More sprite editing. I wanted to make the baby look less like a fish lol. With a bit of editing to be more on model, to be this could be added to the repo. So I might be doing that.
Here's the original sprite sheet in case you want to swipe between the two and laugh. I am fully convinced it was programmer art. Which is wild, considering it's a story character. Below that is the teenie version of the edited sprites that you can add to your game if you want to use it.
#Pmd#Pokemon#Manaphy#art#pmd eos#explorers of sky#keep in mind that the only sprites I didn't edit are the ones that other artists also added lol. the game only uses like five of these#Portrait sprite editing#anyways credits. you don't need to give credits because nobody's going to see this post anyway. if you do just use these I don't care#I don't know if I've already mentioned this#but I have in fact made sprites for the PMD collab project. in 2021 actually#it's wild to think about because at that time the PMD project was way smaller that it is right now.#when I tuned back into the Discord to submit my Sprite edits for the first time in 2025#I was absolutely shocked to find out that every single Pokemon has an entry now. they've come so far#for context I was the person that made some of the Eeveelution portraits. that's how dire it was#the portraits I contributed where very work in progress and required somebody else to finish them#but I did technically contribute something and my name is on the website so that's cool.#pretty sure I did some edits on the Chikorita portraits and something else I forget#it's really cool to revisit PMD again and see that the projects have become so much more rich and diverse. what a year to be alive#oh yeah I made some cutscene Celebi sprite edits as well. I'll post those later
