As a trans woman people will come to your post to argue nonsense and then the second you push back even slightly against their nonsense they misgender you immediately like clockwork

We did a super fun pirate themed murder mystery party this last week with my friend group.🏴☠️

I honestly think this is the most fem I have ever been! it was pretty jarring😅. first time doing my makeup to look pretty (with the help of my friend😁).

you’re joking around with an older transfem but after she stops laughing she calls you a ‘funny little girl’ and stares directly into your soul.

Regarding trump getting elected
Hey kiddos, I know things are really hard right now and this is really bad news for the queer community. Things won't be easy and there's no use pretending they will be. But I promise, if we support each other, we will survive this. There is hope. There is action. There is resilience. There is strength. There is protest. And there will be a trans inclusive future if we make there be one.

"it's trendy because it's a way to deny being straight without having to ever enter a same sex relationship"
So, transgender aren't part of the community if they are attracted to the opposite gender ? What about non-binary? Smell like biphobia too.
I guess some asexuals don't count too... Gays and lesbians who have never been in a relationship don't count either 🤔
I'm so fucking tired of the queerphobia within the community... Ridiculous.

Being a femme trans woman is so valid but I wish being a butch trans woman was more widely accepted in the trans community. I feel like it shouldn’t be a problem when I want to just wear men’s clothes and dress like a butch lesbian (of which I am…. Well a futch to be exact) but I hate the idea that trans women have to be ultra femme and follow the stereotypical women structures. Like honestly fuck society and the patriarchy; being a woman should not be based on dress or how one acts. I am a woman and I will not be devalued due to the fact of wanting to be somewhat masc sometimes! It’s not your body it’s mine and I’ll do whatever the hell I want to it.
Masc trans women are valid women too!

trans women can be butch without it invalidating their womanhood. trans men can be femme without it invalidating their manhood. if masculine cis women and feminine cis men exist, there will always be masculine trans women and feminine trans men. if being a butch woman doesn't invalidate cis womanhood, it doesn't invalidate trans womanhood. is being a femme man doesn't invalidate cis manhood, it doesn't invalidate trans manhood. trans people are allowed to be gender non conforming, too- this delight isn't reserved just for the cisgendered.

'Kay, so one thing that's changed fairly recently about my daily life experience being a trans woman and also a rather masc-ish leaning lesbian is that when I'm misgendered (which happens a lot, especially at work), I'm not really bothered anymore. It doesn't feel like an insult to my self anymore, just a 'yep, you definitely got that wrong, mate', and then I just carry on. Yes, I look pretty masc, but in many situations you'll notice the boobs. They may be tiny, but they're there. But people confuse masc lesbians all the time to be rather androgynous looking men, so it kinda feels like I belong. Like I made it. Which is a little odd, but still...
Do any of you folks have had similar experiences? Feel free to share, I'd love to read them!
