VOYDZ_WORLD 2022

It's been a long time since I got real committed to a project. This year has been a rough one and ive been outside touching a lot of grass...smoking it too. During my first years of NFTz I truly fell deep into the rabbit hole, in that time (while I did find myself fulfilling this artistic dream) I also found myself seeing friendz less and watching relationships fall apart. So if you reading this and your a crypto artist or hell just a working artist completely consumed by ur work. Take breaks, go outside, hang with friends, get drunk, play music, go see music, get into mischief. Go out and be alive in this world before it goes mad max y'know.

That being said, I moved back in with my Ma to get grounding. Im back in my old city, and Im starting to feel a bit of a balance between the two. Since October I've been working on this project I'm calling Voydz World! The art is done and the tokens are made and GOD DAMN has it been hard to not leak anything or just mint out one after another, nope. Im going long game dopamine on these ones. Its currently 10 till 2am and Im putting in the finishing touches on the voxel gallery and got dam I tell u wat bruv...IM SO EXCITED FOR EVERYONE TO SEE THIS COLLECTION! 11/22/22

G.U.O.L. 2021

These lil boogers were a very fun and welcome challenge to create, so long story short I had seen those halloween challenges before and wanted to test myself and do one! Boom the G.U.O.L. was created, stood for GIVE UP ON LIFERZ! I had just finished watching Berserk 97 for the first time, while watching it I really took a notice to the different helmets soldiers would wear in the anime. That sparked the idea to on what was mostly unique about each G.U.O.L. and then also threw in one of my logos every now and again then boom shaka laka! I had a consistent theme I could run with. Sadly I only made it to 28 xD

I was going to NFT NYC around Halloweenish of 2021, I landed in NYC around midnight ish and friends picked me up and took me to there spot in Brooklyn. Once I got there we went to a rave with mandatory BDSM gear, molly ketamine and a sun rise later...yeah I didnt get around to doing the last couple xD. Well anyhow hope you enjoyed the sweet guolz!!!

OMG FIRST OFF THESE LOOK GREAT ON TUMBLR!!! Second off this is my first drop in a long time, this year has been a confusing wild like icarus type beat. I flew to close to the sun my wings melted and I fell off, on a personal level I went through a breakup of a three year relationship with someone whomst I truly loved. We're still friends but our lifes just started to move in other directions, the other part was I spent so much time tapped into the matrix that I had neglected the people who were around me in my real life. This year has been a stepping stone to finding that balance between work and play. TBH tho its been a year of a lot of play lol. I made these toons a few months back in between my days of madness, was playing a lot of Fallout New Vegas n Dungeons n Dragons. Also was listening to a lot of William Gibson audiobooks and diving heavy into cyberpunk, had me inspired by all those elements and I wanted to create a series of portraits that look like they could be used on a character sheet or some old cRPG. With the purchase of the NFT I will also send the peep whomst bought it a basic character sheet to fill out and give some life to the toons they purchased. Mostly just experimenting and having fun, trying to expand beyond just the normal ole heres ur JPEG type deal.

Assorted Goods from 2021

Okay this prolly my last blog post for the day, but this rules kinda feels like i really get to just talk at someone with all this stuff ive sat on for like a year. The first few months of screensaver.world were absolute bliss and maybe the closest ive ever felt to like a "peak" in my life. Mfer was on cloud nine just doing whatever the hell them want, had an idea I would just wake up and put that shit into the computer. Explosions of color was such a contrast to the style I had presented before that, like most of what I did before this was line drawings and like some album covers here n there. Never before had I my art felt so alive, I was addicted to the process and basically just caught up in a feedback loop. It was truly incredible, this peep name Jacob was the sole developer of screensaver.world and it was his hard work that brought together so many artist from around the world. It felt like i was in college or some shit (i mean ive only been for like a quarter and will prolly no go back) but we would host the live auctions over clubhouse and discord. Bruv. It was so sick you got like five minutes on the stage, you'd spend like three of those minutes talking about the piece and wat you were trying to achieve with it. Then the next two minutes the bids would flood in, my heart would be pumping so hard with adrenaline during the auctions xD. Like bro wats this piece gonna sell for !? I love this!!!!! Sadly with time things fell apart and people went onto to do more projects n etc. The site is still up tho, just waiting to be necro'd. In fact im about to drop something new on 11/7/22 be my first set of things since like maybe march of this year. Vrazy yo.
