Day 30 (Feb 7 2025)

So Day 30 was supposed to be on Dec 14, 2024, but so much time passed that I forgot what I did, so it is now Feb 7, 2025.

Oh boy, where to start. Good news is, at least it didn't take another year for me to come back, though no guarantee it'll be consistent because I'm still obsessed with Seventeen. Hopefully, it calms down to the point that I'm in the mood to log in and not binge watch Going Seventeen 😭😭😭😭. The pain of being a fangirl is that its very hard to focus on multiple things because you want to focus on your current obsession.

Anyway, onto what I did. So I logged in and of course had the log-in event thing for those who were away for around 25 days? Then I checked the events and saw that I had roughly a day left for the Lantern Rite 😭😭😭.

It's sad to say, but I always manage to stop playing around Lantern Rite, so I've never completed an event since I started playing Genshin 🥲. Thankfully it was the weekend, but I still had stuff to do for school, so I decided to do just enough to get Xiangling's outfit, which is super cute!!! I really wish I could have done the main quest, but I had no time, so I'm probably gonna just watch a play along because I liked where it was going.

To get enough of the event EXP, I did the fighting game, Puyo Puyo event, and some of the envelop making. When I first saw the Puyo Puyo event, I was pleasantly surprised because I always wanted to try it out!! Of course, it wasn't exactly the same because of the special abilities, but the gist of it was the same. The amount of times I accidentally dropped a block in the wrong location or not rotated enough though 😭😭😭😭😭😭.

I'm thankful that the fighting event was the type that had trial characters, because I really like using them since I don't have them. My favorite was the one that had Ororon as a trial character and the last one which had all the trial characters. For the Ororon one, I used him with my Childe, Fischl, and Kazuha for an electro charged team!! Seeing three of my favorite guys and using them on one team was awesome 🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹. For the last one, I used trial Xilonen and Chasca, and my own Bennet and Fischl. My friend told me later that one of them would not benefit from Bennett's boost (I forgot who), but I was more focused on having 4 elements. I played all of the levels on Hard mode and got mainly 2 stars, one 3 stars, and one 1 stars.

Also, side note, but Chasca was really fun to play!!! I don't know if that would change if she was used in the Overworld, but the animation of the bullet build up and then the automatic shot was super satisfying for me 😂😂.

While I couldn't finish the event, I had a lot of fun with what I could do, and I hope I can do all of the next one. Now I need to find time to log in and finish the Natlan Archon quest!! Which I managed to avoid spoilers for everything EXCEPT what happens to Capitano 😭😭😭. I don't know exact details, but I have an idea and I'm so ready to find out what happens!!

Update

Hey everyone!! I know I said I would try to play more because of winter break buuuuuut I might have gotten distracted with something else?

Long story short, I discovered Seventeen and became a carat and have been deep diving into their content, which has been distracting me from Genshin.

HOWEVER, I still plan on continuing, because I am a trooper!!!!

Day 29 (Nov 23, 2024)

First of all, heeeeeyyyyy!!! I'm finally back!! Finals was brutal and I'm so glad that fall quarter is finally over!! I will do my best to get back to more frequent Daily Genshin posts as I have a lot to catch up to, and who knows how many events and primos I missed 😭😭😭😭.

As you can see from the title, this was the last day I did before stopping, and because this was basically almost three weeks ago, I don't remember much 😅. So what do I remember doing?

Since it was a Saturday, I called my friend to do co-op!! Buuuuut, we ended up spending a lot of time doing hw 😂. Since I finished first, I did more oculi hunting, and managed to finish more of the middle-top region!! Now I just need the oculi around Qince Village and Wuwang hill, and I'm all done with Liyue oculi!!!!

Once they were done with their hw, they logged in and we did 2 bosses, narwhal weekly boss and the dragon in Chenyu Vale. Then I condensed resin for dailies, tea pot stuff and bam! Done for the day!

I'm hoping to get the next Progress Check out sometime tomorrow, and then Day 30 (because I was able to play last nigh!! So yeah, that's it for today and I hope everyone has a good day!

Day 28 (Nov 22, 2024)

This day was a really quick log-in because despite my midterms being finished at this point, I had a bunch of other schoolwork to catch up on.

I had capped out my resin from my last log in, so I did a few rounds of Noblesse domain. Also, I probably forgot to mention, but I'm doing the Noblesse domain because I'm hoping to get good Bloodstained pieces for Lumine. I have an interesting build I wanted to try building with her (still physical) so I need a 2pc from that set. It also doesn't hurt to get better Noblesse pieces for Bennett. All the extra pieces get strongboxed into Shimenawa so I can replace that pyro goblet I have on Childe with a hydro one 😭😭😭😭.

After that, I condensed more resin and did the rest of my dailies, plus teapot stuff. But then, I saw the banners and I HAD TO PULL for ORORON!!! So I did and guess what?

I got Ororon on my first ten pull!!!

I placed him in my teapot and ugh he's such a cute and funny guy like 😭😭😭.

Day 26 and Day 27

My final midterms are DONE!! 😭😭😭😭

Now I just need to catch up to all my classes so I can study for the finals that are around 2-3 weeks away!! But until then, I have more time to log into Genshin!!

Also, I have decided to add the exact dates for each day so it's easier for me to remember what I did, since a lot of times, I'm uploading these waaaaay after they were done.

Day 26 (Nov 16, 2024):

Sine today was a Saturday, of course, I did co-op with my friend!! As usual, they helped me with the weekly bosses and afterwards, we hunted for more bosses!!! At this point, we moved our way into Fontaine and did everything except the narwhal boss.

I also made sure to go to my teapot and craft more furniture and stuff!! However, I don't have enough wood, so I might actually go wood farming 🥹🥹🥹🥹. It's probably weird that I'm using this emoji for it, but it's nice to finally do something that other players have talked/complained about. It's like I'm finally doing the complete Genshin player experience.

Day 27 (Nov 17, 2024):

Since today was a Sunday, and I had school tomorrow, no co-op 😔. As usual I condensed my resin for my dailies, though I did three rounds of Noblesse before that since I already had 5 condensed resin, so I needed to free up space.

Afterwards, I did some Geoculi hunting!! Not a lot though because this was the weeken before my midterm so I knew I couldn't stay up long 😭. I think I was only able to grab 3-4 before stopping. Afterwards, I did teapot stuff and called it a day.

PS: I have a day 28 AND 29 in my drafts and will try to get them done too. 😭😭😭

Just another update to let you guys know that I am not dead and I have NOT given up on this blog 😤😤. I actually do have day 26 and 27 in the works right now as a combined post, I just have no time to write it down 😭.

I have a midterm AND a quiz this upcoming Thursday, and I have dedicated most of my brain towards that. Thankfully, these are my last ones before finals two weeks from now!! So yeah, I should be able to post more either Thursday or Friday, and hopefully I make it through until then.

Day 25

I'm not dead!! Technically!! I'm dead by school standards, because O-chem is a struggle, but otherwise, I am NOT dead, which is why I'm updating today!!

So yeah, day 25 everyone!!

Since I logged out by the Mondstadt waypoint, the first thing I did was collect my box from the box event!! Maybe it's because I took a long break, but it feels like its been forever since the last one.

After that, I collected some cores, and did 5 runs of the Noblesse domain. Sadly, I got nothing and I used the leftovers to strongbox nymph for Childe. I got a potential, but when I leveled it up, it rolled more into atk% instead of the crit stats. I'll probably keep it for now until I get other artifacts to see if the crit ratio can be balanced out, because if I changed it now, the ratio would be really horrible.

I also really need to get a good hydro dmg goblet, while also keeping my 2pc atk set, so I might have to strongbox Shimenawa 😭😭😭.

Overall though, I feel like my Childe International is almost there, so I'm thinking of focusing on building Yun Jin, as well as getting Fischl's and Diona's skills up soon.

I also managed to 9 star floor 8 of the Abyss!!! I have finally reached the upper floors!!

Finally, I ended by going to my Teapot to craft stuff because I have barely touched my Teapot since I got it, but I know now that there are some useful stuff there, so I'm slowly building that Trust Rank.

Day 23 and 24

Finally back after what feels like months without playing!! Since it was a three day weekend, I was able to play for two days!! However, I still had school work to do, which is why the posts for day 23 and 24 are coming out so late 😔.

Day 23:

As it is Saturday, I called my friend for co-op!! I haven't had time to collect Mora, so after helping me fight the Azhdaha and Tartaglia, we went around fighting a bunch of bosses to get the co-op achievements.

We got everything in Liyue and Inazuma, and ugh, fighting the Raiden Shogun was a pain. Last time I fought her was the Archon quest, which I finished a year or more ago. We ended up dying once so we had to go again, and I realize now that I really should have taken a picture so this post doesn't get boring.

The second try was really interesting because I brought my physical anemo Lumine!! It was so nice to play her again!! It felt like years since I last mained her :(. Also, after getting help to defeat the Wolflord in Inazuma, I dread having to farm that for Yun Jin.

We stopped after doing three bosses in Sumeru, which was also really helpful for my exploration because I had not unlocked the waypoints near these bosses at all. Sumeru is probably going to fully be explored last because of the desert (it is very intimidating). We also did 5 runs of Emblem, but nothing amazing in particular came *shrug*.

Finally, I showed them some stuff from Hoyofair, because somehow, despite playing for around as long as me, they had NOT seen any of the hoyofairs!! In particular, I had fun seeing their reaction to "The Diagnosis" because they are a Kaveh fan.

Day 24:

Unlike, day 23, despite being a weekend, I didn't do any co-op play. I DID call my friend, but we played separately for the most part — it was fun to talk to each other while doing our respective thing.

After collecting some cores and condensing my resin, I realized I didn't have the crystalfly trap deployed this entire week so I immediately set it out. Hopefully the amount of cores I have builds up nicely so I can go on a fragile resin binge again. Though I also want to let that build up too.

Once all the daily stuff was taken care of, I set out to do what I said was going to do — geoculi hunting!! I opened up the interactive map and synced up my in game pins to see which ones I collected and started from the bottom while making my way up. There where a few oculi that I didn't mark but collected, but for the most part, everything not marked was not collected and I got a good amount!!

I finished collecting everything in the bottom half of Liyue and leveled up my stature to 8!! Now I just need the top half of Liyue and I can proudly say I maxed out 2 statues!!

Yesterday, I did log in to Genshin, but I only had enough time to condense resin and go to my teapot. That's it. I didn't think I needed to make a whole "Daily Genshin" post about it, but I also didn't want to pretend I didn't log in on my blog so consider this day 22.5.

Progress Check 4

As promised, I am here with progress check 4, and wow I have been doing pretty well 😊😊😊. Hopefully I can continue like this, though I'm a bit sad cause I've been neglecting my HSR account and Aventurine is coming and I need him and his lightcone 😭😭😭😭.

Character Builds

Here they are!!! As always, build from last week is on the left and current build is on the right. Surprisingly, a lot more changed than I thought. I think it's because I mention the change in my daily posts so it doesn't feel like it changed, but all the changes together add up in this post.

Weapon-wise, Polar Star is finally 90/90!!! That means everyone is all set weapon wise!! That's probably going to change once I get a Sapwood Blade for Bennett, but that's probably not going to be for a while 😅.

Talent-wise, Childe's skill and Bennett's burst were upgraded to 9!! I want to crown both, but I sadly don't have the mora for it right now 🥲. In the meantime, I'll get the things needed to crown Childe's burst.

Artifact-wise, Xiangling got a better pyro dmg goblet and an Emblem crit rate circlet so she has a full 4pc Emblem set!!! Her pieces could be better, and I'll probably continue farming it but it's not a priority right now.

Instead, I'm focusing on Bennett and hopefully getting a better feather or goblet. Ideally, I'd like a feather so I can give his current one to Lumine because she needs that crit damage. Or, I could get some good Bloodstained Chivalry pieces while getting Noblesse. Either works 😊.

For Childe..... You can already see the mistake I mentioned in Day 21 😭😭😭. He got a 2pc atk at the price of losing his hydro dmg goblet because I'm dumb. I'll try to get him a hydro dmg goblet after losing his 😔😔. I'll also continue to strongbox Nymph since I would like to switch to a 2pc Nymph instead of HOD.

Kazuha got a better ER sands than EM sands, so I switched to Iron Sting instead of the Fav sword. Xiangling and Bennett currently have no problems with their bursts, so I figured it would be okay. I also got him an onset EM circlet, so I just need an EM goblet and I'll be happy 😭.

Game Content

I had a lot of fun with the Nahida Birthday event!! The main quests were fun to follow along, and I especially liked the part where Nahida accidentally comes to their meeting and Kaveh and Faruzan are trying to come up with excuses 😭😂😭😂😭😂.

The minigames were nice, and the carriage one was almost like a rhythm game so it was my favorite 😊. For the battle minigame, I was able to get enough points for just the primo rewards!!

For the "Feast of Pursuit" event, I have only been able to the next difficulty after the easiest one, which I'm also not surprised about. I still can't believe that the highest difficulty of the first level has THREE Maguu Kenki 😲.

I did 2 small quests in Liyue in hopes of doing some exploration to get Mora because I am close to broke 👍.

Conclusion

I need to slow down on upgrading artifacts and building characters because I need to build up my mora supply. I also need to visit my teapot and increase the trust rank because I could really use the extra rewards.

I'm also hoping to slowly collect geoculi to increase stamina, and finish that one quest where you activate 9 pillars.

Day 22

I know I still need to post Progress Check 4, but I didn't have the time so I'm posting this first before I forget 😅.

So what did I do today? I collected the cores, but I actually didn't condense any resin. I probably should have, but I was really distressed by how much mora I had left that I forgot 😅. I did 2 small quests in Liyue, the ones you get from talking to the NPCs in Liyue Harbor, and found some chests. I opened up the interactive map so I could see all the geoculi I needed to get and immediately realized I could not get them all at once. I'll just grab what I can get with the time I have and hopefully get them all within a week 👍.

After searching up some 5.1 abyss runs with physical teams, I have decided to build Yunjin for my Physical Traveler team!! It's still gonna be a while until I can get to her, but I can collect the Glaze Lillies needed while I focus on Childe International (Also yay I can try out Nahida to collect them 😁😁😁😁).

Finally, I tackled the Abyss!! Two and a half floors!! I managed to get 9 stars for floor 5, and 6 for floor 6 (mainly because I didn't realize there was one more floor and left early 😅). I used Childe international for one side, and my main team for the other side. Since Bennett was moved to Childe International, I replaced him with Sucrose since she's higher leveled than some of my other characters. I definitely won't be able to do the higher floors, but I can do my best with the middle floors 👍👍. I'll try to continue the next time I log in.

Day 21

It's day 21 which means another week has passed!! That's officially three weeks of daily genshin posts!!! I can't believe I managed to keep this up for so long 😭. Though I will admit, it's really hard to get any time in when midterms come around.

As today was a weekend, I called my friend and they helped me out again with the weekly bosses before we did artifact farming!! We started off with emblem, which we did most of our runs for and I got a decent Shimenawa piece on Childe!! But then I was an idiot and I accidentally leveled a Shimenawa pyro damage goblet that I thought was a hydro dmg one and used my old hydro damage goblet to level it up soooo.. oops? (My poor Childe has no hydro dmg bonus now, how can I call myself a Childe simp if I mess up his artifacts so badly 😭😭😭) The only good thing is that he's on a proper 2p2pc set and according to akasha, that makes him way better than my old build so I guess it's not too bad? You can judge for yourself when I post Progress check 4.

Anyway, after emblem, we did a few runs of the Pale Flame domain because I wanted a better feather for Lumine as her current one is still a 4 star feather that I got her about a year ago. Also this may be dumb, but I wanna improve my main team and tackling Abyss with it and Childe International before building the Aggravate Keqing team. If people can 36 star the abyss with two 4-stars, then I can do the bare minimum with my physical traveler team 😤. I'm thinking of building Yun jin since she has a normal attack dmg buff, but I need to look into it a bit more. I could also replace Diona with Kaeya if I do switch to Yun Jin, but my heart breaks at the idea of doing so 😭😭😭. We'll see.

Next, we did a few runs of the Nymph domain and then strongboxed with the leftovers. I got some potential pieces for some of the other characters, but I have no more fodder so I'll take my time to level them up. Also, I did NOT realize how low my mora has gotten, which I honestly shouldn't be too surprised as I mainly farm and upgrade and haven't done any pure exploration in a while. I'm thinking of maxing out the Liyue statue when I have time as it also gives the chance to go through the parts of Liyue I haven't been to before!!

Finally, we fought all the Mondstadt bosses and the Liyue ones for the coop achievements!! I got enough primos for 60 wishes so I pulled for my guaranteed Nahida and YAAAAAYYYY!! She came in around 30 pity! I ended up doing another 10 pull to get Kuki since the previous ones gave me Sethos and some 4 star weapons, and thankfully she did come!! I ended up wasting another 10 pull on the weapon banner, but I managed to reign myself in and have 10 pulls saved for Ororon (and Zhongli)!!!! Overall, I got what I wanted with a C0 Nahida, C1 Sethos, and C0 Kuki!!

Day 20

I risked it and decided to play even though I still have stuff to do cause I'm deprived and Idk how much time I'll have over the weekends since I need to study 😭😭😭.

So what did I do yesterday?

After collecting some cores and condensing my resin, I checked which domains were available, and thanks to the new update to the crafting table, I saw that I could get enough books to level and crown my Childe's skill. I only had to use 4 of the 5 resin I condensed!!

Before enemy farming, I did the carriage minigame in Nahida's birthday event and finished all the levels with all three challenges cleared!!

Then, I searched up for some fatui farming routes and followed one of the ones in Liyue, which was thankfully enough!! Now all I need is the weekly boss drop, which might take a bit, though I have enough dream solvents to convert the other drops if needed.

Using the crafting table, I checked what I needed for Polar star, and after fighting some specters and two riftwolves, I got the drops needed to do ascend and level it all the way to 90!!! So Childe's weapon is finally done and now I just need to crown his skill and burst!!

However, his artifacts are still confusing me 😭😭😭. I looked through sone of the resources on the Childe mains discord (which I probably should have done before) and apparently 2 pc HOD and Nymph is not too different from 2pc hydro/2pc atk, so you know what? This is what imma do: farm Emblem and hopefully get good Shimenawa as well as Emblem, then strongbox Nymph with leftovers.

I think I'm just really attached to my HOD 2pc, but if I get better artifacts to replace them, it'll be easier to shift. The issue is just that they are not bad pieces, so it's hard to replace them. Oh well, that's fine. I already knew that Childe International was going to need a lot of investment 😤.

Day 19

Warning: some spoilers for Nahida's birthday event

I underestimated the stuff I needed to do to catch up and decided to not play until I got most stuff done so I didn't stay up too late. It worked, mostly.

Anyways, as always, I collected some cores, and condened my resin, however, I didn't use it as I wanted to finish the main quests for Nahida's birthday.

And it was AMAZING!!! The scene where Nahida came and they (Kaveh and Faruzan) were all coming to make up excuses for what they were actually planning was hilarious 😭😭😭😭. Nilou's outfit was gorgeous and the cutscene made me want to cry. They started the cutscene similar to her teaser and it hit me in the gut 😭😭😭. Nahida's surprise with the Aranara and then bringing everyone into the dream was amazing too 😭🥹😭🥹😭. Finally, the picture they all took to celebrate 😭😭😭.

It took me way longer than I thought to finish the quests because I was forced to do some of Nilou's Story Quest since it was occupying the location and then Nilou herself in the third part of the story. Now I just need to do the side events and that's done!!

I really also really need to farm fatui and riftwolves and the specters, because my Childe's Polar Star is still 80/80 and I want to crown his skill and burst 😭😭😭😭.

Day 18

Okay, yesterday, I made the dumbest mistake ever.

Since it was Sunday, all the domains were open so I was going to use the day's amount of condensed resin to farm for it. I grab some cores, condense 4 resin, and go to the Mondstadt talent book domain. Then guess what? I ACCIDENTALLY FARMED FOR THE WRONG TALENT BOOK 😭😭😭😭😭

I didn't realize until I went to the crafting table to craft the purple versions 😔😔😔😔. The way my heart dropped when I realized, like, why did you not double check past me?!?!!?? I ended up leveling Fischl's burst once.

Afterwards, I managed to get enough stars for the co-op event!! Overall, it was really fun, and most of the time, I just used Fischl, as a lot of times, the buff was a dendro reaction one. There was one time the buff was a cryo reaction one, and no one else brought a cryo so I brought Diona to help out. Hopefully her shielding and healing helped everyone because I definitely wasn't doing a lot of damage 😔.

Then, I ended the day by finishing the first quest of the birthday quests!! I can't wait to see Nahida and celebrate with her!!

Day 17

Once again, it is the weekend, and I was able to farm with my friend again!! Serious thanks to that friend, because they make farming so much funner and in general, help me defeat the domain because I would not be able to other wise 🥹🥹🥹.

Before farming, they helped me out with the two weekly bosses I needed help with as usual. We had to do Azhdaha again because they accidentally died early, but that's ok 👍.

We started doing the Emblem hell and we did around around 15-ish runs before I finally got an ok Crit rate circlet for Xiangling, and thus, finally giving her a proper 4pc Emblem set!! It could be better, but for now, we'll call it done and move on so I don't waste resin trying to perfect one character.

Afterwards, we did some runs of the VV domain to get at least one EM piece that wasn't a flower or feather but nada. Zilch.

Of course, that's where strongboxing came in, and I put almost every spare artifact there, and whooooo!!! I got an EM sands and circlet!! However, while I kept the circlet, I actually changed my mind on the sands, because I also got an ER sands with way better substats, and after checking my Bennett and Xiangling, I realized, I might actually not need the fav sword. So I gave him the ER sands and switched to Iron Sting. I will have to test out if Xiangling can get her burst without fav sword help, but if it works out, whoooo!!!

Now I just need an EM goblet for Kazuha, one more piece Noblesse piece for Bennett, and I'm actually not sure for Childe 😅. After doing more reddit diving, I discovered my initial plan of 2pc2pc hydro dmg bonus would not be beneficial in the long run, and that I'd be better off with 2pc atk 2pc hydro dmg. Now I do have a glad crit rate circlet on him, but I'm not really doing any bosses right now so I might strongbox Shimenawa when I continue doing Emblem after getting Bennett and Kazuha's pieces.

It ended up being a bit late, so we ended our coop after that, but I decided to finally try out the co-op event once to see if I could get a few of the rewards at least, and it wasn't too bad 😊😊😊.

I was worried I wouldn't able to bring in any of my characters, but the buff for the room was a dendro-reaction buff, and after seeing who everyone else chose, I chose my Fischl 😊😊😊!! I don't know how well I contributed in the end, but we passed all the stages so yeah!!
