What can I say? This day was so overloaded with fun for I spent it with the astig-est people ever. I'm so happy I'm gonna get maaaad! Random things of right now

I'm so overly pumped up! Idk people but right now, I'm wearing my old feet warmers that I havent worn for such a long time now and daaaamn, it literally feels like Christmas! I'm so happy to be back home. Yesterday we had a family gathering because some of the relatives are going back to Florida today. I had a chance to be with some of my cousins. Bailey was there, my five year old cousin who is super adorable. We spent the whole time chatting about Mars, Kinect, Disney and a lot of random things that I can't talk about to people my own size. I even drew her spongebob and some mermaids. She told me that she'd save them. Hahaha, such a cutiepie. Tooodaaaay, I had a date with my sister (despite the heavy rains and winds), had drinks and bought kaartehan stuff. She also bought herself a new phone because her old one was stolen and also because she's top two in class! Proud sister right here! Then we went home and relatives were here and we had dinner all together! My two cousins are sleeping over tonight and right now theyre having a drawing contest and I'm the judge. Haha. :) These random stuff might seem all no biggie but they're the ones making my heart happy right now and so I guess being enthusiastic to every little bit would be the least that I can do to show how much I appreciate Him. Wee, cheesy. It's cheeeesy cos it's true. :') Well, goodnight. I'll be sleeping with high spirits! Also, I'll be sleeping with Starry Night Turtle tonight:) PS. Tomorrow's a big day. I hope the rain will eventually stop. *crossed fingggaaahz* PS-er. I intended to put some photos in this post but Tumblr won't let me haha whyy tumblr............................. PS-est. I'm sorry for the lack of coherence. :)))

“That’s someday it will lead me back to you…”

Bullets:

·   After two nights (?), I was able to finish John Green's An Abundance of Katherines. And gaaaaaah -- that after feeling of reading an amazing book, I sort of felt transported into a different dimension of the universe, escaped from the reality of having to read heaps of college textbooks and photocs.

·   "Naught's had, all's spent" -- I feel bad for all the minutes I have spent doing nothing during the whole week of class suspension due to the torrential rainfall.

·   Well, I haven't exactly done nothing. Last Thursday, I actually spent the whole day helping out with the Isko Operations. At least I was able to help in my own capacity. It feels good to help with the relief. But it kinda feels bad, at the same time, realizing that if only we were as active in preventing these sort of calamities as we are with the relief operations, then maybe, just maybe, the damage would’ve not  been this great.

·   I'm glad the weather is okay now.

·   But I'm worried the the long weekend might be compromised to make up for the suspended classes.

·   I'm so missing home, but I try not to think about home so much. Besides I still got gazillion of pages to read to keep me away from sad thoughts about being away from home. With them, I don't become sad. I become frustrated instead.

·   I better finish everything ASAP. Bio 1, Anthro 10, PE 2 and Econ 11 exams are fast approaching.

·   I promise to start right after posting this.

·   khanacademy.org really helps me understand this whole Microeconomics thing. But still, I cannot answer number 4 of my problem set. :(

·   I've been listening to Sunday Morning of Maroon 5 on repeat. And reallyyy, I love how it's just feel-good and chill.

I don't get how I can read exceeding halfway through the entire An Abundance of Katherines book last night when I cannot even go through the first page of my Anthro 10 readings.

Makes me hate myself for having messed up my priorities but I surely enjoyed the connection I had with the book last night. Although I haven't finished it because I can't help dozing off, I can tell by the first 100+ pages that it's a good book. I'll sure try to finish it today (despite heaps of acads work waiting to be done :( ) because the book ain't mine. Niether is the photo above. Hehe. :)

Once you graduate from this great University, you should prove that the Filipino people did not make a mistake in investing their hard-earned money in your education. Your teachers and professors too, with their measly salaries and allowances, have invested a lot for your U.P. education. As U.P. Diliman Chancellor Sergio Cao stated during the recent 2006 Commencement Exercises, "U.P. did not train you to be exported abroad." We hope that when the time comes, you will join the ranks of the excellent liberators of this country, and not the ranks of its corrupt oppressors who are a disgrace to our University's values and principles.

Holy grapes! Rainfall has become more fierce. I cannot bring myself into imagining how the homeless Filipinos fight for their lives at times like this. To say that they are strong would be an understatement. I mean, the icy temperature, hunger and depression that the storm brings... how would a human endure all that? I'm pretty sure they won't be able to read this but I think they're amazing and that their strength is priceless. Let's pray or wish the sun to appear soon, not for ourselves, but for them. :(
