Kris and toriel make me feel so seen.

My relationship with my mom has been in a similar place before and im SOOOO happy to see some kind of representation for it.

Like yes!! I also had a struggling single mother who was loving and cared abt me but made MANY mistakes. Yes i was a kinda ashamed when my mom made those mistakes around others.

(Also like a ton of smaller things like my mom also being a teacher or me also being nonbinary lol)

Ive never known how to vocalize my situation but toriel and kris's story helps me not feel so alone in this. Everyone ik has either good or bad parents, and i like seeing another person in a VERY similar situation going through what i did!! So thank you Mr. Fox for makeing these guys the way you did. It makes me feel like im not alone.

(That being said though, i wont stand for toriel slander. Criticism is deserved, but dont flat out hate on her for this. Shes complex, not aweful. Give her some grace.)

people are so fucking quick to discount carolknight and are swinging so hard to dessknight as if it's canon and there aren't serious flaws to it too (code voice, dess being unable to get around in the light world, etc)

ALSO. people are being needlessly rude to former krisknighters about being wrong. especially when to be completely honest krisknight was basically right about everything else it's main conclusion was just incorrect. hell it's still not impossible for Kris to be a secondary knight if the "knighting" sprite is anything to go by . i was personally a seven days seven knights believer and like. y'all. the only people who have anything to stand by in terms of calling krisknighters wrong are like dessknight or carolknighters. 7d7k or alvin or papyrus or whatever else was objectively way more wrong than Krisknight, cool as the theories may have been. please get off ur high horse

i get genuinely upset when people make theories about undertale or deltarune when it’s clear that they aren’t as hyperfixated on it as i am. I’m autistic, and utdr has been my main special interest since deltarune chapter 2 came out. When people say things like “the knight is trapped in the dark world” it actually makes me upset because SUSIE SEES THE KNIGHT IN THE LIGHT WORLD FROM A DISTANCE!!! SHE AND KRIS CHASE IT THROUGH HOMETOWN TO THE SHELTER!!! I understand that the new chapters have just come out and the fandom hasn’t quite come to a stable consensus on what’s happening, but i’ve been doing my best to avoid spreading misinformed theories until i have all the evidence and i wish other people would do the same

I hate how people bash Asgore in Soriel content. I fucking hate it. Sure, Toriel and Asgore could possibly have a different relationship in Deltarune if things went differently (as we see Toriel actually wishing Asgore well a little in chapter 4). Being together in Undertale is a total loss, obviously, because Asgore went to war with humanity, and right after his son was killed, and Toriel just couldn’t take it anymore.

I also hate how people shit on others for having an opinion. FANFIC. EXISTS. AUs. EXIST. THEY. EXIST. FOR. A. REASON. If you trash someone for an AU where the war against humanity never happened and Toriel and Asgore were still together and Asriel and Chara were still alive, you’re going to look like an asshole.
