Journal of Dreams Wondrous item, common
___
While this journal is on your person, it magically records the contents of any dream you have. The dream is labeled with your name, date, and dream duration. The dream itself is recorded in long-form prose, as if it were a short story.
If you cast or are targeted by the “dream” spell while the journal is on your person, you can choose to transform the dream into one from the journal. To do so, the messenger and the target of the spell must both be willing, and either of them can end the dream (and spell) at any time.

This planchette is made of bone. You can place the planchette on a surface that has letters or premade responses written on it (such as a piece of parchment or carved table), at which point you can perform a special ritual. The ritual takes 1 minute, over the course of which you can ask a corpse within 30 feet of you one question. The creature knows only what it knew in life, including the languages it knew. Answers are usually brief, cryptic, or repetitive, and the creature is under no compulsion to offer a truthful answer if you are hostile to it or it recognizes you as an enemy. The answer is given out slowly over the course of the ritual, moving the planchette to individual letters or responses over time. You must keep both your hands on the planchette for the duration of the ritual.
The planchette can be used in this way three times. It regains all expended uses daily at dusk. If the ritual is interrupted before the end of the minute, it still expends a use of the planchette.

Void Thrall – Medium elemental, any chaotic alignment
Some say that the void thrall is a harbinger of a great evil – a messenger sent to signify the coming of a creature born from nothingness; an entity so hungry that it devours villages and cities as a whole. Others, however, believe that the thrall is merely a fading echo of said cataclysmic being. Lost and aimless, it wanders the lands as a faint reminder of a tremendous battle fought out decades or even centuries ago. Whatever the truth, the void thrall is a remarkable phenomenon. Where it passes, it leaves its eerie gifts behind. Hidden by time, these little gems bring misfortune to whomever roams close.

Destined to climb the food chain to the absolute top, the dinosaur hatchling snatches and bites whatever gets too close. With playful curiosity it explores its tiny world, ignorant of the literally significant role it will play once it grows old. Until it can follow in it’s parents giant steps, however, the undergrowth is a grim place solely defined by eat or be eaten…

After the gooze’s striking impact on Falbheim and its surroundings, Tisdor Dwindleteeth III further indulged in his vile research. The snooze was the succeeding result of his advanced experiments in slime and slither – not as evil as the previous invention but still quite chaotic in nature. It is said that the creature’s peculiar substance helped Tisdor Dwindleteeth III to literally snooze his otherwise sleepless nights away. Eventually, however, the slimy snake was set free as well – like all of his abominations either by cruel intention, sloppy carelessness or because the eccentric necromancer actually cared about his creatures and wanted them to thrive.

The fingers of this dark silver ear cuff move to gently hold onto your ear. While wearing it, undead creatures can always understand the literal meaning of any language that you speak. In addition, you gain 3 temporary hit points whenever a living creature within 30 feet of you is slain. You can gain these temporary hit points even when you have 0 hit points: when you do, you’re immediately stabilized, but are still unconscious.
