Heat wave me and my family really needs help !!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I took a screenshot from my phone on the weather app, to show proof how hot it's going to get this week when our gas runs out in the van probably today or tomorrow...also I screen shot it to still show proof that me, my mom and sister definitely need some help get through this stupid heat wave til my brother gets paid on the 29th or 30th ( 6-7 more days )..a close friend and da sibling did donate something to my mom's PayPal yesterday but sadly something from my mom's apple ( cause she has an iPhone ) took some money out from my mom's PayPal today and we don't have much left 💦💦😿if anyone wants to help and donate something to my mom's PayPal or cash app at least that would help us get through this dumb heat wave especially til my brother gets paid which is the 29th or 30th like maybe around 100 Or 115 or 120 , here is her money info PayPal info
https://sta.sh/01c8z8e3hsrj
Cash app info ( $GaylaHolleymanS )
https://sta.sh/01dm8uhlmsy5
cause we really do need the gas so we can keep the cold AC on so we're not burning up inside the van in the circle k parking lot and we don't have that much food to eat which do need some more cause the heat isn't going to help if we're really sweating etc and will make us nauseous more...again i'm really really sorry to ask you guys this...I was kind of hesitating to post the screenshot from the weather app and ask this silly question cause I didn't want to seem like a bother or stressing y'all out about it .. I hope y'all understand why i asked 😿 if your not able to send anything to my mom's paypal Oor cash app then please PLEASE 🥺 💦💦😿 at least spread the word about me and my family needing help cause we definitely need it now and we don't need to be feeling sick and one of us eventually throws up cause of this !!

Artist- valee1e ( this drawing was a request that i had him draw for me 😸)
This is what i imagine is going on in the picture ^^😸💖
As the carousel ride begins to move, Sammey is filled with excitement and joy, holding onto the rail tightly. Simon, sitting behind his brother, has a small smile on his face as he watches Sammy's excitement.
Simon (smiling): You enjoying yourself there, little bro?
Sammy glances back at Simon with a big grin and nods enthusiastically.
Sammy: Yeah, this is amazing! Look at the colors, Simon!
Simon chuckles at his brother's enthusiasm.
Simon: I see them, Sammy. It's quite a sight.
The carousel continues to spin, the colorful lights and the sounds of music filling the air. Sammy's bright smile never fades, and sammy continues to cling tightly to the pole. Simon watches his brother's joy, feeling a sense of contentment in seeing him so happy. As the horses move up and down, Sammy takes the cowboy hat that he had won as one of the prizes from his head and he waves it into the air with a grin
Samuel: YEEEHAAAWW !!! giddy up partner ! I'm a cowboy !!
Simon can't help but chuckle at his brother's enthusiasm.
Simon: Oh, are you now, cowboy?
Sammy beams with pride and continues to wave the hat, pretending to be a cowboy.
Sammy: Yes, I'm a real cowboy, Simon! And I'm gonna ride this horse all the way to the saloon.
The carousel continues to spin, with the horses moving up and down, adding to the excitement of the moment. Sammy feels Simon's arms wrap around his waist, and he turns his head slightly to look back at his brother.
Sammy: Getting a little scared, Si?
He grins teasingly, still waving his cowboy hat in the air. Simon playfully rolls his eyes, trying to maintain his cool.
Simon: Who, me? Scared? No way. Just keeping my balance.
He tightens his hold on Sammy slightly. Sammy bursts into laughter, finding Simon's denial amusing.
Sammy: Right, right, just keeping your balance. keep telling yourself that simon
The carousel continues to spin, but Simon's grip on his brother only seems to tighten further. when he starts thinking about that hallucination he saw from the antique mirror back at the home with Sammy being in his seriously ill form with blood stains on his hands, Simon clings onto him even more and his expression turns anxious as his heart beat feels like it's palpating through his chest. Feeling Simon's increased grip on him, Sammy's laughter dies down, replaced with concern. He looks back at his brother, noticing the change in his expression.
Sammy: Hey, Simon...are you okay?
Simon's mind is still preoccupied by the hallucination, and his heart continues to race. He struggles to find the words to express his fear.
Simon: I...uh...it's nothing.
He tries to brush off his brother's concern, hoping to hide his distress. Simon takes a shaky breath, trying to regain his composure.
Simon: Y-yeah, I'm fine sammy...just...just getting a little dizzy from the ride.
His grip on Sammy loosens slightly, but his body still feels tense. Sammy's concern deepens as he notices the shakiness in Simon's voice and the tension in his body. He knows his brother well enough to recognize that something is amiss.
Sammy: You don't sound fine, Si. You're really shaky and tense."
Sammy doesn't seem entirely convinced, but he decides not to push the issue for the moment and he takes a deep breath before sighing
Sammy: Alright, if you say so big brother. But if you're still feeling a little scared, you can continue to hold on to me just not too tight ok ?
The carousel continues to spin, and Simon does his best to focus on the cheerful atmosphere rather than his lingering fears. Hearing Sammy's reassurance and the understanding tone, Simon manages to calm himself down a bit. He takes a deep breath and slowly loosens his grip on his brother. Simon continues to cling onto his younger twin as his heart continues racing and he whimpers laying his head on Sammy's shoulder . Sammy feels his older brother's head resting on his shoulder, and he can sense the unease in Simon. The carousel ride continues, but Sammy's focus is now solely on Simon's comfort. He gently pats his brother's arm, trying to soothe him.
Sammy (softly): You can hold on as long as you need to, Si. I'm right here with you.
Simon takes comfort in his younger twin's words and his gentle touch. Despite his fear, his grip on Sammy loosens a bit, and he manages a weak smile.
Simon: Th-thank you, Sammy."
During the first go around of the carousel ride goes by quietly, with Sammy providing a sense of comfort to his brother. As it continues to spin, the lights and music swirling around them. Despite trying to relax, Simon can't seem to shake off the uneasy feeling. He keeps his grip on Sammy, his heart rate still elevated.

Oc that's right beside young 16 yr old simon- Samuel/Sammy petrikov ( he is Simon petrikov's fraternal twin little brother and the oc belongs to me )
This is what i imagine is going on in the picture ^^ 😸💖
Simon feels the weight of Samuel's head on his shoulder, and he smiles softly. With his free hand, Simon reaches up and ruffles Samuel's hair affectionately.
Simon: "You comfy there, little brother?
He glances down at the book he's reading, trying to keep his place while also enjoying the moment with Samuel. Sam smiles and nods, nuzzling his head against Simon's shoulder. He enjoys the feeling of his older brother's fingers playing with his hair, finding comfort in the familiar gesture.
Samuel: "yeah, im pretty comfy here..your shoulder is surprisingly comfortable...
He grins up at Simon before letting out a content sigh and closes his eyes for a moment, enjoying the closeness with Simon as gives out a small yawn.
Samuel: by the way...i'v been meaning to ask you something simon
Simon looks down at his brother, his attention shifting from the book he's reading to the question on Samuel's mind. He looks away from the book turning to give Samuel his full attention.
Simon: "Of course, anything. What did you want to ask, Sammy ?
Samuel takes a moment to gather his thoughts, still snuggled against Simon's shoulder.
Samuel: well..i was wondering...do you have a crush on a girl at the moment ?
Simon he states that he doesn’t and asks him the same thing which samuel reminds him that he does. Simon raises an eyebrow, not expecting the question. He looks down at Sammy, his head resting on his shoulder, and smiles.
Simon: A crush? No, not at the moment. I'm too busy focusing on looking after the the shop, to worry about that stuff about girls right now, you know that Sammy. Why do you ask ? Planning to set me up on a date or something?
Sam chuckles as he shakes his head
Samuel: hehehe no nothing like that silly
Simon laughs at Samuel's response. He playfully rolls his eyes and replies with a smirk.
Simon: Ah, good to know you're not trying to play matchmaker behind my back. I was worried I'd have to be on guard against potential blind dates or something.
He looks down at Samuel, who's still resting his head on his shoulder, and he ruffles his hair affectionately again.
Simon: What about you? You said you do have a crush on someone, right? Who's the lucky girl ?
Samuel's expression turns a bit shy, and he looks away for a moment before meeting Simon's gaze again.
Samuel: Oh, uh, it's nobody you know. Just... someone from school.
He struggles to hide a small smile, his crush being a sensitive topic for him.
Samuel: well she's really beautiful....she has long blonde hair pretty blue eyes...she also likes music like i do...shes also funny
Simon smiles, amused by how much Sammy is gushing over this girl.
Simon: Wow, you really like this girl, huh? It sounds like she's quite the catch. Long, blonde hair, blue eyes, and she likes music? Sounds like you've got yourself a real beauty.
Simon grins at Samuel's description of the girl he has a crush on. He can see the sparkle in his brother's eyes as he talks about her, and it's clear how much he likes her.
Simon: I can see why you're smitten with her. She sounds lovely. And the fact that she likes music, just like you, that's quite a match. Have you told her how you feel?
Samuel blushes
Samuel: y-yeah not yet but im still a little nervous of approaching her though especially if im going as myself showing off my heterochromia eyes and black hair
Simon ruffles Sammy's hair, sensing his nervousness. Simon watches his brother blush and grins, amused by his nervousness. He pats Samuel's head softly.
Simon: Hey, don't be nervous. and don't worry showing off your own style, I understand why you would be, but trust me, she'll like you for who you are. Your heterochromia and black hair are what make you unique and interesting and that's part of what makes you special. you know, sometimes quirks like that can make you even more captivating, don't you think? I'm sure she'll appreciate the uniqueness of you.". And if she doesn't see that, then it's her loss, not yours. You don't want to be with someone who'd judge you for that, right ?
Samuel blushes even more as Simon ruffles his hair. He listens to his brother's words, feeling a mix of vulnerability and comfort.
Samuel: Yeah...I suppose not...i guess you're right. It's just hard not to be self-conscious sometimes.
He rubs the back of his neck, still feeling a bit shy about his crush.Samuel nods, taking in Simon's words. He seems comforted by his older brother's reassurance.
Samuel: Yeah, I guess you're right, Si. It's just...I don't know, I guess I'm just scared she won't see me for me, you know? Like she'll just see a freak or something.
Simon squeezes Sammy's shoulder in reassurance offering him a reassuring smile.
Simon: You're not a freak, Sammy. Not in the slightest. You're my brother, and you're unique and special just the way you are. If this girl can't see that, well, then she's not worth your time. And trust me, there's always someone who'll appreciate the real you, quirks and all.
The simple gesture of Simon's hand on his shoulder gives Samuel a sense of comfort and reassurance. He looks up at his brother, a small smile on his face. Samuel's smile brightens a little, comforted by his brother's words. He looks up at Simon, grateful for his support and understanding.
Samuel: Yeah, I know. I'm just being a little insecure, I guess. Thanks for talking some sense into me, Si." I guess I just needed a reminder that being different isn't a bad thing, and the right person will appreciate me for who I am.
Simon smiles at Samuel's words, his expression filled with affection and support. He pats his shoulder again.
Simon: Of course, Sammy. That's what I'm here for. I know it can be tough to shake off those insecurities sometimes. But remember, every person is unique in their own way. Your quirks make you who you are, and the right person will appreciate you for them. This girl sounds worth going for, so don't let your nerves hold you back.
Simon nods, genuinely happy he could help lift Samuel's spirits a bit. He grins and gives his little brother's shoulder a playful poke.
Simon: That's the spirit, Sammy. And remember, no matter what, I'm always here for you, alright ? so don't hesitate to come to me whenever you have any doubts or need a pep talk. Trust me, you've got a lot more going for you than you realize. You're going to get that girl, I just know it.
Samuel's face flushes bright red at Simon's words, feeling a mix of excitement and nervousness.
Samuel: Ugh! You're embarrassing me, Si!
He playfully swats at Simon's hand, but his smile betrays his true feelings. He can't help but feel touched by his brother's support and confidence in him.
Samuel: But...thanks big brother. Really. It means a lot to me. You always know what to say
Samuel's face lights up at Simon's words of encouragement. He feels a rush of confidence and appreciation for his brother.
Samuel: I feel better knowing I can count on you for support.
His heart fills with gratitude and affection. He grins back at Simon, feeling more determined than ever to go for the girl he likes. Simon smiles, patting Sammy on the head.
Simon: No problem, little brother. That's what I'm here for. And hey, who knows? This girl might just end up liking you back if you show some confidence in yourself.
Samuel looks up at Simon, a hopeful expression on his face. He seems to be contemplating his brother's words.
Samuel: You really think so, Si ? You really think there's a chance she might like me back ?
Simon's smile widens as he sees the hope in Samuel's eyes. He nods confidently.
Simon: I do, Sammy. If she appreciates music like you do, and she's as kind and good-hearted as you say, chances are she'll see you for the amazing person you are. Don't underestimate yourself. You've got charm and uniqueness going for you that she'll find endearing, I'm sure of it.
Samuel's hope visibly grows at Simon's words, feeling a mixture of excitement and nervousness. He looks up at his older brother, his expression a mix of hope and vulnerability.
Samuel: You really think I have a chance with her ?
Simon notices the hopeful look in Samuel's eyes and smiles at him reassuringly.
Simon: Of course you do, Sammy. You're smart in your own way, kind, funny, and passionate about the things you love. Any person would be special to have you as a friend or more.
Samuel's smile grows wider, his heart fluttering at Simon's words. He's visibly touched by his brother's belief in him.
Samuel: heh ! ill keep that useful advice in mind. Thanks, Si. Hearing that from you means a lot. I really hope you're right.
He takes a deep breath, feeling a renewed sense of determination before yawning again
Samuel: You know what? I think I might just give it a shot.
Simon grins, happy to see Samuel feeling a bit more confident.
Simon: Good, that's the spirit. And hey, remember, even if this doesn't end up working out, don't beat yourself up over it, alright ? Life's full of ups and downs, and love is one of the most unpredictable things out there. There'll be plenty of other opportunities out there for you.
He playfully ruffles Sammy's hair once more. All of the sudden, Simon thinks as he raises and eyebrow in curiosity as he recalled their earlier playful rough housing match in his bedroom. He remembered Sammy mention about him being a working boy makes him stronger ^^ 😉 and how it looks like all that work really paid off for him which Simon was confused of what Sammy meant by it, so he decides to confront him about it. He looks at his brother, a playful expression on his face.
Simon: Hey, Sammy, you mentioned something a while back in my room , about you being a working boy making you stronger, and how all that work really paid off. What did you mean by that, exactly ? do you have a part time job or something ?
Samuel chuckles, realizing he may have been a little vague in his earlier comment. He nods slowly, confirming Simon's suspicions.
Samuel: Yeah, I do have a part-time job. I didn't want to brag or anything. But I've been helping out there a few times a week, just earning a little extra cash. And I've been doing small gigs here and there. Nothing too serious.
Simon's eyes widened slightly as he listened to his brother's revelation. He was surprised, but in a good way.
Simon: Wait a minute, you've been working a part-time job and doing gigs on the side, all while keeping it a secret from me? And you didn't think I'd be interested to know about all this ?
Samuel chuckled again, seeing the surprised expression on Simon's face. He shrugged sheepishly.
Samuel: Well, I didn't want to make a big deal out of it, you know? I didn't want you to worry about me or anything. I just figured I could handle it myself. Besides, it's not like I was doing anything dangerous or anything like that. Just some basic odd jobs around town.
Samuel chuckled again, seeing the surprised expression on Simon's face. He shrugged sheepishly. Simon tried to sound offended at the fact that Samuel had been hiding his secret job from him, but secretly, he was proud and impressed. He crossed his arms and feigned a pout.
Simon: You really kept all this a secret from me, your own brother? I can't believe you didn't think I'd want to know about your little side hustles. I thought we were supposed to keep each other informed about our lives, and tell each other everything hm?...what made you go looking for a job anyway Sammy ?
Samuel chuckled at Simon's playful mock offense. He could see the hint of pride and pride in his brother's eyes, making him smile.
Samuel: Hey, I didn't mean to keep it a secret from you on purpose. It's just...I figured maybe it didn't matter. You were already busy with the shop and all that, and I didn't want to burden you with my own stuff.
He paused, then gave a sly smile.
Samuel: And as for why I wanted a job...well, i needed to save up some money cause of certain things I want and need to get and see if i can try especially save something to go to college to be a musician rock star 🎶 🎵 🎼 and movie actor 🎭 but dad’s wedding anniversary with our step mom is also coming up so i really want to get them a special gift
simon listens intently as Sammy explains his reasons for working. He can relate to the need to save up money for dreams and goals. A smile tugged at the corners of Simon's lips as he listened to his brother's explanation. He could see the determination and ambition in Samuel's eyes, and it warmed his heart.
Simon: I see...So you want to become a rockstar and actor, huh? Well, I must say, you certainly have the passion and energy for it. That's really admirable of you, little bro. Saving up money for your future plans is a smart thing to do, and it shows how responsible you are. And getting dad and stepmom a special gift for their anniversary is a thoughtful gesture. I’m sure they’d appreciate it a lot. I'm guessing that's why you've been working so hard at those odd jobs, then?
Samuel nods, a determined expression on his face.
Samuel: Yeah, exactly. I figured if I wanted to pursue my dreams and make those dreams come true, I had to start somewhere, right ? And since I can't just rely on my good looks and charm to get famous, what better way to start than by helping out with a few odd jobs around town, right ? I have to work hard and earn my place. That's why I've been working my butt off on those odd jobs and gigs, just trying to save up as much as possible so I can make something of myself. It's not much, but it's a start. just because I'm silly most of the time, doesn't mean i can be serious and handle a job without goofing around
Simon chuckles, impressed by his brother's determination.Simon chuckles again, enjoying Samuel's playful yet determined attitude.
Simon: You're right, Sam. Just because you're a goofball most of the time doesn't mean you can't be serious when you need to be. I admire that about you. You know when to be silly and lighthearted, but you also know when to buck down and get the job done. It's a great quality to have, and I'm glad you're not just all jokes and no substance. But don't forget to have some fun once in a while, okay?
Simon chuckles, knowing full well how playful and carefree Sammy can be, but also how much he is capable of being responsible.
Simon: I know You might act like a clown sometimes, but deep down, you're surprisingly wise. Just don't forget your silly side, though. It's what makes you you, after all. Even though you're usually a big ball of fun and silliness, but you're also incredibly capable and responsible when needed. You've got a great mix of traits there, little brother. And don't forget, you can still have plenty of fun with music and acting. It doesn't have to be all hard work and no play. Just make sure you find a good balance between the two, alright? And if you ever need any advice or an ear to listen, don't hesitate to come to me. I'll always be here for you, no matter what.
Simon crossing his arms and giving Samuel a knowing look still holding the book in his hand
Simon: So, you've been working hard and saving up money for this rockstar and actor career of yours, huh? And let me guess, you've also been using your charm and looks to get people to help you, right? Don't tell me you've been using those big, innocent eyes to make people give you extra money or something.
Samuel chuckles, knowing that Simon can see right through him. He grins sheepishly, looking slightly guilty for being caught.
Samuel: Alright, you got me. I might have used my good looks and charm to my advantage a few times. But can you blame me? People seem to be a bit more generous when you give them those big, innocent puppy eyes and act all cute.
Simon rolls his eyes, but his expression is amused.
Simon: I knew it! You're such a charmer, I swear. Using those big, innocent puppy eyes to get people to sympathize and give you extra money. I knew those looks would be useful for more than just trying to get your way
Simon laughs a bit before shaking his head before asking him what kind of job does he work as he likes to visit him sometimes
Samuel: oh i work at the bakery and let me tell you those bags of sugar and flour are super heavy but at least it gave me some bit of strength
flexes his arm a bit . Simon grins at Sammy's comment, and is impressed by his arm-flexing.
Simon: Haha, you're working at the bakery, huh? I should have figured. And lifting those heavy bags of sugar and flour definitely explains your increased strength
he jokingly taps Samuel's flexed arm in approval.
Simon: Carrying those heavy bags of sugar and flour every day is no easy task. It's tough work, but you're handling it like a champ.
Samuel grins, feeling proud of his work at the bakery.
Samuel: Yeah, it's been a challenge, for sure. But I'm learning a lot and I'm definitely building up my strength. And the smell of freshly baked bread and pastries makes it all worth it!
Simon chuckles at his brother's comment, knowing that the sweet smell of the bakery would be a huge motivator for Samuel. Sam continues to grin as he leans closer his brother as he goes near his ear
Samuel: and the best part is i get to try the desserts on my break ! So awesome !!
Simon laughs a bit, imagining Samuel devouring sweets on his breaks from work.
Simon: Hehe, of course the best part for you is the desserts. I don't think I've ever known anyone who loves sweets as much as you do, Sam .
Simon grins, his sweet tooth showing.
Simon: Ah, now I see how it is . So you get to not only have a job, but you also get to have free desserts on your breaks. Now I'm really jealous. I should start visiting the bakery more often.
Simon laughs again, imagining visiting his brother at the bakery and stealing some treats from him.
Simon: I'm definitely going to be stopping by more often now, that's for sure. Can't have you hogging all those delicious sweets to yourself! Maybe I'll even ask the baker if they have any extra treats they could give me, just for being the brother of their best worker.
Samuel grins, knowing he has Simon's attention now.
Samuel: " it will be fun ^^ and Well, if you do come to visit, I'll make sure to save some of the best sweets for you. Can't have my big brother feeling left out now, can I? But just a fair warning, I might not be willing to share all of them.
Simon smirks, appreciating the offer as Sammy mentions about giving him a family discount
Simon : A family discount ? Really? And here I was, thinking I'd have to pay full price. Well, now you're talking! I might have to take you up on that offer, little bro. Free or discounted treats ? I can definitely get behind That. But don't worry, I'll still buy a few things to support the bakery, and of course, to keep your boss from getting suspicious. We can't have them finding out you're giving out family discounts to your brother now, can we ?
Samuel nods, knowing the importance of keeping things discreet.
Samuel: Yeah, I don't think my boss would be too happy if they found out I'm giving out family discounts like candy. But hey, for you? I'll make sure to keep things on the down-low. Just don't go blabbing to everyone in town that you're getting special treatment, alright? I value my job, but I value our brotherhood more. I don't want other people trying to get free or discounted treats. This family discount is just between us
Simon raises his eyebrows, pretending to consider it.
Simon: Hmm, well now you've got me wondering who else you might have been giving your little family discount to. Have you been passing out discounts like candy to everyone in town, or is this treatment only reserved for your dear big brother ?
He winks teasingly to indicate his playful nature. Samuel laughs, knowing Simon is just teasing him.
Samuel: Hehe, don't worry, big brother. You know I would never give out family discounts to just anyone in town. You're my favorite twin after all. That special privilege belongs exclusively to you. But just because I like you so much, I'll let you come by the bakery and have all the free pastries and sweets you want. After all, you're my big brother, and I wouldn't want you to miss out on all these delicious treats, right ? The bakery's best worker giving discounts to his twin is one thing, but letting everyone in town get special treatment would be a whole different story. This family discount is definitely just for you, got it? No one else gets to know !
Samuel grins, clearly enjoying this little secret between them. Simon laughs
Simon: you sure know how to spoil your big brother, don't you Sammy ?
Samuel grins, happy to have made his big brother happy.
Samuel: of course! Who better to spoil than my favorite big brother? I know you've got a sweet tooth almost as big as mine, and I can't let you suffer without your daily sugar intake. Plus, getting you addicted to sweetness and treats means you'll keep coming back to me more often, right ?and besides you spoil me too so i guess we're both even
Simon laughs, knowing full well that he does tend to dote on Sammy at times.
Simon: Yeah, I guess you're right about that. I can't help it, though. You're my little brother, and I guess I have been sort of spoiling you too. It's kind of my job as the older sibling, you know ?
Samuel grins, knowing that Simon's spoiling comes from a place of love and brotherly affection. Sam chuckles as he starts to yawn again before rubbing his eyes as he snuggles on Simon's shoulder more
Samuel: i know your on a no sweet diet but i could make a vegan option where it's full with healthy ingredients but look and taste like desserts
Simon nods, appreciating the thoughtful offer.
Simon: That sounds nice, Sammy. I know I'm on a no sweet diet, but I am open to trying more healthy options. And making desserts that taste and look like the real thing but with healthy ingredients – that's impressive.
Simon thinks to himself and mentions in his head how he is surrounded by people truly part of a family unlike him since he was raised by his uncle who is also his adoptive “dad” yuily petrikov. He then ponders his own past in his head, thinking about the contrast difference between Sammy's life the family he has now and his life the one he was brought up and raised in. Simon starts to feel a little jealous of samuel and wished he had his kind of life. Simon continues to think about Samuel's life in comparison to his own. He's happy for his younger brother, but can't help but feel a pang of jealousy. Maybe it's just the nostalgia talking, or maybe it's something else. Whatever it is, Simon can't help but feel a bit envious of the life that Sammy has. He tries to shake the feeling, reminding himself that he shouldn't compare himself to his brother, but the feeling lingers in the back of his mind. As Simon continues to read his book, he can't help but whisper his thoughts aloud - almost as if he's speaking to himself. His voice is a mix of frustration and longing, as he reflects on the differences between his own upbringing and the relatively normal one that Samuel had. He mumbles quietly, his words tinged with bitterness.
Simon: must be nice to have a family that genuinely cares about you, treats you like an actual person, instead of just a owned object…
Simon is snapped out of his envious thoughts as his eyes widens in shock and he looks down at Sammy, who is starting to doze off on his shoulder. The sight of his brother's peaceful expression brings a soft smile to Simon's face, and he reaches out to gently ruffle his hair. he can't help but chuckle softly while simon mentally scolds himself for his envious thoughts, reminding himself that he has no reason to be jealous of sammy. But the thoughts linger in his mind, a stark reminder of the different upbringings they had. noticing that his adorable little twin brother is about to go fast asleep on his shoulders. In the back of his mind, He knows that he shouldn't compare his own life to Samuel's. After all, he does have a loving family and a supportive brother in Sammy. Simon's thoughts swirl in his head as he continues to gaze at his adorable twin little brother, who is now fast asleep on his shoulders. Despite his earlier envious thoughts, Simon can't help but smile at the sight of his little brother. As Simon looks down at his adorable twin, The sight of his brother dozing off and fully asleep on his shoulder is just too cute. He shakes his head, a small smile still lingering on his face as he tries to refocus his attention on the book he's reading.Simon thinks to himself, his eyes flicking between the pages and his brother's peaceful expression.
Simon ( in his head): What am I saying...I'm not alone. I do have a family. I have Sammy by my side. That's what matters most."

Oc right beside simon petrikov- Alexander vytka ( a close archeologist best friend of his that's like a older brother figure and the oc belongs to me)
This is what i imagine is going on in the picture ^^ 😸💖
As they continue to look through the window, simon happens to see something interesting inside the dock workers shop which seemed to be intrigued and wants to get a closer look inside and decides to go into the small shop. Simon's eyes catch sight of something that piques his interest inside the shop. He points it out to Alexander.
Simon: Hey, Alex, take a look at that over there.
He gestures to a particular item on a shelf, curiosity glimmering in his eyes.
Simon: I think I found something interesting.
Without waiting for Alexander's response, he pushes open the door and steps inside the shop. The bell overhead chimes, announcing their arrival. Alex follows closely behind, curious to see what Simon has found.
Alexander: What is it, simon ? You seem really excited just now.
He looks around the shop, taking in the various antiques and artifacts on display. The shop is dimly lit, with each item carefully stored and organized on shelves and display cabinets. The dock worker, an middle aged man with a long viking like hairstyle gives a kind smile, looks up from his counter.
Dockworker: "Good day, gentlemen. Welcome to my shop. Can I assist you in finding something specific?"
Simon approaches the counter, still looking at the object he had spotted from the window
Simon: Yes, actually. I noticed an item inside your shop through the window and i was wondering could I take a closer look at it ?
The dock worker smiles politely and nods, intrigued by Simon's interest.
Dock Worker: Of course, sir. you can look around and take as much time as you need to see if you happened to find the items your looking for
Simon thanks the dock worker and starts making his way through the shop, scanning the shelves for the item he saw earlier. Alex follows closely behind, trying to see what has piqued Simon's interest. The dockworker stands behind the counter, watching the two as they browse at other antiques in the shop until Simon's eyes are immediately drawn to a certain display case in the corner. Behind the glass sits an ornate, jewel-studded crown on a pedestal. It looks out of place in this dark small shop, its intricate design catching his eye as a small light shines on the crown while Alex just gets weird vibes from it where his expression looks dark and frightened Simon's footsteps come to a stop as he reaches the display case with the crown. He stands there, eyes wide, fixed on the shimmering jewels.
Simon: Wow...
He barely manages to whisper the word as he takes in the sight of the crown. The craftsmanship is exquisite, and the jewels seem to gleam even brighter beneath the spotlight overhead.Alex, however, doesn't seem quite as enthralled. His expression is troubled, almost wary as he looks at the crown.
Simon: Alex, look at this. It's...it's incredible. I've never seen something so beautiful.
Simon leans in closer, his gaze fixed on the crown as he is trying to look closer at the crowns design
Simon: This crown, It's incredible. Look at the craftsmanship...the meticulous details in the jewels. It's like it doesn't belong here, in this small shop in North Scandinavia.
He can't tear his eyes away, his fingers itching to touch. Alex hesitates, watching Simon with a mixture of concern and unease.
Alexander: Simon, I don't think that's just any crown. There's something...off about it."
Simon's eyes remain fixed on the crown, his curiosity piqued. He turns to Alex, noticing his uneasy expression.
Simon: "What do you mean, 'off'?
Alex hesitates for a moment, trying to put his feelings into words.
Alexander: I can't explain it exactly, but there's just something...unusual about that crown. The workmanship is exquisite, but the way it gleams in the light, it's almost like it's radiating an aura of...power.
Alexander stands next to Simon's side as he continues to gaze at the crown in the glass display. Simon is entranced by the crown's beauty, but Alex's unease doesn't go unnoticed. Without taking his eyes off the crown, he responds to Alex's concern.
Simon: oh relax It's just a crown, Alex.
He says, still mesmerized by the glimmering jewels. Alex tries to catch Simon's attention again but his friend is utterly entranced to the crown still admiring the crown's intricate design.
Simon: it must be made with real gold and have real rubies on it ! who knows it might have belonged to an ancient king.. the idea that it might have belonged to an ancient king...it adds to its allure. It's almost as if it's calling out to me, begging to be taken care of and treasured.
Alex looks at Simon's entrance expression and the crown as his concerns continue to grow
Alexander: Simon..I really do think we should leave. Something about this item is giving my goosebumps
Simon lets out a small scoff, waving off Alex's concerns. He's too captivated by the crown to fully consider his friend's unease.
Simon: Come on, Alex. You're being irrational. It's just a crown. What could possibly be wrong with it ?
He leans in even closer, his fingers lightly touching the glass display case. Simon's still focused on the crown, completely oblivious to Alex's growing concern. The excitement in his voice is evident.
Simon: You're just overthinking it. It's just a beautiful antique. Besides, imagine how much research we could do with something like this.
He finally turns to look at Alex, a glimmer of excitement in his eyes.
Simon: We can't just walk away from this opportunity
Alex studies Simon's expression, his friend's excitement infectious. But there's still a nagging feeling in the back of his mind, warning him that something isn't right.
Alex: Look, si. I hate to burst your bubble, but this situation feels off. Something about that crown just doesn't feel right."
He glances back at the crown, trying to ignore the uneasiness gnawing at him. Simon hesitates, seeing the concern in Alex's eyes. But his excitement over the crown still wins out.
Simon: alex It's just a crown, no matter how beautiful or rare it may be. We're not dealing with some "cursed" artifact.
He sighs, still eyeing the crown.
Simon: Think about the knowledge we could gain from studying this thing. It's a once in a lifetime opportunity.
Alex's concern grows as he sees the determination in Simon's eyes. He knows his friend won't back down easily.
Alex: I understand that, simon. But this crown just feels...wrong. I can't explain it, but it sets off every alarm bell in my head. And that's never a good sign.
He takes a step closer to Simon, concern etched on his face.
Alex: I'm just asking you to trust me on this one. Please, let's walk away. besides we didn't even come to this expedition to find something we're not even here for like this crown. How about we continue our search that we're actually here in the first place.
Simon sighs and frowns starting to get a little bit frustrated with Alex's insistence as his eyes fixated on its shimmering jewels. Simon decides that they should bring the crown back to the university instead of the original reason why they came to north Scandinavia. Simon's frustration fades for a moment as he considers Alex's words. He knows his friend's concern comes from a place of care.
Simon: i know we came here for another reason, but this crown...it's something special. I can feel it.
He looks back at Alex, his decision now made.
Simon: We should bring it back to the university instead. Imagine the possibilities. The research we could do...it doesn't change the fact that this crown is exceptional. It could be even better valuable addition to the university's collection. We can't just ignore this, seriously you really need to stop being so paranoid...there's nothing wrong with this item.
Alex sighs before taking a deep breath trying to stay calm as he was not trying to start an argument especially in public, trying to act like he's fine even though his uneasy feeling is still lingering in his mind
Alexander: y-yeah your right Simon.. how about we ask the dock worker how much it is ? it might be expensive knowing the quality it must have been made from
Simon's determination intensifies, his mind already set on acquiring the crown. He nods, his eyes still fixed on the shimmering jewels.
Simon: We should find out the price. With something this exquisite, it will be expensive, but it's worth every penny.
He looks around for the dock worker, ready to make an offer. Alexander goes over to the dock worker at the counter and rings the bell

one day while Simon was off doing something having his brother wait outside in front of a cafe til he meets up with him, samuel petrikov happens to be disguising as simon where he has the ponytail hairstyle, dress in the same outfit but his turtleneck long sleeve was blue while the button vest was black and wears glasses as simon but the only difference is that samuel /sammy petrikov long bangs is covering his left eye and ( samuel’s heterochromia eyes isn’t covered/hidden so the person gets to see them ) samuel’s sit silently on a bench in front of a cafe shop while he rocks his feet back and forth as a blonde 16 young girl approaches him and offers to hang out, but is perplexed
???: hey there, you look really lonely sitting here by yourself, do you need any company and want me to hang out with you for a bit ?
She is perplexed when the mysterious boy doesn’t appear to acknowledge her presences as Sammy continues to rock his feet back and forth with a bored expression and the girl tries to get his attention by waving her hand in front of his face hoping it would get his attention but the mysterious boy was lost in his thoughts. Samuel keeps rocking his feet back and forth in a rhythmic manner, seemingly undisturbed by the presence of the girl waving her hand in front of his face. His expression remains passive and devoid of reaction, as if he is lost deep in thought, cause of his lack of response the girl takes a step closer to him and tries a more assertive approach, gently touching his shoulder to break his trance..Feeling the girl’s touch on his back, he finally snapped out of his deep thoughts, turning his head to face her
Samuel: ..i-..uhm-…Oh..! sorry, didn’t see you there
he said rather embarrassedly, hoping that the girl wouldn’t think he’s just straight up ignoring her. He gave her a slight awkward smile, still feeling slightly flustered
???: it’s ok ☺️ you seemed out of it, so i had to get your attention somehow..
she sees sam checking his watch and he sighs as he mentions that “he ” is running late and wonders where “he” could be and whats taking “him ” so long. The girl listens to the mysterious boy talking to himself. He checked his watch and seemed concerned about someone being late. The girl felt a sense of curiosity and concern.
???: Oh, you’re waiting for someone??
she asked kindly, trying to strike up a conversation. Samuel turns to gaze at her again as he nods
Samuel: yeah actually !..I’m just waiting for my brother. He promised to take me to the store then the carnival 🎪 🎡 later and he’s taking forever, i'v been waiting for almost ten minutes and he’s still not here yet…im bored out my mind just sitting on this bench not doing anything
He glances at his wristwatch and frowns slightly. The girl couldn’t help but chuckle a little at Samuel’s plight. She could understand the feeling of being bored and waiting for someone to arrive
???: Well, I’m sure he’ll be here eventually. But in the meantime, do you want some company? I could keep you entertained for a bit if you’d like. It’s better than just waiting around and feeling bored, right?
Samuel thinks to himself for a moment, having company is better than being alone waiting but at the same time when girl mentioned about keeping him entertained, he was intrigued. The girl noticed Samuel’s intrigued and she could sense his interest.
???: And I must say, you have quite some interesting mannerisms. You were so lost in your thoughts earlier, I thought you were ignoring me. But here we are, having a conversation now
she said with a cheeky smile, wanting to keep the conversation going as Samuel rubs his head with a chuckle
Samuel: yeah again, sorry about that…I guess having some company wouldn’t be so bad to keep me entertained
The girl sits down next to Samuel on the bench and thinks for a moment about what they could talk about.
???: So, what’s your name? i should know the name of the person i’m keeping entertained after all
she said, with a playful tone. Sammy chuckles more and smiles as he thinks to himself of already coming up with a funny prank and decides to go with it by using his twin’s name as he uses his acting skills to pretend to be him again
Samuel: why my name is simon petrikov, it’s nice to meet you um..what’s your name ??
The girl’s eyes widen with curiosity as she hears the name Simon Petrikov
???: Simon Petrikov, huh? That name sounds familiar..but nevermind. My name is jessica. It’s nice to meet you too
she said, feeling a vague sense of familiarity with the name he gave her as she asks sam about what they should talk about, he couldn’t help but decided to continue his prank and mess around with her a bit as samuel petrikov then eerily asks jessica about a doppelganger which Jessica expresses confusion about what he meant by doppelganger. Jessica was slightly baffled by Samuel’s question about the strange topic. She had never heard the term before and was curious about what he meant.
Jessica: Hmm, a doppelganger?
she repeated, still confused.
Jessica: What do you mean by that..?
Sammy chuckles and he smiles at her not knowing what it is, making it easier for him to keep playing around with Jessica
Samuel: a doppelganger’s or a clone is ‘another you or me’ and that if anyone who sees their other copy of themselves usually meets a bad end…you know how the saying goes…there can only be one
Jessica’s eyes widen with a mix of surprise and uncertainty. The concept of a doppelganger or a clone was both fascinating and a bit unsettling.
Jessica: Woah, really? That’s kind of…freaky
she said, a shiver running down her spine.
Jessica: So anyone who sees their doppelganger or clone usually faces a…bad end, you said?
She raises an eyebrow at Samuel’s ominous words
Jessica: well ..I’ve heard the saying about there can only be one, but In real life, seeing a doppelganger or someone who looks a lot like you typically just means there’s a similarity, right? It’s a coincidence.
Samuel nods his head affirming her question and he chuckles more with a mischievous smile as he goes to whisper in her ear
Samuel: A doppelganger, in folklore, is an identical double or look-a-like of a living person. It’s often linked to dark and supernatural occurrences. Though you are right it could be just a coincidence
he turns around and looks to make sure no one is near him
Samuel: But between you and me, i think i really have doppelganger secretly roaming around somewhere..he could be walking around on this very street
Jessica’s eyes widen with surprise as she listens to Samuel’s whispered claim of a doppelganger.
Jessica: Really? You have a doppelganger roaming around here?
she asked, a hint of disbelief in her voice.
Jessica: that’s kind of…creepy. Have you ever seen him?
Jessica’s disbelief becomes more evident, but also tinged with a hint of dread. Even if she did not believe it, the thought of a doppelganger wandering around was unsettling. Samuel’s claim added an element of mystery to their conversation. Samuel, with a sly smile, responds to her question
Samuel: Oooh, yeah, I’ve seen him before alright, or at least I think I have..he looks exactly like me, sometimes i would even spot him somewhere in the area or even appear behind me without me realizing it which gives me the chills as if someone is watching and spying on me but there’s just something about him that feels off, y'know?
Jessica starts to scoffs as she starts to laugh
Jessica: hahaha very funny simon, there’s no such thing as doppelganger like clones ! that sounds made up for a supernatural movie ^^
Jessica’s skepticism was evident in her laughter, dismissing Samuel’s words as mere fiction. he had expected her to be a bit scared from his claim but she seemed doubtful. Samuel’s smile widens as he listens to her disbelief. He decided to take it a step further with his prank.
Samuel: oh I don't know about that. For all you know, I might not even be the REAL Simon petrikov. I could be a doppelganger
Sam leans closer to her ear keeping his mischievous smile
Samuel: and who knows…maybe there really is someone here on this very street that looks exactly like me…you could be talking to one of them right now…just sitting.. right in front of you…
As Samuel leaned closer and spoke in a hushed tone, his words sent a chill down Jessica’s spine. The thought of unknowingly talking to someone who could be his doppelganger was both intriguing and disconcerting. Jessica chuckled nervously, trying to brush off the unease she was feeling..
Jessica: Oh come on, you’re just trying to freak me out now. There’s no way that could be true, right?..right?
Sam grins as he Snickers and laughs
Samuel: hahaha im just kidding ! of course your talking to a real person in front of you , im not some doppelganger clone or anything.. obviously you can tell im the original one and only simon petrikov ^^
Jessica’s uneasiness begins to subside as Samuel reassures her and laughs, making it seem like a joke. She nods, relieved to hear that he is indeed the real Simon Petrikov.
Jessica: Phew, thank goodness you were just messing with me. I actually started to get a bit creeped out there for a moment.
Sam then continues to look around in suspense and whispers as if trying to appear serious
Samuel: but if you do happen to encounter my other self, don’t hesitate and run quickly as you can
Samuel’s whispered warning catches her attention once again. She gives him a quizzical look.
Jessica: Wait– are you serious? If I see this supposed Doppelganger, I should run as fast as possible…?
Sammy nods as he continues the suspense
Jessica: hehehe alright, ill try to keep that in mind…but let’s just hope i don’t run into a mysterious doppelganger anytime soon.. that will be a bit too weird and creepy for me..
she said with a shaky nervous laugh even though she doubts their not real only supernatural tall tale but at the same time feel a little uneasy still with Sammy’s continuous suspense. Jessica’s nervous laugh betrays her lingering doubts about the existence of Doppelgangers. Even though she dismissed it as a supernatural tall tale, there was a nagging sense of unease that wouldn’t quite go away. Samuel, noticing this, decided to continue his mischievous charade, enjoying the thrill of her reaction
Samuel: Well, you never know…They say Doppelgangers tend to appear when you least expect them…literally
While Sam and Jessica continue their conversation especially sam continuing his doppelganger topic, Simon is soon on his way to the cafe shop, with a couple of books on hand, specifically books about antiquities, history and ancient times. All the way to the cafe, he was also lost in his thoughts and distracted by antiquities, from some stores on the way that were selling ancient and old antiquities, his mind getting distracted for a second before remembering the reason why he was heading to the cafe shop, to hang out with his twin brother for the day. Samuel continued his mischief, enjoying the effect his words were having on Jessica. But little did they know, Simon was nearby, making his way towards the cafe. as Simon arrives he spots his twin brother, Samuel, sitting on the bench in front of the building with Jessica conversing to each other . At that moment this is when Simon petrikov finally approaches: he is identical to his fraternal twin little brother’s disguise, only with a yellow like turtleneck , eyes isn’t two different colors/heterochromia , and his bangs isn’t covering his left eye etc Simon walks up to them with a warm smile, holding a couple of books on antiquities under his arm and he is glad to see his brother enjoying himself. He makes his way towards the pair, trying his best to get into their conversation without interrupting too much and waves his hand to get his twin’s attention. Simon apologizes for running a bit late and explains what happened, which was his fascination with the antiquities on display in the nearby shop. Sammy is happy that simon approached just in time for the real act of his prank and he mimics his twin older brother’s serious and stoic expression to make it convincing. Simon noticed Samuel mimicking his mannerisms and serious stoic expression, and it took him a moment to realize what was happening. Simon raised an eyebrow, looking between Sammy and Jessica, silently questioning his brother’s behavior.
Samuel: oh Simon your finally here ! took you long enough !
Jessica’s mind was in turmoil as she desperately tried to make sense of the situation. How could there be two Simons right in front of her? It should be impossible, but her eyes told her otherwise. Samuel staying in character, stood up from the bench and leaned in to whisper to her, maintaining Simon’s stoic and serious expression. Samuel’s words, claiming that the person she was seeing was his doppelganger clone and she should start running did nothing to ease her fears. In fact, it only heightened her panic. Jessica, who had been talking with Samuel earlier, noticed the sudden change in his expression and was taken back, not quite sure what to make of it..she gazes back in forth between Sammy sitting on the bench while Simon was standing in front of them with books underneath his arm and her eyes widens in shock and fear when she compares the two to each other where Sam’s brother Simon is identical to his fraternal twin little brother sam’s disguise, only difference is that Simon is wearing a yellow like turtleneck and his bangs isn’t covering his left eye which starts to scare Jessica a bit when she continues to notice they have the same stoic serious expression. Jessica’s eyes widened as she compared the two brothers standing in front of her. The resemblance between them was uncanny, leaving her stunned and bewildered. The sudden change in expression from the Sammy on the bench to the Simon standing before her, coupled with their identical features, sent a shiver down Jessica’s spine. It was almost like looking at the same person, but with subtle differences. The fact that they both shared a stoic and serious expression intensified her fear and confusion. Jessica gulps as she is overcome by fear and starts to back away before she starts to freak out and scared as she runs off screams and yelling
Jessica: doppelgängers clones !!
Samuel stood there, still maintaining his stoic expression, watching Jessica as she vanished into the distance. All of the sudden sammy couldn’t help but snicker and giggles at his playful joke enjoying the spectacle he had created. His playful joke had achieved its effect. Sam’s playful nature continues as he laughs to himself, finding the joke to be amusing, he knew he was just only having a bit of fun to keep from being bored and probably went too far but the sight of Jessica’s reaction was priceless to him. Simon looks at fraternal twin little brother and he shakes head as he sighs, since he couldn’t believe that Samuel was doing his antics again especially about doppelganger clones nonsense. Simon shook his head, letting out a sigh of disapproval at Samuel’s behavior. He had expected his fraternal twin little brother to pull pranks and jokes, as it was in his nature, but the doppelganger clone story seemed to have crossed a line. Simon knew that Samuel’s intentions were just for fun, but he still couldn’t help but be a bit annoyed by his little brother’s antics especially involving supernatural stuff and he looks at his giggling twin with a mix of amused annoyance
Simon: seriously Sammy, not this again.. what exactly were you thinking ? is this what you have been doing the entire time you were waiting for me ? i thought i have told you before to stop scaring people like that ?..honestly I don’t blame them for running off screaming; you gave them a fright with your doppelganger reference.
Simon rolls his eyes while Samuel continues to snicker before laughing with his playful smirk never leaving his face
Samuel: oh come on Simon, lighten up a little. it was just a funny joke ^^ and i was only just having a bit of harmless fun and besides Jessica will find out eventually that your not really my doppelganger clone and your just my fraternal twin brother, it’s no big deal
Simon, still shaking his head, tried his best to remain calm and composed despite his annoyance
Simon: Har harm– harmless? Samuel, you just scared that poor girl half to death by telling her about doppelganger clones. How is that even remotely harmless not to mention not a big deal ? You’ve gone too far with this one sam, and you know it
Simon let out another sigh, his patience wearing thin. He couldn’t believe how oblivious Samuel could be at times. With a stern tone, he began to scold his twin.
Simon: Samuel you need to understand that your pranks and tricks aren’t just harmless fun. Do you have any idea how you affected that girl? She probably has PTSD now, all because of your ridiculous supernatural story about doppelganger clones. It’s not funny, it’s hurtful and irresponsible
Simon continued his scolding, emphasizing the potential long-lasting effects of Samuel’s prank.
Simon: Not only that, but your little joke could have serious consequences. That girl might never trust anyone she talks to again. She’ll probably always be second-guessing and assuming people are doppelganger clones, always doubting the authenticity of the people around her. You have no idea the kind of pain and confusion you’ve caused her, all for your amusement
Simon continued his reprimand, making it clear that Samuel needed to rectify the situation.
Simon: You need to apologize to her Sam, she doesn’t deserve to be the subject of your pranks. Explain to her that it was all a joke and that there’s no such thing as doppelganger clones . You owe her that much
Simon shook his head, but couldn’t suppress a small smile. Samuel’s sense of humour was always mischievous and he chuckles a bit
Simon: You’re such a troublemaker, you know that ? I still can’t believe that people think I’m actually your doppelganger clone all because of this ridiculous supernatural nonsense.. seriously you need to stop saying this kind of stuff, idk how many times i have to keep telling you this
Samuel sighs pretending to be irritated as he rubs his head
Samuel: ok ok fine.. i see your point and i may have gone too far on this one si…ill go find and speak with her and explain everything later that we are just fraternal twins and nothing more. There you happy now ?
He can't help but smile at Samuel's feigned irritation
Simon: Yes, I’m much happier now that you promise to correct the situation. We don’t want people believing there are doppelgangers running around.
Sam crosses his arms pretending to pout
Samuel: geeze your no fun simon, you know that ?
Simon rolled his eyes at Samuel’s attempt to play innocent as he crosses his arms
Simon: Save the pouting for someone who cares. You brought this on yourself. It’s about time you learned some responsibility and realized that pranks have consequences. Maybe next time, think twice before scaring people half to death with your doppelganger clone nonsense.
Samuel sighs as he looks away pretending to pout more
Samuel: yeah yeah, i know..im sorry big brother…i was just bored waiting for you and i needed something to entertain myself
Simon softened his expression but didn’t completely give in to his little brother’s pouting.
Simon: I understand that you get bored easily, but there are other ways to entertain yourself without causing a scene and upsetting people. We talked about this before, Sam. You can’t just go around playing pranks and expecting others to be okay with it. It’s not fair to them
Simon knew all too well that Sammy had a tendency to act impulsively and a bit of a mischief when he was bored and not occupied. With a patient tone, he tries to offer a different perspective, suggesting to his twin little brother that he needs to find a healthier and reasonable way to entertain himself like reading a book, playing some made up game
Simon: You know, there are healthier and more constructive ways to combat your boredom, Samuel. Instead of resorting to pranks and tricks, why not consider reading a book or playing some imagination games? You have a vivid mind with that imagination of yours, and engaging in activities like that could be both entertaining and mentally stimulating.
He ruffles Samuel’s hair affectionately
Samuel: Simon come on ! i told you not to ruffle my hair, im not a little kid anymore
he playfully chuckles enjoying the ruffles. Simon laughs warmly, knowing how Samuel secretly loves the brotherly affection
Simon: I’m sorry, I couldn’t help myself. You may not be a kid anymore, but you’ll always be my little brother. Besides, you enjoy it.
He continues to ruffle his hair once more before pulling away, chuckling.Samuel chuckles more as he tries to fix his hair that his brother just messed up a little. Simon couldn’t help but notice his twin little brother’s unusual attire as if trying to to resemble him again especially this time wearing glasses which is a bit unusual for Sammy since his twin as been wearing them more often recently. Simon noticed that Samuel has been wearing glasses for the past how many days especially sam covering his left eye with his long bangs and he finally decides to ask about it as he and he looks at his twin with concern and curiosity
Simon: Hey, Sammy, I’ve noticed you’ve been wearing glasses for a while now. And you’ve been hiding your left eye with your bangs. Is there something wrong with your eye or something? That’s not like you
Samuel reaches up and adjusts his glasses, a small grin on his face. Simon’s observation isn’t completely lost on him, although he tries to play it off casually
Samuel: Oh, these old things? Just thought I’d switch up my look a bit, you know? Plus, they make me look smarter, don’t you think?
He grins more, deflecting any concern Simon might have. However, Simon isn’t convinced - he knows something is up.Samuel sighs as he knows that he isn’t fooling Simon sense he can always tell what’s up
Samuel: fine you caught me….it’s because i heard rumors that these glasses supposedly improves/strengthen weak vision since I have been having blurry vision and trouble seeing things on my left side lately for about a week or two. our dad mikaily had to take me to the eye doctor and that is why i have been wearing prescribe specs with differing prescription lenses glasses for about a week to protect my better seeing right eye while my left that is experiencing refractive error and blurry/poor vision at the moment is being corrected by the one differing prescription lens that will correct and fix the affected eye.
simon checks as he moves his long bangs revealing his pretty purple heterochromia left eye and takes sam’s glasses off. Simon listens intently to his twin little brother’s explanation, nodding along with understanding. It was reassuring to know that there was a logical reason for the glasses and the change in Samuel’s behavior.
Simon: Sammy…why didn’t you tell me anything? I had no idea that you were having trouble with your vision. It’s a good thing dad took you to the eye doctor. that explains why you’ve been wearing glasses lately. It’s good to know that you’re getting the help you need to improve your vision. But you know, you could’ve just told me about it instead of making me worry about your eye.
He sighs
Simon: I understand that you didn’t want to worry me sammy, but you should know that I’m always going to worry about you, whether you like it or not. I’m your brother, after all.
Simon looks concern at the sight of his brother’s left eye up closely. He takes another step forward, as he continues to gently brushing aside Samuel’s hair as Sammy looks away trying to avoid eye contact as he is embarrassed about his mix match color eyes
Simon: so the eye doctor prescribed different lenses to help correct that refractive error right ?
He studies the purple of his left eye, a mixture of worry and curiosity on his face. Samuel lets Simon move his bangs more as Simon continues to speak, his concern for his little brother evident in his expression.
Samuel: yeah…or so i heard anyway ^^💧
Simon gives the glasses back to his younger twin brother. Samuel rubs the back of his head shyly and notices Simon’s concern and worry and he tries to brush it off by smiling
Samuel: don’t worry Si ! it’s just a little blurry vision, its not that big of a dealbesides i have been meaning to tell you but didn’t find the right time or moment to bring it up…
Simon looks at Samuel, his expression serious
Simon: Not that big of a deal? Samuel, this is about your eyesight. It’s incredibly important. I understand that you didn’t know how to bring it up, but I want you to promise me something.
He places a hand on Samuel’s shoulder, waiting for his response
Samuel: what is it ?
Simon locks eyes with him, his gaze unwavering.
Simon: Promise me that from now on, you will be completely honest with me about your health. No more keeping things from me or brushing them off, okay? I care about you and want to support you through anything you’re going through. But I can’t help you if I don’t know what’s going on. Do we have a deal?
Samuel sighs as he knows he can’t say no to his favorite twin and he gives him a reassuring smile
Samuel: i promise simon ! you have my word
Simon relaxes, feeling a small weight lifted from his shoulders
Simon: Good. I’m glad we’ve got that settled. Your health matters to me, Samuel. I care about you a lot.
He ruffles Samuel’s hair one more time, a fond smile on his face as he pauses for a moment, studying Samuel’s left eye, noting the blurry vision.
Simon: How’s your vision doing anyway ? Any improvement since you started wearing those glasses?
Samuel rubs his left eye, self-conscious about his vision..He looks up at Simon, a hint of vulnerability in his eyes.
Samuel: well…, it hasn’t gotten any worse, which is a good sign. i mean It’s still blurry, but i can see a little bit better so at least the glasses are helping. I feel like I can see a better without them buuut i think I’m to going to keep wearing the differing prescription lens glasses for maybe two more weeks just to be sure
Sammy adjusts his glasses, feeling a bit self-conscious as simon smiles at him. Simon nods, his expression gentle
Simon: That’s good to hear. It’s good that your vision seems to be improving, even if it’s just a bit. Wearing the glasses for a little longer is probably a wise decision. Have the headaches gotten better too?
Samuel’s expression turns sheepish.
Samuel: well, they’re not as frequent as before, I guess. But they’re still pretty bad when they do happen.
Simon nods, listening intently to his little brother’s response. He was relieved to hear that Sammy was seeing some improvement, but concern still lingered in his expression about Sam's health
Simon: Sammy, are you sure you’re comfortable wearing those glasses for two more weeks? It must be strange having one lens being different from the other.
Samuel sighs, feeling a bit embarrassed about his condition.
Samuel: To be honest, it feels kinda weird. It takes a while to get used to.
He adjusts his glasses, still unsure about his new accessory before Samuel smiles as rubs his side of his chin
Samuel: and believe me it is a little strange to wear these prescription glasses, don’t get me wrong and im still getting use to them but i just want it to be better safe than sorry
He lets out a small chuckle, a hint of fond exasperation in his tone as he knew Sammy has always been one to take extra precautions especially if it’s his health and he agrees with sam that it is probably a good idea to keep wearing them for a bit longer just to be safe Simon nodded in agreement with Samuel’s words, a mix of relief and slight irritation in his expression.
Simon: I understand your reasoning, but next time, you need to stop keeping secrets and communicate with me about these things especially when it involves your health. It’s my job to worry about you, you know. I don’t want you hiding things from me, no matter how small they might be.
Samuel hangs his head, feeling guilty.
Samuel: I’m sorry, Si. I didn’t want to worry you, so I just thought I could handle it on my own.
He fidgets with his glasses again, avoiding eye contact with his brother. Simon’s expression softens at Samuel’s remorseful tone.
Simon: you don’t have to shoulder everything on your own sam. We’re in this together. Your health and wellbeing are important to me, so please don’t keep things from me ever again.
He gently puts a hand on Samuel’s shoulder, his expression firm but caring. Simon sighs, his expression softening.
Simon: Sammy, you know you can always talk to me about anything. I’m here to support you, not judge you
He reaches his hand out to gently nudge his chin up, forcing them make eye contact. He paused, his gaze softening as he looked at Sammy.
Simon: I’m going to keep checking on you to make sure, okay?
as simon couldn’t help but smile at his fraternal twin little brother’s determination and somewhat cautious nature, understanding the reason behind it. He knew Sammy has always been more sensitive when it came to his health. Sam gives a slight shrug and grins
Samuel: hehe ok, i guess that’s fair si , I can’t stop you from being so protective can I ? since i made you so worry about it but really don’t worry, I’ll be fine ! . These glasses might be a bit annoying but if they help fix my vision on my left eye, I’ll wear them as long as it takes
Simon laughs softly and let out a soft sigh, his expression a mix of concern and amusement. He was used to Sammy’s tendency to downplay his health concerns, but he knew that it was just his way of dealing with things. Simon’s expression turns serious at Samuel’s carefree words.
Simon: I know you’re trying to downplay it, but I’m not just going to forget about it, Sammy. You can’t keep brushing off your health like it doesn’t matter.
He crosses his arms, his concern evident in his voice.
Simon: im serious Sam. And don’t try to hide anything else from me from now on. I want to know if anything is bothering you
He gave Samuel a stern but loving look, making it clear that he was serious.
Simon: let me know if anything else comes up alright ?.
He gives his brother a light nudge on the shoulder, then ruffles his hair again
Samuel: h-hey come on bro, not the hair again ^^
Simon chuckles, a smug grin on his face as he makes another attempt to ruffle Samuel’s hair, teasing him playfully. Samuel blushes pale pink as Simon continues to ruffle his hair and he sighs
Samuel: i just fixed the hair and bangs.
Simon chuckles at Samuel’s playful resistance.
Simon: Oh, come on now, Sammy. You know I can’t resist your adorable fluffed up hair.
He ruffles it again for emphasis, enjoying the way Samuel blushes in response.
Simon: besides I warned you before. You know I can’t resist messing up your hair. It’s just too fun.
Simon grins at his blushing little Brother . Samuel’s blush intensifies, but he can’t help but laugh at Simon’s playful teasing.
Samuel: You’re insufferable, you know that? Can you just leave my hair alone? I just fixed it !
He tries to swat away Simon’s hand, but his attempts are half-hearted. Secretly, he kind of likes the attention.
Simon: Oh come on, you know you secretly enjoy it when I mess with your hair. Your blushing says it all.
Samuel can’t help but feel a mix of annoyance and affection towards Simon’s constant hair ruffling. Despite his protests, he secretly enjoys the attention, and he knows that Simon’s heart is in the right place.
Samuel: Ugh, Simon, seriously. You’re so annoying.
He tries to sound annoyed, but he couldn’t help but let out a small smile. Simon ruffles his hair again for good measure, enjoying the reaction he gets out of Samuel as he tells him to promise that he will be more careful and take good care of himself especially mentioning about eating lots of fruits and vitamins, Samuel giggles a bit as Simon ruffles his hair more, feeling a mix of irritation and brotherly affection. He knew that his older twin brother was just looking out for him, but sometimes it could be a bit overbearing.
Samuel: Yeah, yeah, I promise to take better care of myself. I’ll eat more fruit and vitamins, I swear..your starting to sound like our dad and step mother
He rolled his eyes playfully, but there was a hint of appreciation in his tone for Simon’s concern. After a few ruffles the two brothers then holds hands together as they go to walk to the store together. their hands intertwined, guiding him forward as they make their way to the store. They walk along, chatting quietly
Simon: So, once we’re at the store, is there anything specific you want to check out or buy?
sam thinks for a moment as he tries to consider of what to get at the store
Samuel: maybe some new clothes, what about you ?
Simon thinks for a moment, considering
Simon: I could use some new books
He laughs a little
Simon: Although I’m not as into clothes shopping as you are.
I based jessica 80's outfit off of these ideas ( in case you guys are wondering what her full outfit would sort of look like 😅) obviously she wears the blue jeans like jacket, pink bow, pink and green bead necklaces, diamond shape earrings, colorful rings around her wrists, pink Or different color leg warmers etc

After the cheesy joke that Sammy has made to try and lift up Simon's mood, his distraction goes straight to the antiques that were not behind the glass
Samuel: hey si ! do you mind if i take a look at those antiques over there ?
Simon looks over at the antiques Samuel is referring to.
Simon: Sure, go ahead sam. Just be careful not to touch anything. He smiles at his brother's interest in antiques.
Simon watches Sammy as he looks at the antiques his adoptive father he found and purchased during some of his expedition trips, he knows his brother has always been interested in them since childhood but Simon also knows how sam can be when he's a bit reckless and childish
Simon: oh just don't touch anything breakable, alright ? Some of these items are priceless and i don't want you being reckless again and ending up breaking things you can't pay yourself
Samuel rolls his eyes at Simon's warning.
Samuel: Relax, si. I won't break anything this time, I promise.
Simon nods, trusting his younger brother's word.
Simon: "Alright, I trust you. Just take a look around, but be careful please.
Simon was lost in thought at first but was snapped out of his dark thoughts and depression cause of Sammy's presence. Despite his dark thoughts of the moment, a small sense of relief washes over him as he sees his twin brother enjoying himself in the shop. At least he has his fraternal twin little brother Samuel who truly cares for him and actually wants to see him. He watches as Sammy starts exploring the antique shop, taking in the different artifacts and historical items on display.Sam looks around as he always enjoys the numerous artifacts on displays since some Or most of them seem to be magical and he compliments on his twin brother
Samuel: wow Simon you really have a lot of cool ancient magic artifacts around here ! i wonder what kind of powers they all have
simon chuckles before bursting out laughing with one hand on his chest, shaking his head a little
Simon: Hahahahaha ! oh my glob, you can't be serious right sammy ?
he continues laughing til tears forms in his eyes
Simon: i mean seriously, you can’t honestly believe in this stuff can you sammy ?? i don't believe in magic/super natural things, it's scientifically impossible and doesn’t make any sense.
He continues laughing as he adds another comment to try to give his poor sweet naive little brother common sense about the whole thing
Simon: All these artifacts are just historical items of art and culture with no supernatural powers. It may look like they have magic to you, but there's always a rational explanation for everything. It's just a made-up concept in fairy tales and stories.
He wipes the tear away as he tries to get back to his calm composure as he crosses his arms, confident in his atheistic stance on the supernatural. he chuckles and laughs as he sighs, shaking his head again. He's used to Sammy's childish delusions, but still tries to reason with him as Sammy rolls his eyes with a smirk
Samuel: boooring ! What's not to believe? You do science what's the difference?
Simon clears his throat
Simon: Huge! For one thing, science is something you study and practice. It only happens when you decide to do it, and it's meant to make something specific that you choose to happen, happen. With you, uh, it makes no sense at all !
Simon rolls his eyes at Sammy's stubbornness, but playfully retaliates and Sammy pretends to yawn at simon's logical explanation
Simon: "The difference is that science is backed by evidence and actual facts, while believing in supernatural stuff is just a product of overactive imaginations and wishful thinking. Supernatural and magic are just for fairytales
He crosses his arms, still amused by Samuel's insistence on believing in "supernatural" and "magic" Samuel rolls his eyes again, clearly not convinced.
Samuel: "Yeah, yeah, I get it. You're all logical and scientific. But just because something can't be explained by science doesn't mean it's not real. There are things in this world that can't be explained or understood by the laws of nature.
He crosses his arms as well, his demeanor stubborn and challenging. Samuel can't help but chuckle at Simon's serious demeanor.
Samuel: "You sound like a textbook, Simon. Where's your sense of wonder and excitement?
He playfully jabs at his brother's scientific mindset. Simon can't help but chuckle at Samuel's exaggerated reaction.
Simon: "Oh, come on, Sammy. You know I'm just being realistic here. We live in a world of logic and science, not fairytales and magic.
Samuel pouts, unimpressed by Simon's lack of imagination.
Samuel: "Well, excuse me for having an open mind. You're just boring, that's all.
He pretends feigning annoyance. Simon rolls his eyes, playfully mock-offended.
Simon: "Oh, I'm boring, am I? Excuse me for valuing evidence and reason. At least I don't believe in vampires, werewolves, unicorns, goblins, trolls and wizards .
He teases back, amused by their banter. Samuel lets out an exaggerated gasp, clutching his chest dramatically.
Samuel: "How dare you make fun and insult my belief and interests in folklore and mythology ! Not to mention magical creatures !!. Those creatures might not exist in your boring logical world, but they're still pretty cool. They're very real, I tell you! All those late-night documentaries I watched can't be lying!
He feigns offense, enjoying their playful banter. Simon smirks, enjoying their friendly argument.
Simon: "Right, right. Because late-night documentaries are the pinnacle of reliable information. I forgot.
He teases Samuel with sarcasm. Simon can't help but laugh at Samuel's dramatic reaction.
Simon: "Oh, please, Sammy. Those late-night documentaries are just entertainment. They're not evidence. And I hate to break it to you, but those "magical " creatures are made-up. They're not real."
Samuel pretends to be offended by Simon's response.
Samuel: Don't pretend like you don't have a bit of imagination in you.
He playfully pokes Simon's arm, still determined to convince him to see things from his perspective. Simon chuckles, still amused by Samuel's persistence.
Simon: "Oh, I have an imagination, alright. But it's grounded in reality, not fairytales
He crosses his arms as he runs his hand through his hair, still maintaining his logical stance.
Simon: "What's even the point in believing in something that can't be proven or cannot be explained ? It's just a waste of time.
Sammy pretends to yawn at Simon's boring lecture
Samuel: yawn ! and your superstitions is something better to believe in ? talk about ridiculous if you ask me
teases his brother, Simon smirks as he is enjoying their playful banter.
Simon: "Oh, please. You're the one believing in, and i quote " magic" and "supernatural " stuff. That's the real ridiculous thing here.
Simon rolls his eyes at Samuel's sarcastic remark.
Simon: "At least my superstitions have some logic behind them.
He knows that calling superstitions “logical” is ironic, but he's dead set on proving his point.
Simon: "I mean, there's a reason we knock on wood, avoid black cats 🐈‍⬛ or avoid walking under ladders. It's not just because we think it'll bring us bad luck. It's also just a precaution.
Simon rolls his eyes again.
Simon: "At least I'm not naive enough to believe in ghosts, wizards, goblins, vampires and other mythical creatures. They're just figments of imagination.
He smirks, still enjoying the banter and their opposing viewpoints. Samuel lets out an exaggerated sigh, clearly not conceding.
Samuel: "Oh, please. You're such a kill-joy Si. You really don't have any sense of mystery or wonder. You're so wrapped up in your logical, scientific world.
He crosses his arms again, still determined to challenge Simon's rational mindset.
Samuel: "You know, sometimes it's nice to believe in something magical and unexplainable. It adds a little bit of excitement to life.
Simon rolls his eyes once more, not backing down.
Simon: Excitement? More like delusions.
He smirks, still enjoying their debate.
Simon: I prefer facts and evidence. That's the way the world works. Not silly " supernaturals " and "magic."
sam seems a little disappointed deep down about Simon's logic on things especially feeling like his older twin is basically calling him foolish for his beliefs and imagination but he still likes the antiques in his uncle's shop especially takes a particular liking to a ice ninja book that is currently in a locking book shelf like case as he slightly runs towards it and stands in front of the antique artifact .
Samuel: hey Simon ! you remember when we were kids playing with this ice ninja book behind yuily's back ! it was so much fun and awesome ! at least back then you thought it cool playing and summoning ice weapons
Simon can't help but chuckle as he recalls the memories of their childhood antics, especially with the ice ninja book.
Simon: "Oh yeah, I remember that book. We had so much fun playing with it. It's a wonder we never got caught by yuily back then.
He looks at the ice ninja book in the locked bookshelf, a sense of nostalgia washing over him.
Samuel: you say you don't believe in magic or supernatural but how do you explain the book allowing us to summon ice ninja weapons hm ?
Sam crosses his arms giving him a little grin as simon raises an eyebrow at Sammy's question, a hint of hesitation in his response before he smirks raising his index finger in the air
Simon: "Well, that's easy ! i suppose that book has some... Scientific properties that allow us to summon those ice ninja weapons. But that doesn’t mean "magic" is real. There must be a logical explanation behind it that our kid minds couldn't understand back then.
He tries to sound rational, Simon clears his throat
Simon: "It's just some kind of science, It's not real "magic", nothing more
He glances at the locked bookshelf again, now feeling a tiny hint of uncertainty about his rational skepticism. Sam snickers as he starts mocking him
Samuel: blah blah blah..man taking the fun out of everything when you talk about science smart stuff
he pretends to be annoyed and he smiles Simon can't help but chuckle at his little brother's mock annoyance. He knows how much Sammy enjoys a bit of fantasy and fun.
Simon: "Hey, someone's gotta keep things logical around here. I just don't want you growing up and still thinking magic is real, you dreamer."
Simon smiles faintly as he notices his younger brother's attempt to lighten the mood, appreciating his efforts.

Sometime later the next week, yuily has his bags ready to leave and he gazes at Simon
Yuily: I'm leaving now, make sure you take care of the shop while i'm gone
Simon nods his head, listening to his "father's" instructions. He knows very well what's expected of him and has a serious expression but tries not to cause an argument by reassuring him trying to hide his slight frustration with the strict rules and restrictions
Simon: " don't worry father, i will..I'll make sure everything runs smoothly here while you're away..you don't have to remind me."
Yuily, notices the slight hint of frustration in Simon's voice, but he chooses not to comment on it. Instead, he simply nods.
Yuily: and no goofing or slacking off, i mean it Simon..nothing better not be stolen or broken when i come back
Simon groans as he sighs
Simon: yeah i know this dad, i have ran this shop multiple times so don't worry
Simon reminds his "father" as he adds
Simon: you know...you don't have to tell me the instructions everytime you leave for an expedition trip, i already know what to do by now, i have been doing this since i was kid...
Yuily nods, seeming satisfied with Simon's response
Yuily: "Yes, I know you have been doing this for a long time, Simon. But still, things can always go wrong...I'm just making sure that nothing goes awry while I'm away. I trust you, but i want to make sure you know how important it is to keep this place running smoothly.
He looks at his nephew with a mixture of concern and sternness despite his reassurance, yuily still looks skeptical, which to Simon's perceptive, he feels like his "father" still doesn't fully trust him to run the shop on his own even though he has been doing this for years ever since he was a child when he got old enough to be able to run the shop himself which adds to Simon's frustration more but he continues to hide it to prevent any arguments Yuily takes a deep breath and he sighs as he rubs his fingers through his bangs
Yuily: just..make sure you don't mess anything up while I'm gone simon. Running this shop is a big responsibility and i don't want to come back to any issues
Simon resists the urge to roll his eyes at his "father's" constant reminders, feeling slightly annoyed at the lack of trust yuily has in him despite his years of experience. He forces a smile and nods politely as he claps his hands together
Simon: "Of course, Father. I'll make sure everything runs smoothly while you're away. You don't have to worry about anything.
He tries to keep his voice even and respectful, despite the growing frustration he feels from the constant need to prove himself to his adoptive father. Yuily crosses his arms, still looking at Simon's with a stoic expression, not wanting to admit deep down that he's slightly worried about leaving his "son" in charge in his absence. Simon holds his ground and meets his "father's" gaze with a steady expression of his own, trying to convey confidence and experience despite the exhaustion he feels He tries to reassure his adoptive father again, masking the fatigue and frustration still putting up a force smile and cheerful tone, he feels from dealing with the constant need to prove himself to him. Yuily rubs his fingers through his bangs again and he keeps his stoic stern expression as he grabs his suitcase and traveling backpack and is about to walk out the door
Yuily hesitates at the door for a moment before turning to look at Simon one last time, his expression hardening a bit
Yuily: "Just don't forget that this is your responsibility, Simon. I expect everything to be in order when I get back.
He tries to keep his voice calm and firm but a small hint of concern is clear in his eyes as he looks at his adoptive son. Despite feeling tired and frustrated, he holds back a sigh and keeps up with the small, polite smile
Simon: " i know, i won't. Have a safe trip, father. I hope your expedition goes well. And don't worry ill make sure everything is in order with the customers.
He forces a smile, trying to hide the exhaustion he feels from dealing with the constant need to prove himself to his adoptive "father" yuily and tries to sound genuinely supportive, but he cant help but feel a mixture of relief and uneasiness at the thought of being left alone to run the shop for two to three weeks. He tries to keep his cool, knowing that any argument with him would be pointless. Yuily nods curtly, his expression still stoic but eyes showing a mixture of concern before he turns to leave and walk out the door
Yuily: "You better.
Simon watches as his adoptive father leaves, unable to hold back a deep sigh of annoyance and relief once the door closes shut . He finally has the shop to himself for two-three weeks without having to be constantly watched over and given constant instructions . The burden and weight of responsibility lifts from his shoulders. He takes a deep breath to calm himself , trying to regain his composure. Simon has always felt like he was never important or valued as a person , rather than just a tool or object his father could use to help him make money by running the shop He glances up at the ceiling with a frustrated look , wishing for just a moment of peace from the constant pressure. Simon frowns, his annoyance growing with every passing minute. He can't shake off the feeling of being underestimated and undervalued by his so called ‘father’. He crosses his arms, clearly frustrated with the situation.
Simon: "Why does he always treat me like I can't handle things? I manage this shop better than he ever does when he's away. And he still doesn't trust me not to mess things up."
He clenches his fists, his thoughts consumed by bitterness. Simon is really offended when yuily claimed to not goof or sneak off , when he should know full well that he always stays in the store by himself running things with his grandmother and making sure things don't get stolen or broken..even though he is always tempted to sneak away for a bit but never goes through with it since he doesn't want another argument again. Simon grits his teeth as he thinks about Yuily's accusations. He knows that he's been diligent about the store, yet he's still treated like a child who can't be trusted.
Simon: "As if he doesn't know that I've managed the store on my own before. I've never stolen or broken anything, and I certainly don't goof around. I take my responsibilities seriously."
He clenches his fists even tighter, his frustration palpable. as he looked up at the ceiling again, Simon continues to rub his head as he mutters to himself
Simon: just once...just once ! , would it hurt him to show a bit of trust in me ? or at least show me some parental love and care between father and son before he left ?..he could have acted like he cared about me for once in his life...
As he sat there stewing in his frustration and hurt, his mind kept replacing the recent scent with his adoptive father/uncle over and over again, he couldn't help but feel like he was always dismissed as meaningless by him every time yuily gives him constant reminders despite him not asking for it all the time
Simon: he never shows any signs of compassion or love like a real father would, but it's no wonder..after all, what do i expect it's not like I'm his real son anyway, only just a nephew who was given to my uncle who is trying to be my "father" to be raised
He adds
Simon: i wouldn't doubt if he only sees me as nothing more than an obligation, a burden he was stuck with ...im just one of his many antiques that he owns
he feels a surge of loneliness and despair coursing through him, as he is left alone in the shop with his emotions. samuel visits the antique store where his twin big brother simon lives. he contacts him with his walkie talkie as he looks at the shop window
Samuel: hey there big brother ! look who's here to pay a visit like i promised, over ! ^^
The walkie talkie suddenly crackling to life interrupts Simon’s thoughts. His face lights up when he hears Sammy’s voice on the other side.
Simon: “Hey Sammy. You made it! ”
He glances out the store front and spots his little brother standing outside. Simon takes the walkie talkie from the counter and answers it as he walks towards the door to open it Samuel's face lights up when he sees Simon approach the store front. He watches as his brother unlocks the door and opens it to welcome him in.Samuel grins and raises the walkie talkie to respond
Samuel: You bet I did! I said I'd visit, didn't I ? is uncle yuily still here ? or has he already left ? i don't want to bump into him and cause a huge argument again, over !
Simon can sense the hint of worry in Samuel's voice, understanding Samuel's concern about avoiding another argument with uncle yuily who is also his so called "father" Simon shakes his head, a relieved sigh escaping his lips.
Simon: "No need to worry, Sammy. My "father" left couple minutes ago. It's just us here now. You don't have to worry about bumping into him this time."
He gestures for Samuel to come inside the antique shop.
Samuel: alright thanks ! over !
he enters the shop as his eyes widens with amazement as it sparkles
Samuel: i know i say this a lot but i love coming to your place simon it's so cool !
Simon grins, amused by his brother's excitement.
Simon: "I know, I know. You always say that every time you come here."
He closes the door behind Sammy and chuckles, appreciating his brother's enthusiasm.
Samuel gives his older brother a small smile, sensing that something is troubling him, but being tactful and knowing not to press the matter at the moment. He looks at him closely, concern in his eyes
Samuel: "Hey, Simon. You look tired. Are you alright ? i hope i didn't show up at a wrong time
He asks the question as delicately as possible, wanting to give his older brother a safe space to express himself without judgement if he wishes to. Simon places both of his hands on his face as his rubs his fingers all the way to his hair and he takes a deep breath. Simon walks behind the counter as he brushes his hair back anxiously. Sammy noticed, but could not find the words to ask if Simon was alright. Simon looks at his younger brother with exhaustion, noticing his concern for him, but trying to keep his expression neutral. Among the silence of the room, Simon speaks up."
Simon: "It's just...things have been a bit stressful lately, that's all..don't worry about it
He tries to keep things vague and simple, not wanting to burden his brother with his problems, knowing that his younger brother has his own struggles to deal with and doesn't want to add any more stress to him. Samuel can see through Simon's neutral expression and sense that there is more to the story than he is letting on. However, he also knows that pushing the issue would only cause more strain between them, so he decides to shift the conversation in order to try and keep the mood light.
Samuel: "Hey, wanna hear a joke?
he asks, a small smile tugging at the corners of his mouth, trying to ease the tension between them. Simon smiles faintly as he notices his younger brother's attempt to lighten the mood, appreciating his efforts.
Simon: "Sure, why not? I could use a laugh"He responds, hoping that the joke will help him shift his attention away from his troubled thoughts, even for a little while
Sam cleared his throat as he rubs his hands together Samuel: what did the bee 🐝 say to the hedgehog 🦔?
Simon cocked his head to the side, curious about the punchline
Simon: "Hmm, I don't know sammy. What did the bee say to the hedgehog?"
Sam grins widely
Samuel: bee 🐝 careful ! get it ?
he couldn't help but laugh at his own punchline
Despite himself, Simon couldn't help but crack a small smile at his younger brother's cheesy joke. The tension in his shoulders eases a bit.
Simon: "That was...a bee-tiful joke, Sammy. You really have a *sharp* sense of humor
"He responds, playing along with the pun, grateful for the brief moment of levity
Sam does a flamboyant pose as he places his hand on his bangs with a grin
Samuel: why thanks si ! im a natural when telling funny jokes ^^ :) you know me so well

Simon: you know Sammy, i would like to go to the aquarium sometime. Just to unwind and relax a bit
Sammy turns his attention to his brother and notices the weary expression in his eyes. He looks at the direction that Simon is looking at and sees the aquarium. Samuel smiles at his twin as he feels a pang of nostalgia. He looks at his twin brother, noticing the slight exhaustion in his face. he realizes that his brother is probably in dire need of some R&R.
Sammy: "You know what, Simon? If you want to go to the aquarium, why not go right now?
He smiles, suggesting that they could head to the aquarium together to help his brother relax for a little bit. Sammy knows that his brother has been working hard lately back at the antique shop and could definitely use a break. Simon turns to look at his twin little brother with his eyes widens in surprise
Simon: really Sam ? i mean right now? the sky is already starting to get dark
Samuel gives his brother a reassuring smile and nods. He knows that his brother has been working hard and could use a break.
Sammy: Yeah, why not? It's still early evening, and the aquarium is open until late. Plus, the night sky is beautiful.
He playfully nudges his brother, trying to coax him into agreeing.
Sammy: Come on, you could use a little R&R. And what better way to unwind than watching fish swim around? look on the plus side, the aquarium will be less crowded.
He grins, knowing that his brother is probably too tired to argue or protest at this point. simon thinks for a moment to Sammy's remark and he smiled back tiredly as he knew his little brother had a point
Simon: I suppose your right Sammy
Samuel's smile widens as he hears his brother agree, knowing that he has convinced him to take a break.
Sammy: "See? I know what i'm talking about."
He grins, feeling quite proud of himself for convincing his brother to go to the aquarium. He knows that it will help him unwind and relax, even if just for a little while.
Sammy: "Now let's go, before they close."
He grabs Simon's hand and starts tugging him towards the direction of the aquarium. Sammy was more than happy to help provide some distraction and relaxation for his fraternal twin big brother. Simon chuckles as he enjoys seeing his twin little brother tugging him towards the direction of the aquarium since sam was only trying to help but then his mood shifts as he remembers his responsibilities at the antique shop. his smile fades away and turns into sort of frustrated look as his eyes widens and he stops in his tracks making sam stop to turn to look at simon. Samuel turns around, curious as to why his brother suddenly stopped in his tracks. He looks at Simon's widened eyes with concern.
Sammy: "Hey, what's wrong?"
He lets go of his brother's hand and approaches him, noticing the change in expression on Simon's face. Simon sighs and places his hand on his head shaking it with frustration
Simon: i totally forgot, i can't go to the aquarium now Sam. I have to prepare to watch and look after the antique shop this coming week while my “dad” is away at a expedition to search and find a mysterious artifact..
He sighs and groans as he looks off to the side
Simon: again….I swear, it seems like he's always gone.
He scowls, clearly not happy about being stuck working at the shop again. Samuel's expression softens as he listens to his brother's frustration. He knows how his brother feels, sometimes his uncle yuily can be hard and strict sometimes on Simon not always burdening him with responsibilities not letting him have fun or relax since he is basically his adoptive father and even though simon has to follow and obey him, sam can't help but feel sorry for his twin and wishes there was something he could do to make things easier for him.
Samuel: again ? i thought he just got back from a expedition recently and he's already going to another one ?..I know how strict Uncle Yuily can be, especially when it comes to you and the antique shop. But i wish he would give you a break at least.
He looks at his brother with concern, feeling bad for his current state. Simon nods, clearly frustrated.
Simon: "Yeah, you'd think he'd be around here more often, but nope. But as soon as he gets back, he's packing his bags and heading off again. It's like he's more interested in finding artifacts than spending time at home."
He sighs, running a hand through his hair. Samuel nods in understanding, knowing how tough it can be for Simon to always prioritize the antique shop over anything else. Sammy sympathizes with his brother, realizing that Simon's freedom is limited due to their strict uncle and he rubs his brother's arm, trying to provide some comfort and Understanding
Samuel: you know, you could still take a break. It's not healthy to overwork yourself all the time Simon.
Simon looks at his brother with a tired expression and he knows that his brother is right. He rubs his head more weary from the constant pressure of having to run the antique shop by himself.
Simon: "I know, I know. But you know how my "father" is. He expects the shop to be running flawlessly even when he's away. I don't think he'd be too thrilled if he found out I went to the aquarium when i should be getting back to the shop before his expedition trip this coming week .
He sighs, feeling stuck between a rock and a hard place. Samuel can see the fatigue in his brother's expression and feels his pain. He knows how demanding their uncle can be and how he expects everything to be perfect, without any room for leeway or mistakes.
Sammy: "I get it. I get you're stuck between a rock and a hard place. But you're a person, not some antique shop owner.
He sighs as he places his hand on his shoulder
Samuel: im really sorry simon.. i know how demanding Uncle Yuily can be towards you. But you can't let him control every aspect of your life. You deserve time to unwind and let loose even for just one night and his expedition trip isn't til 3-4 more days... maybe you could…idk sneak away from the shop for just a tiny bit ? you can always close the store til you get back
Simon feels a sense of gratitude towards his brother, appreciating his understanding and support. He knows that Samuel is right, that he shouldn't let their uncle dictate every aspect of his life. Simon thinks about for a moment but decides not to take that risk cause he doesn't want his so called adoptive dad yuily to find out he's been fooling around instead of attending the antique shop
Simon: "I want to, believe me. But you know how he gets if things aren't exactly how he wants them to be. Plus, someone has to watch the store, you know?”
He rubs his head, struggling with the conflicting desires of wanting to unwind but also not wanting to risk upsetting their uncle. Simon looks at his little brother and listens to his words as he feels his exhaustion settling more. He leans against Sammy, feeling heavy and exhausted from his constant work at the shop. He sighs heavily, knowing Sam is right.
Simon: "It's just hard sometimes. he always expect everything to be perfect, no matter how exhausted i am. It's like he doesn't even see me as a person and only sees me as some old antique that he owns and belongs in his antique shop..
Sam thinks for a bit
Samuel: hm...how long is uncle yuily supposed to be away on his expedition trip and where is he going anyway ?
Simon continues to lean against his little brother, feeling a sense of comfort and support from Samuel's presence. Simon's exhaustion is clear in his voice feeling the weight of his responsibilities. He struggles with the feeling of being treated more like an object than a person by their uncle. He takes a moment to regain his composure before answering Samuel's question.
Simon: "According to him, he's going to be away for about two weeks depending how long it takes for the search, it might be three weeks And as for where he's going, he only said about going to paris but didn't give me the specifics, just that it's for some new archeological expedition.
Simon sighs, feeling a little annoyed at his uncle's lack of transparency. Sammy thinks for a bit after finding out how long uncle yuily would be away and he comes up with an idea snapping his finger
Samuel: well that's the case then, how about we go to the aquarium once uncle yuily is gone for his trip ?
Simon gazes at his brother, as much as he wants to go to the aquarium to finally relax and have fun the coming week, he knows he has to watch the shop and deal with customers while his adoptive "father" is on his expedition trip. Simon considers his brother's suggestion and he is quite tempted by it. But he knows that it's not that simple. He sighs and frowns at his brother, still leaning against him.
Simon: "I appreciate the thought Sam, but… the shop. I have to watch over it while "father" is gone."
He rubs his forehead, feeling torn between his desire to go to the aquarium and his obligation to the antique shop.
Simon: "I appreciate your idea, Sammy. Really I do. Going to the aquarium would be amazing and i need a break badly, but you know I can't just leave the shop for a day. I have to make sure everything's in order while he's on his expedition.
He sighs, which Sammy nudges his arm again
Samuel: oh come on Simon, uncle yuily won't even know your not at the shop cause he would be away busy on his expedition trip for those two or three weeks depending. we can still go to the aquarium together and have some fun once the shop is closed, it's not like uncle yuily said that you can't have a break during closing hours right ?
Simon looks at his brother, his expression softening as his words sink in. He can see the earnestness in his brother's face, knowing that he is just trying to help him find some sort of release from his responsibilities. Sam's words start to make a compelling argument.
Simon: You have a point, Sammy. my so called "father" didn't say I can't have a break after closing hours. And it's just be for one night.
Simon begins to waver, conflicted between his responsibilities and his desire for a break.
Simon: but at same time...idk...
he sighs not knowing what to choose
Samuel: hm……i know ! how about i come visit you at the store then first ? at least once he's gone i mean since im not really allowed to stay and chat with you when he's around
Simon perks up at that suggestion, his frown turning into a small smile.
Simon: "You'd really come visit me at the store? That would be great. It gets pretty lonely there when I'm alone."
He looks at his little brother appreciatively, his mood lifting a bit at the thought of having some company at the store.
Samuel: of course ^^ your my big brother and besides i like the stuff that's in there anyways
Simon grins, clearly touched by his little brother's support. Simon chuckles at his brother's confident tone, knowing that Samuel always had a way of making him see things from a different perspective.
Simon: "Thanks, Sammy. It means a lot. And you do have a pretty weird taste in stuff, that's for sure."
He playfully ruffles Sammy's hair, amused by his brother's interest in antique items.
Simon: "You know something, you're pretty good at this whole persuading me thing sam
he smiles playfully at his twin brother
Samuel: heck yeah i am, i try ! I know I can be quite persuasive sometimes big brother, that's my specialty.
he does a flamboyant charismatic pose as he smirks
Samuel: and since your technically running the shop for those weeks, you can easily close the shop early if you want to have some more relaxation fun time ^^
Simon chuckles at Samuel's charismatic pose.
Simon: "Oh, I have no doubt about your persuasive skills, Sammy. You're quite the charmer.
He smirks at his brother's suggestion.
Simon: "You know, you make a good point there. I guess maybe it wouldn't hurt...i could close the shop early...and have a little more time to relax, just for one night
Sammy then Snickers a bit and pats his brother's back , knocking his glasses down a little
Samuel: I know I'm right !
A small smile starts to form on simon's weary face as he pushes his glasses back in place as Samuel's words begin to have an effect on him. He can sense his own excitement starting to build at the prospect of finally having a break.
Simon: You never cease to amaze me, Sammy. It's like you know just how to get me to agree to your ideas.
He playfully ruffles Samuel's hair.
Simon: Alright, alright. You've convinced me. We'll go to the aquarium once my "father" is gone on his trip. But only one night, alright Sammy ?
Samuel grins widely with glee with Simon accepting the idea, feeling a sense of success in convincing his older brother to have some time for himself. he chuckled at being ruffled on the head, knowing that it's a rare show of affection from his brother.
Samuel: "Awesome! I knew you'd see it my way"
he pats his brother's back again
Samuel: and don't worry, just one night. We'll make it count."
Samuel grins victoriously as he sees the change in Simon's expression, knowing that his words had a positive effect. and when Simon ruffles his hair some more, he giggles at the playful gesture and he blushes

Samuel: hey Simon !
eating with his spoon
Samuel: you want to try the ice cream sundae i got ? it’s really delicious !
simon shakes his head as he watches his brother chow down on the ice cream sundae and declines the offer.
Simon: No thanks, sammy. I'm on a diet at the moment, so I'm trying to avoid sweets.
He takes a bite of his salad, enjoying the light, healthy snack. But he can't help but raise an eyebrow at the sheer amount of ice cream and toppings on Samuel's sundae. Sam eyes widens with surprise as he didn't expect his twin brother to take a break from sweets since he was a sweet tooth like himself and leans against the table
Samuel: wait seriously simon ?? since when did you start doing the boring diet thing ? cause the last time i saw you eating desserts and candy was about a few days ago and you didn't tell me you were starting to go on a diet at all..
Simon chuckled at his brother's reaction, realizing he hadn't mentioned his decision to cut back on sweets to him beforehand. Simon smiles, realizing he has some explaining to do.
Simon: Oh, right. I did forget to tell you about that. I recently decided to go on a diet and start eating healthier and watching my sugar intake. So, I'm trying to cut back on sweets and junk food for a while.
He takes another bite of his salad, still amused by Samuel's reaction. He leaned back in his chair, a bit amused by the surprise look on his twin brother's face. Samuel looks at Simon's salad with a mix of surprise and concern. He's not used to seeing his twin brother making healthier choices as he was surprised by Simon's sudden dietary change. He asks with a hint of skepticism in his voice, still eyeing the salad.
Samuel: Wait, wait. You're actually trying to eat healthy now? Like, willingly ?
He can't help but be skeptical, knowing how much his twin brother loved sweets. Simon chuckles at Samuel's skepticism.
Simon: I know it's hard to believe, but yes, I am actually trying to eat healthier since I've been doing some research lately and realize how sweets is not that good for you when you consume too much
He takes another bite of his salad, watching Samuel's reaction. Samuel pouts a little, clearly disappointed.
Samuel: But... but what about our late night ice cream and candy binge adventures ?
He looks at Simon with a mix of disappointment and pleading. Simon notices Samuel's dejected expression and the pout on his face. He chuckles gently and pats Samuel's head.
Simon: Oh, don't worry, Sammy. We're definitely still going on our late night ice cream and candy binge adventures. I'm just trying to cut back on sweets a bit, that's all.
He gives his brother a reassuring smile. Samuel's expression brightens at Simon's reassurance.
Samuel: Wait, really ? even though you're trying to be healthy?
He looks up at Simon with a mix of hope and excitement. Simon chuckles at Samuel's enthusiasm.
Simon: Of course, Sammy. Those late-night adventures are sacred. We can still have our ice cream and candy binges, just maybe not as often and not consume too much
He grins, knowing how much the thought of sweets still excited his brother. Samuel's eyes light up at the mention of ice cream and candy binges. Despite growing up, his love for sweet treats never fades.
Samuel: Yay! But wait, what do you mean not as often ?
He pouts, realizing that their indulgences might be slightly limited. Simon laughs at Samuel's pouting expression. He knows how much his brother loves sweets, but he also wants to look out for his health.
Simon: Calm down, Sammy. I just mean that we can't eat sweets every day. We need to have a healthy diet too, remember? besides we're not kids anymore, we can't just eat sweets all the time and expect our bodies to keep up.
He tries to reason with his twin brother playfully.
Simon: You really like your sweets, don't you ?
Samuel's expression brightens at the mention of sweets. He can't help but grin,
Samuel: mhm !! course I do! Who doesn't like sweets? ! the hot fudge and peanut butter really go well with this ice cream ! you don't know what your missing big brother
Simon laughs, amused by his brother's enthusiasm.
Simon: Oh, I think I have a pretty good idea of what I'm missing. But I have to stay disciplined, sammy No sweets for me right now.
He takes another bite of his salad, trying to distract himself from the tempting ice cream sundae Samuel is enjoying. Samuel is surprise and he scoffs
Samuel: that's lame
he takes another spoonful of his sundae
Samuel: and why would you even need to be on a diet anyway since you still look good still to me and it's not like your gaining weight or anything
simon chuckles as he shakes his head. Samuel's question made Simon pause for a moment as he did appreciate his brother's compliment, and tells his younger twin brother sammy that even though sweets/sugar can cause weight gain that’s not his main reasons on going on a diet and mentions that he’s been researching something’s and of why he’s doing the whole diet thing like diabetes, heart disease , high blood pressure and high cholesterol etc Simon can't help but laugh at his brother's reaction, calling his diet as "lame" and "boring even though he had personal reasons for starting the diet.
Simon: I'm not on a diet because I need to lose weight or anything. It's mostly for health reasons. Sweets can be unhealthy if you consume too much.
He took another bite of his salad, still resisting the tempting sundae in front of him.He smiled at his twin brother, hoping he would understand his motivation.
Simon: and it's not lame or boring, it's about being healthy and taking care of yourself. And it's not just about weight gain, you know. There are lots of health issues that can come from eating too much sugar and unhealthy foods.
He takes another bite of his salad, then looks at his brother sincerely.
Samuel: hey come on it's not like you eat the same amount of sweets like i do ^^ you still look healthy to me
Simon nods, appreciating his brother's concern.
Simon: sammy, look healthy and feel healthy are two different things. Sure, I may look fine, but I want to make sure I feel great, too. Besides, it's not like I'm depriving myself of all sweets forever, just taking a bit of a break from them.
He finishes his salad with a shrug, clearly enjoying the conversation with his little brother.simon then looks at Sammy eating his overly sweet sundae and he sighs but with a smile
Simon: You know, you're the one who should be on a diet, little brother. That sundae is almost as big as your head. You're probably eating more sugar right now than I eat in a week.
He teases him, shaking his head in amusement. Samuel smirks as he chuckles pretending to be frustrated. Samuel was slightly taken aback by his brother's comment. He hadn't expected to be called out on his sweet intake, especially since he had always believed he had a good metabolism.
Sammy: What? Me ? I don't think I need to be on a diet. I'm active and I have a good metabolism, right ?
Simon nodded, but he wasn't convinced.
Simon: I know you stay active, but your sweet tooth is getting out of hand. It's not just about weight gain, you know. Sugar can still cause health problems.
Samuel can't help but feel a little defensive about his sweet tooth.
Samuel: Come on, Simon. I'm not that bad. I can handle my own sweet intake.
Simon raises an eyebrow, still not convinced.
Simon: Really ? Then how come you can't resist any sweet thing remotely within reach?"
Samuel shrugs, feeling a little embarrassed.
Samuel: Alright, maybe I have a bit of a weakness for sweets. But come on, Simon, what's life without a little indulgence ?
Simon rolls his eyes, still concerned about his little brother's sweet intake.
Simon: I'm just saying, Sam. You should be mindful of what you put in your body. Too much sugar can lead to health problems."
Samuel sighs as he crosses his arms
Samuel: come on si , don't tell me your still believing in that dumb myth about sugar supposedly spreads leukemia cancer faster..
Simon sighs and shakes his head, knowing Samuel is referring to the age-old myth of sugar feeding cancer cells. Simon looks at his brother with a mix of concern and exasperation.
Simon: Sammy, that's not what I'm talking about. There are numerous studies that have shown that a diet high in added sugars can contribute to a host of health problems, including obesity, heart disease, diabetes
He crosses his arms, clearly not backing down.
Simon: and for your information, no i don't believe that myth, Sammy. That's been debunked.
Samuel rolls his eyes, still a little skeptical.
Samuel: Of course you don't. But, okay, let's say I believe you. So what ? I'm not going to give up my sweet tooth just because it's unhealthy.
He takes a big bite of his sweet treat, a defiant expression on his face.
Samuel: look si, i know and i do understand why trying to get me on a healthy diet but sometimes I just can't help it. Sweet stuff is just so tasty!
He rubs his temples, trying to find the right words to get through to his brother. Simon smiles, feeling a mix of concern and affection.
Simon: I get it, trust me. But just try to limit yourself a bit, alright? For your own good. I do think your diet could use some... healthier options.
He tries to keep his tone calm and takes a deep breath
Simon: I'm just trying to look after you and make sure you're healthy, that's all.
he places his hand on Sammy's shoulder who was sitting across from him
Simon: i really care about you sammy, you know ?
He glances at the massive sundae again, shaking his head in disbelief. since he really cares about him and simon suggests that he should start going on a fruit vegetable mainly fruit diets like blueberries, strawberries, citrus , apples, cherries , bananas etc to get vitamins and giving him reasons why they would help his illness Simon smiles as he listens to Samuel's argument. He knows his little brother well, and he's not surprised by the way he reacts. Samuel's annoyed expression softened a bit as he heard the sincerity in his twin brother's voice. He knew that Simon's concern was genuine, even if he didn't necessarily agree.
Samuel: I really do appreciate you looking out for me. Really i do Simon but I really don't think I need to be on a diet.
Simon can sense the slight annoyance in his brother's voice, but he remains calm and understanding. He knows that change isn't easy, especially when it comes to something as delicious as sweets.
Simon: I know it's not always easy to give up something you enjoy, Sammy. But consider it, alright? Even if you don't think you need a strict diet, maybe just cutting back a bit on the sweets could help. Maybe cut back on the ice cream and eat more fruits and veggies like I suggested. It'll do you some good.
He looks at his brother with a hopeful expression, hoping that his brother will at least take his advice into consideration. Sammy let out a sigh, leaning back in his chair. Samuel thinks for a bit before he sighs again and smiles as he can't say no to his favorite twin
Samuel: ok i see your point Simon, i guess i may have gone a little overboard with the sundae size and maybe with sweets in general
he doesn’t like seeing simon sad and worried about him almost all the time since simon has been a little clingy and over protective in the past when his leukemia first flared and acted up when they were 11-12 yrs old so to make his brother feel better, samuel orders a side of apple slices with a banana and a cherry to go with his ice cream sundae and eats his healthy dessert which simon smiles at his adorable twin little brother
Samuel: is this much better ?
Simon smiled as he watched his brother order the healthier side of fruits, even though it was still paired with his ice cream sundae. He knew it was a small step, but it was a step in the right direction. Simon chuckled lightly as he observed his adorable twin little brother. the ice cream is a bit healthier now Simon grins, seeing how his little brother tries to healthy version of the sundae. He chuckles, shaking his head in a mixture of amusement and affection.
Simon: Yeah, that's much better. Though I'm still not sure how you can eat so much ice cream in one sitting.
He watches as Samuel tries a bit of the sundae, and raises an eyebrow as he notices something.
Simon: Hold on a sec, are you eating around the fruit?
Samuel looks up mid-bite, caught off guard by Simon's question. He can't help but blush a little, feeling called out.
Samuel: U-Uh, what !? no, of course not! i have some cherries on my spoon
He quickly takes a big bite of the ice cream sundae, trying to act casual. Simon grins, still not convinced by Samuel's denial.
Simon: Oh, really? Let me see.
He jokingly reaches over to try and snatch the spoon out of Samuel's hand. Samuel squeals in protest, quickly moving the spoon out of Simon's reach. He can't help but laugh and grin in response.
Samuel: Hey! Stop it si !!
He tries to defend his ice cream from Simon's playful attempts to grab it. Simon chuckles, enjoying the playful banter between them.
Simon: Just making sure you're not playing any tricks on me, little bro. You know how sneaky you can be.
He keeps trying to get a better look at Samuel's spoon, feigning suspicion. Samuel, now determined to protect his ice cream and quickly devours the last spoonful.
Samuel: No tricks here! You'll have to be faster than that if you want to see that i am eating my fruits !
He smirks victoriously, proud of his ice cream-saving skills. Simon shakes his head, clearly amused by his little brother's actions and comment
Simon: Sure, sure, if you really were telling me the truth about actually eating cherries from your spoon then what about those banana slices huh ? are they just decorations for your ice cream sundae ?
He laughs, enjoying their banter. It's so easy to make fun of his little brother sometimes.
Samuel: um no silly ! im leaving the banana parts for the chocolate and peanut butter part of the sundae ^^ the apple slices I'm going to do the same thing
Simon laughs again, shaking his head in disbelief.
Simon: Oh, I see. Saving them for later, yeah ? Sure, sure. Your sweet tooth is going to be the death of you, little brother."
He smirks, watching his brother carefully strategize the consumption of his unhealthy sundae.
Samuel: oh relax big brother, ill be fine ! im not going to die that easily over sweets
He smirks as he playfully teases him too
Samuel: you sure you don't want to try this masterpiece dude ? it's really yummy
He tries to make the spoon hover in his face as if trying to tempt him
Samuel: Mmmmm tasty ! tasty !..come on simon i know you really want to try some
He continues hovering his spoonful of ice cream sundae goodness before Simon laughs at his brother's attempt to tempt him even though deep down he wanted to eat some of it . He knows Samuel is just trying to get him to break his diet, but he stands firm.
Simon: Nice try, little brother. But I'm on a diet, remember ? No sweets for me. im not going change my mind, no matter how tasty it may look
He adds
Simon: " im also glad Sammy, your really are trying to make healthier choices, even if it's a little."
Sammy: Yeah, I am. And maybe if I start eating healthier, you'll finally stop nagging me so much about my sweets.
He teases his brother with a playful grin, trying to lighten the mood a bit. Simon pats Sammy on the head, resisting the delicious smell emanating from the sundae as he laughs
Simon: Oh, I don't think anything will stop me from nagging. That's just part of being a big brother, you know?
He gives his brother a smirk, playfully ruffling his hair.
Simon: But I'll try to ease up a bit if you keep up with the healthier choices."
Samuel laughs as Simon playfully ruffles his hair. He knows that Simon's nagging comes from a place of love and concern. Samuel playfully swats at Simon's hand as he ruffles his hair. He knows his brother can't help but act like a protective big brother, but he also knows it comes from a place of love. Which Simon chuckles, enjoying their sibling banter.
Sammy: Yeah, I figured you wouldn't stop nagging even if I ate the most healthiest things on this earth
He grins, knowing that his big brother is just looking out for him even if it comes in the form of constant reminders
Sammy: But I'll try my best, even if it means giving up some of my sweet treats. Just don't go too crazy with the nagging, alright?"
Later that day after the petrikov twins had their fun day together. Simon spots the town's aquarium and he sighs quietly

After the twins purchase the outfits then visits a carnival 🎡 🎪 and plays some games having a blast together especially the down the clown stall. When Simon and samuel petrikov throws some red balls at the clowns to see if they can knock all of them down, the ball bounces off the clown and hits him on the head. Not one to be outdone, Sam retaliates by throwing the red ball back, this time knocking over the clown. Samuel is pleased as he raises his hands in the air and starts cheering himself. Simon watches as Samuel throws the ball back and knocks over the clown. He can't help but chuckle at his little brother's playful revenge. Seeing Sam's excitement and cheers joined in the celebration as he high fived him and says
Simon: Nice shot, little brother! You sure showed that clown who’s boss. I can't believe you actually got him on the first try !
He grins, impressed by Samuel's accuracy.
Samuel: thanks ! that clown really knocked the ball on my forehead as if he thinks he can prevent me from getting my prize !
Simon laughs, enjoying his little brother's enthusiasm.
Simon: Well, it serves that clown right for underestimating you. But then again, I bet that clown hasn't met someone as tenacious as you.
He grins, ruffling Samuel's hair affectionately as his younger twin chuckles a bit being rufflef on his head. He leans down a bit, speaking in a teasing tone.
Simon: You're a real charmer, you know that, Sam ? That smile could charm anyone, even those scary clowns."
Simon then looks at the prize counter and notices all the stuffed animals and souvenirs they could win if they won a few more rounds
Simon: you know what, if you keep this up we'll have a whole collection of stuff to bring back
Sam grinned proudly, he looks at the prize counter as his eyes narrowed with determination
Samuel: your right, Simon. Let's keep going and win a few more rounds. I bet we could have a whole zoo stuffed animals or souvenirs in our room by the end of the day
After a few more tries then sam follows Simon's gaze to the prize counter , his eyes widening at the variety of stuffed animals and souvenirs. Samuel is pleased and when he tries to ask for a prize, he was denied a certain item cause the stall owner refuse his prize cause he and his brother didn’t knock all of the clowns down to get a certain amount of points. Samuel can't help but feel frustrated as the attendant refuses his prize that he was supposed to win and ends up giving him a different prize, Simon can sense the frustration building up in his little brother. He knows that Samuel has a competitive streak and gets easily frustrated when things don't go his way.
Simon: Hey, Sammy, don't worry about it. It's just a game. There's no need to be upset. We still have plenty of time to win some more prizes
He pats Samuel on the back, trying to calm him down.
Samuel takes a deep breath, feeling a little calmer as he feels his older brother's hand on his shoulder. He looks at the different prize the attendant hands him, a mixture of disappointment and frustration still lingering.Simon can sense the disappointment and frustration in his little brother's eyes and tries to lift his mood
Simon: Hey, you still won something. That's pretty good. We can always try again later. There are plenty of other games we can play.
He nudges Samuel gently, trying to get him to move on and focus on something else.
Samuel forced a smile, trying to hide his disappointment. He knew that Simon was just trying to cheer him up, and he didn't want to ruin their day.
Samuel: You're right, Simon
he said, trying to sound enthusiastic.
Samuel: Let's focus on the other games we can play. Maybe we'll get a better prize there
Despite his words, the disappointment still lingered behind Samuel's eyes as he looked at the wrong prize he was given as the two brothers walked away from the game. Simon couldn't help but notice, he simply patted him on the shoulder and nodded.
Simon: You know, you can be so stubborn sometimes, Sammy. Always wanting the best prize, even if you didn't get the one you wanted this time
Simon chuckled again, his tone teasing but affectionate. Samuel rolled his eyes at the comment but couldn't help but smile a little in response. He knew Simon was right; he could be quite stubborn when it came to contests, games or any kind of competition.
Samuel: Well, obviously,
he replied with mock defensiveness.
Samuel: Why settle for something less when you can have the best ?
He held up the prize he had won, examining it, pretending to be satisfied. Simon chuckles more before ruffling his hair softly as he can tell that Sammy is just pretending. Simon chuckles, watching as Samuel examines the prize he had won, pretends to be satisfied. He can tell that his little brother was just putting up a front, and the sight amused him. Simon ruffles his hair softly with affection
Simon: You know, that stubbornness is both endearing and annoying at the same time
A smirk spread across his face, enjoying the teasing banter.
Simon and Samuel took a much-needed break from their game marathon and decided to treat themselves to some delicious carnival snacks. They walked around the carnival, taking in the sights and sounds of the bustling environment.
Simon: You know, a little break and snacks are always a good idea after a tiring game session
Samuel agreed, already munching on a bag of cotton candy as the twins sat down on a nearby bench, taking a break from all the games they had played. Simon purchases some bag of pretzels and offers some to Sammy
Simon: hey sammy you want some ? im sure you don't want to just snack on cotton candy alone
Samuel was happily munching on the cotton candy, but he couldn't resist the temptation of the pretzels that Simon offered. Samuel stopped eating the cotton candy for a moment and nodded at the offer.
Sammy: Sure, thanks, Simon. I could definitely go for some pretzels
He reached over and popped a pretzel into his mouth, savoring the salty snack.
Simon smiles and chuckles as he eats some pretzels from the bag before rubbing his head
Simon: you know, we've been here all day. I don't know about you, but I'm getting tired
Sammy on the other hand was still full of excitement and energy as he looked at his brother with eyes wide, and he didn't want the fun to end yet.
Samuel: Are you kidding ? We can't leave yet. There's so much left to do here.
Simon chuckled at his little brother's enthusiasm, but he couldn't deny that he was getting tired.
Simon: I know, I know, but we've been going at it all day. We should probably rest for a bit before we keep playing."
While enjoying their circus 🎪 snack break, Samuel mentions the plushie that he really wanted to get from the knock down the clowns stand earlier , Simon chuckles a bit, as if Sammy meant the wonky looking one since that's what it looked to simon but then hums thoughtfully.
Simon: you know, to be completely honest with you.. you've been having weird taste of what's really cute for several days sammy.
Samuel's curiosity was piqued as he heard Simon's statement which made him confused and questions himself as he turned to look at his older twin brother with a puzzled expression
Samuel: huh ? i do ? what makes you say that Simon ? i thought the plushie looked cute and fluffy back there
Simon nods with a smile as he crosses his arms before he points to a cat plushie that’s looks similar to cake that a child was holding
Simon: ok Sammy, you see that stuff animal over there, where the little girl is holding ? what do you think about this cat 🐈‍⬛ plushie ?
samuel scoffs as he tries to examine it by squinting his eyes a bit
Samuel: That cat plushie ? that's easy ! it looks kind of weird. I mean, come on Simon, it's shaped like a cake. Who even thought of that ?
He turned to Simon with a raised eyebrow, waiting for his brother's response.
Simon: are you sure ? i think it looks kind of adorable to me
Samuel was surprised by his brother's response. He couldn't believe that Simon thought the cat plushie was cute.
Samuel: adorable ? Really? It looks like a fluffy, pudgy, ball of fur with a face. How can you possibly think that's cute Simon ?
He couldn't comprehend it, and it only reinforced Simon's observation that his little brother had an unusual taste in what was considered cute. when simon points at a fluffy white rabbit, sam tries squinting his eyes again and says it looks really adorable in his opinion which makes simon comment that his definition of adorable is way off
Simon: "Seriously, Sammy ? You think a fluffy white rabbit is adorable, but not the cat plushie ? Your definition of cute is seriously messed up "
He couldn't help but laugh at the absurdity of it all. Samuel crosses his arms a bit
Samuel: and what's so funny about that simon ? i don't get what you mean
Simon smirked as Samuel crossed his arms, clearly getting a bit defensive. He chuckled and explained further.
Simon: It's just funny, Sammy. You see a fluffy white rabbit and think it's adorable, but you don't think a cat plushie is cute. It's like your adorable radar is completely off.
Samuel rolled his eyes as Simon laughed once again at his definition of cute. He was starting to get annoyed but tried to keep his composure.
Samuel: Alright, alright. Maybe I was wrong about the cat looking like a cake. But it still looked really weird and that doesn't change the fact that you think a fluffy white rabbit is adorable Simon.
The annoyance was evident in his voice, but Simon couldn't help but find his little brother's stubborn resistance hilarious.
Simon notices that sammy hasn’t been wearing the prescription glasses since they arrived at the carnival 🎪 🎡 playing games and wanted to test something out so he had samuel to put on the glasses back on asking him the same questions about how he felt about the two plushies and does the same thing when simon then tells his brother to now take the glasses off but this time cover his left eye after finally analyzing what the problem was
simon chuckles as he smiles finally realizing what the problem
Simon: oh Sammy, no wonder you said that you had to wear the prescription glasses ! your left vision is still blurry, it hasn't even fully recovered yet , that explains why you have such weird and bizarre taste in cute things lately !
samuel while smiling asks simon what was so funny cause he was kind of curious,
Samuel: what was so funny ? cause now im kind of curious
that’s when simon tells samuel that without his prescription glasses the so called cat plushie that he thought looked silly and weird looking ( cause of his blurry left eye vision ) was actually fluffy cute/adorable while the rabbit plush was the opposite
Simon grins as he watches Samuel process the information.
Simon: Well, it's pretty funny, actually. You see, that cat plushie you thought looked silly and weird was actually cute and fluffy, but the rabbit… well, that's where it gets interesting."
He can't help but chuckle again.
Simon: It turns out that you thought the rabbit was cute and adorable, when the reality is that it's the one that looked kind of wonky and weird looking.
Samuel was both amused and embarrassed by the discovery. Realizing that his blurry vision on his left eye had caused him to mix up the cuteness of the two plushies. He laughed at his mistake and agreed that it made sense why he had to wear the glasses for another two weeks. Simon smiled, finding his brother's misunderstanding comical. samuel was surprised and laughs cause of the mistake he made
Samuel: wow seriously ??? my gosh i guess that explains it ! i kind of figured that i still have to wear the glasses for two more weeks since apparently my left side still isn’t completely better yet.. My blurry vision is still messing with me, huh ?
Simon grins, enjoying seeing his brother's reaction.
Simon: Yeah, seriously. Your vision was way off, little brother. But hey, that's why you have those glasses, right?"
He chuckles, then pats Samuel on the head affectionately.
Simon: And you're right, you probably still need them for a couple more weeks. Better to be safe than sorry, right ?
Samuel let out a sigh of relief, glad that it was just his blurry vision and not some strange new taste in cute things. He also chuckled at the thought of liking odd and strange stuff animals.
Sammy: Yeah, thankfully it's just my left eye messing up. Can you imagine if I had started to like weird stuff like that for no reason ?
Simon laughed and continued to gently ruffle his brother's hair.
Simon: I'm glad there's still some sanity left in you.
Samuel playfully bats Simon's hand away, but there's a hint of gratitude.
Samuel: Ha ha, very funny. As if I'd suddenly start liking weird stuff like that out of the blue.
He adjusts his glasses, feigning offense.
Samuel: besides i should have at least some sanity ! ^^ i hope my left eye gets better soon cause i dont want to be stuck wearing glasses and be seen a nerd….hehehe no offense simon
Simon grins, hearing his brother's concerns about being seen as a nerd. He shakes his head a bit, chuckling.
Simon: Nah, no offense taken, little brother. But you know, you shouldn't worry too much about what other people think. Wearing glasses doesn't make you a nerd. Besides, you look pretty cute in them.
Samuel's cheeks flush a light shade of pink at Simon's compliment. He tries to play it cool, rolling his eyes slightly.
Samuel: Yeah, yeah. Whatever. I don't need you to tell me I look cute or anything.
He crosses his arms, pretending to be unimpressed.
Samuel: cause your wearing glasses and it makes you think your looking at yourself
Simon chuckles, amused by his brother's comment.
Simon: i wouldn't say that necessarily, i just think that glasses doesn't look all that bad on you that's all sammy
Ruffles Sammy's hair again with a smirk
Simon: but don't worry, i still prefer you without glasses and your still awesome this way 😉
Samuel playfully swats Simon's hand away from his hair but can't help but grin at his brother's words.
Samuel: Oh, shut up ! You're just messing with me.
He rolls his eyes but secretly enjoys the friendly banter between the two. Simon can't help but laugh at Samuel's reaction.
Simon: Oh, come on, Sammy. You know you love it when I tease you.
He grins and pats his younger brother on the shoulder.Simon grins, enjoying the playful interaction with his brother.
Simon: but i really meant what i said, You still look awesome without the glasses
He teases, ruffling Samuel's hair again.
Samuel: hehe you look awesome with your glasses too but i just don't want to eventually wear one permanently you know what i mean Simon ?
Simon smiles, understanding his brother’s concern.
Simon: I understand, little brother. No one wants to wear glasses permanently if they can help it. But hey, if it helps you see better and you look as cute as me in them, it’s not all bad, right ?
He winks at Samuel, jokingly.
after they leave the circus 🎪 🎡 the petrikov brothers goes to a food place which simon ends up getting some small salad with boiled eggs and croutons while samuel gets a hot fudge and peanut butter sundae with lots of chocolate. samuel noticed that simon wasn't eating anything sweet like he use to, so he asks him if he wanted to try the ice cream sundae he got since it's really delicious

The twins visit the local shopping center and begin picking out clothes. While at the store as the petrikov twins were rummaging through some clothes going through the racks, Sam takes advantage of their sort of shared resemblance and uses simon to see how his clothes would look on himself which Simon notices samuel's odd behavior as he holds some clothes up to his twin brother, using him as a makeshift mannequin and looks at him with confusion as he questions what his twin brother was doing it
Simon raises an eyebrow, a mix of confusion and annoyance.
Simon: "What on earth are you doing, Sam? Why are you holding clothes up to me like that?"
He was used to his twin brother's eccentricities, but this was a new one. Simon crosses his arms, waiting for an answer. He couldn't help but notice the playful grin on his twin brother's face and he chuckles
Simon: is there a reason you're using me as a mannequin? You do realize we don't look exactly alike, right?"
He shoots a playful glare at his little brother. Samuel giggled softly at Simon's confusion, enjoying the little scheme he had devised clearly amused by his own antics. He holds up a few shirts and holds it against his fraternal twin older brother's chest as he tilts his head to the side as if evaluating how it would look on him
Samuel smirks, still examining the few shirts against Simon's frame
Samuel: well duh i know that ! i'm just trying to see how these clothes would look on me, silly. You're the perfect model for it.
He continued to hold up various items against Simon's frame, examining the fit and style. Simon couldn't help but roll his eyes at his brother's antics, but a hint of amusement lingered in his expression.
Simon: You do realize there's a fitting room for that, right ?
Samuel chuckles as he ignores Simon's comment and continues to hold different clothes up against him.
Samuel: well of course i do simon, im just taking advantage of our sort of resemblance to each other. I think it's way better and more efficient than rather using some mirror, don't you think ? and besides you saw my disguise earlier when i scared off that girl jessica earlier, she actually thought that you were me cause of these glasses and contacts to match your eyes, so it got me thinking that we look kind of similar so why not use you as my personal mannequin than using a mirror right ??
simon thinks for a moment at his little brother's logic and thinks it’s a good idea since he never even thought of it before and Simon shakes his head as he huffs in a mock annoyance trying to maintain a serious expression as he was trying to hide a smile at but failing to suppress a slight smile anyway. deep down he finds his antics amusing. He chuckled softly as he let Samuel hold different outfits against him as Samuels grins widely
Simon: " You really are something else, you know that ? and Efficient " ? more like your being lazy.
Samuel chuckled at Simon's remarks, not even trying to deny it. He loved being lazy sometimes, and if that meant using Simon as a mannequin, well, that was just a bonus. Samuel laughs softly, amused that Simon has seen right through his true motives. He knows that his older brother knows him too well, but that doesn't stop him from grinning mischievously.
Samuel: alright you caught me. I'm just too lazy to walk all the way to the fitting room. but can you blame me ? It's so much easier and convenient this way to just have you stand here and let me try things on you and besides, it's a lot more fun using you as my mannequin rather than just staring at myself in a mirror
He continues to stand still as Samuel holds various of clothes against him. Simon couldnt help but chuckle some more at the sight of his twin going through their little charade and sighs softly
Simon: Well, I suppose that makes sense so i can't argue with your logic. We do look similar enough, especially when you're in disguise. And I guess it's convenient to have a personal mannequin right here so….ok, fine ill play the part of your personal mannequin, I suppose i can humor you for a little bit
He laughs, amused by the idea and puts on a playful mocking expression, striking a classic model pose with his hand on his chin
Simon: alright, go for it. Show me your fashion choices, little brother. Just don't expect me to walk around the store looking like a moving display rack. But you do realize though we don't even have the same taste in fashion right Sammy , what you think looks good on you may not look good on me
Samuel tries attempts to hide his amusement and he chuckles softly, as Sammy was amused by simon's attempt to maintain a stern expression since he knew that his older twin brother as enjoying their little game and he grins widely
Samuel: " Ah come on man, don't be all technical, and who cares if we have different tastes ? We're fraternal twins after all ! that doesn't mean we cant rock the same sty and besides that's what makes it so fun
He pauses, studying the outfit he currently has against Simon's frame.
Samuel: "Besides, you should just trust my judgement in clothes, i have very excellent taste and also it's not like I'm forcing you to buy anything I pick out. I'm just using you as a visual aid, that's all. And besides, who knows, you may end up finding something you like Simon. "
He tried to sound annoyed by the situation but couldn't help continuing to smile and chuckles with amusement. Samuel's antics were amusing, even if they were a bit strange for him. Simon knew too well that his younger twin was always the one for finding creative ways to do things
Simon: "Oh, that's just ridiculous, you know that right ?You really are a piece of work..but seriously, Sammy, there's a reason fitting rooms exist. They're not just decorations. And you do know, that people usually just use mirrors to see how clothes look on them, It's a thing called trying them on yourself
Sammy rolls his eyes as he sighs slightly as Simon reminds him of the obvious, but he can't help but laugh and grin at his twin brother's logical sensible remark
Samuel: oh come on big brother, don't be so dull. It's so much more fun using you as a mannequin. It's like a live action breathing model standing right in front of me, it's way more interesting than using some old mirror especially since you have to walk all the way to the fitting room and then try the clothes on. This way, I can just hold them up against you and save some time. On the plus side, we kind of look fairly identical to each other and besides, I'm just trying to make this shopping trip more interesting. You're too uptight and serious sometimes
Simon sighed, shaking his head in amused frustration. Samuel had a point, it was indeed more interesting this way, but he had to continue the part of the responsible older brother.
Simon: Yeah, yeah, I get it. I'm the uptight, serious one, you're the free-spirited one. You're really pushing my patience with these shenanigans of yours, you know that ?
He looked at the shirt being held up by Samuel, then down at the ridiculous jacket still around his shoulders. simon shakes his head, a mixture of laughter and slight vexation on his face as Sammy continues to defend his case. Samuel's playful demeanor was sometimes endearing but other times just silly, and this moment was no exception. Simon rolled his eyes, but he couldn't help but chuckle at his twin brother's playful response and he sighed slightly
Simon: ok first of all Sammy, you do realize shopping trips aren't supposed to be a form of entertainment, right ? They're meant to be practical."
He tries to sound stern, but his amusement was evident.
Simon: " secondly I'm not too uptight and serious, I'm just practical. Thirdly you know darn well there's nothing remotely interesting about me standing here, being a mannequin for your little fashion show and four we are fraternal twins not identical twins remember ? we really don't look or act the same to each other to even compare us as identical
Samuel raised an eyebrow at Simon's pointed remarks, but his grin widened, enjoying the playful banter as he finds the whole situation highly amusing. He was quite aware of the purpose of their shopping trip, but that wasn't going to stop him from having a little fun. He responded to Simon's comments, his tone just as playful and carefree as ever. Though Samuel knew and agreed that his older brother did have a point he was still determined to enjoy himself and have some fun
Samuel: oh, come on, Simon. live a little. and who says we can't have a bit of fun while we're shopping ? we're here to buy clothes, not to be all boring and serious, secondly as for being practical goes, well isn't it more practical to try things on right here instead of wasting time going back and forth to the fitting room. to try every outfit ? and for your last remark, sure we are just fraternal twins, but that's no fun. Let's pretend we're identical twins just for today.
as Simon continues doing different poses, Sammy steps back to get a better view as Simon's expression remained somewhat stoic. After Samuel put some clothes up back on the rack that he doesn't like, simon thinks for a bit of Sam's case and he knows his younger fraternal twin little brother really does have a point and thinks it's actually a good idea to use Sam as his own personal mannequin for himself since he knows for fact that their only fraternal and not identical twins and Sammy was just being lazy and his stoic expression fully changes to amusement and starts to laugh a little before he decides to grab an outfit from the rack. Samuel rolled his eyes, knowing very well what was coming next. Simon had a mischievous smirk playing at the edges of his lips, the idea of using Samuel as a personal mannequin being too good to pass up. Samuel sighs, knowing that he only has himself to blame for giving Simon this idea
Samuel: Really Simon ? now you're going to use me as your own personal mannequin now, huh ?
Samuel said, resigned to his fate while Simon simply responded with a playful chuckle, his smirk growing wider. Samuel notices the change in Simon's expression, raising an eyebrow in curiosity. He was not expecting his older brother to give in to his idea so easily, but he was certainly pleased. His expression lights up, realizing that his older twin brother has actually accepted his absurd idea and is planning to use him to test outfits on. He couldn't help but feel a little smug, feeling satisfied and proud of himself for convincing his older brother to join in on his little game. Samuel watched as Simon picked up an outfit and began holding it up against his frame, and he wondered what his twin had in mind. Simon chuckled, a glint of amusement in his eyes as he began to play along with Samuel's absurd idea, using him, his twin fraternal little brother, as his own personal mannequin. He was just as surprised to have given into his younger brother's idea as Samuel had been, but he found the whole situation highly amusing.
Simon: Well, it seems like you've convinced me with your little idea. Alright Sammy, hold still. I'm gonna use you as my personal mannequin for a bit.
Samuel grins widely at Simon's playful challenge, his competitive streak ignited. He's ready to play the role of a mannequin for his older brother, ready to be used as simon's own personal dress up doll.
Samuel: oh it is on. I ran into that one and I asked for this so let's see what you've got in mind. I bet my taste is gonna to be way cooler than yours, you're too uptight and serious, you always go for the safe and basic choices. you probably don't even know the meaning of words "fun" and "cool"
Simon chuckled, feeling a bit competitive at Samuel's challenge. He was going to show his little brother that he too was capable of picking out good clothes.
Simon: Oh, you're on, Sammy. I'll have you know that I have a great sense of style myself. Let's see how you handle these.
Simon smirked and grinned as was growing as he hears Samuel's praise, knowing that he had definitely surprised his younger twin brother . He was pleased with his younger brother's reaction to the leather jacket. He couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction for surprising Samuel with his choice, knowing that he had a good eye for fashion. Simon put aside the leather jacket and move on to the next item
Simon: see ? i told you I have good taste. You were doubting me, weren't you? I have a broader and more unique style then you think. I just don't usually let my inner wild side out. but now that I'm getting a chance thanks to your little idea, I'm gonna go all out.
He held up another item of clothing, a vibrant colored shirt, against Samuel's chest. Sam decides to take out a disco looking outfit and holds it over against Simon and he tilts his head even though he finds it funny cause he sees it on Simon, his expression turns a little bit of a frown
Samuel: hmm..nah ! this one is a bit too flashy, even for me. So that's totally out of the option
Simon looks at the flashy disco outfit with a mixture of amusement and skepticism, he couldn't help but agree with Samuel's assessment. He let out a small laugh, shaking his head at the ridiculous look.
Simon: yeah, I'm gonna have to agree with you on that one. That one is just too over the top. Even for your quirky taste, it's way too flashy. I think even clowns would consider that outfit to be a bit of an overkill. Good thing we won't be leaving the store with it.
Sam chuckles with his brother and grabs another outfit to put against Simon's chest and without giving much thought, he automatically says no to it, shocking simon since he actually likes it
Samuel: Now that's definitely a big no, it's so dull and plain looking, im going to put this back for sure
Simon's expression shifts as Samuel dismisses another outfit without even considering it, this one actually looks pretty nice. He was surprised by how swiftly his younger brother rejected it just because it was too plain and boring. Simon couldn't resist speaking up, expressing his disagreement with Samuel's quick judgment.
Simon: Wait, wait, hold on a minute. I actually kind of like that one. It's simple, yes, but it's also classy and stylish."
Samuel turns to Simon, surprised that he likes the outfit.
Samuel: Really ? You actually like this one?
He holds up the outfit before he gives simon the outfit with a smile
Samuel: hehe of course, I knew you would say something like that simon, your just like dad you know that ?
Simon can't help but smile at Samuel's comment.
Simon: Yeah, I guess I take after dad a bit in that respect.
He takes the outfit from Samuel, still amused by the comparison. Samuel gives him a teasing smirk
Samuel: Yeah, you're just like him alright. Always looking for the most boring, plainest clothes. I can't believe you like that thing.
He gestures towards the outfit in Simon's hands
Samuel: your planning on trying this on for real aren't you ?
Simon rolls his eyes at Samuel's comment about being like their dad, knowing that his little brother often teased him about his more serious and responsible nature. But he can't help but smile
Simon: Yeah, I am. it's a nice outfit, I want to see how it looks on me. It fits my style more than yours, I think.
He takes the outfit and heads towards the fitting room, ready to see how it looks on himself. after waiting for a bit Simon comes walking out with the outfit he tried on, Samuel looks up from looking at the other clothing items as Simon exits the fitting room in the outfit he had picked. Samuel scans him from head to toe with a critical eye, studying Simon's appearance and judging the outfit. He knew that his brother looks quite nice in it
Samuel: Well, well, well, if it isn't Mr classy and responsible. You know I must admit, for once you do look quite dashing in that outfit, you actually nailed it. It definitely suits your style more than it would suit mine, it's a bit too formal and serious for my taste
Simon chuckles at Samuel's playful jab at his serious nature. He couldn't help but feel a bit of pride at his brother's praise, knowing that he had chosen an outfit that suited him well. He stood before Samuel, striking a little pose, just to show off a bit.
Simon: You know, for once, I'm gonna take that as a compliment. I'm glad you think I look dashing. It's always nice to hear that you have good taste. And I agree, it's definitely too formal for your usual silly and quirky style.
Samuel laughs as Simon goes back to the rack and pick out another outfit. He knows the drill now and stands still as his older brother holds up the next outfit against him. Simon takes a moment to examine the outfit before looking at Samuel with a small smirk.
Simon: What do you think of this one then, Sammy ? Think I've nailed it again or is it just so plain that you'd reject it again just because it's a bit too serious ?
Samuel's eyes dart to the outfit that Simon is holding up. He studies it carefully, and then turns his gaze back to his brother
Samuel: hm…it definitely does look a little stylish..it's not too bad i guess, but i could try it on just to be sure
Simon puts his hand on his waist with a smirk and he asks his brother that he thought he was too lazy to walk back and forth all the way to the fitting room . Simon raises an eyebrow at Samuel's request to try on the outfit, amused by his younger brother's change of heart. He shakes his head. With a smirk, he replies.
Simon: Oh, so now you're interested in trying it on yourself, are you ? I thought you were too lazy to bother going to the fitting room, what happened? changed your mind ?
Samuel chuckles at Simon's amused smirk, knowing his brother would tease him about this sudden change in attitude. He gives a playful shrug, trying to play it cool.
Samuel: Oh, come on now Simon, you can't blame me for wanting to see how this outfit looks on me, too. I mean, I can't let you have all the fun, can I? Plus, I was just being lazy before, I'm feeling a little more motivated now. I'll be quick about it, I promise.
after a moment in the fitting room, Sammy walks out in the new outfit that Simon picked out
Samuel: so…what do you think Simon ?
Simon's eyes widen slightly as he sees Samuel walk out in the outfit he had picked out. He gives his little brother a smirk and takes a moment to study him, noticing how well the outfit fit him.
Simon: Well, well, well, look who's looking good. I have to admit, you actually look quite sharp in that. I did a good job picking it out for you, didn't I ?
Samuel can't help but feel a bit flustered by Simon's words and his approving smirk. He gives a small grin and twirls around to show off the outfit.
Samuel: Yeah, I guess you did alright, si. I have to admit, it's not half bad.
He jokingly poses, doing a little model-like walk around the fitting room. Simon can't help but chuckle at Samuel's little display. He watches his twin brother strut around the fitting room with a satisfied grin.
Simon: You're such a show-off, Sammy.
He teases, still appreciating how good Samuel looks in the outfit. Samuel laughs playfully.
Samuel: Hey, you're the one who picked it out. I'm just showing off your good taste.
He jokingly retorts, still enjoying the chance to show off a bit for his brother.
Samuel: and i have to say, you did pretty well with this option, it doesn't look too bad and is quite fetching buuut…
He sighs a bit as he looks at the outfit he was wearing
Samuel: to be honest, I don't like how it seems like it doesn't really fit me especially how it feels on me, it could be the material of the outfit Or it could just mean i need to gain some weight or something
Simon nods understandingly, listening to his younger brother's dissatisfaction with the outfit. he could see that Samuel was not entirely comfortable in it. He takes a moment to think, before speaking up
Simon: You know, you might be onto something there. It could be the material of the outfit that's causing the discomfort. but, i don't think you need to gain weight, you look just fine .
Sam chuckles and he smiles at his brother's statement
Samuel: you really think i look fine simon ?
Samuel looks thoughtful, considering Simon's suggestion. He glances down at his body, still feeling doubtful about his appearance. Simon smiles warmly at Samuel's question, giving him an reassuring look.
Simon: Of course I do. You're my little brother, you don't need to gain anymore weight, your perfectly fine just the way you are. besides It's not about your weight anyway, it's how you feel comfortable in it that matters. If you don't feel comfortable in it, then the outfit is not for you.
Samuel looks at his older brother with a small smile, appreciating his words of reassurance. He takes a moment to think about what Simon said, knowing that he was making sense.
Samuel: You're probably right, Simon. I shouldn't force myself to wear something I'm not comfortable in Just because I like the way it looks . But still…I do like the look of it. Maybe I'm just overthinking it
Simon's expression shifts slightly as he listens to what his brother was saying, Simon becomes curious about Sammy's reasons for gaining weight. He takes a moment before responding.
Simon: if you don't mind me asking, what made you think you need to gain extra weight anyway after trying on this outfit I picked out for you ?
Samuel lets out a small sigh, realizing that he may have inadvertently revealed a little bit about his perspective on his own body image. He rubs the back of his neck, feeling a bit embarrassed.
Samuel: Well, Simon, I guess i just felt like the outfit didn't fit me properly. I looked myself in the mirror and thought I looked kind of…well, scrawny. You know, my arms and legs looked a little bit too thin. I guess I've just been feeling a bit self-conscious about my physique lately.
Simon's expression softens at Samuel's explanation, showing empathy for his younger brother's struggle with body image. He could sense the insecurity and self-consciousness Sam was dealing with, so he tries to reassure him.
Simon: Oh, Sam. I understand how you feel, I really do. But let me tell you something, you are NOT scrawny. You look just fine believe me. you have the perfect amount of weight on you already and you don't need to gain anymore weight ok?
Simon continues to reassure his brother especially letting him know, that if he was that scrawny he would let him know and put him on a healthy diet that would help help him gain some weight. Samuel took a moment to process his older brother's words, allowing Simon's reassurance to sink in. It was nice to know that simon would be willing to help him if he was genuinely underweight.
Samuel chuckles weakly, rubbing the back of his neck
Samuel: Thanks, Simon. I guess I've just been a bit harsher on myself lately, comparing myself to others and stuff. I know you'd let me know if I'm genuinely underweight . It's just… sometimes it's hard to shake off those negative thoughts, you know ?
Samuel chuckled softly, appreciating his brothers’ reassurance. He knew that Simon would never withhold the truth from him and would be straightforward about his physical shape. Samuel had known Simon to be a reliable and honest individual.
Simon: your welcome Sammy and I hope you don't think I'm just telling you this to be nice. I would tell you truthfully if you did look scrawny. but you don't. you look fine just the way you are. And I wouldn't let you be too scrawny, I care about your health, you know. you can trust me, ok ?
Simon looks at his little brother with a mixture of concern and reassurance. He really hopes that his words are getting through to him and that he could help alleviate his insecurities at least a little bit. Samuel listened carefully to his older brother, feeling the sincerity in his words. He knew that Simon would never lie to him just to make him feel better. He nodded , acknowledging the truth in what he said .
Samuel: Yeah, I know you're telling me the truth, Simon. I trust you. And, hey, I appreciate your concern for my health. I know you'll always look out for me and wouldn't let me get too far out of proportion.
Samuel looks at him for a bit, with a softer expression
Samuel: Thanks big brother
Simon smiles as he placed his hand on Sam's black hair and ruffles it affectionately
Simon: any time Sammy, how about you change back into your clothes ok ? ill make sure to pick out a better outfit for you
Samuel couldn't help but grin at the affection from his brother, allowing Simon to ruffle his hair. He chuckles softly
Samuel: Ok, Simon, sounds good. And you better pick out something much better this time alright
he jokingly replied
While Sam goes back into the fitting room to change back into his clothes, giving Simon the outfit to put back, he couldn't help wanting to check the size to make sure if it was the correct fitting for his brother. Simon takes the time to check the size of the outfit, just to make sure it was the correct fitting for his little brother. As he examines the tag on the outfit, Simon compares it with Samuel's size before putting it back on the rack. He makes a mental note of the right size , as Samuel comes back out in his regular clothes. Simon realized that the outfit he happened to pick out was actually medium to a large, it's no wonder certain parts on Sam felt a little loose on him and didn't seem to fit him. When Samuel came back out in his regular clothes, Simon couldn't help but notice some subtle differences in how the clothes fit him. The outfit was a little too big for his shorter and leaner figure, making some parts appear loose. Simon couldn't help but smile slightly at this realization.he chuckled softly and shook his head, amused by his own mistake.
Simon: Sammy….i know why the outfit didn't quite fit you the way it was supposed to…
Sam looks at Simon with a puzzled expression
Samuel: oh really ? what is it simon?
He rubs the back of his neck, curious about what his older twin brother might say. Simon looks at Samuel with an amused smile, holding back a laugh.
Simon: Well, I found the problem.. the outfit I picked out for you was a bit too big for you. It was medium/large size. No wonder some parts felt a bit loose on you.
Samuel's eyes widen in surprise at Simon's revelation, and he can't help but chuckle at the absurdity of the situation.
Samuel: Wait, really ? That's the reason why it was so loose on me? Heh, it makes so much sense now !
Samuel sighs in relief that his figure wasn't the issue, it was the outfit size
Samuel: phew, and here i thought i needed to gain some extra pounds or something
he laughs a bit as Simon laughs along with him shaking his head at the absurdity.
Simon: Oh, stop overreacting. You don't need to gain any extra weight. You're perfectly fine just the way you are. It was just a little mistake on my part, that's all. maybe next time I'll double-check the size of the outfit before handing it to you.
Simon patted Samuel's head, knowing that he was probably overthinking it as he is still chuckling at their little mix-up. Sammy smiles a bit as Simon pats his head softly. Simon couldn't help but smile as he ruffles Samuels black hair softly , noticing how his little brother seemed to like the brotherly affection
Simon: There you go Sammy, all fine now, ok ? No need to worry about gaining weight or anything like that. you're just fine the way you are"
Simon and Samuel continue their fun game of being mannequins for each other, swapping outfits and holding them up against each other to see how they looked. They each take turns slipping into the fitting room to try on the next outfit. Soon they come across two almost identical outfits, but each in a different color. Simon picks up one of the outfits and holds it up against Samuel, looking at him and his size. Simon and Samuel find the two nearly identical outfits in different colors and they both gasp, surprised by the resemblance ( the outfit Simon was holding that he was meant to try on himself was a dark blue jacket with a violet or purple ribbon like necktie with red stripes on it with the button long sleeve shirt that is underneath the black long sleeve shirt was either red, pretty emerald green Or pretty teal or turquoise but Simon thinks this would look better on Sammy instead
while the one Sammy was holding that he was meant to try on himself was a magenta jacket with a yellow ribbon like necktie with blue stripes with the button long sleeve shirt that is underneath the black long sleeve shirt was either yellow Or blue but Sammy thinks would look better on Simon )
Simon: Whoa… these outfits are eerily similar… look, they have the same style and everything, just in different colors. Hey Sam, what do you think about this one? I think it would look nice on me
Simon asks, holding up the outfit next to Samuel. His younger twin brother looked at the two almost identical outfits in both him and his brothers' hands, observing the colors and their own different opinions on the two outfits. while his older brother was holding up the outfit that Simon was planning on trying on himself , Samuel was holding up the other identical outfit thinking to himself that it might fit a bit better on Simon instead of himself. Samuel couldn't help but wonder if Simon had noticed the similar pattern both outfits shared
Samuel: " eerie is my kind of style ! want to try them on together Simon ! it be pretty fun and You know…this outfit I just grabbed does look pretty good, but to be honest I think that this one would fit you a bit better than me "
Simon grins, his eyes sparkling with mischief
Simon: Sure, let's do it. Let's see who rocks it better.
Samuel smirks, always up for a challenge.
Samuel: awesome ! i know both of us would totally look good on me but idk about you !
Simon grins, feeling a little competitive
Simon: "Oh really ? You think they'd look good on you? I'm not saying they wouldn't, but what makes you so sure they'd look better on you than they would on me, huh ?
Samuel rolls his eyes playfully, refusing to back down.
Samuel: Oh please, it's obvious. This outfit would totally enhance my charming personality and good looks.
He strikes a silly pose to emphasize his point.
Samuel: and besides….me personally they look like they would be stylish and cool guy kind of looks but…you seem like a geek and you may not pull it off for both unlike me, I'd look fabulous in anything
he smirks playfully as if he has won his logic and challenging in a a little fashion show off. Simon feigns offense at Samuel's challenge
Simon: "Geeks can be stylish and cool too, you know. Just because I’ve got an interest in antiquities doesn't mean I lack taste when it comes to clothes. I think I could pull off these outfits just as well as you could, maybe even better."
Samuel smirks, teasing his brother's confidence.
Samuel: " Oh, really ? You think you can pull off fashionable outfits better than me? I doubt that.
He crosses his arms, his smirk growing wider. Samuel grins back as he laughs, feeling a sense of light hearted rivalry between him and his twin brother.
Samuel: lets test that theory shall well ?
Simon smirks, accepting the challenge
Simon: Alright then, game on. We'll both try on these outfits and see who wears them the best. May the best twin win !
Simon and Samuel entered the fitting room, each with an outfit in hand. Simon tried on the outfit that Samuel had originally picked out for himself, and surprisingly, it fit him well. Meanwhile, Samuel tried on the outfit that Simon had originally picked out for himself, and it fit him perfectly too. As they looked at themselves in the mirrors, they both had an amused chuckle at how they unknowingly look better with opposite outfits they originally chose for themselves
Simon: Hmm, you were right Sammy, this one does look like it would fit me better. it's kind of ironic
Samuel couldn't help but laugh at the irony of their situation.
Samuel: I told you so ! I knew it would look better on you.
He spins around, admiring his outfit in the mirror.
Samuel: I should say the same thing to you simon
he winks as he smiles
Samuel: even though the one your wearing is supposed to be for myself , i actually kind of like this color on me that you picked out for yourself ^^
Simon chuckles, sharing a smile with his brother. It was quite ironic how they unintentionally found the better-fitting outfits for each other.
Simon: Yeah, it's a bit ironic, isn't it? I must admit, you do look good in my color as I do in yours
Simon said, admiring how the outfit complimented his little brothers' features. Simon looks at both of them in the mirror and can't help but smile at how perfectly the almost identical outfits seem to fit them. The irony only added to the fun. Simon lets out a low chuckle
Simon: who would have thought that we'd end up with each other's outfits and they'd fit perfectly? guess we have a good sense of fashion for each other
Samuel shakes his head, smiling at the absurd situation they find themselves in.
Samuel: Yeah, it's kind of funny, isn't it ? I mean, we're supposed to know what we like to wear and what fits us, but apparently we were able to judge each other's preferences better than ourselves. I guess we have a natural knack for fashion when it comes to picking out stuff for each other. We really do have a pretty good sense of style
He chuckles as he admires himself in the mirror, feeling surprisingly comfortable in the outfit meant for his twin. Sam laughs heartily, agreeing with his older brother. It was indeed quite a coincidence that the outfits they exchanged fit them so well. Simon chuckled at Samuel's words, nodding in agreement. He glanced in the mirror, looking at themselves in their exchanged outfits
Simon: Who knows, maybe we should start taking fashion advice from each other more often
Samuel laughs at the idea, enjoying their playful banter.
Samuel: Yeah, maybe we should. You actually don't look half bad in that outfit.
He gives Simon a playful smirk, teasing him. As he lightly nudges on his arm
Samuel: as long as the outfits you choose for me isn't too geek like, no offense Simon
Simon smirked and raised an eyebrow, pretending to be offended
Simon: hey now, I'll have you know I have impeccable taste in fashion, even for a geek
he said, lightly nudging Samuel back with a playful look in his eyes as he chuckled and added
Simon: but I understand, you have to keep up your cool facade and not look too geeky, Don't worry, I won't subject you to any overly geek-like outfits. I have some taste, you know
Samuel smirks, trying to maintain his cool facade.
Samuel: Well, that's a relief. I wouldn't want people to think I'm a total nerd just because of your fashion sense.
He teased Simon, still enjoying their banter.
Samuel: I do say though, you impressed me big brother, got to hand it to you ! you sure did make me eat my words. I guess you do know what fun and cool means after all ^^
Simon laughs, feeling a little smug
Simon: What can I say ? I'm full of surprises. Even a so-called 'geek' like me can pull off a fashionable outfit. Admit it, you didn’t think I had it in me.
pretends to be offended as he smirks
Samuel: oh what of course not ! how dare you excuse me
Samuel grins, still teasing his older brother.
Samuel: Well, I have to admit, I was skeptical at first. You don't exactly radiate coolness.
He chuckles, trying to hide his amusement.
Simon laughs again at Samuel’s playful faux-offended expression. He shakes his head, knowing the answer already
Simon: Oh, please. You totally thought I couldn’t pull off a fashionable outfit so it would make you’d be the star of the show.
Samuel's mock offended expression turns into a cheeky grin.
Samuel: Well, can you blame me ? I've got style points. maybe I wanted to be the center of attention once in a while, but that doesn't mean I don't think you're stylin' too Simon ! but hey we both look darn good don't we ?
Simon grins, his eyes sparkling
Simon: Absolutely. We do both look darn good if I do say so myself. But there can only be one winner, you know. I think we both know who has the better look…
He grins teasingly
Samuel: absolutely and i think it's
the twins shouted their own names. Simon laughs as the shout their answers at the same time, both declaring themselves the winner
Simon: Hey now, I was the one who pulled that outfit off better and you know it, little brother.
Samuel playfully rolls his eyes, still smiling.
Samuel: nah uh bro ! i think mine is the better choice
He crosses his arms, mimicking a pout.
Samuel: You just think you look better because you're older.
Simon rolls his eyes playfully
Simon: Oh really ? You think your pick is the better choice, hm? Well I hate to break it to you but… you’re wrong. I looked fantastic in that outfit and you know it. I pulled it off far better than you could have, little bro.
Samuel: how about a truce ? we both look good in our outfits i say
Simon thinks for a moment and then grins
Simon: Hmm… I suppose that sounds fair. A truce it is then. We both look good in our outfits, no denying that. But I still maintain that I looked better in the magenta jacket than you did in the dark blue one.
as they continue their playful banter, Sam looks at himself and his brother in the mirror. He can tell that even though their not identical but fraternal twins, they do both look similar to each other if they happened to wear the same outfit but different colors or designs sometimes especially if Sammy happens to wear a ponytail which looks a bit like Simon's style..Sam also knows he definitely look likes his brother with him needing to wear glasses for his weak left eye and he couldn't help but chuckle as he continues to tease simon as he couldn't pass up the chance to bring up the doppelganger thing again
Samuel: you know what Simon between the two of us looking like each other sometimes especially the glasses. It's like wondering which one of us is the real one, right ?
Simon smirks at Samuel's comment and leans against the fitting room wall, crossing his arms.
Simon: Heheheh, don't remind me. we do look similar enough that sometimes people can't tell us apart, especially when we wear similar clothes and you tie your hair back.. It's quite hilarious, isn't it ?
Simon then brings up that he thinks people should know for a fact that their not doppelgangers and just fraternal twins since they totally have different eye and hair colors. Samuel laughs and nods in agreement with his older brother.
Samuel: Yeah, right ?? I mean, we may look a bit similar in certain aspects, but come on, our eye and hair colors are completely different. Plus, we don't wear the same clothes all the time. It's really not that hard to tell us apart.
after Sam chuckles and made that statement, all of the sudden he starts rubbing his eyes as it starts to water and was feeling a little pain and irritation on his left eye that has the contact lens, and he tries to remove it but is having a little trouble with it which Simon notices samuel's struggles and discomfort as he starts rubbing his eyes. He immediately became concerned and walked over to him
Simon: hey hey what's wrong? Are you having trouble removing the lens? Here let me help you
He said with a worried expression on his face as he steps closer to help him remove the contacts, revealing his natural heterochromia eyes
Simon: Looks like your contacts are bothering you again, little brother. You know you shouldn't wear them for too long."
Samuel's expression turns sheepish as he lowers his hand from his eye, feeling embarrassed about his eye issue.
Samuel: i…i know…i guess it was time to take them out thanks simon
Simon: No problem. You know you look just as fine without contacts as you do with them, right? You don't have to wear them all the time.
Once it was removed, Sammy looks at the mirror again and sees how red, burning and watery his left side is and placed his hand on it
Simon observes Samuel's heterochromia eyes as the contact lens comes out, noticing the severe discomfort and irritation on the left eye. It looked red and watery, and Samuel couldn't help but place his hand on it. He felt a pang of guilt, knowing that it must be hurting samuel
Simon: Oh boy, your eye looks really red and irritated. Does it hurt a lot ?
He asks softly, trying his best to look at Samuel's eye closely to see the extent of the redness. Sam nods a bit and he tries to play it off nonchalant
Samuel: well yeah, it does hurt a bit but it's just watery that's all, im fine really
Simon was not convinced by Samuel's nonchalance. He knew his little brother well enough to see through his attempt to downplay the pain
Simon: Sammy, you're not fooling me. I can tell that your eye is hurting more than you're letting on. You don't have to pretend you're fine, especially when I can see the redness and irritation for myself. We should get you something to help with that
He responds with a worried tone in his voice as he notices the extreme irritation and redness on the left side especially looking really watery, Simon couldn't help but feel even more concern for his little brother. He couldn't believe how much pain Samuel was hiding.
Simon: Sammy, how long have you had that contact lens in your left eye? It looks like it's really irritating your eye badly. You should have told me earlier
Samuel sighed and looked away, feeling a bit guilty for not mentioning it earlier. He reluctantly admitted the truth
Samuel: I guess I've been trying to ignore it as long as possible… It started feeling irritated a few days ago but it's been getting worse I think… I didn't want to make a big deal out of it, I was hoping it would just go away on its own…
Simon's concern only grew stronger as he heard Samuel's confession. He could tell his little brother has a habit of not wanting to cause any trouble, but he couldn't ignore the seriousness of the situation.
Simon: Sammy, a few days ?? You've been dealing with this pain for days and you didn't tell anyone??? Why on earth would you think it would go away on its own?? You need to take better care of yourself
Simon then tells sam this isn't something he should just brush off as if he would go away and not come back and that Sammy should have told him a few days ago since they were supposed to be twins and twins tell each other everything which his voice is filled with both worry and disappointment as he spoke. He couldn't believe that Samuel had been dealing with this pain alone for days without telling him
Simon: You know we're supposed to be twins, Sammy. We're supposed to tell each other everything, especially when one of us is in pain or discomfort. You shouldn't have kept this to yourself. I could have helped you much earlier and prevented it from getting this bad
Simon's voice took on a mix of worry and disappointment as he scolded his little brother for not telling him sooner.
Simon: I can't believe you've been in pain for days, and you thought it would just go away. You know better than that.
Simon knew there must be a reason behind his little brother's behavior. He couldn't believe that he was wearing the contact solely for fun.
Simon: Sammy, there's no way you're just wearing a lens for fun, right? why are you even using contact lenses to hide your left eye in the first place? It can't just be for show. There must be a specific reason behind this..care to explain to me of why you've been hiding your left eye all this time? Be honest with me.
Simon looks at his little with a mixture of concern and curiosity, wondering why he felt the need to hide his left eye, hoping the Samuel would open up about the real reason behind trying to conceal his eye with the contacts. Simon's question caught Samuel off guard, and he couldn't help but feel a little guilty. He knew his older twin brother could see through his nonchalance and there was more to the contact lens than he was letting on. Sam knew he couldn't keep hiding the real reason behind the contact lens from Simon. He lowered his head, trying to avoid Simon’s piercing gaze
Samuel: well…. one of the reasons why is because….i have been picked on by some people in town and in school cause of my two different color eyes….i hate to admit about that part, secondly I….I just don't like people staring at my eyes. You know, because of the different colors
He sighs looking down
Samuel: and thirdly simon…its also because im trying to impress this one girl i have a secret crush on….i just wanted to seem regular and normal since i feel like the girl might not accept or love me cause of my different heterochromia eye colors might be really weird and strange
Simon is confused and surprised that the whole bullying thing is actually affecting Samuel deeply pretending it doesn't bother him that much. Simon listens to Samuel, his expression shifting from curiosity to surprise as he learns about the bullying Samuel has experienced because of his heterochromia
Simon: Oh, my gosh. I didn't know it was that bad… people made fun of you because of your eyes? That's so ridiculous.
He sighs, feeling a bit sad, Simon's heart sank as Samuel confessed the real reason behind hiding his left eye. He had expected that his younger brother might be concerned about the stares of strangers due to his eyes , but the third reason took him surprise
Simon: Oh, Sammy..I had feeling this might be the reason but I didn't expect the 3rd reason..so you're really trying hard to impress a girl?.. you shouldn't have to hide who you are just to get a girl to like you, especially your eyes. They're a part of you, and they're beautiful. Why didn't you tell me earlier about this? I'm your big brother, you know. You can tell me anything… I would have helped you, given those bullies a piece of my mind…
Samuel looks down, feeling a little embarrassed but also relieved that Simon understands him.
Samuel: I don't know... I guess I was ashamed. I didn't want anyone to know how insecure I felt about my eyes. And it's not just that I want to impress a girl. I just don't want people to stare at me all the time.
He rubs the back of his neck nervously.
Samuel: i also didn't want you to get involved in the middle of this…i can handle bullies just fine but…i guess when it comes to my eyes, i just act like it doesn't bother me but really it secretly does…that's why I've been hiding it with contacts and covering with my long bangs
Simon's expression softens as he listens to Samuel's explanation. He can see the vulnerability in his younger brother's eyes, and it breaks his heart a little.
Simon: Oh, Sammy...I had no idea it bothered you so much. I wish you would've told me sooner. I understand that you didn't want me to get involved… but you don't have to deal with everything on your own, you know. You're my little brother and it kills me to see you hurting like this, even secretly.
He reaches out and gently places a hand on Samuel's shoulder as he looks at his twin with gentle eyes and a sympathetic smile
Simon: Sammy, you're much too precious to be hiding your beautiful eyes like this. Your right eye being different from your left is what makes you unique, special and adorable. It's a part of what makes you, you. And that's a good thing, you know. You shouldn't feel the need to change or hide who you are just to impress others. I really care about you, more than anything.
Samuel's expression softens as he listens to Simon's words. He knows that his brother is right, but his self-consciousness has always been difficult to shake off.
Samuel: I guess you're right, Simon. I do tend to hide my left eye a lot. But it's just...it makes me feel different from everyone else.
He sighs, looking down at his feet. Simon looks into Samuel's eyes intently, his expression softens even more at the sight of Samuel's insecurities. He places a his index finger under Sammy's chin , offering comfort and reassurance.
Simon: Hey, hey, hey, Sammy. Look at me.
He gently tilts Samuel's chin up, making eye contact with him.
Simon: Don't let some stupid bullies make you feel ashamed of them. don't worry about those people who stare. They're probably just jealous because they don't have a cool feature like yours.
Simon smiles more as he knew how much his little brother struggled with self-confidence sometimes ever since they were children He pauses for a moment, and then adds:
Simon: You have nothing to hide. Your heterochromia is beautiful and makes you stand out in a good way. Don't let anyone make you feel otherwise. And you definitely shouldn’t pretend to be someone you're not just to impress some girl, she will love you for being you and if she doesn't like your mix color eyes then it's her loss and doesn't know what she's missing
And remember, if that girl can't appreciate your unique features and the wonderful person you are, then she's not the one for you. Someone will love you for who you are, and your eyes will be one of your most treasured features. Your eyes are a part of you. They are a representation of who you are, not just on the outside but on the inside. By hiding them, you are hiding who you are, hiding something that makes you unique and special. You don't need to do that Sammy.
Samuel shrugs as if he's not too sure himself but wants to be prepared and Simon places his hands on his face as he continues to reassure him that he doesn't need to hide his since it represents him. his hands gently cupping his face, trying to drive the message home. Simon's expression softens further, sensing Samuel's vulnerability.
Simon: I understand why you might feel that way. But let me tell you something, Sammy. Different doesn't mean bad. In fact, being different often means being exceptional. And you, my dear brother, are exceptional. You should be proud of who you are, and if someone can't accept you for that… then they don't deserve you.
Samuel listens to his brother's words, feeling his confidence start to flicker back to life. He had always known Simon to be kind, optimistic and supportive, and hearing him speak like this always seemed to lift his spirits. Samuel's eyes water a little as he listens to Simon's words. He feels a mixture of vulnerability and gratitude, touched by his brother's reassurance and support.
Samuel: You really mean that, si ?
His voice is quiet and hopeful.
Samuel: You really think that I shouldn't have to hide my eyes or be someone else just to impress someone i have a crush on ? And you really think my mix color eyes are unique and most treasured features ?
He asks, doubt flickering across his face.
Samuel: their not just a little weird to you or something ?
He then adds with a sigh:
Samuel: I guess I just don't want anyone to think i’m some ‘freak’"….i just wanted to seem normal and regular…kind of like you
Simon then starts gently rubs Samuel's cheek. He could sense the doubt on his little brother's face and wanted to reassure him
Simon: Oh, Sammy
he said softly
Simon: of course i absolutely mean every word I said. Your eyes are unique and beautiful, and you have no reason to hide them or be someone who you're not. you shouldn't have to hide who you are just to gain someone's approval, especially for someone your crush. You are unique, one of a kind.
Simon continues to rub his brother's cheek as he adds
Simon: your eyes are different, yes, but that's what makes them so special. You know I love that your right eye is different from your left. And you should never compare yourself to me or anyone else. Your uniqueness are your best features
He strokes Samuel's cheek tenderly, wanting him to feel secure and loved.
Simon: you're one of the most precious people to me. You don't need to compare yourself to me or anyone else to feel 'normal' or 'regular.' You're amazing just the way you are.
He then shook his head and replied in a firm voice
Simon: listen to me. Your eyes are not weird, and you are not a freak. You're unique and special just the way you are. And any person who can't appreciate your mixed color eyes or your uniqueness is not worth your time or attention.
He takes both of Samuel's hands in his, squeezing them gently
Simon: Please don't hide who you are, Samuel. You're too precious to wear those contact lenses. Just be yourself - that's all I want for you.
Samuel's heart warms at Simon's words. He feels tears prick his eyes as he realizes the true depth of his brother's acceptance and love.
Samuel: Si.. Simon, I-
His voice catches in his throat, emotions welling up inside him. He struggles to find the right words.
Samuel: your too kind Simon thanks…but it's easy for you say when your my brother….
Simon's expression softens further, his eyes filled with understanding.
Simon: I know it's easy for me to say, Sammy. I can't imagine how much it must bother you..
He releases one of Samuel's hands and reaches up, gently wiping away an escaping tear from Samuel's eye with his thumb. sam smiles and blushes a little and he asks him in a teasing way if it’s another way of Simon saying that he is calling himself adorable/cute
Samuel: oh come on, are you just saying that cause its another way of saying that your adorable/cute and special ?
Simon chuckles at Samuel's teasing, enjoying their banter. Simon jokingly rolls his eyes and chuckles in response to Samuel's teasing. He playfully pats his little brother on the shoulder.
Simon: Oh, ha-ha, very funny. You know that's not what I meant ! I'm not just saying it for myself. You're the one who's adorable and special here, little brother.
He ruffles Samuel's hair affectionately, a fond smile on his face. He couldn’t help but smile at his little brother's playful nature. They may be twins, but they had very different personalities. Simon and Samuel laughed and hugged each other, enjoying their time together. They looked at each other in the changing room mirror, both still wearing their almost identical different color outfits
Samuel blushes more as he moves his bangs a little
Samuel: thanks Simon…i guess i needed that little pep talk about this
Simon grins, seeing the redness on Samuel’s cheeks. He gives him a little squeeze on the shoulder more.
Simon: Of course, little brother. That's what I'm here for. Sometimes we all need a little reminder that we're awesome just the way we are. And You know, we make a pretty good pair, huh? Fashion-wise, that is. These new outfits look great on us! We should wear these more often.
Simon says, chuckling as Samuel nodded in agreement, a wide grin on his face
Samuel: Yeah, we do look pretty sharp. Your absolutely right ! it's better having the two of us together rocking the outfits. Maybe we should wear them to the arcade later ^^
Simon chuckled and nodded, his eyes sparkling with excitement. The Petrikov twins share a warm embrace as they stand in front of the mirror with simon placing his hands on Sammy's shoulders while admiring how they look in their new outfits. They laugh together, enjoying each other’s company.
Outfit 80's inspiration ideas ( I based the petrikov twins nearly identical outfits off of these 80's outfits..I tried my best making it using crop cut/paste app and change color on photos app but i feel like I missed some parts for the petrikov twins identical outfits like i totally forgot to add the belts , color the shirt and add buttons to it since the black long sleeve shirt part is supposed to be underneath it 😔💧) Also I based 16 yr old simon's hairstyle from the adventure time comic and a fanart that bloodymoonlightsstuff did for me and I tried to make it similar to it but i feel like i messed it up in the picture :( 💧
