I really liked that T'Challa was sick and hid it for the sake of being the Panther.

Cuz that's exactly what Chadwick Boseman did, they really carried that honourable aspect of Chadwick into T'Challa.

M’Baku’s first scene in the movie was him coming into the throne room while chomping down a carrot, called the general of one of the world’s most lethal armies a “bald headed she demon,” continued to minimize a potential dangerous enemy to Wakanda by calling him a “fish man” and I support him for doing all that. “Shuri is stronger than me bc I would’ve accepted Namor’s offer to burn the world down.” Nah, bro. Shuri is stronger than me bc if somebody killed the last of my family, I wouldn’t have spared them no matter how right about colonizers or how kind they’d been to me previously or how hot they were. & I certainly wouldn’t have had the strength to carry on, let alone lead a nation.

That’s where Shuri’s strength comes from, not from rejecting Namor’s proposal.
