Personally I feel like I became more interested in Edwin and this is something that I've been curious about ever since it crossed my mind, what was Edwin's relationship with Vangerlis's parents?

Their relationship is great and very harmonious.

Vangerlis admires Edwin a lot (not necessarily because of the image that was passed down to him), but because — fortunately — his mind recognized the efforts his uncle made to give him a good life (and he succeeded): education, manners, and things that held value for his “childlike” mind.

They always make plans to visit each other and spend hours talking, clearing doubts and catching up on everything — Vangerlis would do anything for his uncle (even more than he would for Xander), just as Edwin would do anything for his nephew.

Would have Edwin preferred having a "normal" nephew rather than what Vangerlis has become or is he happy for what he turned out to be? I remember you saying that he was trying to manage his own condition so I was wondering about that

Edwin loves his nephew regardless of what he would become in the future — he's happy to have seen him grow and have his own business (which, in case I haven’t mentioned, is a diner that Vangerlis opened himself). He’s also glad that Vangerlis continued the Friday tradition (the pigs). But sometimes, Edwin finds himself melancholic, wondering what Vangerlis might have been like if he’d had the conditions and chances to treat the boy, or if his medications hadn’t stopped working.

Personally your use of "him" kind of reminds me of how "him" was used to represent the demon god in the Promised Neverland (that show is so underrated I swear-)

I love The Promised Neverland (even though the anime got bad in the later seasons) — it still really excites me, and there's always the manga to keep me entertained.

How would Vangerlis react to knowing that Ethan came back to life and that there is a high possibility of him living with Xander?

Vangerlis would be angry on a level I can’t even put into words.

Both for personal reasons and because of an "injustice" that someone important to him went through – which I’ll talk more about in the future – but the only thing I’ll say for now is that this someone is basically to Vangerlis what Destiny is to Christian and Zeyn, what Michael is to Micah and Ethan.

He would try his hardest to prevent the two of them from living together.

Lowkey random but I just noticed how your banner quickly fades from "don't you trust me?" To "don't trust me" Since most of the time whenever someone says this it just means that whatever they're guiding people to do is just going to ruin their lives and that your first instinct should be not to trust them which I honestly find a clever idea for a banner. Do you by any chance know the analog horror series "the smile tapes"?

Yes! I know it!!

I love that analog horror about the smile virus — it’s given me lots of ideas, and its aesthetic really reminds me of the Mandela Catalogue.

But it was probably based on The Mandela Catalogue’s style, since after that analog horror, pretty much everything started to feel kind of repetitive (which made me a bit tired of a lot of analog horrors — not because they’re bad, just way too predictable).

Ngl the way that you wrote Vangerlis and the events is honestly so interesting to me, like whenever I see your comments I am just like "how do they even come up with a personality like this. A character like this. How do they explain the events so well and so professionally like. How." I just keep rereading your comments and not because I forgot something in your OC lore, it's because I am genuinely so enamoured by your writing that it feels weird to even send you an ask like how it feels weird to actually communicate with your favorite developer or writer. What are Vangerlis's thoughts on the fact that Ethan and Xander could be together in another universe without all the trauma? (In the army dreamers vid)

Vangerlis would likely have a very complex reaction to that idea.

At first, he might dismiss it with a bitter laugh — "Another universe ? Tch... sounds like a lazy excuse for loss." He doesn't believe in what could have been — he only sees what is and what can still be shaped by his own hands. But deep down, the thought might gnaw at him. Not out of jealousy per se, but out of a twisted sense of injustice — that in some other world, Xander might be “whole,” untouched by pain, and not dependent on him.

That threatens the foundation of his obsession — the belief that only he can see the true value of Xander, the "pearl" hidden in rot.

He might grow quiet
