Victor Von Doom was a greedy man always interested in power. He lived for power and when he had the opportunity presented before him with the mission with Reed Richards, he couldn't refuse. Victor was an avid man, he wanted to prove that not only he was more genius but he was the one who was able to finance this project.

Although, something went wrong. Terribly wrong. The shields that were supposed to proetect them didn't hold against a huge storm that was supposed to kill them. Fate turned him into something else. Doom and destiny. He had always struggled with those. With fate, with destiny but it appears like he shaped into a perfect man.

That night Victor couldn't sleep. His ache on his hands and his chest was so intense, he doomed Reed for his inadequacy, his incompetence. When you can't find a responsible he simply gave the blame to him. What's happening to me? Victor was losing his mind, sleep, his strengths but he found something else. That storm had changed his DNA into a metal unknown even to the best chemical analyst. He wanted to be a man of power and so he did become one. An evil man of power, who doomed destiny and these four circus people for doing that to him. He could have easily fixed his face, if he wanted but he didn't want to. He wanted to leave humanity somehow, he wanted to create the perfect, flawless man. A being who ia better and since god gifted him with gifts why would he refuse them? (edited)
