Now, a dialog box will appear that would let you know that the file is an ISOHybrid image which eventually tells you that it can be written in either of the two ways - as an ISO or a DD image. The recommended would be the “ISO image” option which would be pre-selected. Click on “OK” to continue.

Another warning will appear which would making you aware of the fact that everything present on the drive will be deleted. Click on “ok” to continue.

The process of ISO installation on the drive would start. A green file progress bar will show up at the bottom of your screen to make you aware of the process completion. Once the green bar gets full and the process gets completed, you may like to close Rufus and remove your flash drive.

2nd Step (Running Android on your Computer) - USB Drive Boot

Now, you would like to boot your system from that same USB drive. You might need to alter a few settings in the BIOS. To make these changes, read this manual.

Now that everything has been set up , start your PC and press either f10 or f12 to enter into a boot menu. From this boot menu, choose your USB drive.

After all this been done, a menu will appear asking you how to run the installation - Live CD mode or Install it to Hard Disk. Choose the first option, that is, to run Android x86 without installing.

A few seconds later, you will see the android boot animation and a setup menu will appear.
