Flat Zone, more like Cat Zone! My new cover, "WATCHing the Zone", is out now on Vinya Radio!

In addition to a recap of everything that's gone on over the past month, Venom SST and Flat Zone have new updates! Venom SST has some new properties to make them feel a bit nicer to play, and was given CPU AI, and Flat Zone has not just a bugfix, not just a song expansion, but also the first (admittedly quite experimental) of the new personal covers I'm doing for Rivals Workshop once again!!

Now that the Mario jam is wrapped up, I'm proud to show off all the custom assets that I sprited while working on Funky Kong's homestage, Homecoming Hijinx! There's of course the rotating bananas and a recreation of the classic VFX, the barrel itself (animated through code), the multicolored balloons, and several particle sprites! Believe it or not, the barrel and ice particles are actually 10 individual sprites that are drawn as projectiles!

There are also the platforms, but those animations were heavily based on co-stage developer Ghostabo's environment sprites, so you'll have to check out the stage for that one!
