Who’s the easiest character to write and who’s the hardest?
Easiest- August Walker. I just like him a lot and I have many fix-it ideas surrounding him so he comes pretty easily to me
Hardest- Micki Ramirez. I like her a lot but it's been a minute since I watched her episodes and I have a hard time finding her voice

🌋 Abby X Callian 🙏
Outlaw AU
After her husband was murdered, Abby wasn't in the mood to wait for proper justice. Murdering Tom Davidson made her a fugitive. The power of the Davidson family put her in more danger, but it also gave her more notoriety. It wasn't long until she had her own little gang, each of them done wrong by the Davidson clan. Her most recent recruit, an Apache mourning the loss of his tribe in his land in a more violent manner than the railroad workers would like, occupies her thoughts (and her tent) more often than she'd like to admit.

🌋 + Cassie/Cordell 🌋 + Cassie/David 🌋 + Geri/Trey
Cassie/Cordell
AU where Cassie is a fugitive that Cordell captures but on the way back to the station, he realizes she's less a hardened criminal and more a woman in love that got in over her head and resolves to get her out of this
Cassie/David
Apocalypse AU. David thought he found an empty settlement and was glad for the boon of supplies, until he found himself on the wrong end of a crossbow. No thought beyond setup but.... Vibes. Maybe they go on an adventure to find a mythical settlement that actually has a functioning society
Geri/Trey
Runaway bride au- Geri loved Hoyt but realized too late that she couldn't spend her life with him. Not able to face their family/friend group, she runs out of the back window of the chapel and takes off on foot. Trey was on his way to Austin when he saw a woman in a big white dress running as fast as she could. He picked up the runaway bride and told himself he'd get her to a rest stop and that would be it. Except maybe she's really pretty and easy to get along with and she had enough cash to cover a motel room for a couple days and it's not like he could just leave her alone......

AO3 has been scraped, once again.
As of the time of this post, AO3 has been scraped by yet another shady individual looking to make a quick buck off the backs of hardworking hobby writers. This Reddit post here has all the details and the most current information. In short, if your fic URL ends in a number between 1 and 63,200,000 (inclusive), AND is not archive locked, your fic has been scraped and added to this database.
I have been trying to hold off on archive locking my fics for as long as possible, and I've managed to get by unscathed up to now. Unfortunately, my luck has run out and I am archive locking all of my current and future stories. I'm sorry to my lovelies who read and comment without an account; I love you all. But I have to do what is best for me and my work. Thank you for your understanding.

Moonlight Memories
Relationship(s): Calian/Abby Walker
Tags/Warnings: Social Issues, Angst, Secret Relationship
Summary:
“How long do we have tonight?” Calian cradled her head in his hands. “Until the sun chases us home.”
Written as part of a self imposed challenge to write fics for all the prompts in this post: 24 of 30
Prompt: "My heart aches to be with you."

---------------------------------------------------------
“You know we can’t keep meeting like this.”
Abigail nodded. “I know. I know that. But… I don’t think I can give you up. My heart aches to be with you….”
“So does mine.” Calian kissed her hand. “But you know we can’t keep this up forever.”
“We could try,” she murmured.
If only the world wasn’t so cruel. If only they could be married without great sacrifice. If only showing their love to the world wouldn’t end in severe tragedy.
But they both knew better. They knew Calian’s tribe would never accept her, nor would American society accept him.
It was painful, but all they could ever have was this. This secret affair, hidden away from everything and everyone but the stars above.
“How long do we have tonight?”
Calian cradled her head in his hands. “Until the sun chases us home.”
For now, that would be enough.

Cracked Reflections
Relationship(s): Cassie Perez/Cordell Walker
Tags/Warnings: Angst, Secret relationship, Regret, Hurt No Comfort
Summary: Cassie wonders when she became this sort of person
Written as part of a self imposed challenge to write fics for all the prompts in this post: 22 of 30
Prompt: “We need to stop dancing around it. All it does, is hurting us both!”
Taglist: @theladywyn, @ihavepointysticks, @klaatu51, @neptunium134, @itsjessiegirl1
------------------------------------
“Are you ready to go?”
Cordell looked up from the paperwork he wasn’t doing and nodded. “Sure. What’s for dinner?”
Cassie shrugged. “Taco truck?”
“Sounds good to me.”
It had become a routine. The two of them going off together, alone, with no one in the circle the wiser. Trey and James thought they were just good partners hanging out after work. Cordell’s family thought he was just working late.
Cassie wasn’t sure what any of them would think if they knew, and that was why none of them did.
Cordell drove them this time. They stopped to get tacos and ate them on the drive to their motel room.
Cassie wasn’t sure how they managed to get the same room every time. Cordell could be calling ahead, or they could be lucky. She’d never asked before, and she didn’t want to ruin the magic. It was just another part of the routine.
The routine had started a few months ago, after Kevin had been buried along with what was left of Grey Flag. Cassie hadn’t wanted to go home to her empty apartment and Cordell hadn’t wanted to let her go off on her own. That night, they drank more from the minibar than either of them cared to admit, and they fell into bed together almost on accident.
Every time they fell into bed after that was entirely on purpose.
It was comforting. It was routine. It was something just between them. It was something Cassie could count in the face of a world that seemed determined to break her sometimes.
It was also a secret. And that was what made Cassie hate it sometimes. Like tonight.
Cassie stared at herself in the cracked vanity mirror that came with the room, wondering how she got here. When did she become the sort of woman that would have an affair? With her partner of all people?
“Would you ever want to tell them?” she asked suddenly.
Cordell hummed. “Why?”
Cassie sighed and looked at him in the mirror. Laid out on the cheap bed, shirtless, head propped up on one hand, he almost looked like a different person. All the tension he normally carried with him evaporated as soon as he stepped through that door, fell into her arms. She was almost proud of it.
“I just think…. All the sneaking around, all the hiding….. It sucks. I hate it. I- We need to stop dancing around it. All it does is hurt us both.”
Cordell’s eyebrows knit. “What do you mean?”
“I mean- Don’t you hate this too? Hiding, lying to everyone….” Feeling like your love is a dirty secret….
“Cassie…” Cordell slowly sat up and got out of bed, approaching her at the vanity. He put his hands on her shoulders and bent down to kiss her head. “...If you want to tell someone, we can. I just...I like the way things are now, don’t you? Just us, no judgment, no fear….”
She sighed and leaned into him. She could argue. She could list all the reasons why they should say something. And he would probably listen to them, then slowly convince her back around into silence.
“I guess it’s not so bad here….”
She caught his smile in the mirror before he dragged her back to bed.

“I didn’t want to tell you like this, but I have no choice. Mary Collins… I love you.”
“My name is Abigail Walker. Can we get back to your confession?” Her face showed no mercy as her hand scribbled across the page. “Is there anything else you have to say?”
“Abigail, please. I know I’ve made some mistakes but-”
“You killed my husband.” Her eyes were icier than her tone. “Is there anything else you have to confess?”
“...No, I suppose not.”
“Good. I’ll see you in court.” She stood up and walked away, leaving Tom alone in his cell.

Forever is in the Air

------------------
Cordell tapped his finger on the steering wheel while he waited for Emily to finish her shift at The Side Step. He was early, too early, but he’d been too afraid of being late.
This wasn’t just a normal date, after all. This was it. The Big One. The one that would change everything- for better or for worse.
He had to get it right. It had to be perfect.
“Cordi!”
Emily’s shout got him out of his head in time to smile at her as she made her way to his car. “You’re early…”
He shrugged and tried to be casual. “I’m just excited to see you. You ready to go?”
“Always. What’s the plan for tonight?”
“Nothing special. Just a little picnic.” With a side of Forever together if you’re interested.
Emily’s smile overshadowed the sunset behind her. “Sounds perfect.”
Cordell took them to a quiet place on the ranch. It had just been cleared out for Mama to expand her garden, but for now it was nice and private. There was just enough room for the picnic blanket and candles to light it.
“This is great,” Emily said, popping a pickle in her mouth. “I really needed something like this. I’ve been running all over the place with my classes and the bar….” She sighed and kissed his cheek. “You always know what I need.”
“I try.” Cordell dipped his hand back into the basket and gripped the small box there. “I, uh, I actually had something I wanted to ask you tonight…”
“Oh? What is it?”
Here goes nothing…. “Emily….” He brought the box out of the basket. He opened it slowly, waiting for her to look at him. “I… I love you. And I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Will you marry me?”
Emily gasped softly. “I- Cordi….” She looked from the ring to him. “When did you- Oh my god yes!” She jumped at him, almost knocking him over, and planted a big kiss on him.
Cordell yelped but kept his balance, holding Emily close as they kissed. He couldn’t remember the last time he was this happy.
It was the start of the rest of their lives.

Let It Never End
Relationship(s): August Walker/Sadie Yoo
Tags/Warnings: Post-Canon, Summer Vacation, Summer Romance, Road Trips, Fluff and Angst, Love Confessions
Summary: August and Sadie have been having a great time on the road the summer after his graduation, but with college right around the corner, everything is about to change.
Written as part of a self imposed challenge to write fics for all the prompts in this post: Part 14 of 30
Taglist: @theladywyn, @ihavepointysticks, @klaatu51, @neptunium134, @itsjessiegirl1
----------------------------
“I can’t believe how amazing this summer has been.” August leaned back on the hood of Sadie’s van while they shared a drink.
“I can.” Sadie grinned at him. “I’m a badass on the stage and you’re a pretty decent roadie. Are you sure you’ve never done this before?”
August snorted. “I solemnly swear my only concert experience before this is, like, 6 weeks of being in a band.”
“And you wouldn’t know it looking at you.” Sadie smirked. “I’m gonna have to figure out what to do without you. You know, when you go to school.”
“Uh, yeah.” August sat up on his elbows slightly. “About that…. I’m not sure I’m going to school in the fall.”
Sadie frowned softly. “What do you mean? I thought you already had your classes picked out and you were just waiting on roommate selection.”
“Well, I was. But I’ve been thinking….” August shrugged. “I like being on the road with you. I’m getting life experience, it’s really helping me flesh out my photography portfolio, and I’m still not even sure what I would wanna do with a college degree. Like, what do I wanna do after my basics? Accounting? Law? Music? Something for the ranch? I was thinking of maybe taking a gap year or-”
“You can’t do that!”
August blinked at her. “Why? I was just-”
“August, you have a great scholarship to a great school that is not going to give you a chance like that again! Your family is so proud of you and so am I! You can’t just throw that away on a whim!” And she wasn’t just saying that because she was 98% sure his family would blame her for the sudden change in attitude. “Are you just nervous about going to college? Because you’re gonna be great at it! And who cares if you don’t have it all figured out right now? You can always change your major later.”
“Sadie…. I didn’t just decide this this morning. I’ve been thinking about it for a while now.” He sat up more, so they were on the same level. “I like traveling with you and I’m just not sure about school. I didn’t think you’d get so worked up about it….”
“Of course I’m worked up about it! This is a huge deal! You- You can’t just throw your whole future away for a glorified road trip with a girl only half your family likes!”
“Wh- You know everyone in my family loves you. What’s this really about?”
“This is about me caring about you and wanting you to do well in life! Does it have to be about more than that?”
“Well, no but… You’re just acting a little weird about this. What? Do you not want me traveling with you anymore?” His smile was joking but there was a hint of uncertainty in his eyes.
“I- That’s not it. I just- You can’t put your plans on hold for me. I mean- I am having fun with you and everything. It’s great. But you have a future outside of this and you should go for it.” She narrowed her eyes at him. “And why do you want to put it on hold anyway? And don’t say it’s just because we’re having fun.”
August looked away first. “It’s nothing. Like I said, I’m not even sure what I’d do in college anyway.”
“Bullshit.” Sadie wasn’t letting him weasel out of this. “What are you so desperate to stay away from?”
“I’m not staying away from anything,” August insisted. “I just- I like being on the road with you. I like being with you in general. And you’re on the road a lot and if I went to college I’d be stuck in one place and- I don’t know, it’d suck.”
“Augie, that’s stupid. You can’t just- You can’t put everything on hold just because of me. You know cell phones exist, right? We’ll still hang out and everything after you go to school. I’ll call you and you’ll text me and I’ll swing through Austin as much as I can.” As long as Geri would let her crash on the couch at least. “Why would you think we wouldn’t?”
“Okay, well, you say that now, but once we actually get into it, I’ll get busy with classes and you’ll be even busier on the road since I won’t be helping you and we’ll say we’ll hang out but time will pass and next thing you know it’s been months since we’ve even talked and the next time I see you is Christmas or something and you’ve got a new roadie and…. It’ll be weird.”
Sadie sighed. He had a point. It was hard to argue with the passage of time and the inevitable busyness of college life. Still. That was no reason for him to throw his future away. “Well…. What if I stayed in Austin with you?”
August’s head snapped back to her. “What? Why would you do that? I thought you had a tour lined up?”
She shrugged. “Tours come and go. Besides, I’ve missed Austin. I can get a job a the Side Step or something and play some local gigs. We’ll have time to hang out and you can still be my stage guy. I could probably even pay you.”
“Sadie, you shouldn’t put your plans on hold just because I’m having some kind of freak out. You love traveling. I can’t ask you to give that up for me.”
“You’re not asking, I’m offering. Big difference.”
“Still, you shouldn’t- I don’t want you to miss out on something great just because of me.”
“But it’s okay for you to miss out on your whole future because of me?”
August rolled his eyes. “Yeah, yeah, I’m a hypocrite. But why does me going to school matter so much to you anyway?”
Because I don’t want you to make a mistake. “Well, why does staying on the road with me matter so much to you?”
August shrugged. “It’s dumb.”
“Come on, nothing is dumb between us. Spill.”
He sighed. “It’s just- We’ve been having a lot of fun. I know it’s nothing serious, but it means a lot to me and… I don’t know, I don’t want it to end.”
“Augie….” That was probably the sweetest thing a boyfriend had ever said to her. “This means a lot to me too. I really like hanging out with you and it’s good to not be on the road alone.”
August laughed, but it didn’t carry it’s usual warmth. “That’s sweet of you, but I know this is probably gonna be over the minute I set foot on campus. I mean, the long distance thing, me being in college…. We’ll get distracted, next thing you know we both have feelings for other people and we’re awkwardly sidestepping each other at every family event for the next 20 years. I get it. It’s fine.”
That…. That wasn’t right. That wasn’t right at all.
There was only one way to fix this. “Are you really gonna make me say it?”
“Say what-”
“I love you, okay?! I love you.”
August stared at her, gobsmacked. “I- What? You- What?”
Well, that wasn’t exactly how she wanted it to come out but…. “I love you. I love spending time with you. I love watching you work. I love it when you get overly protective of me. I love it when you get all flustered because I’m flirting with you and you’re trying not to make it awkward. I love traveling with you and I don’t want it to end either, but I want you to follow your dreams for once.”
“Sadie…. I… I don’t know what to say.”
“So don’t say anything.” Sadie leaned in and kissed him softly. “We should probably get some sleep if we’re going to make it to Austin in time for dinner tomorrow,” she whispered.
“Uh- Yeah. Yeah, that sounds good.” August scrambled to get off the hood and dashed for the back of the van to get their sleeping rolls.
Sadie smiled and followed him at a much slower pace.
