Tutorial: Icon Making

Step 1: Find an image you like and copy it

Step 2: Paste the image into whatever paint document you have. We’ll use basic Paint for this tutorial. Then, using the select button highlight the area you want as an icon.

Step 3: Reposition the icon to the corner. Then click somewhere else on the picture to save the positioning of the icon.

Step 4: Take the corner of the image and pull it up until you get to your icon, then stop.

Step 5: Resize the icon to whatever value you need it, until it’s at the right size. Not too big and not too small.

Step 6: If you want to watermark the icon with your URL, this is what you do. Choose the text and a place where to put your watermark. Then choose the color, font, and size of the watermark. Type your URL initials. Then the last step is to press save.

Congratulations, now you’ve made your own icon! ^_^ I hope this helps!

//To be honest, I really hate making these. I feel like i’ve already made too many of them. And I just know that i’ll get even more hate for making another one, having so much Anon hate in my ask box and all. But this is about the status of my blogs, so I just thought I should let you all know.

Due to recent events, I will be dropping a number of welcome threads and I will stop making any and all welcome starters indefinitely. If you want to start an RP with me, you’re more than welcome to either send me a message, tag me in a starter, or send me something to my ask. After everything that happened, this is just how it’s going to be from now on. If I decide to drop our thread, I will send you a courtesy message, letting you know that I decided to stop our thread. This is of course, nothing against any of you. But apparently my welcome starters have been the cause of animosity against me. Please understand that when I decided to make them, I didn’t have any malicious intent, I just wanted to RP and I thought that was the perfect way to. I was wrong. People either took them as they were obligated to reply to them or they were obligated to continue them even after they didn’t want to. To clear up the confusion about them: you never have to reply to them, it’s optional not obligatory.

Now, due to recent events, some of you may want to drop our threads and that’s fine. You’re welcome to do so, I would just appreciate it if you sent me a message telling me that you’re dropping the thread. I think it’s the polite thing to do and so that I don’t have to reply to something that’s dropped. I won’t hold anything against you if you decide to do that. Just please don’t be malicious about it.

One last thing that I want to talk about is all the hate that i’ve been getting. As you can see, I haven’t been RPing really or replying to threads. I don’t know where to go from here, seeing all those hate messages just really makes me want to stop RPing and stuff, yeah? I’m clearly upset and after all the crying I did yesterday, I would really just like it if you have/had a problem with me, that you talk to me about it. Not on Anon, of course. I want to civilly talk about whatever problem you have with me, so we can resolve it. All of the “he said/she said” nonsense that i’ve been hearing about is news to me. I don’t know what I did to you to make you hate me so much. I’m not forcing anyone to RP with me or talk to me. Or anything else for that matter. I don’t know what’s going on to be honest, I came back here to have fun. Not get all of this two weeks after I come back. I don’t know what I did to offend you or anyone else, but i’m sorry. I apologize for everything that I apparently did.

Now, if I keep getting a shit ton of hate in my ask boxes, I will be going on permanent hiatus. Before making this PSA, I thought about just disappearing. But after talking to some nice people, I decided against it, for now. But I believe that dropping some threads and welcome starters might reduce the hate and every problem that comes with it?
