Hdg is fucking wild bc youll consume hundreds of thousand of beautifully written smut and prose, do that, for momths then slowly read less and think "hmm ig im done with hdg for now" then you dont stop thinking abt it and it sticks in your brain you think "wow this is lasting awhile this is just smthn i think abt now, the writing and the characters are really good huh?" And then months later find a fic thats literally perfect and immediately slingshots you from that headspace of thinking abt the characters and setting sometimes, to a ravenous frenzy where you just wanna see more of it and you look and see your favorite authors have written more and are like, "damn i missed this way more than i thought, those hot plants really do give you brainworms"
