I've mentioned here and there that a beloved character is coming and HERE SHE IS! Mrs Hudson!!!! Wooh! It really presented so wonderfully I would have never forgiven myself if I hadn't done so. In the fic though, Her maiden name is Martha Hudson, but she gets married to Richard Nixon, and so she is Mrs Nixon, nor Mrs Hudson. And her son name is Hudson Nixon (which is really why I wanted to clarify. And yes. This is the Hudson Mycroft called in Chapter two!!)

You guys were not getting her this early originally. She would have come towards the ending, but then. Well, why not, you know. She was already there (Hudson's Mum, ofc)

Also. This chapter is 2k!!! Long and EARLY for you!!!!!

Okay I sorry for leaving you hanging @identitycroissant-tm but I needed to deal with my spagetti and sauce and also figure out exactly what I want bc my idea consisted of "space travel and crazy animals on a new planet lol"

Uhh. For one (idk if that counts with astrophysics or not) I need to know the very minimum amount of training you need before being allowed to go out into space, bc the base of the fic is that these people with little to no experience are being sent out to find out if there is another place they can go to before vanity ends along with the earth. John is supposed to have some sort of space rocket dealing knowledge from his army position, I don't really know if you can make something for that too?

Next I am thinking that scientist/astrophysicists or someone of the like might notice a second black hole coming closer to the milky way galaxy/ our black hole, which is why they are so afraid of combusting and all— is that a sort of.. idk, rational fear? I did a shallow swim around the topics of black hole here and there and recall something about each galaxy having their own black hole and that is more or less the base of gravity or something like that and that if two black holes were to collide the galaxy/ies in question would fall in because they have that strong of a gravitational force but I'm not sure and Idk where to even start with figuring this out.

Also. How might traveling at the speed of light work? What would happen to the humans who potentially do it, and the supplies, how might we have something that could potentially sustain it? I remember there being this material (though I can't for my life remember it's name) that could sort of self heal. Like if a tear appeared in it it fixed itself up a bit later, and I'm planning to use that for something. But I can't think of anything else. In my mind, if there was travel at the speed of light, John and crew would be vetoed to wards the end of the milky way galaxy and then beyond it, but after that point it would weaken or lessen or something?

I don't even know if travelling at the speed of light will be enough. I remember something about it not being fast enough to escape light so maybe when they come cross beyond the milky way, they stop travelling at the speed of light bc it starts getting absorbed between the two black holes, and then the rocket starts failing the unconscious beings inside it cant do anything until its too late and thats why they end up crashing??? Or something close to that?? Does that make sense? Is it potentially possible?

And how might a rocket survive. Well. Space for so long. Like. Away from the milky way. What even would be the view? Other galaxies from a far?? Lots of black bc the galaxies are that far apart? Could it go somewhere? Like it's a big void so like. No oxygen or anything? Do they just keep getting pulled between galaxies? Do they just. Float until they fall into one? Will there still be astroids or anything? Could they possible have enough oxygen to survive the void?

What would it look like falling into a galaxy? And leaving one? What might happen if they fall into a black hole (like a lot of stuff online about it I know isn't really true so) and another one collides into it? Do they just. Turn to nothing along with the galaxy/ies in question? Could you potentially even survive falling into another galaxy (maybe this is the wrong question to ask bc that sort of needs to happen).

And uhh. How much oxygen could you potentially get in space once your space ship starts breaking apart? I think by the time they reach the speed of light, they would have already fallen unconscious, and that the only reason they didn't die was because the rocket was somehow made resistant to incinerating (how????) and they had enough oxygen.

And I want to say something like bc they are moving at that speed, they don't need rocket fuel until after the speed of light has left and then it automatically starts (is that possible)

And what injuries will they definitely have after such a journey? I'm already expecting concussions and a broken rib or two and hurt limbs. But. Idk anything specific that has to happen? Like the way astronaut aren't used to gravity and vomit a lot?

And how long would the journey be at a minimum if they do go at the speed of light until just out of the milky way (idk how they even go to the other galaxy yet so..)

Also. Erm. Is it possible for another planet to have Earth's well live making ability without being an exact carbon copy of Earth? The alien planet in question isn't exactly supposed to have the sun and moon the way we do, the gravity is supposed to be a bit weaker, it's supposed to be a pangea-like nation on a planet slightly smaller planet with more ways of getting purer Oxygen than Earth (or more like a lot of the creatures can chemically separate certain compounds to get oxygen when done right), and erm. I remember something about the water being slightly different too but I can't remember what. I think it was supposed to be sweeter? But like. Healthy sweet.

And uhh. Idk if any of that make sense but if you can tell me anything I'd really appreciate it.

I was starting to feel better and then got sick but anyway

Now I'm making Sherlock lose his strongest asset: mind <- during the three years he's dealing with Moriarty's network and said skewed memories are gon make him think Mycroft never really loved him, I'm having him deal Mycroft dying, I'm throwing Mycroft in a loop where Sherlock keeps on dying and it is always Mycroft's fault and he can't save his brother, I'm having Eurus kill Mycroft once Sherlock decides to pull the gun on himself bc there were two options and Sherlock dying was not one of them, I'm having Mary kill Sherlock bc John loves him more than he loves Mary (understandably, she's an assassin and nearly ruined his whole life like thrice), I'm having Magnessum beat the life out of Sherlock when he becomes his slave to free Mycroft who can do nothing, I'm having Moriarty return to torture them some more, I'm having Mycroft lose his memory and everyone gaslight Sherlock into believing it's his fault and Mycroft doesn't even remember that wasn't true, I'm having John die because he was in the right place at the right time for the right reason, I'm having Sherlock fall off a mountain when he's ten, I'm having Sherlock drown AND burn. I'm giving people hypothermia, and turning people into creatures as a mad science experiment, I'm having Mr and Mrs Holmes not care one bit and do things from selling Sherlock to caning him to denailing him to giving his schizophrenia!

And that's. Uh. Half of it, I think.

Also. Don't even ask me what's going on with Flash or House or James Potter. It's... *Shudder*

NEW WIP ALERT

This one either puts Mycroft or Sherlock as stranded for 500 days in the middle of literal nowhere.

I can't decide who. With Mycroft there's extra angst bc he doesn't like legwork and oh my how much he's gonna starve and he's just going to have to hope his brother gets to him before he dies

With Sherlock well the dude doesn't know self care anyway he'll just make everyone obey him and he'll wait for his brother and it's a fun adventure but Oh my skin on bones is going to have a new meaning after this

Oh and I don't know if I wanna save them or not

Also. If Mycroft stranded Sherlock becomes the Govt and essentially goes "Hey I know your job is to make sure the world doesn't collapse but ignore that now you go and try and find Mycroft for me because otherwise I'll collapse the world :>"

The world will be a scary place regardless and Oh my if a body is found instead of a person I don't even know what would happen
