Submissions wanted for a new research zine revealing and comparing contemporary perceptions of 'Mother'. Calling for all work that interprets or is inspired by the role, definition, relationship or emotions relating to the 'Mother'. The work can be as abstract, challenging or spontaneous as you like.

All media that works in a 2D printed publication welcome (visual art, writing, poetry, photography, film stills etc.)

Submissions open to everyone. The purpose of the zine is to collect a survey of many diverse ideas around the topic, so work from all practices and perspectives are encouraged! I’d love to get work from people from different universities or different countries to compare many and varied viewpoints.

Judy Tadman’s Rope Sculptures

The creator of these beautiful large-scale rope sculptures. Tadman makes them using crocheting techniques. Do you feel like learning Judy’s technique?
