Small Tips For ClipStudio

I have some hours before work so I’ll use them to actually detail why I’ve found CSPaint to be so efficient for bastard-aligned painters who like to take shortcuts.

This will seem familiar to most of you guys, but this functions a little bit different from Photoshop. It turns everything you draw on the layer into editable curves, but retains the aliased smoothness of an ordinary raster layer. Practically a cheat to access the whole suite of amazing tools CS offers for lineart. Such as:

The vector eraser is The Best™. You can be as messy as possible and this tool erases the excess. One pen-flick and it’s done. Much faster than cleaning it up by hand. You can also tweak the settings of this brush to encapsulate more/less lines as you erase but that’s getting a little more involved. Anyway, last thing:

Maybe the only thing better than the vector eraser. There are multiple settings, but these three are the most handy. You can smooth wiggly edges, connect broken strokes, and tweak the width/weight to exactly how you want it. This also has a ton of settings you can play around with. It’s great!

There’s a lot more tools you can use, but you get the point! It’s a really good drawing program. I recommend it!

i finally put something down and completed something that i like by drawing along to pub draw! its nice to have something new done that i consider more or less final because ive been in a real dry spell recently. including the sketch bc i like the way it ended up

hey @callmearnaud !! winter’s monk specialization is path of the long death. it fit the best with their backstory but also is just a fuckin’ neat ass specialization in general so I’m hopeful I’ll someday get to see what it’s like in action

ive gotten,,,,, really into bnha recently and created my own oc student for it bc its such a fun concept to think about....... details about her are under the cut

this is haruka momomiya!!

-shes in the support class -she likes to weld and build things -her quirk is melting point: she takes internal kinetic energy/heat and radiant energy from her environment to super heat or melt anything she touches + manipulate it however she likes -taking attacks full-on allows her to stockpile power and amp up the damage of her attacks. the more heat/energy the attack has behind it, the more she powers up (there are limits to her stockpiling, however.) she suffers more when conditions are dark or cold, since theres less heat to draw from. -shes constantly cold! its a side effect of her quirk, and even in summer she wears long sleeves and complains about being chilly -the inhibitors on her arms function very much like solar batteries. during the day they charge from direct sunlight so that when haruka’s in low light or colder temperatures she can still have a source of light/heat energy to draw from and not run out as quickly. the boots she wears also contain similar components around the calves, as well as the chest piece to her suit. -her suit is much heavier & thicker than it looks, and has been designed to withstand extreme heat as well as melt with her.
