Just as a heads up this blog and all my side blogs will become inactive as of next Sunday. Not for any terrible reason! The blogs will still be here but I will not be active. I'm leaving on a religious mission for a eighteen months and will not have access to Tumblr while I'm gone. But I'll be back in February 2024

making it its own post Nya and Wu are canonically BFF and it's so beautiful to me. She asks him for advice about her love life. He helps her make her silly robots. They gossip together on the regular. This is all canon.

It's very, very cute. I want them to have little BFF bracelets Nya got at a gas station. Nya has the side that says "best" and Wu has the side that says "friend." Pre season 5 if someone asks him who his favourite ninja is he says "I don't have a favourite Ninja" and that's because his favourite ninja is Samurai X.

I mean, if we really wanted comic book movies to be faithful to the source material, rather than spending $100 million on one movie, what you'd do is give $20 million each to five different directors, release all five resulting movies in theatres at the same time, and make sure that each movie's plot refers to the events of all the other movies' plots in such a way that whichever of the five movies you watch first will be entirely incomprehensible and every possible viewing order is wrong.
