content: you catch beidou after a party on the Crux, but she says some unexpected things to you

The Crux crew was celebrating another successful mission on the ocean, this meant music, dancing, games, and most importantly, alcohol. Most if not everyone was jamming to music while completely drunk. Surprisingly, you didn’t join on the wasted-level drinking. It never seemed like a good idea to leave every workable person on the ship wasted. So you took a few shots but never past your ability.

From the upper deck you watched everyone and from the corner of your eye you spotted her. She was drinking away like usual. Seeing her like a fool with everyone made you smile brightly. Suddenly she turned her head turning right at you until you made eye contact. Immediately you turned away and got back on lookout.

When night came and everyone was either passed out or puking, you decided it was finally time you got your break after the whole night of staring at empty waters. You were making your way to the hammock room when you heard banging noises near the captain’s quarters.

You knocked on the door. “Captain Beidou? Are you okay in there?” You asked as you opened the door.

Your eyes widened when you were met with Beidou on the floor completely flat on the ground. You ended up bursting out in laughter right at the door.

“W- what are you laughing at…” She dragged out sounding dizzy. She turned to you and smiled. “Oh, it’s just you Y/n.”

You raised your eyebrow as you began walking towards her. “Why do you sound so upset? Here.” You took out a damp handkerchief, kneeled next to her and held it to her forehead. “Are you okay now Captain?”

She nodded and unexpectedly grabbed your wrist. “Keep it here for a while…”

By now you two were centimeters away from one another, you could smell the alcohol like you drank it yourself.

Herr eyes shifted up and she said, “You know, Y/n, you’re really pretty.” Out of the blue.

You choked on nothing and scooted away. “Wh- Beidou you can’t say that sort of stuff.”

“Why not..? It was so hard to see your face when you were so far away..” She whined.

“…Quit it.” Though you were completely flustered right now, you decided to lift her up and onto her bed. “Just rest for the night alright?”

She frowned. “Ehh.. you know, if you stayed I’d be way happier..” She said as she leaned her head on the mattress, causing her hair to fling all over.

You weren’t expecting much of a reaction when you tucked her hair behind her ears, but surprisingly, it made her face flush a light shade of pink. You smiled at your succession.

But you didn’t let it get to your head. “Seriously Beidou, don’t say anything else, you’re clearly drunk.”

It was then she suddenly sat herself up like nothing and got up close to your face while cupping both sides of your cheeks. She was so fast that you couldn’t protest, not that you were going to anyway.

“Y/n… I may be drunk, but these are my complete sober thoughts…”

At this point you didn’t know if you would be able to control yourself with her acting like this. Yet you had to keep yourself composed, for now.

You pulled her away. Because as much as you wanted to, you didn’t want to do anything with her like this. “If you want something from me, then you can wait till tomorrow night when you’re not out of your mind.” You told her.

“I’ll hold you to it..”

And as you thought, she was too dizzy to rebel more against you. After a few more minutes, she ended up passing out on her bed. You ended up leaving with a heated face, and something to look forward to the following day.

Scotty x fem!cashier reader

It was a Tuesday. 6:30 pm. You were working your evening shift as a cashier just as you usually would, scanning items with music in half your ear. While scanning a customers few items, chips and some sodas, you felt eyes on you. After finishing up with your customer you slowly scanned the room and spotted her. Kinda short kinda not, dark brown hair brushed back. “She’s cute”, you thought. To be honest you truly didn’t mind her eyes on you. She must have noticed you staring right back at her because she looked away from rather quickly. You giggled quietly to yourself, finding her shyness to be adorable. You watched as she quickly left the store after checking out. And frowned to yourself knowing you probably wouldn’t see her again, or so you thought.

After stepping out of the bus you caught your mind wandering to that girl you saw in the store. The way she looked at you utterly star struck despite the two of you having never met in your lives. The way she unconsciously smiled at you, it made your heart flutter even though you couldn’t quite figure out why. You thought about her for the rest of the night until you eventually fell asleep.

Eventually you made it to work, a rather boring job but it sufficed. You continued on as you normally would, except today you couldn’t get that girl off your mind. What’s her name? What’s she like? Is she a college student? Or maybe she already has a nice job? You snapped out of your thoughts to the sound of someone’s voice, “Hello? Um..just these please.” You began to stammer, a little embarrassed, “Oh! Yes I’m sorry, here let me get these for you.” You grabbed a hold of the items on the scanner, and suddenly realized you felt eyes practically burning into your head. Looking up hesitantly you were met with the girl you’ve been thinking about for an entire 24 hours. “Oh!..Hey! I recognize you!” You said with a smile. “I..um..recognize you too.” She replied, you could tell she was nervous, but you found it adorable. “What’s your name? Mine’s Y/N!” “I’m Scotty”

From then on you began noticing her more. She was at the store when your shift started and you caught multiple glances of her until your shift ended. You must admit at some point it did feel a bit like stalking, but you chalked it up to her just being too shy to approach you, which is partially true. It continued on like this until you decided that it was time to have a genuine conversation with her. You called in for your lunch break and approached her.

“Hey”

“Oh- hi..”

“Is there a reason you won’t come and talk to me? I promise I don’t bite”, you smiled at her.

She slouched into her shoulders, averting her gaze from yours.

“I’m sorry. I don’t mean to be creepy. I just think you’re beautiful.”

Your eyes widen, and you felt your face heat up at the compliment.

“Wow thank you. I don’t…I don’t think anyone’s ever really called me that.”

“Really? Well that’s what I think. You’re so beautiful.” She says with a small smile

“Thank you Scotty. Hey, what’s your number?”

How is it wrong? I don’t agree that they shared a lot of romantic potential. All of the things i stated DO stop it from being a good ship because of the way things are between them and how they even came to meet in the first place.

sorry if this is controversial but it’s been being talked abt and i want to give my 2 cents:

WAKANDA FOREVER SPOILERS BELOW

Shuri x Namor is stupid, here’s why:

The bracelet being helping Shuri recreate the heart shaped herb is just a coincidence and is no way related to their “love”. fight me on this

Their story being related to beauty and the beast does not help your case. beauty and the beast may be a children’s movie, but the relationship itself is still extremely toxic and the two shouldn’t even be together. for very similar reasons as to why Shuri and Namor shouldn’t. fight me on this

He agreed to the alliance solely for the purpose of world domination. he doesn’t give 2 fucks abt Shuri or Wakanda, he clearly states this at the end of the movie. fight me on this

HE KILLED HER MOM!!! that brought even more grief and indescribable pain to her doorstep. she was completely consumed by vengeance after that happened. fight me on this

The way he looked at her was partly genuine because he genuinely wanted them to take over the world together. not because of love. fight me on this

Him giving her his mothers bracelet was partly genuine, for the sake of world domination. NOT for love!!! fight me on this

it’s more than “shuri being for the lesbians/girls” (which i don’t disagree with). this isn’t enemies to lovers. it’s just enemies. there is no love. there was respect until respect was lost. fight me on this
