So lately I’ve noticed all the different kinds of girls on tumblr. The ones that have the pictures with all the notes? These five types of girls are basically all the types of girls I see on my dash. Minus the nekked girls, but I didn’t really want to draw that so :T

made an actual ref sheet of them so i guess it's time to formally introduce this oc ^^ this is windy who as the name suggests, is the god of wind!! they're second out of the 4 individuals nightmare's sired children with, their daughter being narune. 🐑☁️🎐

some info under the cut i lied i just straight up wrote their entire backstory. info below the cut. longish post warning. ⬇️

one of the very few deities remaining from the time of the ancients/heroes of yore era, alongside nightmare and carrion. they and nightmare used to be buddies, but once nightmare ascended to godhood and went down the path of tyranny, he attempted to kill them as a means to eliminate any potential opposition/competition. while they survived, they were left understandably scarred, resulting in them fleeing throughout the cosmos and attempting to hide from their former friend.

for the next 1000 years, nightmare often went out in search of windy for the sole purpose of terrorizing them. windy, who used to be a fairly happy and naive deity, rightfully became quite paranoid, reclusive, flighty, and exhausted from the centuries of targeting, never knowing when nightmare would come looking for them next.

some 30+ years ago in the present timeline, windy fell pregnant (?) with nightmare's child through... unclear means of conception. probably a weird magic fluke he wasn't aware of, rather than actual direct reproduction (because that scenario would potentially have some bad implications). thanks to this, nightmare was entirely unaware of both windy's pregnancy and the daughter they eventually bore.

despite who her father was, narune brought a light windy didn't think they'd ever have again back into their life. they raised her the best they could considering their circumstances and did everything in their power to not only evade nightmare, but to also hide his daughter's existence from him so as not to put her in any more danger or be potentially used as a pawn against them. they lived on a rural planet, in an even more rural cottage some distance from town, to ensure they could give narune the most normal childhood possible while also staying under the radar.

considering their personal experience/familiarity with the wizard himself, windy had an extremely pessimistic view once the rising tensions between NME and the GSA rose and the possibility of war became more likely. while they knew the GSA and star warriors were a powerful force, they also knew they would inevitably exhaust themselves fighting against a force like nightmare, especially without divine help.

following the official declaration of galactic war between NME and the GSA, windy unfortunately had to send narune away to live/work in a circus theatre and flee back into the cosmos, having been given the heads up that nightmare was once again targeting any fellow deity that attempted to aid the star warriors/oppose his tyranny. if they did end up getting caught (and subsequently killed), they didn't want their daughter to be caught in the crossfire.

this understandably caused a lot of grief for both windy and narune, considering how close their bond was and how it'd always been just them together for all these years. but windy still made sure to come and visit their daughter in secret as often as they could, and nightmare, fortunately, was a bit too preoccupied with the war to seek out and terrorize windy that much.
