papyrusknight was supposed to be a fucking joke to me but then people started pointing out how the timeline (game's events kicking off around when papyrus both comes to town and disappears) and the aesthetics of the knight (deer AND skeleton, amalgamate-like) both make a little more sense if it is simultaneously dessknight and papyknight, in the same knight. im so mad about it. i didn't want to take it seriously. does sans know

i didn't want to care about kerdly but there's something about them that is so [losers (affectionate)] [compelling (derogatory)] that now i see it as the default kris ship. and i am certainly not willing to inflict berdly on anyone else. he is an enjoyable fella but i don't think any character besides kris has the mental fortitude to survive having the memory of dating someone like berdly in high school for the rest of their life.

i can't figure out how i feel about this. one of them is more or less the main perspective character but it's still somehow got the vibe of a pair the spares ship. it's fascinating. you've won, kerdly.

I hate DR Sans. He’s an asshole. He as a character in DR is a big part of why I’m not writing him being in a relationship with Toriel in my DR AUs. Sure, I want to soften the blow of trauma on Kris, because they’ll definitely go through some shit, but I also don’t think I can/want to write Sans being a dick.

In fact, I’d like to see more DR Sans bashing! I want to see people trashing him for everything he’s done! He sucks in DR!

lowkey i thought undertale yellow was really mid... i fully respect the effort that went into it, though, it's an extremely high quality fangame and i hope it's devs go on to make something original eventually

deltatraveler sucks though but i dont think it's dev deserves the crazy hate they got a while ago. not in a million years do i think its ok to harass someone for not having the best writing

This is more of a thing to the mods, but you probably shouldn't tag negative opinions on said ship with the main tag name. It's like making a post about how much you hate dogs and then putting it in the dog lovers tag

Noted. The initial intent is for filtering and sorting, but very easy to see how it comes across wrong. Putting "(Ship) Critical" without main ship tag didn't make sense for people filtering to avoid seeing a ship, but tagging it with the ship and putting it in the main tag without "critical" was stupid. Will do both now.

I'm a post-TP Asgoriel guy, have been since pretty much UT's launch, but with DR I'd be content with Toby to just get past the "divorced guy" jokes already. Hook him up with Rudy, have him become content with staying single, I don't care, just stop giving people delusions of being able to see the future because you've canonized a version of Asgore pulled straight out of some particularly spiteful 2016 Soriel fanfic.

I am massively sad that there are hardly any Undertale canon/AU roleplayers anymore and the ones that are still around are extremely private and refuse new interactions. Nowadays it is far easier to find a needle in a haystack than to find any that are open and not so private.

i was obssesed with a certain au when i was younger. I read every strip of text ever written by the creators, across multiple sites. I knew (and still know) the lore from the back of my hand. The art of it influenced my own art style and it’s story changed my way of dealing with tragic stories.

but it also has Frans in it. At the time i was indifferent towards the ship, but nowadays i really don’t like it. And this has been giving me such a dillema to myself bc i hate a core aspect of it, but i can’t find myself let go of such important part of my younger years. The fact that its a dying au and all the creators left the fandom also doesn’t help, since i’m one of the few who saved old deleted text and art…

These communities have some real FREAKS. I’d be very happy if we could all come together and not claim them. They’re like THOSE kinds of anime fans. You know the ones.

If they improve in their ways and admit where they went wrong, great. If they double down, then they can fuck off.

Can not tell if this is intended towards proshippers or antishippers due to the vagueness of the statement and behavior of fandom in general no matter what side. Not sure how to tag this one.

i think all the gaster stuff from the fandom is really funny bc there is no proof whatsoever he is a deltarune character. bro doesn’t even have a known appearance or dialogue…

i wonder how many people know stuff like “wd gaster = wing dings gaster”, “gaster is the waterfall mystery man”, and “gaster is related to sans and papyrus” is actually just really old fanon
