captain's log 10-01-2024:

I bought these Skims back in August and have since wore them around to lounge in, at work, and to roller skate. I got a size medium so that it would do the proper shapewear effects, but personally, I do prefer a more relaxed fit when it comes to clothing so I would go a size up if I do decide to repurchase. They are very tight and keep everything nice and snug, while still being reasonably comfortable. There's also an opening at the crotch area so it's still easy to go to the restroom, without having to struggle taking it off and on again.

I wore them as underwear; it was a very lightweight layer of clothing and nothing that would be too hot to wear. I did love how smooth it made my body look and how clothes draped easily over it. It's definitely comfortable enough to wear for an 8hr work day with minimal labor, but I did struggle breathing in it when I went skating. Maybe it's a skill issue and I need to do some more cardio in it though.

Overall, I would buy another set of Skims. The material is soft and seems durable with proper care. I would, however, size up to a large for a more slimmed out, rather than snatched, look.
