…Pure Vanilla Cookie walked through the Dark Cacao Kingdom’s halls, looking at the images set on the wall. It was quite different from his kingdom, and it had been many days since he has last stepped foot in the Cacao kingdom. Warriors would see Pure Vanilla Cookie, bowing at his arrival.

“Haha, no need to bow.” He said to one of the warriors.

“Your Majesty, Pure Vanilla Cookie. His majesty has been waiting for you to come! He requested you two meet in his chamber.”

Pure Vanilla Cookie nodded, continuing on his way to meet Dark Cacao Cookie.

It had been a few good minutes, but he had finally reached Dark Cacao Cookie’s chamber. He slowly knocked on the door, it soon being answered.

“Hm, Pure Vanilla Cookie…you finally arrived.”

“Hah, greetings Dark Cacao Cookie! How have you been in this…rough season?”

“I’d say…decent, but well. My warriors and I are stronger than ever.”

“I see! I’m glad! I heard about what had happened with you and…one of the beasts. You became the Dragon Lord, correct?”

“Indeed…I still need to learn how to control my newfound powers a bit more, but the Dragons are now by my side.”

Pure Vanilla chuckled, sitting down next to a fireplace.

“How has Dark Choco Cookie been?”

“….I haven’t heard of him for quite some time.”

Dark Cacao looked at the nearby Chocolate Shoots.

“But…I have a gut feeling he is doing well.” He had a little smile on his face as he spoke that out.

“That is good. …Would you like to sit by me?”

Dark Cacao had a slight blush on his face, but sat down next to Pure Vanilla Cookie.

Eventually, many hours passed as they talked about their kingdoms and residents. (Not to mention the stinky Beasts…)

Though, the two had paused, looking at the falling snow out of the chambers window.

Dark Cacao slightly hesitated, but left a small peck on Pure Vanilla’s cheek, which, yes, caused him to blush and laugh sheepishly.

Hopefully their relationship will never end,

Just like, the never ending snowfall, in the Dark Cacao Kingdom.

My new au, which I named 'Whole Once More'. Because the soul jams became whole again after the ancients took back their other halves from the beasts-

Currently GC and PV are the only ancients I finished, the rest will come out soon.

While Golden Cheese stay mostly the same, still having her loudmouth and teasing personality. Pure Vanilla had quite the change. PV is still kind-hearted, but mostly maintains a serious and cold expression most of the time.

Pure Vanilla now holds a lily scent, mostly from the lilies he has on his flower crown and staff.

Golden Cheese would brag about how she was the first to defeat a beast, sometimes annoying Dark Cacao.

Due to both Golden Cheese and Pure Vanilla being the only current ancients who had their soul jams whole, they're more closer since they can talk about the battle they went through against both BS and SM.

Pure Vanilla decided to let his hair down, since the hair bands broke when trying to keep his hair up.

Golden Cheese is still not ready to talk about her kingdom, even after gaining her other half of her soul jam.

Pure Vanilla is thinking of bringing back the Blueberry Yogurt Academy.

Pure Vanilla can detect lies from the truth, though he sometimes wishes he doesn't have that ability.

….Time. Time was taken by staring at the ever gleaming moon. The fairy wanted to see it and touch more than ever. …But was that ever going to happen? Those were the thoughts rushing through Sea Fairy’s head…

“Fairy.”

A loud voice thundered in the sky. Was it the dragon themselves..?

“…Ah..It’s you. I thought you were…busy.” The fairy said quietly, hesitantly staring at them.

“Busy? If busy counts as bringing back the age of dragons, then…yes. I was.”

“…Was?”

“Indeed. I am just taking a very short break.” The dragon spoke slightly cold.

“Hm…I see. ….Don’t you feel any regret for the cookies, though?”

“………….”

The silence was uncomfortably loud.

“I’m…guessing not.”

The dragon floated down slowly, just enough to reach Sea Fairy’s height.

“…The moon…” She looked at it. Her eyes slowly fading away the hope she once had. She stared at the dragon.

“…I will never be able to reach it…will I..?”

As Longan Dragon stared at the moon with Sea Fairy, they felt water dripping on their hands.

…Sea Tears. She was crying….great. Longan Dragon wasn’t used to or willing to comfort people, that’s for sure. But they had to at least try, right?

“…Fairy. All things may seem inevitable to you….but you are the sea itself, aren’t you? Countless mere mortals depend on your power. If you have that much will as the mortals, then maybe you will greet the moon once more, hm?”

Sea Fairy began blushing. She wasn’t used to the comfort (And the blushing) as well. She began forming a small smile, having regained new hope.

“I see…Thank you, dragon. I will try soon.”

“…” The dragon said nothing, a moment of silence passed. They eventually began to leave the sea.

But the dragon gave a small peck on Sea Fairy’s cheek. And of course she was now a flushed up mess.

They said nothing to each other in the process that the dragon left. Just mere silence. Maybe…she could reach the moon. Maybe not just yet…but maybe with time. She will reach her goal, she was sure of it.
