Greetings!

Afte talking with some friends last night I decided that my best course of action right now is to do in depth character pages on smaller characters with fewer appearences (along with doing video pages of the videos they appear in)

This will allow me to get characters done and out of the way, will allow me to get a good amount of videos done that I know will be important, will add a structure to create the larger character pages, and will generally let me practice making character pages on characters that don't have hundreds of videos full of information.

The first character I'm planning on doing is Light Zeron, seeing as I happen to already have a playlist containing every video that he appears in.

If you have any other characters you want to see pages be redone with, please tell me in either the notes or an ask. I will add it to the list.

I already think I'm going to do KC as I believe she only appears in 2 videos and she doesn't actually have a wiki page yet unfortunately.

Genuinely though, thank you to everyone who's stuck with me for this long and everyone who has just joined. We are far from done here and having all of your support has helped me so much and motivates me to keep going even when work becomes dull.

Uploading video files is now complete!

Over the past month I've been working on uploading all 1624 VenturianTale Garry's Mod videos to the VT wiki. Included on each file page is a link to the video's page. This will allow me to make a list of all the videos I have yet to do.

My main goal now is to go through videos and complete the easier parts of the pages, and occasionally fully complete a video page. My goal is 10 small video pages a day, and 1 large video page every 2 days.

The large video pages are being chosen based on submissions of videos that people would like to see. So please, don't be shy on recommending videos. I'll also probably be making a few more posts asking for video suggestions.

The only video wiki page request still in queue is the Werewolf mod, so that will be what I focus on over these next couple days.

Other fully completed video wiki pages include: Cardboard Friend Mod, Funny Velociraptor Playermodel, Movie Theater Popcorn Mod, Haunted by Cardboard Friend, and Dragon Flying NPC Mod. So check those pages if you want to know what to expect.

As always, if you have any suggestions on how I may improve these pages, please tell me, or just make those changes yourself if you're up for it.

Correct! Chelse and Booty were reoccurring characters played by Bethany and Isaac respectively. They would often randomly appear. Chelse is portrayed by Pipimi and Booty is portrayed by Popuko.

Strangely, only Chelse has a wiki page and it's a stub, so I don't have much information to give here. After combing through videos, Chelse's first appears in THE WEIRDEST DAUGHTER EVER! - FUNNY Gmod Roleplay (Garry's Mod Pop Team Epic Mod) and Booty's first appears in: Can Pennywise Complete 3 GAMING CHALLENGES?

I think they're fun enough characters but they're not taken super seriously, unfortunately. Though by the nature of the characters, it's easy to not take them seriously. Funnily enough, Chelse appears on her own significantly more than Booty appears on her own, and Booty seems to be the reason why these two are as chaotic as they are, as when Chelse appears by her lonesome, she is a lot more mellow.

It seems most people agree that it would be a draw, though tied for second place is Papa, Spencer, and Billy. I would be curious to inspect this further some day

VenturianTale characters have a tendency of becoming super powerful. I picked 8 VT characters at (semi) random. I'm curious on which you guys think would win in a fight.

If this poll gets some traction I might make a tournament with more characters people would be interested in it. It would be a little easier to parse and could feature a lot more characters.

VT Fun Fact #6

Johnny Ghost canonically has a Tumblr account.

In MURDER IN PRINCESS PEACH'S CASTLE! - Gmod Super Mario Bros. Murder Mystery Mod (Garry's Mod), Johnny Ghost says:

"Oh, there is activity, trust me. There is activity, up on my Tumblr account. I'm getting retweets— on Tumblr, apparently... it doesn't work that way but whatever." (section starts at 4:58)

There isn't a lot that we can glean off of this quote but there is a few things that we may be able to make assumptions about. Firstly, Ghost does use Tumblr. He also seems to have some pride in the recent uptick of notes he's getting. He also gets the terminology wrong but realizes afterwards. We can assess that this might mean that Johnny Ghost has only recently acquired a Tumblr account.

We may also assume based on the topic of conversation, that he posts mainly about things related to Paranormal Activity on his blog, though this is mostly conjecture.

Interestingly, this video was posted right in the middle of Ghost's retirement arc. The wiki interprets this as Johnny Ghost going out and starting his own independent investigator. It's possible that this Tumblr Account was a way to tie into that, though that wouldn't have lasted for very long as after this video, he became fully retired. He also ended up killing a lot of people here as Jimmy Casket, and maybe that also had some influence on him as to why he might stop ghost hunting altogether.

Is Johnny Ghost a tumblrina? It certainly is a fun headcanon, and I could certainly see it being the case. We know that Ghost likely attended high school around the beginning of Tumblr becoming a thing, and I can totally see it appealing to Ghost's sense of style. Who knows? Maybe that's a major factor in how Ghost became so interested in paranormal investigating as a whole. After all, it would be very similar to ghost stories around a campfire.

Anyway I'm rambling. Hope you enjoy this silly fact.

It appears that Sally Acachalla is the favorite Acachalla member.

This actually surprises me a little bit. I knew Spencer had a lot of fans and I know Billy also has a good chunk of people who like him. And I was sure Sue would've climbed up a little bit considering how she was handled.

Though I am very delighted to hear that Sally won! 11 out of 23 people voted for her. I guess she's just that lovable.

In 2016, VenturianTale did a series of videos centered around Animatronics visiting different places suggested by Youtube Comments, usually a store chain.

This isn't unusual for them, as they've done plenty of characters visiting McDonald's, along side other places, but here there was an encouragement to suggest what the next animatronic and place should be.

Yeah, turns out the first of these videos has the most views. I'm honestly pretty surprised by this fact considering Balloon Boy doesn't seem like the most popular character. Personally I thought Golden Freddy at Gamestop had it in the bag.

What we can learn from this:

It's not unknown by VT fans that the channel would milk video successes to all its worth. Anyone who survived through the Thanos' Infinity Gauntlet videos probably know this (hell, even in 2021, their last publicly available uploaded video is a Thanos gauntlet video).

I think the milking of this series can be seen by looking at the releases of the later episodes. Sure, it started with fun comment suggestions, but the last 3 on this list were released significantly after, suggesting that they were made to try and capitilize on the audience that they gained from the first run. Which I suppose did pay off considering Bonnie at Burger King got 1.2 million views.

I do think that this series of videos were, at the end of the day, pretty fun. And a lot of really important lore are in these videos, too! Pretty much all Uncle Ernie related stuff takes place in this series of videos and Chica Visits Pizza Hut is, as far as I know, the only video where Tommy Casket makes an actual appearance.

These videos were always fun to watch on release because they were a lot more creative and always had to have roleplay involved, given the concept of these videos. And after all, that's why so many people love VenturianTale, because of the roleplays

It seems that the majority of people say that they are main characters, though 3 out of the 17 people said that neither were main characters.
