For the first of many big reveals to come… Coming soon to my etsy store…
Pocket Wands!
Portable, discreet, and affordable, these five pocket wands are all individual and unique. They have different energies to them which I’ll explain when I launch each listing.
Each wand is one rose quartz and a piece of 10cm rosewood, making each wand approximately 12cm. It’s like holding a pen.
These are perfect to be used to help draw and manipulate energies around you, to help trace energies during meditation, or to use as a guide when picking tarot cards in a reading! You could also, much like with a crystal wand, charge tools with it.
There’s only the five you see here so far, and once I’ve officially calculated the weight of the parcel (rough estimate right now), you’ll be seeing these loaded onto my etsy!
P.S More to come, with different crystals and wood also. 😉😘💕

my boyfriend asked what I was witching up in the kitchen and I explained that its a balm for sunburns. I’m putting a bunch of herbs in oil, and I’ll leave it on the window ledge so the sun will heat it enough to extract everything I need to make it into a healing balm
he stood there for a long moment and then said “so. you’re stealing the sun’s power to heal yourself from the sun’s harm?”
and I hadn’t thought about it quite like that before, but shit, I do now

Ritual to remember past lives
This can be used to remember your past kin life or perhaps to remember past friends! this is a VERY commonly used one, if you’d like a different one feel free to message me!
What You’ll Need
a white candle
a glass filled with water and flower petals
a mirror
Place the mirror inside the bowl. Light the candle and place it and the bowl beside your bed. When you are in your meditative state, surrounded by light. Imagine a television. The television should give you the sense of being in front of your physical body, and NOT in your head. If you see the television in your minds eye then you are not doing this technique correctly.
See your life going back, yesterday, last year, your childhood, your birth, the safety of your mothers wombs, go back further. Don’t think “Oh whats before that?” It should come to you naturally, you may be transported to a memory anytime throughout you past life, it may be a mundane moment, it may be something exciting, it may be you sleeping!
If you find yourself implanting details or trying to FILL in the blank (there probably will be some missing details the first time around) STOP and try again. You may want to listen to a past life regression hypnosis or meditation if you find it to difficult to do on your own.
Hope this helps some of you!

Spell Loopholes
Wording a spell correctly is extremely important! We’ve all heard the stories of someone who cast a spell and technically had it come true, but in a way that wasn’t what they actually wanted at all! Here’s a list of common “loopholes” spells will take to get the job done, and how to make sure you get what you want!
🕯Taking its time- “I want money,” you tell the Universe, hoping to get some help with rent. Well, rent comes and there’s no extra cash in sight! Then, two weeks later, a surprise wad of cash all but lands in your lap. The spell came true, but not in time for when it mattered. This is easily fixed by adding “…by the end of the month,” or specifying what the money is for, which in this case was this month’s rent.
🕯No help needed- “I want money,” you say again. Magic will often take the path of least resistance, so if you’ve already got a paycheck on the way, the spell might not do much besides make sure it doesn’t get lost. There. Money. It can be good to specify that you want your spell to work in addition to everything you’re already doing!
🕯 Bare minimum- This time from your money spell, it arrives on time from an unexpected source! But it’s a quarter you found on the ground. Maybe three quarters. Not much help! If your intent would require the money to be close to a certain amount or any other specific like that, let it be known! The universe isn’t there to make assumptions.
🕯 For the worst- Let’s say you have two friends that have been flirting, so you cast a nice little spell to let any mutual interest between them blossom into a relationship and save them some trouble. It happens, but it turns out they do NOT work well with each other. They are interested in each other, but argue constantly and bring out the worst in each other. The relationship is hurting them both. You had the absolute best of intentions, but there was no way of knowing that would happen! This is why a lot of witches include the phrase, “for the highest good” in their spells, as a failsafe for any unexpected pitfalls like this that may be lurking. The universe will see them but doesn’t know to care unless you specify.
🕯Another layer- Once I made a dream bear to bring me more dreams. Well, I had lots more dreams, but couldn’t remember any of them! I didn’t think that was something I needed to specify. Make sure you hit every point you need to be satisfied with a result.
As a general rule, if my spell includes a prayer or petition of any sort, I take a few minutes and comb through it for stuff like this beforehand. What am I specifying? What am I leaving up to interpretation? Could any of that manifest in a way I would be unhappy with? Take a little time before you start casting to smooth out all those wrinkles! Best of wishes!

Energy Manipulation Guide: Sensing Energy
Hello lovely followers! Recently I’ve gotten an influx of questions about energy manipulation and decided to get around and do a manual about it. Disclaimer, these are all based on my experiences!
What is energy manipulation and why is it so important:
Energy manipulation is just what it sounds like. The manipulation of energy both in you and around you. It’s important because it is a fundamental key in the practice of magic. At its core, magic is energy. It becomes magic when it is manipulated by the castor, witch, or practitioners to do their bidding.
The first part in this guide will deal with sensing energy. We won’t necessarily be manipulating it today. Sensing energy is perhaps the first step of actually working with energy, as you must sense it to be able to manipulate it. Here, i’ll be going through several different techniques.
First and foremost, I want to go through a general technique that can be used for both meditations and centering yourself.
Deep Breathing:
This is simply a technique that combines both meditation and moving the energy around in your body. In my experience, I am drawing from both energy from the universe, and bringing it into my body, while also expelling negative energy within me.
This is a simple way to get your energies moving while also cleansing yourself of negative energy.
You will need to either sit up or lay down. let your palms lay upward, and close your eyes.
Now, all you have to do is breathe. As you inhale deeply, envision pure, golden light from the universe coming into your body. This is pure, cleansing energy, Energy that will help and cleanse you. Feel it going in through your nose, down your throat and into your lungs. Feel the warmth.
On your exhale, envision dark energy leaving your body. This is negative energy, the energy that is weighing you down. These are your anxieties, stresses, and insecurities. Give them to the universe, and let the universe cleanse you.
Focus on breathing in the energy, and breathing it out. Focus on your breathing. Occasionally you’ll have other thoughts, but that’s fine. Just gradually return to your breathing.
The Hand Technique:
This technique will be good for those of us who are good at visualization. For beginners, i recommend you get into your deep breathing state. You don’t have to be in a deep meditative state, simply calm your mind, and prepare to focus on something.
Step one: Sit down. If you have back trouble, then you can also do this laying down. All it requires is that your palms are upright.
Step two: Hold your hand out forward, palm facing upward. If you have trouble supporting your arm for long periods of time like i do, simply let your elbow rest on your knee, the arm of your chair, etc. Allow your arm to be supported.
Step three: Look at your arm. Really look at it. Find a focal point that you’ll allow your energy can stem from. When you find this place, I want you to imagine a stream of energy flowing from this focal point into your palm. Envision it like water dripping down your arms, and pooling into your palm. After a while of doing this, you should either feel tingling, pressure, or warmth. Keep in mind, these are things that I felt, but usually, you can take any abnormal situation as a sign of energy being felt and moved.
The Crystal Technique:
This technique is especially good for those of us who have trouble visualizing things. You will be using aid in order to do this technique, and while I suggest a gemstone, any living thing will suffice.
Find a gemstone of your choice. My go-to for high energy is typically smoky quartz and amethyst. After you have centered yourself (use the deep breathing technique), place the gemstone in your palm, and begin applying the deep breathing technique again. In this instance, you won’t have to visualize, just breath and feel the crystal in your hand. Be aware of its presence. For some, you will begin to feel a tingling right away, or a warmth. The gemstone will typically give off its vibrations.
If you’re having trouble feeling this, I would consider rubbing your hands together. This sounds funny, but it will get the energy in your hands working.
*Typically, when I do this, I envision a swirl underneath the gemstone, like a whirlpool, and allow my energy to interact with the gemstones energy.
*make sure the gemstone is cleansed, especially if it is clear quartz. I’ve done this technique before with one that wasn’t, and my arm was in pain for an hour.
And that’s the basics of sensing energy, or how it was for me! Please share this around, and feel free to ask any questions if you have them. Next time I’ll be posting ways to actually manipulate energy.

Making your craft your own
I’ve had a lot of questions over the years about what my craft is, where it gets its power from, and how I set about building it.
Many of you may follow a specific practice but feel like you don’t really resonate with it or at least not all of it. Maybe the community that surrounds your practice isn’t what you were hoping it would be. Maybe you haven’t even found a predefined practice that you like yet. You’ve searched for others but the ones you are most interested in are culturally protected and/or it’s difficult to get ahold of valid information.
If any of those ideas strike a chord with you, I highly recommend starting your own practice. But where do you start? How long will it take? Is it difficult?
Fling the door wide open
To start your own practice, you need to stop practicing completely. Not indefinitely, just for a a little while. I don’t mean stop your religious practices. I’m more so referring to spell work, Sigil work, spirit work, divination. All non-dirty related practices. All witchcraft.
Take as much time as you can manage to be isolated and quiet. Set aside desractions, forgo Tumblr for a while. Just sit and think about what it is you really want out of witchcraft. Why do you practice? Whatever environment and/or tools you require to come to a solid concusion, use it.
Once you’ve figured out why you practice, think about how you can make that reason the corner stone of your practice. What type of witchcraft fits over that reason the snuggest? Does divination? Spirit work? Maybe astral travel or a psychic ability? Whatever it is, latch on to it.
Breaking the chains of what doesn’t serves you
This segment is for those who are leaving a set practice in order to pursue creating their own.
Now that you’ve figured out what you’re practicing for and what aspects of witchcraft best serve that purpose, it’s time to set aside the practice you started with. Take all the books, notes, grimoires, tools, etc related to that practice and set them aside. Even if a lot of the practice fits really well with your realizationsand decisions about your own practice. Set it aside. Put it all in an out of the way, but respectful place.
Get a fresh notebook and a writing ustensil.
Brick by brick
You can’t build a well crafted stone house in a day. It may have only taken you a short little while to figure out why you practice and what you want to focus on, but building your own craft will take your entire life. It will never be done. You may reach a plateau, but after some time it will demand changes and then the building starts all over.
If you don’t already have a notebook/app/any other media to record your thoughts out, you’re doing it wrong. WRITE DOWN EVERYTHING. Every little idea. I have a mountain of scrap peices of paper floating through both of my grimoires with little notes scribbled on them.
At first it’s VERY important that you strive to be free from outside influences when it comes to your craft.
Start by creating your own correspondences for the tools, substances, herbs, colors, etc that you resonate with the most. Experiment with them in small little spells and enchantments. Find out what works best to serve you and underline it.
Try to create your own system for doing things. I’ve created three methods for sigilcraft and five different methods for reiki and complex energy works. Reality follows certain rules and so should your craft. But they should be your rules. Make a set of rules for your sigils to follow. Maybe the shapes you use each have a different meaning or the colors used, or different angles and curves. Whatever your rules are- as long as you have them, your sigils will have a sense of continuity. Maybe you’ve thought about making a new alphabet for your new Grimoire. DOPE. Make some rules. Follow them. If you want a really smooth feeling/looking craft- try to apply the same set of design/correspondence rules to everything. Never stop improving. Never stop growing. Never stop learning. Never stop experimenting.
Playing well with others
Now that your craft is starting to have its own shape and it’s starting to breathe on its own, it’s time to get back out your old books and grimoires, if you have them. Read through them very carefully and find what still serves you. Set aside the rest. It may come in handy one day.
Now we get to the scariest part of creating your own craft: Cultural appropriation. How do you avoid it? How can you be certain you haven’t stolen ideas from closed cultures? Two things.
“Inspiration from” and “stealing from” are easily confused from a distance. It is okay to get inspiration from the processes found in closed cultures. It is not okay to use prayers, deities, symbols, and specific practices, etc.
Reach out. Make friends with practioners from as many traditions as possible. Talk with them about their traditions and tell them about your practice. Be honest and open. Having an open line to practioners of a closed culture is VERY helpful. Run things past them to make sure you’re not stepping on any toes. Talk to them for inspiration. Let them call you out for fucking up. It happens.
Winds of change
The first year will be so exciting and new and everything will feel so good because you’re finally expressing that part of yourself you couldn’t find anywhere else. When that initial euphoria wears off, you’ll feel completely stagnate.
Tough it out, bud. It’s worth it. One day, a tiny little idea will pop into your head and it will snowball into the first of many major evolutions of your craft. Let it happen. Change is good. Making your own practice is a lifestyle. One that will always be changing. It may takes years but it will happen. Try to build your practice so that it has room to not only grow, but to change as well, even if your cornerstone changes. Don’t be afraid of change in your craft. Ever. Embrace it. Love it. Cherish it.
If you have any questions or just feel like sharing your craft, please feel free to dive into my inbox or ask box. I am also starting a Discord server just for those “eclectic” witches who have created or are creating their own practice. If you’d like to join, please send me a message. Please specify that you’d like to join the unique craft Discord. (I am currently running five different discord servers) ♥️
I hope this was helpful

🌊 Lapis Water Binding 🌊
inspired by steven universe, a spell to bind and banish those to a place they cannot travel from
“I’m done being everyone’s prisoner! Now you’re MY prisoner! And I’m never letting you go! Let’s stay on this miserable planet, together!”
🌊 gather: lapis lazuli, sea salt, water, a rock or something heavy, as an anchor, two taglocks, black thread
🌊 create one taglock for the person/thing you are binding
🌊 create the other taglock, for the part of yourself that has been affected by the person/thing. this is to bind the affect-or and the affected area away together.
🌊 mix the sea salt and the water
🌊 bind the taglocks and the anchor with black thread
🌊 drown the bound objects, chant the above quote if you like.
🌊 you can put the lapis lazuli in the water during this enchantment, but know it is a water-soluble stone. alternatively, you could just hold it over the bowl for the spell
(note, you can replace the lapis lazuli with pumpkin seeds)

New Discord Server!
If you’re not interested in joining, I’d REALLY appreciate a signal boost!
I made a Discord server for the purpose of discussing theories and processes for very advanced magic. I don’t plan on it being very active, because there won’t be a general discussion, venting, or shitposting channel.
I’m looking for practitioners who are regularly thinking of new ways of accomplishing massive magic using complex energy work and even psychic abilities.
The ultimate goal of this server is to indirectly combat:
Climate change
Tyranny
Currency based social structures
Religious Extremism
Generational mental illness
Maybe even alter the past
If interested DM me, @greysorcery, and I will ask you a series of questions on what processes you would use for accomplishing complex magic. If your answers impress me, you will be sent an invite link. Please don’t be upset if you aren’t invited, I mean no disrespect.
I’m only expecting a few practitioners to message me, but the more people who join the faster we may potentially accomplish the halting of the forces that plague our species.

Tasseography: A Very Basic Guide
So much has been said about the reading of tea leaves, or coffee grounds, that is almost seems futile to write even more about it. But because this blog is meant to be used as a complete grimoire and guide, I feel I should mention one of the most well-known methods of divination.
Tasseography’s history is not well-understood. Many Wiccan authors ascribe the practise to the Romani people, but its origin is not well-known. Many European and Middle Eastern people used divinatory methods based on the shapes of spilt or scattered substances, and once tea was introduced to Europe from China, it seemed only natural tea leaves would join the long list of things-that-can-sometimes-look-like-shapes. In the Middle East and Eastern Europe, coffee is more often used in tasseography.
A spoonful of tea leaves, loose, is placed in a white teacup. The querent must then stir the leaves with their finger, focussing on the questions they wish to ask. Boiling water may then be poured into the cup to allow the tea to steep. The querent then allows the leaves to settle and drinks the tea until only the dregs and a spoonful or so of liquid is left at the bottom. Then, the cup is taken up in the left hand and swirled three times clockwise before being quickly turned over onto a white napkin resting atop a saucer. The querent counts to seven and turns the cup aright, whereafter the leaves may be read.
The position of the symbolic shapes left behind in the cup matters. Anyone who reads tea leaves has their own system for interpretation. When I do this, I read the cup outward from the handle on both sides, with the handle pointing toward the querent. Symbols on the right side of the cup may be interpreted as positive, while those on the left may have negative qualities. Stronger messages emanate from symbols closer to the brim of the cup than the base.
Following are a short list of symbols and their meanings, both positive and negative.
Acorn: strength and resilience, or stubbornness
Arrow: surprise news, or a rumour
Bird: good luck, or a friend lost
Boat: a visit, or a debt owed
Butterfly: pleasure, or a short-lived joy
Cat: strengthened friendship and loyalty, or treachery

Crown: honour and success, or great responsibility
Curved line: a journey ahead, or an unexpected setback
Dagger: friends who will come to your aid, or impending danger
Deer: freedom, or a quarrel
Dog: faithful friends, or secret enemies
Fish: a visitor from abroad, or a surprise journey
Flag: loyalty, or people may unite against you
Flower: happiness in relationships, or the death of an acquaintance
Hammer: triumph over adversity, or hard work ahead
Hat: success in the workplace, or a warning that you are ignoring an important truth
Heart: pleasure and happiness, or trouble in relationships
Horseshoe: good luck, or an unexpected visitor who will waste your time
Human figure: visit from a parent, or a fight
Key: success in business, or the return of an ex-lover
Letters: denote the initial of someone close to the querent
Moon: good fortune, or obliviousness
Mountain: powerful friends, or powerful enemies
Mushroom: an epiphany, or a toxic influence
Numbers: should be significant to the querent
Oak leaf: long life in good health, or long life in poor health

Square: comfort, or hardship
Spider: gaining money, or losing money
Triangle: good luck, or a bad reputation

Spirit Initiations and Awakening
When I first began this blog, I never anticipated talking about spirit initiations. It was never something that appealed to me as a witch. As the term implies, spirit initiation is when an entity, whether that is a god or spirit or other unearthly being, enhances and activates the power that exists within every witch. For those who subscribe to Traditional Witchcraft beliefs, this is a necessary starting point in their journey down their personal path. But for other types of witches, spirit initiation is seen as optional or not even considered. Since I myself am not a Traditional Witch, I existed in the latter category for the majority of my time as a witch.
For those who have undergone this form of initiation or awakening, it is often seen as life-changing and rewarding. However, it is also seen as a painful process. Most initiations, whether they are spiritual in nature or secular, include some sort of ordeal. Aspects of the self that no longer serve a person must be left behind, and the individual must be reborn. In the Spiritual Baptist faith, their initiation includes sealing oneself away for several days in an uncomfortable room with little to no food and water to symbolize Death and Rebirth. In Catholicism, a budding Catholic must undergo years of religious education, choose a new name, and undergo Catechism. Whether dramatic or mundane, simple or complex, initiations are intended to recreate a person.
And I was certainly recreated during my initiation.
As I said, the thought of undergoing an initiation felt a bit redundant. After all, I was already a witch and felt that I was fairly decent at it. And while I do worship deities, I don’t often involve them in my Craft. But over time, I couldn’t help but feel this pull towards initiation. It was like there was this desire inside of me: a desire for a deeper, more profound connection to myself, my Craft, my Goddess, and to the world around me. While I had certainly read that spirit initiation is less something you decide to do and more something that you are called to do, I could never have prepared for the experience of it all.
While I won’t go into the details of my initiation under Persephone as the information that I’ve learned is for me and me alone, I can tell you that it was simultaneously the most difficult and the most rewarding spiritual experience that I’ve ever had. In the beginning of it, after the formal “ritual,” it felt like my life was falling apart. Friends left me, electronics malfunctioned, projects that I had been working on for years had failed. I felt completely alone and very nearly fell into a deep despair.
But then I started to see the light at the end of the tunnel. And I was reborn.
The friends that I had lost were never true friends, and my relationship to my friends who stayed with me became stronger. The electronic malfunctions got me to step away from the Internet, a major source of my anxiety, for a period of time so I could truly find myself instead of constructing an identity that was palatable to others. (For example, I never would have written a post like this before my initiation; it would have been far too personal.) And the projects that had failed? They were projects that I had only continued to maintain for the sake of my ego and were actively detrimental to my spiritual health. In short, my life truly did fall apart. But a new, healthier life replaced it. Like a Phoenix, I rose from the ashes.
I wouldn’t label myself as “awakened,” as awakening is a process. I am certainly more “awake” now, but I am also aware that I’m back at the beginning in a lot of ways. This is the start of a new cycle, and I can hardly wait to see what I learn this time around.

the magick of besoms

besoms are a witch’s ritual broom; they are excellent tools for cleansing, blessing and spellcasting. i personally find besoms to be just as useful and integral in my craft as wands, if not more.
in tradition, besoms were made with sacred woods; a shaft of ash, twigs of birch as bristles, and strands of willow to bind it together. ash brings prosperity and protection, birch for cleansing, and willow for lunar goddess magick. of course, different woods have different properties, and based on what you want your besom to embody, you can use any of these woods:
alder for decision making and courage
ash for health and prosperity
cedar for power and strength
hawthorn for fae magick and rebirth
hazel for creativity and knowledge
maple for longevity and luck
oak for truth and protection
there are many ways to use a besom in witchcraft. a common use is to cleanse a ritual area or space before casting spells, by literally sweeping away any residual energies (though the besoms doesn’t have to touch the floor - leave the dust sweeping to the household broom!). similarly, you can cleanse your home by sweeping the energies up and sending them out the front door. if a guest brings negative energy with them for a visit, simply sweep the area in which they resided after they’ve left.
besoms are also protective. simply placing one by your front door is a powerful protective charm of its own. placing it under your bed is one way to prevent nightmares or harmful energies from influencing your dreams.
lastly, besoms are a symbol of unity, marriage and love; traditionally, pagan weddings involve the couple jumping over a besom as a part of the ceremony. for this reason, hanging a besom in your home can strengthen a relationship, bring marital harmony, or draw a powerful love to those without it.
