Ok, so. Trollhunters Au where Strickler started dating Barbera when Jim was like… 10. This will mean that Jim had a good 5 years of internalising that he needs to take care of everyone around him, while also giving him 5 years of learning to trust a reliable father figure. A wonderful combination, when he becomes the Trollhunter and immediately goes to his dad about the strange Amulet.

If I ever do a Fanfic about this, it would be a retelling of at least season 1.

Hi, I just wanted to say that I have been a big fan of your comics and stories. Since you are moving on to other projects, could you tell us about what your plans were for your New Hardware fic if you don't plan on continuing it? Like any major events you had planned or how they were going to save Donnie?

I am most likely going to continue writing New Hardware tbh once I feel a little less burnt out, since just for me personally it feels like fic writing doesn't really have that much pressure time wise to constantly be updating. Plus I've been writing New Hardware since before my comics blew up so idk why I'd stop now lol.

Most of the reason I don't feel like keeping up with the blog is that I want to draw other stuff now and I feel most of my followers are here for my rottmnt art/comics which I'll no longer be making, and for other personal feelings regarding the community in general.

So New Hardware details will stay a secret....for now. /silly

Penny and Cinder have an obvious advantage, Penny 'couse her weapons are allways hidden and Cinder 'couse she can make her's on the fly.

Next up Yangs Team (who's theme was Spring ( more spesificly I wanted to give everyone flowers in their hair)

February is right around the corner, which means it’s soon time for Funguary 2025! The drawing event where we draw a bunch of mushroom based characters during the month of February.

when i was reading the book entangled life which is about fungi and the author merlin sheldrake said that once he got his first author copies he was going to dampen the pages and use them to grow oyster mushrooms and yeast and then use the yeast to brew beer and then drink the beer with the mushrooms to complete the cycle of fungal knowledge. i was like really and truly this guy gets it

I love the slow build up in closenless in human connection

I love watching it

I love slowly learning more about you bit by bit. I love the first few moments after the "akward" Phase

Tbh I went through all 4 books (on my second round) with the exact purpose of seeing, whether or not I could adapt it into a comic.

Individuell scene worked fine it’s at the connective tissue that I struggle. Once notice it you can’t unsee how much of mol is told in hindsight for context to another scene, this makes rather hard to adapt. It could be done yes. But you would definitely need to kill some darlings and script it in advance (my least favorite part of the comic process)

But imagining character designs for everyone and what different clothes they would wear in different loops was really fun!

Honestly, MoL would look amazing as a webcomic

Tbh, the facht that I have yet to see an adaptation that explicitly calls Renfield a Herald, when he’s literally heralding the coming of Dracula is ridiculous!

Plus there is I fucking Herald Moth!

So, I thought about a Menevolent Mother of learning AU and I mean the obvious choice is just Zorian possesses Zach. I mean they literally already had parts of their souls fused, you can easily go further.

(Since I believe that like in the original Zorian wakes up first) book one would probably go like this:

Ah wtf I woke up in Zach’s body! Wtf is going on?

WTF is Zach’s norm how am I supposed to act!?!?

Oh Man the month is repeating too…

I really need to learn soul magic my control over this body is crap!

Why don’t I get Zach’s humongous mana reserves

Oh fuck my real body is dead and my family is holding a Funeral (I think is soul was ripped and his OG body just got enough to have the marker imprint on it and then eminently die every restart)

Anyway at a certain point Zorian has mastered all the soul and mind magic enough to just use Zach’s body as a philactery (like a fucking Litch) and mainly uses his own (self possessed) body and his simulacrums to exist. But it’s gonna be an uphill battle to get there
