Bi-Cis woman here; Not only is Montresor hot, he is the main reason I started to read Nevermore. Like, while scrolling through comics to read, this gorgeous, long-haired, toned, shit-eating grin looking ass man glared me in the eye and I just HAD to.

I'll just go over the reason I think I and so many find him attractive:

I think he appeals to a side of me, that still deep down enjoys the fantasy of "I can fix him". He is so morally fucked up and the characters he is typically paired up with (Ada and William), help to embody this trope even more.

There's also the whole religious trauma thing. I know it's a huge appeal to a lot of people and while I'm not personally affected by such traumas, I can totally see why this would be such a fascination to some.

Nevermore isn't shy when it comes to appealing to certain tropes that people find attractive and Montresor is no exception. Again, some people will instantly be attracted to male characters with long hair. Huge bonus is that he also has low-set bedroom eyes, the classic crooked nose that is also considered attractive. He is also just often associated with, let's say for the PG13 demographic, visually appealing scenarios. Tying another character up in chains, making one character bark like a dog, even just pathetically bleeding out on the floor, like, yeah, it works.

Also also, DEMON FORM?!?!? HELLO?? Not only is this such a typical attractive visual for a lot of male-attracted individuals, commonly shown in a lot of different media(also like any monsterlover LOVES a hot demon) . His is particularly intentionally meant to be appealing. With the long flowing blonde hair, exposed upper body and his very intentionally placed piercings on said chest. The fact that one of his powers is literally "oppression". Like come oooon.

ALSO LIKE, My attraction to Montresor has caused me to artistically sin beyond any human comprehension. I have many other examples of my iconic artwork, but I don't wanna be too weird on main LOL.
