( I kept calling them ready salted for a minute 😭)

this is lightly salted, a slugpup i found crawling around 5p in a spearmaster run that i became way too attached to 😭 i love them and now they are part of my oc lore, theyre adoptive mother is sun's messenger, that vulture

they are also very aggressive, they are my personal bodyguard

I hate downpour fp we lost so much. dude. hunter was ALREADY the start of his arc and I feel like not seeing the end of it made it feel all the more real. rivulet is kind of shit. FP did not need to do self sacrifice like that. it does nothing for him other than create the illusion of development. he doesn't even properly apologize to moon in downpour and constantly just focuses on himself WHY IS HE LIKE THI

I recently made up some new lore for arti in my au and wanted to draw something with it. Basically, I gave her rot rabies

drawing this also made me realise that every one of my iterators are gay in some way, not surprising considering I have a literal 'gay iterators ' poster I made hanging up in my room

replacement for spearmaster in my au because I does not make sense for suns to send a rat over such a large distance, they're also sentient, I'm trying to figure out how but I'm not entirely sure on the answer yet

sorry for the long response time I've been dying irl, BUT

my main au orginally was really just a massive fix it au, the main difference being pebbles doesn't get the rot and moon doesn't collapse, it's also where my oc lore takes place

getting oc lore out of the way, it's long so I'll summarise,

an iterator by the name of thirteen silver windchimes makes an iterator virus as she is one of the ' death is the solution ' iterators ' she tests it on one iterator killing them and sending their pet rat with no survival skills to go pester another iterator, tsw then infects herself with the virus, traumatising her friend and making them send two slugcats to save them ( or if they gotta use the backup plan then destroy her broadcast systems to stop the spread of the virus ), news flash it didn't work BUT the backup plan did work so no more iterator death! anyway back to the pet rat, they find 5p just while they started to become emo and somehow managed to stop 5p from going further into the ' breaking the taboo ' plan and in doing so, stops the rot. saving both pebbles and moon just by being a nuisance.

the yap session bit done, some other small things is downpour stuff, I'm not really a fan of downpour writing but it was too late to remove dp from my au when i wanted to, so it's just different in my au

most dp slugcats just don't exist/don't interact with the story, arti is less genocidal and spearmaster is replaced with a funny vulture oc, because it makes sense over such a large distance, the rest don't matter 😭 rivulet does live in moon's underground water pump systems tho as a little olm looking thing.

also, yes, I'm too lazy to reread over this, so yes, there are probably grammar mistakes

I recently thought how the watcher is themed around trauma in youth, and wondered why a topic like that be picked, when I realised maybe rainworld itself could just a game themed around trauma, how ascending could be a metaphor for letting go of your trauma, and that the rot is a metaphor for your trauma beginning to overtake you entirely, that's why the rot feasts on deteriorating brain activity

recently I've had three ocs living inside my head

a vulture and two lizards that somehow ( I haven't figured out how yet, ) became sentient

the vulture follows one of my slugcat ocs called the befriender, while the two lizards live on their own, the red Liz taking care of the small blue lizard pup

apologies for the lack of art for the lizards, I'll promise you'll most likely see more of these guys at some point ( also my lack of posting will probably continue for a little while )
