San Fransico Revolt is a small group looking for fun writers! We’re more character based than we are plot based, though we do focus on an organization named Revolt; a drug/gambling ring in San Francisco. We call ourselves a ‘small group’ because we aren’t expecting all of our members to write with every single person involved. As long as you’re writing with your connections, we’re happy!

San Francisco Revolt primarily holds storylines on www.roleplayer.me If you’re interested in any of these characters but aren’t familiar with the site, I’m more than happy to teach you! It’s super simple, and I’ll help you out with your layout and everything. We also write on AIM, and I wouldn’t be opposed to making a Discord chat for those that want one.

If you’re interested in any of the characters listed below the cut, send this page a message letting me know. Bonus points if you’ve already written in a sample from their POV - minimum of 300 words, please. We are Multi-Para/Novella roleplayers, so please be capable of 500+ words.

Here are four of our most wanted characters! Three of the four face claims are NON-NEGOTIABLE, but we have more characters outside of these for that have negotiable faces. Here’s some info!

ANNA BARTLET Face: Taylor Schilling Age: 26 Occupation: Student of Law Connections: Naomi Vandel, Maria Valor, Aviva Rae Info: Anna was born and raised in Boston before getting accepted to USF School of Law. Her view of the world is a bit skewed; she’s still confused about the line between right and wrong, but she’s very determined to learn. Anna doesn’t like the idea of doing the wrong things in life, but she can’t really see the point in following every rule right down to the last word either. When she gets an internship with a law firm involved in the investigation of Revolt, she’s ecstatic. When she meets Naomi Vandel, who is an International Drug Pusher for Revolt, she’s confused and upset by the challenge she’s suddenly presented. Even if they never do end up anything more, they’re still friends. She’s too loyal to even consider selling her own friend out for prison. NAOMI VANDEL Face: Laura Prepon Age: 29 Occupation: International Drug Pusher Connections: Anna Bartlet, Maria Valor, Alma Lavez Info: Naomi started working for Revolt at 25, and she’s the best drug pusher in the business. She’s often traveling to different countries for sales and moving heavy amounts of heroin. This makes her a master at disguising her identity and living double lives. She’s bisexual and has been in three relationships since starting with Revolt, all three resulting in the murder of her significant others by Spanish cartels. When she meets Anna Bartlet, she’s initially resistant due to believing she’s not meant to have long-term relationships, and because Anna is a law student. She does a lot of exchange between Revolt and Cartel De Guerra in Mexico, and despite the danger, she’s in love with her job and has no intention of finding anything else to do with her life.  [Lots of Creative Freedom - feel free to fill in the blanks!]

ALMA LAVEZ Face: Kate Mulgrew Age: 54 Occupation: Onsite Operations Manager (Revolt), Mafia ties Connections: Maria Valor, Giacomo Lavez, Vivara Garroway, Imogene Montgomery, Naomi Vandel (Please pick AT LEAST two if you can’t write with all) Info:  Alma is Russian born and a real firecracker. Her views on Russian politics growing up constantly got her into trouble, especially with the law. She didn’t get out of Russia until she was twenty-seven, however. She met and held a relationship for a year with Giacomo Lavez before marrying him, in turn earning a one-way ticket right the hell out of Russia. When Giacomo’s business goes under, she’s the first to offer assistance in any way she can and doesn’t complain once about his choice to run Revolt. In fact, she’s the second owner, running the business on site while Giacomo takes care of behind the scenes work. While she and Giacomo have a daughter of their own, Alma unofficially adopts Maria Valor once the woman joins the ring, and is frequently looking out for the younger female. She’s not at all a fan of Imogene Montgomery, especially when Maria starts dating her, and she saves Viviara Garroway from suicide twice. While she isn’t mothering and sweet to everyone, she does take care of her workers, and those she cares about are well looked after.  [Lots of Creative Freedom - feel free to fill in the blanks!]

GIACOMO LAVEZ Face: Hugh Jackman (NEGOTIABLE) Age: Negotiable (At LEAST 48) Occupation: Head Bookman/Owner (Revolt) Connections: Alma Lavez, Riva Lavez, Vivara Garroway, Maria Valor Info: Giacomo has been running Revolt, a drug and gambling ring in San Francisco, for five years along with his wife, Alma Lavez. He spent five years in his twenties in Russia working with different Mafia sectors and married Alma to assist her in moving to America (after a full year of dating), and has remained married to her ever since (28 years). His decision to start Revolt came after a financial struggle that caused his casino to collapse, forcing him to take out a large loan and invest illegally, paying it back with the money earned from the ring. He’s now invested in quite a few other illegal activities, including trafficking and slave trade.  [Lots of Creative Freedom - feel free to fill in the blanks!]
