Happy Devil’s Night! The Crow is one of my favorite films of all time. When I was ten, I saw it twice in cinema in October of ‘94. Its violent aura of tragic melancholy resonated with me and I’ve been a Crow fan ever since. Even today, I constantly discover new details on re-watch.

Jurassic Park fanart: the ‘Main Road Attack’ and ‘You Bred Raptors’ scenes. I was 10 years old when I first saw this film in 1994 not long after it came out worldwide. By that time I was already hooked on dinosaurs for about a year.

Several characters from the 2001 cult-comedy "Wet Hot American Summer". Set in 1981, on the last day of summer camp, the film follows a group of teenagers and Camp Firewood employees who are each trying to complete their unfinished business before the day ends...

Easily one of my all-time favorite performers. I saw Iggy’s show live in Belgrade in 2008. His onstage passion, honesty and dedication have been a constant inspiration to me. The 1st pic is from 2018 and is a remake of Pop’s 1996 album cover. The 2nd one portrays Pop during his “later” phase - although one could easily argue the guy looks almost the same for about 15 years. The 3rd picture is from 2009 and portrays Iggy’s looks during the 1993-1994 “American Caesar” era. The last one is from 2020, drawn for Inktober.

Hordak, the leader of the Evil Horde was always my favorite character from the ‘80s classic Mattel’s toyline “Masters of the Universe”... The franchise was huge back in the day - even in socialist/moderately communist Yugoslavia... You couldn’t buy the original figures in Yugoslavia, but majority of our parents would travel abroad all the time anyways (Yugoslavia was not a part of Warsaw Pact and one could move freely) and would bring back the original toys with them. A domestic publisher bought the rights for Marvel’s comic book series which was translated and published monthly for two years (I still own every issue). It’s primarily through these comics that, for me, Hordak really became a cool character.

Art inspired by the reuniting line-up of horror-punk legends The Misfits. While working on my previous Misfits-related fan art, I had an idea to create a “fake” album artwork for an imaginary live record of the band’s last year’s historic Riot Fest appearance. While doing the “back cover”, it kind of got out of control as I was adding more and more detail... It was very fun, though! Love drawing Misfits, been doing that since high-school!

Both Gallagher bros. released their records in 2017... What initially drew me to Oasis (some 20 years ago) was primarily Noel’s songwriting style... Liam’s compositions for Oasis never did much for me (neither did Beady Eye later on) - those were good songs, but not even close to any of Noel’s shit. However, much to my surprise, tables have turned in 2017: Liam and his producers put out “As You Were”, a nice little record (out of its 15 songs I really didn’t like only one) while Noel and his producer released “Who Built the Moon” which I managed to listen to only two and a half times before losing interest (out of its 13, for Noel’s skills pretty average songs, I only really liked one). Never in my Oasis-loving life have I anticipated such drastic turn of events!

A tribute to Kontrabanda, a somewhat cult ex-Yugoslav underground rock band that was active during the 1990s as a part of the ‘90s “Brzi bendovi Srbije” (Fast Bands of Serbia) movement. The band, best known for its provocative brand of rock dubbed “porno voodoo rock’n’roll”, was founded by brothers Vladimir “Đenka” Radovanović (vocals) and Branislav “Bane” Radovanović (guitar, vocals) in the industrial town of Pančevo in 1991. By 1999 they had released two mostly well-received albums accompanied by effective music videos that went into heavy rotation at independent TV stations, but - as was the case with the majority of their contemporaries - Kontrabanda disintegrated as Serbia socially transitioned into the new millennium...

After 6 years, I recently held an art exhibition at Belgrade’s Student Cultural Center from June 1st till June 20th. I was showcasing my “best” stuff from 2012-2017. In order to prepare the exhibition I had spent about three months “updating” older stuff to fit in stylistically with the newer stuff, plus I had to design all the promo material and create a screening slideshow for a gallery TV that was a mini-exhibition itself. It was quite an exhausting experience and I am not doing it again anytime soon, although I gotta admit it was great to see so many friends and family in one place.
