was garnered behind you causing Slughorn, Remus as well as you to take a quick glance behind to see Sirius and Peter smiling in feign innocence as they covered up their cauldron with their bodies in an awkward pose. 

“Interesting friends you got their, Remie.” You chuckled, watching Remus roll his eyes at them before turning back to the professor. 

“Still confident in your mastery of potions, Ms. (Y/L/N)?” Slughorn smiled at his favorite student. “I’m sure Remus was a good helpful hand as well?” 

“As always, Professor.” You nodded, smiling as he dropped the tiny leaf from his hands onto the black swirl. Those who were close by had been peering over to your table to see your work. They may or may not have thought it was unfair that you and Remus were paired together and this only amused you.

“Although, I’m not really sure she’ll stay confident after this.” Remus mumbled to himself. Failure on the other hand wasn’t new to him but he was still nervous on how this might turn out. 

His eyes shone with surprise at the fallen leave than began to disintegrate and began to feel relief wash through. Alright, he may or may not have misjudged you and felt a pang of guilt. The reassuring smile you gave him meant you had no ill feelings towards him despite already knowing how adamant he was on not following your guidelines. 

“Perfection!” Professor Slughorn announced, applauding your work. “20 points each.”

“I’m afraid I misjudged you, (Y/n).” Remus said once Slughorn moved onto Sirius and Peter’s table. You playfully nudged his shoulder, earning a cute exhale of breath from him. “It’s quite alright, Remus. Besides, I wouldn’t have perfected it without your gentle and precise stirring.” 

“Are you saying I have soft hands?” Remus squinted his eyes as if he were offended. 

“Soft as a marshmallow and the feathered pillow I sleep on at night.” You teased. 

Although, there was another reason why he didn’t want to follow your orders. Remus had taken a liking to you ever since you had proven yourself incredibly smart in all aspects of magic and was in the same level—actually even higher than he was. He found someone he could easily talk to about his favorite subjects and even on classic books he read. Another was the fact that you were kind and humorous despite your cocky attitude at times but he admired you nonetheless.

“Say (Y/n)?” He was just about to ask you to a date until the booming voice of his friend, Sirius caught both your attentions. 

“What more do you expect from two nerds mixed together?” Sirius joked once Slughorn moved to another table. 

“Lots of Chemistry?” Peter urged.

“Or a cause of mass destruction.” Sirius laughed as you tilted you head and leaned over their table to get into his face. 

“Wow. I’m so impressed at your lack of creativity, Sirius.” You puckered your lips to the side in a teasing manner. “Honestly, how long did it take for you to think of that?” 

You’d expect Sirius to retaliate as he always had done with instances with Professor McGonagall or Lucius Malfoy but to him, you were a masterpiece to watch. He loved it when you spat someone back at him. He loved the way your lips would tug into a smirk or your flirty lip bite and don’t even start on how confident you always held yourself. Sirius yearned for attention and one day he was going to make you his. 

Remus was giving an uneasy look towards the two of you while Peter only stared in awe at the long-time sexual tension.

“I love when you talk dirty to me.” He smiled, cheekily. This made you roll your eyes before standing back up. “We should get married.”

Here’s the thing though—you actually did find Sirius attractive as he prides that he always is. The boy was your first crush at the age of eleven and it never left, but at the same time you found Remus just as attractive and cute. After being assigned together on your prefect duties were a weekly tradition that you’d always find yourself waiting impatiently for them.

You still disregarded your feelings and went to grab your potions book. “Keep dreaming, Sirius.”

“I heard you were seeing Rodolphus Lestrange.” Despite the teasing sound of his voice, deep inside he was jealous at the spreading news of you and the Lestrange boy he despised were dating. 

“You aren’t really seeing him, right?” Remus joined in, leaning over to the other side of you.

Peter was casually watching the crossfire, unaware of what he could do at the moment.

Your eyes sparkled, glancing at both boys. “Wouldn’t you like to know?” and with that you sent the three of them a gentle wave and left the classroom.

Remus and Sirius watched you in awe before running out of the room to catch up to you. Before you could even reach to the other corner of the dungeons for Ancient Runes, you heard a mix of voices calling out your name and a shuffling of feet from behind you. You turned on your heels, smiling warily at the two panting boys you had wrapped around your finger moments ago.

“To what do I owe the pleasure, boys?” You quirked your eyebrow, expectantly. 

“Would you like to go out with me this weekend?” The brows on your face rose as Remus and Sirius shared a look of confusion. You felt overwhelmed not only by the question but the fact that they asked at the same time. 

“Well, this is fortuitous.” You let out a breathy laugh but deep inside you were having an inner battle. They stood awkwardly before you, glancing at each other every now and then. 

You’d always wondered whether or not they’d ask you out when the time came but you hadn’t expect them to ask you at the same time. You just assumed whoever asked you first would be the one you’d go out with but now you found yourself in a tight knot. 

But then again, the thought of having both wasn’t all that bad—but they didn’t need to know that.

“I’d love to.” You smiled at them. “I’ll see you this weekend.” 

A grin broke onto both their faces until they once again shared a look of confusion. Sirius squinted his eyes. “Wait-”

“-Who exactly are you referring to?” Remus finished, leaning on one foot to the other.

“You’ll figure it out.” Standing on your tiptoes, you kissed both of them on the cheek and left them to ponder over what you said. 

After all, you were one to be spontaneous.
