Forgive yourself. You’re only convincing yourself that everything is your fault; but no one else ever blamed you. {For healen.}

Guilt
I let you die---
The weight of the casted thought leaves him with a numb feeling in his bones. It rivets though his frame, courses though him like a dead weight. The suffocating pressure that seems to make him want to squeeze the bile from his stomach to his throat. The echoes, the scattered fragments of his mind turned on itself.
Tumblr media
The scattered bits of pieces- fractured memory. It's like gluing a puzzles back together with all black pieces. Cloud can see the tremors, feel them in his frame. The response to him trying to repress the memory. The blood- oh god the blood and- his screaming. The screaming that had driven him into hysterics almost.
He had gone-
                 He had fallen
                                           so
                                        𝒍𝒐𝒘
His sins would never be forgiven. Never be casted away. He had done the damage- he had caused his best friend to die. The haunting memory of Zack telling him to run. If only he had listened, if only he had done as asked. The memory that was around his death was blurred- so blurred. It hurt to think about  it.
Tumblr media
Cloud exhales a breath. One that feels tight in his chest that feels burdened. The weight casted upon his shoulders, the suffocating weight that pulls him under even more. The numbed feeling that launches itself from the numb, that seeps into his flesh and bone.  His fingers digging into his palms.
           He can't ever forgive himself.
These were his sins to bare.
                                                                   This was his
                                                                                            burden.

Zack you should run from the mun, they're a devil in disguise.

It’s not that he’s supposed to be traveling all the time. It just happens, it gets his mind off of things. Things being the suffocating weight that hangs over him from Zack’s death. Something that he still isn’t quite over, Cloud doesn’t think that he’ll ever really be over that. It’s why he keeps to himself, and walks the other way when people try to care or understand him.
He doesn’t need people. They weren’t of use to him before, why start caring for them now?

There's almost a thud when someone runs into him. It's not expected to be honest. Not at all. Cloud is almost always traveling though, almost always and keeping to himself. He almost never comes into contact with other people unless needed so. So when a young women bumps into him, it throws him off a bit.
                                   "Excuse me."
He mutters, but none the less remaining polite, for now. Better to show that he has manners than throw them out like he does with Tifa, and it always gets her mad when he does that.
She’s wandered off to far again, she notes absently. She hasn’t been able to make her way back to Dia and the others, and now nothing is looking familiar at all. Which, come to think of it, it is kind of odd that she doesn’t recognize anything—she can’t have traveled that far, can she?
…Maybe just a little farther and she’ll find them, Le decides after a moment more of poking around the area. After all, someone was walking towards her; so even if it isn’t her trainer, another human would be able to help her get back! Excitedly, her ears flick forward and she scurries around the corner—

There's a moment of silence that breeches between the pair. Cloud is a good listener mostly, a really good listener. He purses his lips for a moment looking up towards the sky that the young man with almost mirrored blonde spikes was talking about.
"It's fleeting, moments. Most people don't realize that what they have is so precious."
The words are soft spoken, but almost serious. Cloud has always had that sort of edge in his voice. A type of softness but it also is one that is serious, and almost seems to refrain from spilling too much emotion at once.
"Not until, it's gone at least."
“It’s such a waste, isn’t it?” The young, blond haired spike began in a soft whisper, his cobalt gaze resting upon a collected, contemplative man who drifted in his own silence. For a while, the young man didn’t think he’d say anything, for he wanted to respect the space the other had surrounded himself in. But when the man looked up to the sky, his thoughts seeping off the mucosa of his eyes, Ventus felt he had to say something. Although he was sure the less he said, the more it was appreciated that he could recognize the value of silence. There were little details that Ventus could pick up from the man; small, but significant, details that told him everything he needed to know about the man for the time being. One of them being, that the stranger before him was a man of little words, and another was that he looked to the sky and saw how it reached over the ends of the Earth.
Tumblr media
“It’s a waste— all this beauty, all this stillness, in the skies,” The Knight whispered as he steadily approached the man’s side, investing in everything he could, or couldn’t, see in the atmosphere above them, as a faint smile curled either corners of his lips. “but not enough people that stop and recognize it…” Although Ventus may have breached the man’s comfort zone, he felt that they shared something in common, a sensation that filled the nooks and crannies of their beings, forcing them to not only cherish the building of a still, but to recognize it when it happened to occur. It was a rare occurrence, indeed, but the sensation sometimes comes during the most abrupt of moments, moments like meeting someone under the same sky.

He's sitting, outside looking up at the fading twilight. To be honest, things have been kinda quiet since Sora had gone back to that island, the last him and Leon had heard at least was that they were back home at last. None the less it's weird, being here and everything being so calm. The heartless not even around it seems anymore.
It's too quiet, if you ask him.
                                                      Much too quiet.
