apparently the biggest feature of this pack is the ability to create your own 'vacation worlds' and nah. i’m not clapping for ea packaging other people’s culture as an experience sims can 'visit'. that was already gross in sims 2 and in 2025 it’s just extractive, dehumanizing, colonizing, peak gringo behavior.

other people’s lives, cities, rituals, histories aren’t 'landmarks' for better-accommodated sims to consume between yoga mats and hot tubs. they’re not background noise for vacation gameplay. ea keeps choosing commodification over respect, and it shows.

and also: why not simply FUCKING go through with your word and refresh the four adventure packs we already have? jungle adventure, outdoor retreat, snowy escape, island living: they’re outdated, broken, shallow. don’t slap a new coat of paint on the same exploitative formula just because you ran out of ideas.

this isn’t depth, it’s exploitation.
