Come celebrate Richmond's diverse music scene at the Valentine next Thursday, June 1! There will be music each Thursday night for the first three weeks of June. Thanks to the generous support of the E. Rhodes and Leona B. Carpenter Foundation, each concert offers free admission. Local food, craft beer and wine will be available for purchase. Many are surprised to see the restored Tomb of President James Monroe in Hollywood Cemetery has recently changed colors from black to ivory. You can see here that in an 1858 watercolor by Oswald Heinrich that the reliquary was cream. The Valentine's tours of Hollywood Cemetery start on April 1.
