I just wanna deeply apologize even though you’ll probably say there’s no need for me to, but I’m going to.

I just hate that I’m always coming and going over and over again; that I can’t control when my body wants to flare up and I know there’s people waiting for me and I feel so guilty, because when they talk to me, it makes them happy, and I feel like I’m taking it away from them yk? I always stop at the worst times leave at the worst times.. and I hate that it’s always gonna be like that.

I’m sorry that it’s not going to be continuous and there’s always going to be breaks and what not. Constantly having my phone in my hands, has been taking a toll on them and I didn’t realize how painful that would be..for me at least.

Yes, I know health first, but regardless. 

This isn’t some petty post. This is me expressing that I enjoy doing it but I’m also sorry when I end up stopping for a certain amount of time. 

When my physical health and mental gets worse, it causes delays for people.

In general, I have to take a break from even holding my phone physically because I don’t know what the hell is happening with my hands and wrists, but it hurts like a fucking bitch.

Hell, I have to use the microphone on the keyboard to write all this. 

anyways, I just hope that y’all will stick with me and bare with me.

I will never forget being on tumblr from 2011 - 2015 and being in the supernatural role playing community. It was both one of the best, and worst experiences of my entire life. I role played as Dean Winchester (and actually my page is still up, and I might start up again) and had a fairly large following.

during 2011, the SPN rp community just started growing so I, among a few of my mun friends, were like the "It girls and guys". It's so insane to think about it now, 10+ years later. There were people out there who did not roleplay that would follow me, and reblog my threads just because they appreciated by writing ^.^ it was so sweet. Back to my memory lol.

Anyways, I made friends with a rper on here who ran a Castiel account. We very obviously shipped Dean & Cas, and so did a lot of people. People even shipped us xD we had a ship name and everything. This person became my best friend in real time.

I really really thought I knew this person. He told me everything, every part of his life, every heart break from some dumb guy, every accident he's ever made, etc. I saw him as not only a best friend but a brother.

around 2013, my life took a turn -- things got more serious for me, and I fell off from roleplaying for a bit, and we lost contact. I remember he just eventually stopped responding to my messages. This wasn't okay for me because before he ghosted me, he told me he was really sick. I was always worried that the last text I sent him was the last I'd ever hear from him.

Eventually he did respond to me, and I remember him saying, "I'm fine, I might just be gone for a while. It's not your fault" and that was that. Mind you, I was 10+ years younger, and I really felt devastated.

Several months later, I logged back onto my roleplaying account. I remember being spammed with asks and messages about him. One of our mutuals sent me a message saying he had passed away a month prior. She showed me the go fund me that was started for him to cover his funeral expenses. My heart was shattered.

The next year was spent of thinking about him almost every day. I felt so sorry that things ended the way they did, and that he was gone. I honestly felt grief that entire year.

In 2015, I get this intuitive 'nudge' to check my tumblr again. This time when I log in, I see appreciation posts about him, and all of those feelings come back. I remember trying to get back into rping in honor of him, and I remember coming across an account that seemed awfully familiar.

This was another castiel account, almost identical in text, aesthetic, vocabulary, even same psds. I just knew it was him. I can't tell you how, I just did. I remember thinking I was crazy and that this was grief... but, unfortunately, I was right.

Eventually, I gathered the nerve to reach out to this account. I cannot remember the name they gave me. But I talked to them, and I sort of played detective lol.

I deeply knew it was him and felt like it was so wrong that he lied about everything, had everyone upset, and took HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS from people who donated for his funeral.

One day, I was just tired of being nice. I approached him about it all. Of course he denied it. I badgered him about it though, and I even told him that what he is doing is illegal, and that he owes it to people who are mourning a very much alive person.

I didn't stop until he came forward.

He said, "I'm sorry, I had to do this to be with my boyfriend" and my jaw was on the freaking floor.

I told him to come forward, or I will have to do something about this.

Of course, he did not. Instead, he deleted his account. I tried to make a claim against him, but it was never looked into.

I will never forget that.

and if he's still out there, I hope he actually understands the weight of his actions. and I hope justice gets served.

Important thing to remember for people who interact with Roleplayers

Please do not rush them to reply. Sending multiple messages over and over won’t get a reply any faster ; even if it hurts your feelings, don’t take it personal

Sure send multiple of things you wanna say that’s fine, but if it’s genuinely to rush us, don’t do that.

If anything it makes us anxious; to be as fast as we can, busy or not so we don’t disappoint you.

Please be patient with us, we aren’t ignoring you.

The RPC is fucked up and it's our fault for letting toxic people join our communities and allowing them to misbehave, brushing it to the side thinking it will fix itself in the end. It hasn't. Then they cry wolf whenever their bad behaviors are pointed out. We should stop sympathizing with these toxic roleplayers, and start calling them what they are. Bad roleplayers. Start kicking these people out and stop forgiving them. They don't deserve it. They will destroy you, and whatever circles you are in. Whether that be in Discord RP Groups or Tumblr RP Groups. It starts with bubbling, it starts with these dick measuring contest, and these incessant needs to be the center of attention. Give them nothing. They deserve nothing until they can behave better. If they want to act like middle schoolers. Treat them like it.

Roleplay is where you act out your character in writing. You can use your own character or a cannon character which is from the story or show. It's basically like writing a story with a partner.

I Rp as Tommy Shelby mainly. I've rp him for 4 plus years. I actually rp since I was 18, so that makes it 13 years ive rp since I'm 31. I'm looking for someone to rp as an own character or a actual character from Peaky Blinders. I only do mxf role-plays. I write freestyle to literate. My discord is Oppie's Lady.

About the power imbalance: it’s not just about the number of followers/larger audience. It’s clear that John is/was the "leader" of the group. I mean, he could just kick Sherlock out without any problems. He seems to control the whole group. If you’re able to remove someone from a group and everyone goes along with it, then there’s obviously a toxic power imbalance. 

Mycroft went along with it when John announced he was breaking up with Sherlock, Harry too. Only Greg dared to say anything. That says a lot about the group dynamic. 

After Greg spoke up, Mycroft kicked him out and threatened him in the screenshots. The remaining mods, Mycroft and John, kick out anyone who doesn’t follow their orders or dares to speak up. This behavior looks incredibly toxic, as if they’re keeping everyone under control with an iron fist and threats. Why are those mods so scared of the other mods speaking up?

I think the remaining mods are afraid to speak because if they do, they’ll be kicked out and fall out of favor with John’s mod. It all sounds like John kicked Sherlock out because he couldn’t control him. John’s latest post tells the same story: John’s reasoning for kicking Sherlock out is that they had different views. This could mean that Sherlock didn’t do what John’s mod told him to do. So he sacked him and put someone in his place who’ll follow his orders. John’s mod seems to be a control freak, his tantrum in your comments suggests that. All that just screams power imbalance and bullying to me. Excluding someone from a group to demonstrate your power is the tactic of the school bully. It reminds me of high school drama. When someone’s ostracized by the main bully in a group and everyone else joins in because they’re scared. Or because they enjoy bullying the ostracized. Just like in high school. It wouldn’t surprise me if those mods are teenagers who now participate in typical high school bullying on Tumblr.

These are all good observations and theories.

We know that John and Mycroft are the same mod. And we suspect that Harriet, Mrs. Turner, the newest sherlock are all the same mod. And I am 97% sure they are also *****dis*******s**r* (if you can figure it out, congrats. I request you do nothing about it if you have).

I am also very certain these are all adults (no actual proof though). And it's entirely possible that the Harriet mod is a victim themselves. I've seen this happen over and over with the people I've worked with. These types of victims have trauma bonded with the abuser. But that's more of a loose theory.

Even so, abuse by trauma bonded victims is still not acceptable.
