i got some really sweet comments from people on this painting (thank you!!) SO this post is dedicated to you!!! and below I'm gonna go somewhat in-depth on how I made it and what it means :)

So I had an idea of Hollow giving a warning or sign that they were 'awake' and NOT empty like the pale king had intended.

BUT then I realised that is LITERALLY what hk is about (technically) so... I decided what if it was a REVERSIBLE action showing their independence?? So I was brainstorming what it could be and I thought, Flowers! They eventually grow back meaning it's reversible and if placed in a vase it becomes its own separate object/ decoration. Furthermore, I wanted Hollow to be hiding the flower, while it does show they're alive and have a mind. I think the burden of coming all this way, being prepared and trained to seal the radiance and then going "hey actually guys" would ruin them (and hallownest). But what's ghost doing there? - Dream nail (since hollow does have a mind we should allow them to dream methinks ^^) I might make this into a series of paintings since 'reflective' comes after this (storywise) so here's something I'm cooking up!!!

fun fact i did the painting 95% on one layer and I diiiiid use blender to help with the perspective.....,,. the painting did kinda flop on twt so i miiiight repost it BUT we keep goin' n making art!!!!
